Futuristic The Experiments

[QUOTE="Cyber Wolf]Axle and Vina led the group into the building, he was about to turn toward the group again when Vina's aqua blue eyes widened slightly, "you're being approached." Axle looked toward Vina, then felt the tap. He turned around and faced London, looking down at her with rather gentle yet mysterious gaze. He hesitated after she finished her question, and his gaze flicked over her shoulder to the group behind her. He inhaled slightly "The simulation is used for us to see what we need to train you all in. Some do better in fear than they do pressure, and vise-versa."
Vina continues forward and unlocks two massive black doors, before pushing them open. She looks to Axle, "ahem." She smiles gently.

Axle looks toward Vina, then back to London, "i shall explain more once you are all seated and inside." Without another word he turnsaid and begins to lead the group through the massive black doors and into a blank white room that seems to have one hundred chairs seated in rows of ten from the front to the back of the room. "Everyone, please take a seat." He says as he walks toward another door and unlocking it.

Lani makes her way towards the front, apprehensive and anxious. She understands that this is a simulation but somehow it has all become too real much too quickly, a steady mantra of 'no' streams into her head. She struggles to calm herself, her anxiety already amplified by the other's emotions and to make it worse, she feels faint. Sliding down into a seat directly in the front, Lani inhales and exhales steadily.

Max followed the rest in, looking at the many faces of each person, fascinated with the range of emotions. Everything from fear, excitement and wonder. He couldn't deny he was more then curious with what could follow. He kept an eye on the man that went by the name of Axel, he seemed to know what was going on. Max took the closet seat he could to Axel, knowing he might have valuable information on the situation.

***Important post. No characters are immune to the Alter-Elixir, please continue without any problems because I'd rather get past this boring beginning quickly***

Axle unlocked another door, and it slid open silently, then one pair of violet eyes opened, blinking a few times, then several more appeared. Axle stepped aside and allowed the women to step out of the dark room. They were all identical, tall, with blonde hair, and violet eyes with a blue ring around their pupils. Without hesitation they all went to stand beside those who were already seated.

Vina stood in the front and inhaled deeply, "Please try not to flinch or draw away from these droids they mean no harm, yet their touch is quite cold. You may feel a small prick just behind your ear, don't worry, everything is normal and you are safe."

Axle walks back toward the front of the room and to what looks like a massive old computer. He types in a something quickly, and the droid women blink a few times.

"If you have a fear of needles, please look away or shut your eyes. You shall be injected with the 'Alter-Elixir' it's not harmful and has been perfect and tested thousands of times. No after-symptoms, you shall fall asleep, and you will be tested against your greatest fears. All I can give you as advice is to remain calm."

The Droid women make it quick, without any question if the teen is ready, they quickly plunge the needle just behind the ear, injecting the icy liquid quickly, before drawing back.

Saul had no time to ask any further questions. He felt the pinch of the needle and he gripped the arm rests of the seats tightly in slight shock, feeling the liquid rush into his body and in seconds his world began to become cloudy and slow.

Lily heard needle and her eyes widened in terror, "w-what?" She shut her eyes tightly as she felt the prickly just behind her ear. She whimpered softly, then felt her body relaxing, she sighs heavily and weakly blinks as she is forced into a slumber.

Max saw the droid come in, a small smirk came across his face. He had seen tech the public wouldn't see commercialized for millenniums but this was something he had never seen before. When the droid came over he tried to get a reading, nothing. He felt the prick, "Son of a bitc..." Collapsing like a bag of bricks

The answer wasn't really satisfying for Abbey but it would have to suffice as Axle walked away promising more when they have all seated in some makeshift of a room. She apathetically followed in suit, gazing over the black pitched doors followed by a juxtaposition of a white yet eery room. In it, it seemed to house chairs centuplicated into rows of ten. She chose the one closest to the door. The emotionless woman, who's name still escapes Abbey, explained to not fear the oncoming duplicates of droid like women carrying a needle of some sort that held some kind of liquid. Abigail peered at the machine that made its way towards her, traversing her eyes towards Axle and clearing her throat to get his attention. "I recall earlier you promised to go in depth with the simulation..." She sneered from afar. Before she could properly listen for a reply, the droid women from earlier made its way towards her. "Don't you dare!" In seconds Abbey felt a sting just beneath her ear, standing up brusquely and walking backwards quite lethargically whilst mumbling "Insolent, Mindless..." Before she could even finish, she fell back on a seat next to her, passing out cold.

Brandon followed Chase into the large white room, both of their faces emotionless. They sat at the end of a row near the middle and tried to relax as they listened to Axle and his sister explain about the Elixir. Neither of them liked needles and not knowing what the Alter-Elixir did was even more intimidating. They kept their faces blank however, both of them trying to avoid making the other nervous. They still felt each other's nervousness despite their best efforts. They were twins after all, that's just how it worked. When two droids came over they both stiffened as they waited for the needle's prick. Chase flinched a little, but Brandon was so stiff he couldn't flinch even if he wanted to. As the Elixir took effect, they both slumped over in their chairs.

Luca's eyes widened, and she felt her breath hitch. Needles? Oh, Lord, this wouldn't go well. She was horrible with needles. She noticed the Droid approaching her and tightly squeezed her eyelids shut. She instinctually curled in onto herself. Remembering the man's words, however, she tried to calm herself and relax, if not her mind, at least her body. Her eyes remained forced shut as she felt the prick of the needle piercing her skin. After a second, her body completely limpened, and she slumped forward in her chair, entirely unconscious.

Lani's eyes closed as the sudden rush of calm influenced her to sleep. Some small part of her screamed that something was going to happen however she ignored it, welcoming the need to sleep and gladly giving in to her answer instincts. She was enevloped in complete darkness.

Saul's eyes fluttered open and he was in the same room as before, the white lights stung his sleepy eyes. He blinked a few times, glancing around he notices he is alone. "Shit.. where is everyone?" he rubs his eyes slightly before standing up, walking toward the doors from earlier, yet when he tried to open the door it wouldn't budge. He quickly looks closer at the door, and notices it isn't a door anymore, instead its a wall with a door painted on. "What the-" He looks around quickly, he stumbles back and water licks at his jeans. He looks at the floor and terror engulfs the rather lean teen. The water begins to rise, and quickly at that. Saul frantically beats his fist against where the door used to be "Help!!" He screams, the water at his thighs now. "Oh no.. no no no!" He climbs up onto one of the chairs and trembles in fear, watching the water rise quicker and quicker. Saul shuts his eyes and takes a deep breath, as he feels he water quickly creep up his body. He feels himself being lifted as he struggles to keep above the water. He puts his hands against the ceiling and desperately tries to calm himself, breathing deeply and quickly. He sighs heavily, finally reminding himself that its a dream, then he hears a familiar cry. He snaps his gaze to his left and sees his youngest sister going under. "JESSIE!" Saul screams, the water licking at his chin. He inhales deeply and dives, paddling desperately to get to the small girl who is kicking and fighting to breath. Saul reaches out and grabs her arm, yet the small girl shifts into a darkness, Saul's eyes widen as this darkness tangles up his wrist and ankle tightly. He screams under the water, feeling the liquid pour into his lungs. He desperately tries to break free, his chest tightening and a burning stinging his throat. He quickly weakens and looks up at the ceiling, staring at the bright white as he gives into the darkness, feeling his heart beat slower and slower.

Suddenly air floods his lungs and the lean teen gasps for breath, he coughs yet nothing comes out as if he wasn't even in water. He looks around and notices that he is alone again. "Is this some sick game?!" He screams, then he blinks and he is standing in the middle of a road. He looks around and terror makes his heart drop. He watches as a car comes around the corner a bit too quick, the tires slide against the ice and the white kia rio slams into a tree. Saul's eyes widen, the sound of the metal crunching echoing in his head. "No...NO!!" He screams, running toward the car. Smoke pours from the hood, Saul looks into the window and sees a guy he doesn't know who's barely conscious. Saul swings open the door and pulls the guy out, yet he couldn't care less for this random, his eyes were locked on his younger sister. Her body mangled, and her blood dripping onto the tan leather of the seats. "Jessie!" He cries as he climbs into the car and tries to pull her free, yet her seat belt is pinched between the center-console. Saul feels tears stinging his eyes as he feels his skin heating up, burning through the leather restraint. He tries to pull her free once the seat belt releases her, he pulls at her and she lets out a loud cry of agony. "Come on Jessie, we don't have much time!" He glances toward the hood and notices the orange flame barely sparking under the hood, He looks back at the random. "Help me!!" he screams, yet the guy just stares before stumbling back and running. "HEY!" Saul screams, yet the soft cries of his sibling keep him there. He continues to try to pull her out, until finally he pulls her free. He tears up as he pulls her out of the car and sets her down in the snow. Her light blue eyes dull and lifeless, Saul swallows hard. "Jessie, don't do this to me!" Her eyes flutter and she smiles lightly, before she goes limp. "Jessie!!" He wails, his chest on fire, and ice cold tears stinging his cheeks. He inhales deeply, having to remind himself that its just a dream. He trembles with anger, yet he breaths in and out slowly, feeling himself calm.

Finally he blinks and he is in the room with the other teens, he sighs heavily. His eyes sting with stale, useless tears. The teen looks up at Axle, and he can feel his body heat rising. "You son of a bitch." Saul spits at the man who wants to be called his leader.

Lily blinks a few times to adjust to the darkness in the surrounding area. Suddenly the area transforms to her own home, she is sitting beside her mother and younger brother. It takes the young blond a few moments before she hears the massive bang against the door. She gasps and slinks back, pressing herself against the icy tub behind her. She looks to her mother, then her brother. More pounding at the door, tears form in Lily's eyes as she recalls this day.. the day her farther murdered her younger brother and mother.. Lily's mother looks to her, her eyes teary and pleading. "Lily, i need you to hide us.. please lily!" Lily is taken back, she swallows hard and attempts to do so. The young teen focuses her energy on her mother and brother yet the continuous banging against the door makes it difficult to concentrate. "Lily!" her mother snaps, as the sound of the door giving way gives them all chills. "I-im trying!!" Lily whimpers. She tries again, and watches as they start to vanish yet he continues to pound against the door making her lose concentration again. "LILY!" Her mother shouts, just as Lily's father, or what used to be him breaks through the door. "David... Please.. Don't do this, we love-" The possessed man grabs her mother's throat in a tight grip, looking into her icy blue eyes with his possessed black eyes. "David-" He cuts her off by slamming her into the wall, once, then twice, then three times. Her blood splattered over the tile walls, and leaving a pool of red at the bottom. The man who used to be Lily's father drops her mother's corpse, focusing his black glare on Lily's younger brother. "No!" Lily screams and tries to pull away he possessed man, yet he whips around and smacks her. His ice cold skin stinging her cheek, leaving four large burns across her cheek. Her former father then grabs the young boy by his throat, the boy squirms and begs yet his begs turn to forced squeaks as he desperately gasps for air due to his possessed father slowly crushing his throat. Lily watches in terror at her fathers hand forms into a hand with black claw like nails, and with one swift movement he forces the claws into the child's throat. The young boy lands on the tile floor with a heavy thud, his eyes dull and lifeless as blood pours from the five massive holes in his throat. Lily steps aside, and watches as the large man walks out of the bathroom, leaving her staring down at the two corpses of her only family.

Lily blinks once, twice, and she is standing on top of a building. The icy wind messing with her hair as she carefully glances around. Then she notices him. Standing up on the edge of the building. One of the twins, the one who seems a bit more muscular than the other.. Brandon was it? She hesitates for a moment, before noticing he is inching toward the edge. "W-wait! No!" She cries out yet its too late. Hes already falling over the edge. Without thinking the smaller blonde jumps after him, the icy win takes her breath away and stings her eyes. She tightly squeezes her body as she plummets quicker and quicker toward the falling twin. She reaches out yet is unable to touch him despite her best efforts, she looks past him and notices they are nearing the ground below. She gasps and focuses her energy on him. She watches as he light violet colored force-field surrounds him and crashes into the ground leaving him unharmed. She inhales deeply, tearing welling in her eyes as she accepts that there is no time to save herself. She hits the ground and everything goes dark.

Lily's eyes shoot open and she gasps, panting lightly. she sobs softly, and looks up as Saul calls Axle a 'son of a bitch.'

Axle looks to Vina, who seems a tad bit uneasy. "What is it?" Axle questions, "The blonde, Abbey is it? She has quite the temper and mind power." Axle glances toward the small girl slumped in a chair. "Quite." Vina looks to her brother. "She has much planned for you." Axle glares toward his sibling, yet she has been right before. Axle sighs and waits for the teens to awaken.

"You son of a bitch." Axle snaps his dark gaze on one of the more lean teens, he glances over them and notices as more start to awaken. The leader figure chuckles, "I had the same reaction when was your age, yet i-" "None of us are you, fucker." Suddenly a blast of fire slammed into the wall beside Axle. The leader didn't flinch, instead he turned his darkened gaze to the enraged Saul who stood in the front row, his eyes ablaze and his hands sparking. "Careful kid." Axle growls, "You fucker, You are a lying son of a bitch!!" Saul shouts, before throwing another ball of flames toward the leader. Axle bares his fangs and growls loudly, shadows pour from his palms and stop the fireball from reaching him and his sibling. The shadows pour from his hands like water, and quickly flow toward Saul. The enraged teen ignites the floor with fire stopping most of the shadows from reaching him, yet more keep coming. The shadows coil around Saul's legs and pull him off the chairs roughly, pinning him to the floor. The darkness flows over him like heavy fog. The teen struggles against his restrains, and growls loudly. The cries out in agony, as the darkness begins to burn into the teens skin and choke him.

Vina looks to her sibling, His eyes dark and glazed over. "Axle." She snaps, the leader blinks and withdraws his darkness. Saul coughs, and gasps as the darkness releases his throat and leaves him laying on the cold floor. Saul slowly gets to his feet and glares at Axle, "Go to hell." the teens spits at his so called leader. "Already there." Axle mutters under his breath.

A rather forceful tap, more like a shove really, on Abigail's shoulders awakened her from her deep sleep. "Up girl. We have not finished." A familiar authoritative voice boomed over the young lady. Abigail looked immediately, reprieved from her sleepy state and fixed her glazed emerald eyes in a deep-seated glare on the old decrepit woman before her. "Come now lass. Continue your arpeggios." The old woman ordered as she walked in circles like a scavenging hawk around the black grand piano that Abigail was sitting on. Although the sceptic young lady held her eyes inflexibly on the old woman, the bat seemed to pay no heed and continued her sauntering around the instrument as if she'd done this whole process before. Her steps followed the ticking of the metronome placed on top of the piano as she walked on about with her head held high. Abigail's gaze still followed her but mentally noting the room she was currently in. She remembered as if it was yesterday. The pristine silky curtains from China, the hand crafted coffee table from India and the lion-dog statues of Japan all screamed affluence and wealth. She knew where she was. She was in her grandmother's opulent abode. She looked down and saw the familiar piano keys she dreadfully loathed and the pedals right under them. She also looked at her outfit and quickly traversed her gaze on a reflection casted by the mirror that was always hung on a wall next to the piano. She looked like her younger self taken notice of her once long flowy hair and her small private school uniform.

"Impossible." Abigail whispered to herself. "What was that my dear?" Abbey's grandmother questioned, halting her small monotone march around the piano. Her cynical gaze bore down on the young girl as if challenging her to reply. Long ago Abbey would just whimper and submit but those days were over. "Nothing Grandmother." She haughtily replied continuing her arpeggios with finesse and subtlety. The grandmother grimaced but held her tongue as she continued her stride onward. As she played, Axle's words echoed in her mind "You shall be injected with the 'Alter-Elixir' .... you shall fall asleep.... tested against your greatest fears..." "Thats it!" She thought to herself. "This is nothing but a farce conjured up by him and his cohorts to delude my mind!" A small smile etched on Abbey's face as she exhaled deeply in victory but loud enough for her grandmother to hear it. "See! Although your not quite there, you are progressing marvelously. How does it feel when you finally listen to me?" The old woman questioned triumphantly as if finally subduing some beast.

"Like Shit."

The look that her grandmother gave was stark and deadly like a hungry monster released from its caged. "I beg your pardon young lady..." The old woman halted, her stride transforming into a flounce as she charged for Abbey. "Unclean, Unwanted!" As she neared, her hand rose higher and higher but before she could strike, Abbey, who no longer looked like her past self, menacingly glared at her grandmother. "Stop." Her command seemed to work empowered by some sort of strength. The old woman ceased her charge. "Just like your mother... I told him to get rid of both you while he had the chance but he did it right after you we're born. Where is your whore of a mother now? Of with other men? Clearly she's not here as I am before you." She snarled rather venomously to rouse the girl into action. "Hmph." Abbey replied standing now over the old woman who was frozen in her place but yet still speaks. "Grandmother if I paid attention to every sycophant that pried for the attention of my mother I would barely have anytime to eat or breath... Oh wait I do... and yet here I am breathing and most definitely eating, so we can surmise that you... are... wrong granny. She isn't a whore you make her to be but something else you yourself can never become. I won't explain to a shrewd bat like you anything for I find it that you bigotedly ignore everything that goes against your way of thinking. Your a mean old lady that does nothing but pester and ruin the lives of others just to keep your status. I spit on people like you. And for your son, my father, who is doing the exact same thing you describe my mother to be is, is just like you, an ungrateful bastard who loves nothing not even his own daughter, that in secret is the biggest whore in London. Fortunately I wont have to see him again because he's dead but what a father of the year he was right? Now I have to leave and end this reverie soon. I will leave you to your silly arpeggios. Good day grandmother and to hell with you."

Abbey pushed past her and immediately the area changed with each strike she dealt with her heel to the floor. By the time she reached the exit of the room, everything went black. She took a small hesitant breath and whispered "I have faced my demons what more now..." As she opened the door a tall ruggedly handsome man stood before her with a small smile but also with a repressed look. "Father..." She whispered to herself. "I'm sorry..." He began but Abbey cut him off without a second thought. "Save your words imagined spectre for they are nothing but lies." She venomously replied "... I don't have it." "What?" She peculiarly asked. Then behind her a man that nearly towered her phased through her, shoving her father into a corner of some dank hallway. "I don't have time to wait for your games Alexander, cough it up or else..." She didn't hear the reply from her father but she remained stationary as she witnessed the scene. The ogreish man then whistled and more of his size and caliber emerged from where he came from moments ago. "Wait! Stop!" Abigail commanded, using her powers to influence. They did nothing as she saw one by one faze through her. She looked at her father who now stood shaking, his hands clenched with regret. The men slowly made there way towards them, she wanted him to run, screamed for him to run, but yet somewhere deep deep inside her she was satisfied in knowing he deserved it for leaving her. It was quiet for a few seconds, the dripping of water from a loose pipe being the only source of sound. A small whisper escaped from her father's lips "I'm sorry Abbey..." And then they attacked. Abigail immediately turned away and ran for the exit, wiping her eyes from the salty tears and exhaling profusely from her heartfelt sobs.

"This is not real. It is fake. It is fabricated, twisted, wrong and cruel... How dare they-" Before she could finish, she awoke in tears but not before witnessing
Axle attacking the fire thrower who was choked with a hand of darkness on the ground and was screaming in agony. She cleaned herself using the seam of her shirt before anyone noticed and approached them "How tactful of you..." She replied sarcastically with a rancorous countenance. "... and how cruel. If it wasn't for your display of power I would've joined in the fray of killing you."

Chase sat up slowly and opened his eyes. Wherever he was was so dark he might as well have kept his eyes closed. He stood up and then noticed a small glow coming from his skin. He focused on the light and amplified it until he was glowing all over. He walked around but wherever he went there was nothing but darkness, except for the small circle of light he made. Suddenly he stumbled into a golden mirror. He went around and looked at his reflection. Slowly his reflection changed, showing him strapped to an operating table. He looked closer and realized that it wasn't him, it was a very sickly looking Brandon. A crazy looking doctor approached Brandon with a massive needle. Brandon screamed and thrashed around, trying to get away. The doctor looked at Chase and grinned maniacally. "Brandon!" Chase yelled, hitting the mirror in frustration. The doctor stuck the needle into Brandon's arm, but didn't inject him yet. Chase didn't know what was in the syringe but somehow he knew it would kill Brandon. He bit his lip and tried to send a ball of light into the mirror world. It worked and the doctor clawed at his eyes, blinded. Suddenly Brandon started screaming in pain and Chase saw that the doctor had injected some of the drug into Brandon. "No! Brandon!" He yelled, hitting the mirror as Brandon went limp.

The scene changed and Chase sank to the floor, pulling his knees to his chest and rocking back and forth. He didn't even realize that he was in his and Brandon's room. Brandon came over to his and put his hand on Chase's shoulder. "Hey, dude. Do you want to go out?" Brandon asked, pulling Chase into a standing position and dragging him outside. Suddenly Brandon fell to the ground, convulsing. "Brandon!" Chase knelt beside him. Brandon stopped suddenly and stood up, his eyes red. A young girl rode by on a bicycle and Brandon ran over to her, picking her up by her hair. The girl screamed as Brandon pulled out a knife and held it to her throat. "Brandon, stop!" Chase yelled, going closer. He looked down at his hand and found a fully-loaded gun. His hand raised on its own and pulled the trigger. Brandon collapsed and the girl disappeared. Chase ran to Brandon and rolled him on his back. Brandon's lifeless eyes glared accusingly at Chase.

Tears ran down Chase's face as he woke up. He looked over at Brandon, still asleep beside him. Chase quickly felt for Brandon's pulse, needing to be sure. He sighed and leaned back in his chair, relieved. He saw the leader fighting one of the students, but he wasn't about to leave Brandon, not after what he had just seen. He wiped his face and waited anxiously for Brandon to wake up.

Brandon opened his eyes and saw Chase right in front of him. "Chase! Thank goodness you are here. We can make it through together." Brandon said, trying to reassure both of them. But Chase didn't move or look at him, instead staring straight ahead. "Chase?" Brandon waved his hand in Chase's face then tapped him on the shoulder. Something flung Brandon backwards and he was suddenly strapped to a table. He thrashed frantically, hating being so vulnerable. Chase went over and leaned down until their noses were almost touching. "You failed me. I am dead." Chase said emotionlessly before vanishing like a mist. "Chase! Wait!" Brandon yelled, trying his best to get up. He turned his head and saw a man that was the perfect example of a mad scientist. The man waved with a huge needle in his hand. "Oh, goodie. I get to kill both of the infamous Windem twins." The man said, coming closer with the needle poised above Brandon's arm. "You killed Chase?" The man nodded. "He had a nice scream." The man said, a nasty smile crossing his face. Brandon yelled in anger, thrashing around so much that the table nearly fell over. Brandon remembered his powers and made a wall of shadow come between him and the man. He used a more solid darkness to cut the ropes binding him. He jumped through the shadow wall and slammed the doctor to the ground. "Bring him back." He growled, straddling the man and pinning him down. The doctor laughed and stabbed the needle into Brandon's leg.

The scene changed and Brandon was standing outside an orphanage with Chase. "Chase! I thought you were gone!" Brandon said, giving Chase a bro-hug. Chase laughed and walked away. Suddenly a man with a gun grabbed Chase and put the gun to his temple. "You have five minutes before I blow this boy up." The man told Brandon. Another man came up to Brandon. "There is a bomb in that orphanage. You have five minutes." The new man said. Brandon froze, looking at Chase then the orphanage. "I can't save everyone." He said hopelessly. Chase teared up. "I understand." He said, closing his eyes. Brandon teared up too as he ran to the orphanage. Suddenly he heard a gunshot. Just as he turned to look, the orphanage blew up.

"No!" Brandon yelled as he woke up. He opened his eyes and saw Chase, very much alive, beside him. He wiped his face and the gave each other a long manly hug, ignoring the fight between Axle and one of the teens.

"Indeed." Axle scoffs, the word 'Killing' making him roll his eyes at such childish thoughts, Vina looks over them with a seemingly pleased expression. "They are strong...for the second generation." She sighs. Axle looks to the computer, quickly typing in several keys and the droids quickly vanish back into the darkness of the room they were in before. "They are young, passionate, yet very much confused." the young blonde continues.

Vina's eyes meet Axle's and everything shifts.

December -- 2043

Vina is standing in an unknown living room of what seems to be an apartment as Axle is standing on the side of the building, ushering everyone out a sliding glass door and ordering them to quickly grab the latter on the building beside the one they were in. The banging against the bared door and the shouts of others made chills creep over her skin. She knew what this was... She is watching when, and how Axle will die. Screaming and telling him to stop was futile, she had no control of this situation.. they couldn't see or hear her. Vina's gaze flicked to her actual body, that was already on the other building watching, pulling at a few of the teens trying to tell them that its best if they go.. yet they insisted that they had to wait for Axle.. She wouldnt be able to watch him die for the second time, so the co-leader looks away. White flurries begin to slick the ladder that clung to the side of the building with rusty bolts. As the last teen climbs the ladder, the bolts begin to come loose. "Axle hurry!" the blonde with intense mind power cries desperately. Suddenly the door busts open, and large droids wearing heavy white and steel armor aim at the leader who starting to climb the breaking ladder, and they open fire. Vina watches as two bullets slice through Axle's vulnerable back, and he cries out in agony. The third bullet misses and hits the top of the ladder, breaking it loose. The leader plummets to the snow covered ground, and Vina feels the pain as he lands on the edge of snow covered dumpster with a heavy thud, then he hits the ground limply. The teens scream and don't know if they should help but they all know its over for their leader. Bleeding out and broken. Vina watches as a few droids approach the dying leader, they stare at him before raising a gun and quickly putting him out of his misery.

Vina blinks a few times and Axle is still looking at her as if not a second has passed. "They have a lot to learn." He says sternly, his gaze flicks to Abbey then back to his sibling his eyes still dark and powerful. He leans against the wall as he awaits for the other teens to wake up and probably yell at him calling him names. He didn't mind, he remembers how he nearly slaughtered the scientist who gave him the Elixir when he was younger. Axle almost felt bad for the teens yet he had no control of what the Elixir did to them, this was all ordered by the government.

Saul sits back and rubs his lightly burned wrists, glaring at Axle, then looking down at his hands as he thinks over his simulation. Silently hoping they never have to do it again.

Lily looks up as Brandon and Chase hug, and terror grips her stomach yet she is soothed by the fact she saved him from dying. She sighs heavily and wipes away her tears silently.

Lani was trapped, bound to a bed and confined in an enclosed room. Around her people bustled about, entering and exiting often and never speaking to her when she asked a question. She had no idea of how long she had been here, it had felt like months however she couldn't be sure. She shuffled slightly, heart beating rapidly, struggling to break free and run and never return but they wouldn't let that happen, they would pretend that their morale was still intact and that she was something to be experimented on. Tested on.

Her breathing quickened as a man sporting a lab coat and unnaturally large googles leaned over her, the lower half of his face obscured by a mask and his hands resting on either side of her face.

"What are you going to do to me?" She spoke but he blatantly ignored her, slipping out of view briefly before returning with a metallic device which was inserted on her head. She struggled, trying to refuse the man but to no avail, within minutes the device had been carefully placed onto her head and she was sealed within.

Minutes passed and then..

Pain..

Horrifying pain, as if snakes were coiled into her head, as if a hammer were piercing through her skull, as if every fiber of her being was being ripped apart, shredded.

She wanted it gone, she NEEDED it gone.

Lani's eyes fluttered open and she flew forward, standing up quickly and checking her head for the device. She breathed a sigh of relief as her hands came into contact with her hair and relaxed, the simulation had been terrible. It had exploited the one fear she had wanted to keep hidden, it had ventured into her mind and manipulated her feelings and thoughts.. it was only a fucking hallucination.

Lani's eyes stung from the tears which rolled down her cheeks and she wrapped her arms around herself, feeling the fear and stress which was only amplified by the other's emotions. She didn't want to do this again, not ever..

Alex stared blankly at the chair in front of him. The color of it was so plain, so normal. He took a breath, and wondered why he was thinking about chairs. He was trying to get his mind off of the androids. They were coming. He blinked hard, and slightly shook in his seat. He needed to forget about what was going to happen. He was about to put a hand through his hair when he felt it. The needle pierced, and was slowly injected. He slightly cringed, and blinked once more. His head felt heavy. His mind felt foggy. His body felt tired. He leaned back, and he felt the effects of it immediately. He was no longer conscious.

He "awoke" in his dream to darkness. His hands were tied, he had tape over his mouth, a crowbar lay on the floor, and a screen illuminated the room with such little light that he couldn't see anything else. He felt the crowbar with his foot, and the screen started playing something. It was a camera, surprisingly colorful. A pair of eyes stared at him, and the face moved back. It was a stuffed animal, specifically one of a pug. He turned his head slightly, and the pug inched forwards. Alex leaned back, falling down on a bouncy floor. He felt like a caged animal, a weapon just inches away. He could no longer feel the crowbar, however, so the weapon was even farther away. He took a deep breath and looked up at the screen again. The pug's eyeball was taken out. Alex's eyes widened in fear. A grin appeared on the screen, and he shouted through the tape. It was coming. The pug was dead, and it was coming for him. He had never owned a dog, but his uncle had one. It was terrifying, but the fact that something could take even that out spooked him. He didn't realize how violently he was shaking until he felt the crowbar buzzing underneath his foot. He tried to kick it up unsuccessfully. He heard footsteps, and backed up against the bouncy corner whilst sliding the crowbar towards him. It came into the room, indented the doorway, and slammed the door. Alex tiptoed towards the indent and kneeled, peering through the hole. He felt three areas pressure from around him, and turned around. He had subconsciously cloned himself three times. The clones moved back as he unlocked the door and they poured out behind him. A light blinked, and they all flinched. The clones had sliced the rope and tape with the crowbar, temporarily setting him free. He was expecting it to pop up soon, like in a game, but it never did... Until he went down to the next floor. It flung a knife at him, and his clones bravely defended him. He stared in horror, realizing who it was. The person that had tried to kill him, that had tried to trap him, that had killed the pug... It was a bionic penguin.

Suddenly it was all over, and he was somewhere else. He wiped his eye, for a tear was sliding down his face. He blinked and took a look at his surroundings. A masked man wielded an axe, slamming it into a car and grinning at the sound of screaming. Alex's eyes narrowed and he sped towards the masked man, once, twice, three times. He was up close and personal with the masked murderer. He was about to push the man off when he heard another scream. And then two more. He could go fast, but his clones couldn't. He grabbed the axe from the man, pushed the man off, pulled the person out of the car with difficulty, and cloned himself. The yellow car fell down the cliff, falling atop the man. He handed a clone an axe, and pointed to the highest car. The mountain they were on had too many unstable cliffs. His clones all fell, except for the one with the axe. A car had fallen. Alex almost sped towards the car, but then hesitated. He couldn't do anything about that. He wasn't Superman. He couldn't fly. He couldn't save everyone. Another tear slid down his face, but this time he didn't wipe it. He sped towards another car, saved another person, and got another axe. Tears were streaming down his face now and his jacket was barely on. He had to do it. Mass cloning. He closed his eyes, and cloned himself for as long as possible until he fell unconscious. The clones saved everyone else, however a few clones died in the process.

Alex woke up in the white room. He took a deep breath, and swallowed. The tears were real. He quickly wiped his face, not wanting to show weakness. He looked around. Their "leader" was growling. Elegant. He gave a small clap at the leader and another unknown person's "battle". It was intriguing, at the very least. He was still slightly shaken from the dream-ish-elixir-thingy.

*Flash*, Max eyes opened with him on the empty highway, wind rushing over his helmet. He looked down, he was sitting on top of his old bike. To his right a car pulled up, them both cruising beside each other, he felt to arms squeeze around his torso. "S..Sarah?" it had been years since he had seen her face let alone felt her. The car too their right began to rev and pull, she whispered in his ear "Drop a gear, and disappear". His face become solom and serious, it was all happening like that one night, he couldn't make the same mistake. He came off the throttle but the bike continued to accelerate, quickly gaining on the car, 130km/h....190km/h, 250km/h. He felt her grip him tighter, "I trust you" she said. As they came up beside the car they heard a loud explosion like noise. As Max turns back to look at Sarah, The tire burst on the car sending it into the bike..

*beep...beep...beep...beep..."

Max opened his eyes confused, the light was blinding, he appeared to be in a hospital. He glanced over him self from right too left. At first there was scaring, road rash, a broken rib when he made it to his left side, he noticed his left arm was missing. He started to to panic, heart rate monitor beeping out of control. Suddenly the room went black and all he could see was his bed and the small hospital television. In the background he could hear the roar of his bike; the television flicked to life a news channel playing at full blast

"This morning a rider was air lifted to the nearest hospital following an unfortunate accident, he is reported to be in stable condition but he passenger was not as lucky"

He grunted trying use the remote to change the change but it did nothing. The video changed to a replay of the accident, tires squelching with the sound of grinding metal all so loud. He threw the remote at tv, it bounced off frivolously. The reporter began to speak again. "One killed because of reckless biker". The anger was overwhelming, as he clenched his first the television began to spark, image flicking in and out; then in a flash the screen blew out in an explosive fashion.

Max woke up on the ground, his face serious but not in the same strong manner as before. It had been a few years since he thought back to the incident, He looked around the room, people waking up with all types of emotions, all he could do was sit..staring off into the distance, playing with the polymer over his left arm.

A young man, by the name of Brice, stands in the doorway of small house. In side he can hear the voices of a man and a woman speaking with someone. He walks through the house, looking at the eerily familiar paintings and antique collectables that line the shelves nailed onto the walls. As he continues, the voices become louder as he get closer to the source. He freezes at a door and finds himself unable to move his legs. His head turns to see a mother and father with their son. Brice's face begins to light up at the sight of the three. The parents bring the boy over to an electrical outlet on the wall and the woman places her hand on it. The man then hands her a kind of light bulb and as it enters her hand, it lights up. The boy is ecstatic at the sight and goes to reach for the bulb. The woman takes her hand off of the outlet and hands the bulb to the boy. He takes it and moves his hand toward the outlet. Brice's happiness turns into horror as he realizes what is happening. He tries to cry, but, try as he might, he can't seem to make a sound. Everything seems to slow as the boy's hand comes in contact with the outlet. The bulb in his hand lights up, but begins to flicker. Suddenly it bursts, letting loose a discharge of electricity. One bolt finds it's way to the boy's neck as it tears at the tender flesh. Not being able to channel the electricity to a proper source, the boy writhes in pain as he tries to remove his hand from the wall. Electricity is now flying everywhere from the boy's body, searing walls and flooring and setting nearby furniture ablaze. The mother runs to grab the boy as the father runs outside to seek shelter. Suddenly everything does dark and all Brice can see is the woman. Tears well up in Brice's eyes, seeing her face. A bolt of lightning strikes down.

Brice shoots up, tears streaming down his face. He brings his hand up to his neck and feels his scar. He closes his eyes and mutters to himself. "Never again..."

Axle sighs, "Seems like most of you are all back to reality. Most of you did marvelous." He spoke in a hard tone, his deep mysterious eyes scanning over the clearly shocked teens. "May i also remind you that i have no control what you see. All of the remaining experiments and scientists have been tested with the Elixir, and i gave everyone a fair warning." The massive man stands in front of the group and makes eye contact with most of them. "Vina shall show where you all shall be stationed. All the belongings you brought along are there." Without another word the muscular man walks away from the seated teens. His black combat boots click against the pale marble floor loudly as he exits.

Vina's icy gaze scans over the group. She sighs, not enjoying being the only first generation in a room full of second generation youngsters. She types in a few things and the wall behind the teens lights up like a screen with all their names and their room numbers. "The first number of every dorm is the level, Like room 112, that's on the first level, door 112." She hesitates "Lunch is at twelve o'clock exactly." Without another word she as well slips away. leaving the teens to make conversation and find their rooms on their own.

Saul looks to the list and growls softly, he didn't enjoy sharing anything with anyone. He memorizes his room number before slipping out of the white room. He glances around, no sight of their precious leader or his younger sister. He examines the signs that are hanging from the ceiling, One arrow pointing right says 'Dorms'. The arrow to the left says 'Cafeteria'. Saul walks to the right, following the straight hallway lined with doors. At the end of the massive straight away hall way there are elevators, four of them to be exact. He pushes the up button, and waits for the doors to open.

Lily looks to the list and feels her heart stop slightly, She was roomed with Branden?! Lily bites her lower lip nervously and quickly slips out of the white room and into the bright lighted, cream colored area where no one really seemed to be. She slowly goes down the hallway to the right, not really remembering what her dorm number was.

Brandon and Chase moved out of their hug and looked for their room number. They both stared blankly when they realized they were in different rooms on different floors. With girls. Chase turned to Brandon, his face concerned. We'll be fine. It's not like we won't see each other during the day. And we have our telepathy. Brandon said telepathically, still staring at the room list. They followed two other teens to the door and glanced up at the signs. They reluctantly went to the dorms and up to the second level. Brandon watched Chase, who was staring straight ahead. They separated us. Didn't they know we were twins? You can't simply separate twins. Everybody knows that. Chase said telepathically, turning to Brandon. Brandon shrugged and slid down the wall into a sitting position. Chase sat next to him and they stayed there in silence for a while.

Saul finds his door, 125.. He shuts the door behind him and sighs. His bags were placed neatly on the right side of the room, while his dorm-mate's bags were on the left side. The muscular, yet lean teenager sits on his mattress. He starts to go through his stuff, before pulling out a photograph. He sighs heavily, the image showing him and his sister standing in front of their old house. She is smiling so bright.. she was so excited to move.. yet she never got to.. His throat stings as he swallows his sadness, stuffing the photo under his pillow yet his hand comes in contact with something cold and hard. He pulls his pillow back and freezes as he stares at a 45. pistol. Saul quickly stands up and moves his room-mate's pillow, an identical gun laid underneath. What in the fuck is this place so guarded for...

Lily is standing in the elevator awkwardly with the twins, her icy blue gaze at her feet. Once the elevator stops at the third floor she quickly gets off and starts looking for her dorm.. or their dorm should she say.. She eventually finds it and opens the door. The young blonde steps inside and walks to the left of the rather large room where her stuff is placed. She begins to examine the room, noting the large tv hung up above the door, and how the left side of the closet was hung with her clothes and the right was hung with his. She sighs, before beginning to unpack her bed sheets and comforter.

Abbey felt cold and lethargic but didn't say anything to anyone. She wasn't listening when the pair finished and left, she shivered and looked over to the bright light that indicated their dorming arrangements. She only cared about her room number and apathetically ignored the rest. She sighed softly and moved a piece of her hair away from her face as it dangled over her nose. She hugged herself and went onward to the elevators saying nothing to no one on the way there. She saw the twins and a girl stepping in and disappearing to wherever they were heading to and shortly after, waited for another elevator to open so she could do the same. It took a while but it arrived and she stepped in, singing to a tune she remembered long ago. "London Bridge is falling down, Falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, My fair lady." When she finished, she arrived and walked tentatively to her room. The door looked metallic but payed no heed as she slowly opened it and scanned around. "They probably all look the same..." She thought to herself. She walked over to a bed that she guessed was hers since her bag was on it. She slowly placed it next to her and morbidly sat down and rested her head on the cold soft pillow. She felt something hard and metallic underneath and as she flipped the fleecy head rest, a gun was found under it. Something clicked inside her and she froze on the spot. The air was chilly and eerily silent. It remained that way for a while until a scream of fervorous anger bellowed from the petite lass. She threw the 45 pistol straight across, hitting a mirror and shattering it into pieces. She shook a bit and inhaled deeply to regain her temporarily lost decorum. She pushed her stuff on the ground carrying little for the mess she created and tucked herself in, falling into another deep sleep.

A woman walks in silently as Abbey sleeps, quickly cleaning up the broken glass. The woman picks up the pistol carefully before placing it on the bedside table beside the sleeping lass.

Axle sighs, staring at himself in the body mirror in his room. He removes his shirt and begins to examine the scars on his body, running his fingers over the stab scars and the varies other scars that almost perfect his manly appearance. He doesn't know which of the teens are his apprentice. He dearly hopes its a female rather than male, as he is less attracted to the female body. He pushes the thoughts aside, how foolish. Even if it was a male he receives as an apprentice, he could never have a romantic relationship with him. He is their mentor, their leader, their teacher. Axle pulls on his black short sleeve shirt and walks into his bathroom to clean off.

Chase and Brandon simultaneously decided to go to their rooms. They gave each other a brief hug and Brandon pressed the button to call the elevator. Chase went down the hall until he found room 245. He opened the door slowly and was relived to see that his roommate wasn't there yet. He went over to the bed with his stuff on it and sat down on the edge. Something slid out from under the pillow and he picked it up carefully. His eyes widened as he realized it was a 45. pistol. He shoved it under the corner of the mattress so there would be another layer between him and it when he slept. They gave us a gun. Under your pillow, 45. pistol. He told Brandon, his 'voice' worried. He picked up his bag and looked through it, happy to see he had indeed remembered to pack a stack of books, enough to fill a small bookshelf. He was pretty sure he wouldn't have much time for reading, but there wasn't any harm in bringing them anyway.

Brandon hummed quietly while he waited for the elevator to reach his floor. He frowned when he got Chase's 'message'. He went to room 335 and opened the door cautiously, pausing when he saw the girl from the elevator. She's already here. He told Chase. Okay. What do you want me to say? Run? Chase replied. Brandon shook his head and didn't bother to reply as he went all the way into the room. He went straight to the bed with his things on it and pressed down on the pillow, trying to see if he had a gun too. Sure enough, he felt the tell-tale bump under the pillow. He rummaged through his bag without pulling anything out. He certainly didn't want the girl to see the video games he had brought along. He hadn't even told Chase. He knew he wouldn't get to play them, but they were very important to him and he didn't want them getting lost at home. He knew it was dumb, but it seemed important to bring them at the time.

Axle walked out of the bathroom in his room, steam flowing out like fog from a fairy-tail book. A back towel wrapped around his waist. He walked to the left of his room and pulled out another black tank top that was made of some sort of silk-like fabric. He grabbed a dark pair of sweatpants, getting dressed quickly he walk out of his room when a scent makes his skin crawl slightly. Feline. Axle growls very lightly, since canines smelt stronger than felines, he guessed the cat already knew of his presence. Who gives a canine shifter, an apprentice that shifts into a feline?! Axle walks down the hallway with walls made of strong glass with metal railing on the outside encase it breaks, walking silently in his black socks. He walks into the kitchen, before looking out into the living room when his gaze sees the small bundle of golden laying on the couch. Great, that's what we need. Cat hair on a couch that costs more than a house. Axle thinks sarcastically. He steps out and stares at the attempting to nap feline, "Nice to meet you too." Axle says sarcastically, gently rubbing the black towel against his damp hair, before letting it dangle around his neck.

Lily looks up from one of the books she had pulled out when Brandon walks in. Her cheeks ignite a deep burgundy color, and she quickly looks back down at her book to seem like she is still reading. Instead she just stares at one of the paragraphs, not reading yet thinking one-thousand miles per hour.
Did his pressure dream involve me? Probably not.. But why would mine involve him. Do him and i become.. a thing in the future? No no... thats not possible. No one has wanted to be a thing with me before. Ugh, why would he try to kill himself? Maybe it wasn't him.. It looked like him.. Fuck he's handsome. Stop it, Lily. Get a hold of yourself. She blinks a few times before forcing herself to read a quote over and over in her book.

“What is an "instant" death anyway? How long is an instant? Is it one second? Ten? The pain of those seconds must have been awful as her heart burst and her lungs collapsed and there was no air and no blood to her brain and only raw panic. What the hell is instant? Nothing is instant. Instant rice takes five minutes, instant pudding an hour. I doubt that an instant of blinding pain feels particularly instantaneous.”

John Green, Looking for Alaska

Brandon glanced over his shoulder at the girl sitting on her bed, reading. He didn't remember her name from the roommate list. Lily. Her name is Lily. Chase supplied, hearing his thoughts. Brandon frowned, not exactly thrilled that Chase had heard that. It's not like I really care. And if I did it would be just because she is my roommate. Brandon replied defensively. Chase frowned. Was his macho twin really looking at girls now? That was very bad. No, I'm not looking at girls. Brandon added, bending so low over his bag that he head was practically inside it. Stand up, turn around, sit down. Chase said, chuckling a little as he realized that he just made Brandon do a childish dance they used to do. Brandon turned around and sat on his bed, mentally glaring at Chase. Dude, I really could use a book right now.... Brandon said, wishing he had something to hide his face in. Use your shadows. Chase said, sending him the idea. Brandon smirked slightly, reaching into his bag like he was grabbing a book, he used his darkness to make the image of a book. He made it hover in his hand so it looked like he was holding a real book. You're welcome, Brandon. Chase said, opening a book of his own.

Lily glanced over and him and she sighs softly. Pushing herself against the wall and pulling her legs up against her chest as she continued to read ,Or mentally go haywire as she thought of of awkward this all was. Her gaze quickly flicked to him then back down at her book as she flicked a page quickly, the only sound in the room reminding her how quiet it is. Gosh.. He reads? That's attractive.. No, Lily. Oh.. What if he is thinking about me?.. Her body began to fade slightly with shyness as it always did when she got nervous or upset. She doesn't notice that he is beginning to go invisible as she is so deep in her thoughts.

Axle's eyes widen, and he smirks showing off a sharp canine tooth in doing so. He sighs heavily, and shakes his head. "
Great introduction, kid." He mocks lightly as he tosses the towel on the back of the couch. He leans against the glass window slightly, "Your room is down the glass hallway to the right, just so you know." His voice is deep, and rough. He snaps his gaze off the gray marble floor, and looks at Nico with his dark mysterious gaze, before walking into the kitchen without another word.
