Futuristic The Experiments

She smiled and immediately turned around to head towards up the stares. She walked over the still lying Saul with her head held high. "Hmph." She gave him as she walked past. She quickened her pace, dodging the few bodies that were still heading down the stairs expertly like a ballerina. She didn't hear the orders Vina gave to the flame thrower but she payed no heed as she made her up rather quickly. When she turned around making sure no one was following her, to her surprise the man who caused her that embarrassing display followed in suit who also speeding up to reach her. She turned her head away blushing from embarrassment as he finally caught up. "I'm Fine." She replied bluntly. "What are you doing here? Go back. I need to esca- I mean find my roommate, you'll only slow me down."

Saul raises an eyebrow and rolls his eyes at the smaller, smart-Alec girl. "I'm pretty sure you being in such a hurry to be where you want to be and not pay attention to your surroundings is going to slow you down more than i ever will." He shrugs. "Vina told me to follow you. She wants everyone to stick together so we can all leave this building." He smirks, "And frankly, even if i was slowing you down i'd rather struggle to follow around you then disobey that blonde. She scares me more than you scare me." He chuckles.

"I'm pretty sure you being in such a hurry to be where you want to be and not pay attention to your surroundings is going to slow you down more than i ever will." She finally looked over at him and scanned him thoroughly. "How witty of you." She sarcastically replied while attempting to speed up just to annoy him. "And to be fair, I am scared of that women as well. She gives me the creeps. Its as if she could stare into my soul or something." She looked back and pestered him to hurry up as she purposely ran faster to reach her dorm. When she arrived she unlocked it with finesse and closed it behind her making sure the Flame Thrower wouldn't get in. "A girl needs her privacy Flame Thrower. Be a doll and wait out there patiently." She rummaged for her bag and looked for the 45 she hid earlier. With her suit case in hand and with her gun on her side, she left the room without a single thought as she pushed past Saul when she opened the door and headed on another direction. "Thanks love, I can take it from here. Send my condolences to everybody else alright? And you might wanna cover your head again." Abbey opened her soft mouth and began to sing a rhythmic hymn using her powers to cast a spell on the boy. She sang an intricate note but the building shook again interrupting the girl from her singing. "Bloody hell, do they not know people are still in here?"

Saul stands outside the door and when she pushes past him. "Thanks love, I can take it from here. Send my condolences to everybody else alright? And you might wanna cover your head again." His eyes widen, then the building shakes breaking the trance. He narrows his gaze as her words repeat in his mind. He slowly follows after her, her deep blue eyes glimmering with confusing and his expression almost saddened. "You're leaving?" He asks, following a bit quicker. "You don't even know where we are, how could you possibly ever get anywhere? Plus, you're just a girl. What happens if someone tries to hurt you?" He questions. Then suddenly bullet spray through the covered window, light pouring in from the small holes. "Get down!" He hisses. He shoes her against the wall, using one of his arms to keep her in place as bullets cruise through the air in front of them and hit the wall on the other side of the corridor. "Who are these people?" He mutters under his breath.

Suddenly one loud bang as something hits the weakening metal that covers the window. Then another bang. Suddenly a man kicks his way through the metal and into the corridor with the pair. The man brings up his gun. "
Got two in the east side." He speaks through a microphone Saul guessed was in the helmet the protects his head. The man hesitates, "Yes sir." a response to an order. The man raises his gun toward Abbey, finger on the trigger. Then came the gentle squeeze.

In one swift movement Saul shoves Abbey to the ground, And raises his hand to the man. A sudden burst of flames and the man was tossed back and hit the wall, unconscious.

Saul stands just behind Abbey, gripping his shoulder tightly as the blood pouring down his arm drips onto the white marble flooring. He groans in agony as he feels the hot lead burning through his flesh.

Abigail kept her small pace slow followed by jolts of speed as she tried her best to find another exit. "This isn't a place for me Flame Thrower. No matter how luxurious a prison can be, its still a prison nonetheless." She replied pausing when she heard him coming for her and shortly looked over. "I am a women worth reckoning mind that. Look what I did to you a couple of seconds ago, trust me I could do more." She winked. As she began to turn around, a bullet whizzed past her, freezing the poor girl in place as the force blew a few strands of hair back. Thankfully she was whisked and moved to safety by a strong forearm that held her in place on the side wall. She watched in fright as more came forth, spraying the window with metallic bullets that transformed it into a glass like swiss cheese. He heard Saul mutter something and she looked at him with fright. "I thought this was a rescue..." She looked back at the glass as it exploded into millions of fragments forcing a small shriek from the petite girl. A man emerged armed with a gun as he said "Got two in the east side." Followed by a "Yes sir." but she ignored it completely as she watched in horror of how he expertly aimed his gun straight for her. "I'm going to die." She then felt a tug back falling ungracefully towards the ground as Saul shields her from the bullet. She looked in fright screaming "FLAME THROWER!" as he received the impact of the bullet meant for her whilst spewing out flames of his namesake. She rushed behind him gripping his shoulders as she weeped in tears. "You idiot." She looked at the wound and her hands trembled. She looked towards the direction of the stairs and whispered "Help. Second Floor. Near room 267." concentrating with all her might as she attempted to maneuver her voice towards Vina's and the Other's. She didn't know what to do, she heard once long ago that you had to apply pressure but where and how much? Did it hit a vital artery? Was his whole hand numb? Broken? She sighed in confusion and frustration but carefully helped him up. "Flame Thrower, listen to me, we need to go back with the others..." She said with her voice wavering. It's all my fault. She thought. If I wasn't so naive... She brushed it off knowing it was to late to correct it now. "I'm sorry Flame Thrower..." She whispered, clutching tightly on his shoulders.

Saul withered in pain as she began to try to put pressure on his wound, his blood covering her hands made him feel sick. I'm just glad it's my blood.. "It's not that bad.." He groans as she begins to help him to his feet, his blood dripping onto the white marble flooring. He can hear her speaking but he can't register her words, yet her voice makes him smile. "Glad you're still with us Blondie." he says deeply, his voice trembles with agony and he looks toward her. Flame Thrower.. He sighs heavily as his vision becomes blurred and his world starts to lightly slow down, causing him to stumble slightly.

Vina's gaze flicked toward the stair case when she thinks she hears what is Abbey's voice wanting help. "
Something's wrong." She begins to climb the stairs, "Everyone who is able to, follow me!" She orders. She hurries up the steps when she spots Abbey clinging to a bleeding Saul. She runs toward them and looks to Abbey, "Hurry, give me two pare shirts, One random and the other preferably long sleeve and stretchy." She make shim sit against the wall, and starts to put pressure on his wound, and he groans loudly in agony.

The first floor is surprisingly even more crowded than Brice had anticipated. "Somebody! Can somebody please help!?" Brice keeps looking around looking for someone who might be able to help Lily.

Axle felt himself being picked up and moved into the safety of the building, he clung to Nico's fur weakly, before the teen shifted and the two hit the ground with a thud. Axle withered in agony, but then the scientists came forward, barking orders at one and other and quickly starting to stop the bleeding in both of the men. Working quickly they give both the boys a massive shot in their thigh, injecting them with an icy liquid that quickly went through their heart, giving it an extra boost of strength. One of the scientists comes back with a purplish liquid in a vile, dripping it into Axle's thigh made him scream in agony, his hands gripping for the tiles. Yet seconds later black liquid began to ooze out. Liquid lead. This new compound was specially formulated to liquefy and make the liquid lead come out of the wound without causing long lasting damage to the patient.

Axle can feel with burning as the scientists begin to stitch up thigh and anywhere else he needs stitches, the needle hot and the thread feels like metal. Once he's fully patched up the scientist uses a white device that looks something like a fancy razor, yet when he gets it close to Axle's skin it burns him. Axle arches in agony and growls as the device burns his skin together.

With one final shot the boys are beginning to feel normal, slowly but surely.

Axle's word stops spinning and being a black haze. He looks to Nico and growls loudly, carefully crawling over to him. "
You stupid kid." Axle growls though gritted teeth as tears stung his dark eyes. He risked his life for me... He voluntarily saved me.. He went against orders... Axle knew now wasn't the time to discipline Nico.

Lily sat against the wall, one of the scientists came over. "
I.. Fell.. I got kicked quite a few times." The man nodded before taking a syringe and stabbing it into her ribs. She screamed in agony, tears welling in her eyes as the hot liquid corpses over her ribs and begins to numb the pain. She tilts her head back against the wall and whimpers slightly, sighing in relief.

Yulani sprints towards a large crowd of people before practically shoving her way through, she needed to find the others despite there being imminent danger close ahead. She nearly screams as a nearby window shatters, glass raining onto the floor and flattens herself against a nearby wall as people rush past her in waves before continuing down the hallway. She recalls a few faces from the earlier simulation and would be certain of them if she came across them, she screams impossibly loud as she is lifted from the ground and slammed against a wall. Pain reverberates through her body as slender fingers grip her throat, cutting off her circulation, she wills herself to look at the attacker. Blue eyes apparent through some form of mask, cold and detached. The man is emitting no emotions, that can't be possible unless he's suppressing them intentionally, she struggles briefly before allowing her eyes to close..

Focus.

Focus on his emotions.

Focus.

Annoyance/anxiety/fear/triumph.

She channels them, releasing the panic as the hands grip only tighter before mixing them with other variations of the feelings apparent in the building, one of them being the most effective of all:

Pain.

As if a switch has been clicked, the man releases his hold and instantly drops to the floor, clutching the sides of his face in silent agony. A scream rips out from within her, not belonging to her but to him, and she watches as silver fluid flows freely out his ears before he collapses. She watches him die.

Yulani stares at the dagger gripped tightly in her hands, why hadn't she used it? Why had she done that? She is interrupted as the building shakes violently and she sets off to find the others.

Brice is surprised and angered when the scientists stabs Lily with the needle, but eases up when he see that she seems to be feeling better. He goes to sit down next to her and turns to the scientist. "Is she going to be alright? I think her ribs might be broken."

Abbey smirked a tad bit when Saul made a remark of his pain not hurting but later groaning as she helped him up. "I beg to differ Flame Thrower." They staggered a bit as blood continued to drip from his arm. She applied pressure as best as she could having little knowledge in treating others with a major injury but in her opinion, she did well in a situation like that. "Glad you're still with us Blondie." He said. Abigail paused briefly and smiled under her falling hair but said nothing as she continued her effort in keeping the poor boy alive. "They'll be here at any moment... just hold on... please." Her voice wavered, even cracked as she watched Flame Thrower drift into unconsciousness. "I have you, don't go out on me now..." She whimpered, frantically looking back scanning for support. Finally help arrived in the guise of the unemotional woman. Formidable as always she took the matter in her own hands and began barking orders towards Abbey in which she heeded immediately. She scanned her bag, rummaging for the supplies Vina needed to treat the boy. She made a forceful grunt as she looked for the second shirt Vina needed. Finally it dawned to her that the shirt Abbey was wearing was the one the woman needed. In seconds, she stripped herself of the shirt in watched helplessly from the side. "Its my fault, its my fault, its my fault..." Abbey kept mumbling towards Vina. "I am so sorry..." She tearily confessed as she hugged herself from the sudden chill.

It was a strange feeling, floating in a soft, impenetrable blackness, a single consciousness separated from his body, yet it was an undeniably peaceful one. He was too exhausted to go back, anyway. He let his mind wander freely over the distant blur of his memories, muted and calm. But there was a sudden cold stinging somewhere in the darkness outside of his bubble of consciousness. If he could have felt his face, he would have frowned. What is that?

The injection hit him like a battering ram right in the chest, dragging him all the way back into reality, back to the pain, the overpowering smell of blood and the screaming. A shudder ran all the way down his spine, eyes snapping open. He instinctively tried to move his arm, but pain lanced through his shoulder and the side of his chest, so he immediately stopped, hissing quietly. Nico had never had a high pain threshold, and that fact certainly hadn't changed now. Scared to move, all he could do was lie there, vision swimming in and out of focus as the doctors prodded and poked at his injuries. He whimpered softly at the harsh stinging sensation as his wounds were cleaned as best as they could, before a needle went into his arm and the stitches went in. He only needed a few, but it still hurt like nothing else he had felt before.

As the doctors drew back for a second, speaking to each other although he couldn't hear the words, he became suddenly aware of the wet stickiness of his clothes. He new exactly what it was, and the very thought of it made him feel sick. He had lost his beanie somewhere, too. Suddenly, he was too tired, a wave of exhaustion washing over him. He silently begged for the doctors not to come back, to let him drift away into unconsciousness again. Life was too difficult, too painful right now. He didn't want to be here. Yet he was granted no such thing. The sudden agony kept him anchored firmly in reality, despite his instinctive attempts to twist and writhe in an attempt to get away. He didn't even know what they were doing, but all he knew was that it hurt, badly, and he wanted it to stop. And after what seemed like days, it did. He was left shivering on the floor, his mind trying to make sense of what had happened to his body. All he knew was that he could no longer feel hot blood running steadily down his sides as it had been doing before. They must have cauterised it or something, he thought foggily. For what felt like a long time he lay there, slowly recuperating. The injection helped.

"You stupid kid."

He turned his head, eyes alighting on Axle in sudden relief. When he had collapsed earlier, he could only hope that he had actually got there. It seems like he did. For a strange moment he wanted to hug him.

Nico grinned weakly, yet it was a triumphant one.

"Woof." he barked softly, eyes twinkling faintly in exhausted amusement. Was now the time to be teasing him? Probably not. But he did it anyway.

So much blood. So much fear. So much pain. It all needed to be released somehow and Yulani could feel it surging through every bone in her body, thrumming with energy. She returned to the area where she had originally been before, striding down the hallways with a renewed purpose. If she could, she would assist those who needed it and help rid the facility of the intruders, the energy here had been enlarged somehow and helped greatly towards her abilities. She often didn't like to admit it but pain somehow seemed to contribute far better than she had assumed.

(Where are you guys at? I read the earlier comments but it didn't say..)

Brandon and Chase followed Axle's sister up a flight of stairs where they saw a girl and an injured boy. When the girl took off her shirt both boys looked away then hurried back downstairs. Brandon went over to the main door and saw dozens of beasts fighting. We should help. He said, looking back at Chase. Suddenly the wall beside Chase collapsed and a couple guys dressed in black and carrying guns appeared. Chase grabbed the nearest guy's gun and elbowed him in the chest. Chase winced when his elbow hit something hard. The guy twisted Chase's wrist and he relased his hold on the gun. The man held the gun to Chase's head, but Brandon ran over and knocked it away. The second guy grabbed Brandon's arm and pulled him backwards until he tripped. The guy straddled Brandon and began rapidly punching him in the face. Chase charged the man on Brandon and threw him to the floor. Brandon coughed, wiping blood from his mouth. Chase quickly knocked out one of the guys with a punch to the temple. The other guy went for Brandon, who curled up to protect himself. Chase pulled him off and winced as the man pulled a knife and cut into his leg. Brandon put the man in a headlock, cutting the man's air supply off until he passed out. Brandon went over to Chase, who was kneeling on the floor. Are you okay? Brandon asked, pulling Chase up. Chase nodded then looked up and saw Brandon's face. Where is the blood coming from? Chase asked, looking around for a medic. I think it's my nose. Brandon said, wincing a little. Chase nodded and tore a piece of fabric from his shirt. Use this to stop the flow a little and pinch the bridge of your nose. I think the medics are over there. He said, motioning further into the building. He guided Brandon over, limping on his cut leg. A medic easily took care of their injuries and hurried on to help someone else. We should find some of the others and make sure they are okay. Brandon said, walking to where they had last seen the other teens.

The building trembles again, the battle outside still raging. Axle watches as dust falls from the ceiling. This building won't hold much longer.. The muscular man slowly gets to his feet despite the protest of one scientist and the light throbbing in his head due to his lac of blood. He sighs, and shakes it off. He grabs Nico's wrist tightly in his grip and pulls the young lad to his feet. "We have to get out of here, Now." He mutters under his breath into Nico's ear. "I need you to help me. You cannot shift anymore, so you need a gun." One of the scientists quickly hands them one, "I don't need it.." The look in the man's eyes was dark, he knew his fate. He knew everyone's fate if they stayed in the building much longer. Axle takes the gun before putting it into Nico's hand. "Its us or them." He growls softly. He gestures with his head to the right, guessing everyone was near the back of the first level.

Axle quickly walks back there, and spots Brice and Lily. He kneels beside lily and hears Brice. "
If they are broken, there isn't much we can do besides give her medication and keep her from injuring herself further." he looks to the man who had given Lily the shot, He nods and quickly fumbles through his lab coat, before pulling out a small container of blue pills. Axle opens it and gives one to Lily, "Take one of these each morning, It will speed the process of healing." He orders, before dropping the closed container in her lap.

Axle looks to Nico, "
Lets find the others." He stands up and looks around to see if he can spot anyone.

Lily sighs heavily, her ribs sore yet the pain is numb. She listens to Axle, and nods once he finishes his orders. She swallows one pill, and shivers slightly in disgust.

Vina begins to clean off the would with the first shirt, it quickly becoming stained with Saul's crimson blood. "
Explain to me what happened." She says to Abbey without looking to her. Vina pulls off her backpack and unzip it. Taking out a yellowish liquid, she uses a tiny dropper, and puts a few drops into the bullet hole. In seconds Saul's eyes open and he screams in pure agony, the liquid burning like acid in his wound. He withers and his skin begins to heat up, his fingers sparking as he growls and groans in pain. It only takes about ten seconds before blackish gray begins to ooze from his wound. He huffs and grunts, feeling the stinging begin to subside.

Vina wipes the wound clean before beginning to stitch him up. Using a clean needle and fire-resistant wire as thread. Saul growls softly with every needle prick. Then its over. Saul lays on the floor, stitched up and barely bleeding. "
Alright. We are almost done." Vina pulls out a syringe filled with a light blueish purple substance. She stabs it into his arm, and Saul recoils in shock. He sighs heavily as he feels the icy liquid traveling through his body making goosebumps rise on his skin. He inhales deeply, and his gaze begins to focus. He blinks a few times, before looking to Vina and then to Abbey. He tries to move but pain shoots up his shoulder and he grimaces. Vina sighs, "Don't move your arm, the bullet most likely cracked the bone." Saul slowly sits up straight, so Vina and begin to make a makeshift sling for his arm out of Abbey's shirt. Saul glance to Abbey and then notices that she isn't wearing a shirt. His tan cheeks flush a deep red and he looks away, back to the marble flood smeared with his blood.

"What. What do you mean? Go find the others? What the hell is going on?!" Brice stands up in front of Axle, demanding to know what it happening.

Axle stares at Brice, "Are you blind?" He growls. "Encase you haven't been able to tell, we are being attacked! This building is being bombed and it can't handle much more. I have to group everyone before we are all killed from this building collapsing." Axle snaps, with that he spots Brandon and Chase standing by the stairs, Axle walks away from Brice without another word and approaches the teens. "I need you two, to stand with Brice and Lily. Stay with them." he orders, before hurrying up the stairs, once he saw Vina, Abbey, and Saul he ran over. "Holy shit." He mutters as he sees the blood, and watches as Vina finishes her makeshift sling for Saul. "Alright, As much as I'd like to ask what happened we need to escape this building, Now." He glances to the stairs, then to Saul. "Lean on Abbey if you have to, but we need to hurry."

Another violent shake and part of the ceiling falls on the unconscious man near the window. The marble flooring begins to crack and Axle looks to Nico, then the others. "
Hurry!"

Saul slowly stands up, quite dizzy and sore. He falls against Abbey slightly, "
Sorry.." He mutters, leaning on her a bit before beginning to hurry after Axle yet he is too dizzy to walk alone and stumbles slightly and leans against the wall. Watching as Vina hurries after her brother.

Yulani braces herself as the building shakes once more, skidding along the floors in her rush to find the others. She feels a sudden urge to collapse and stumbles, tears welling up in her eyes and she knows... knows that she won't last long due to how overwhelming things have become.

"Don't get too overcome, if that happens things go bad..if you can't handle all of the thoughts, leave immediately." She can still recall the placid tone of her mother's voice, the concern apparant on her face, she can still picture the mind-numbing cacophony of sound and light..

Yulami braces herself before standing upright, fighting the all-consuming need to surrender. She slowly trudges down the hallway, the sounds of death and violence fading into nothingness, as if she were submerged under water.

She calls out, slightly afraid when she is unable to hear her own voice. She needs to leave this building. Now.

Axle is hurrying down the stairs when he hears Yulani's cry for help. Second floor. Quickly he looks to Nico, "Bring all of them back downstairs to Brice, and Lily. Hurry and do that." He orders before entering the second level and hurrying to find Yulani. Once he finds her he grabs her wrist. "Hurry, we don't have much-" Suddenly the building gives another violent shake and Axle struggles to stay up right. The ceiling above them begins to crack and give way in areas. He quickly swoops Yulani off her feet and runs toward the stairs. Once he reaches the stairs he puts her on her feet and quickly leads her down to the first level.

Yulani had been both surprised and pleased at Axle's sudden appearance, feeling lightheaded as he sweeped her off her feet with no hesitation and placed her at the beginning of stairs. Around her the walls distort, the floor seeming much too close for comfort, and the air feeling too thick to breathe. She follows Axle obediently, her mind registering that they are returning to the first level as the world echoes around her, around them ceiling plaster is falling steadily and Yulani quickens her pace despite feeling on the verge of falling. This place will explode and there will be casualties, with casualties comes sorrow and grief, pain and regret, and various other unwanted feelings. Yulani could only hope that not many would be lost to the impact.

Brandon and Chase nodded obediently when Axle told them to stick with two of the other teens. As they went over, Brandon realized it was his roommate, Lily. He stopped, not wanting to go over looking the way he did. Chase grabbed his shirt and made him keep walking. Just as they reached Lily and Brice, the building shook again. They stumbled a little, but regained their balance. Brandon looked at Lily and saw she was hurt. He looked at Chase worriedly. We should get her out. She's hurt. He said, glancing at her. No, Axle told us to stay here. And I'm not blind, I can tell that she is hurt. Chase said, looking down. Now didn't exactly seem like a good time to introduce themselves, so they weren't sure what to do.

Luca had remained quiet for the past hour or so. Her dream had been so dreadful that it had shocked her into silence, just relieved to know that it had been nothing more than that - a dream. She had seen terrible things, and she wished she would never have to revisit them again, but as she woke, stood, and followed Vina to her dorm with some other kid who she didn't quite catch the name of, the contents of the dream replayed over and over again in her head. She watched and rewatched her body bursting into silent flame and slowly disintegrating as the ashes floated away. She remembered how the dream-Luca had tried to smother the fire as calmly as she could, but she couldn't stop the swelling of the flames around her body. Her panic level grew until she breathed in nothing but ash and dust, and then the dream faded into something else. This time everything was blurry. She heard the small voice of a cat, maybe even only a kitten. It cried in distress and she stumbled towards it through the darkness. The cat's caterwauls became more and more desperate but they seemed to be coming closer, and she tripped on her feet. Something was hurting the animal but she was powerless to stop it.

And then she had woken up. She spent the walk to the dormitory only partially invested in what her leader had told her. It probably didn't really matter anyway. She could always figure it out along the way...hopefully. She didn't speak to her roommate, didn't feel the need to. She didn't even notice when he left the room. Had it not been for the mysterious black-clad strangers rappelling down the face of the building, she probably wouldn't have noticed for a very long time. She suddenly found it hard to breathe. Her chest was crushed with fear, and she couldn't process anything. What the hell was happening here?

She pried open the window and jumped through it, landing harshly and rolling her ankle. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to jump, but she hadn't heard any announcement so she couldn't be sure. Luca ran as quickly as she could away from the building, though she kept in the parking lot so she might be able to find the others. She crouched behind a light pole so as to not be seen.

A sour taste of compunction forming in Abigail's throat prevented the lass from answering. She remained their stoic, clutching on her arms as she dug her nails painfully deep into her skin. She felt horrible. She felt like she was the cause of Sual's misfortune. It was as if someone was playing a cruel trick on the poor girl but yet she knew it was not the mischievousness of another, but her actions alone. If I hadn't...The building trembled again shaking the girl and prompting her to finally confess.

She sighed deeply and began. "I- It all happened so fast that I had barely enough time to fully asses the whole situation. They- that man over there- came out of the glass after he volleyed it with bullets and shortly aimed his gun right at me. He wanted to kill me. I thought he was resc- I mean someone else but-but no. Thankfully Flame Thrower here..." She paused lifting her head to gaze at Saul "...saved me by being an obstruction to his line of fire and ultimately taking the hit whilst saving the both of us." She smiled as she retold the story but then darkened as she continued. "Then... Then he fell..." She paused again uttering no word. A tear rolled down from her eye and she sniffled. "I must confess... It-It was my fault after all. If I had just listened to you earlier... none of this would not have happened..." She left the part of trying to escape out, knowing she couldn't bare to witness the disappointment of Vina as she cried silently in place. By the time she finished, Abbey looked up seeing that she wasn't done yet. Her hands tightened as she watched helplessly from the side. His groans and jolts of pain were unbearable to her ears so she turned away facing the wall not being able to stomach the procedure being done on the injured lad. When it was all over, a sigh escaped her chapped lips not for herself but for them both. Vina then injected him with some liquid that brought the Flame Thrower as if back to life, triggering an immediate response from Abbey to crawl to his side. He tried to move his arm but grimaced at the pain. It seemed to be broken. When he spotted her, he shyly turned away forcing a small light laugh from the girl. "Don't get bashful on me now Flame Thrower..."

"Holy Shit." Someone muttered from behind. Abigail looked over and saw Axle looking worse for wear. "I could say the same for you..." She replied back, her sassiness coming back. She listened carefully and assisted Saul in getting up. The pair stumbled and she heard him say sorry but she smiled and said "I've gotcha." They both leaned on the wall. "Come on Flame Thrower, I know your stronger than this." Another shake erupted throughout. "How strong is this building?" She quipped.

"Lily," Brice kneels down in front of Lily, looking to see if she had been injured any further. "Do you think you can walk? "

Axle looks to Abbey as he helps guide both she and Saul down the stairs. "Not very much stronger. We need to leave, now. I have a way." He hurries them onto the first floor where Lily, Brice, Nico, the twins and the rest of the second generation are. "Come, this way." He leads them into the cafeteria, its completely empty. He jogs toward the back, pushing through one iron door when he stops in his tracks. Blood is smeared everywhere, and a pair of firs generation lay on the ground dead. Their murderer standing over them. The killer wore white armor, and seemed to be less than human. More AI, like Vina. The 'man' turns toward them and a small blue dot in the corner of his tinted visor turns a deep red. The man aims his gun, yet Axle works quickly. Shadows pour from his hands and travel over the floor like snakes. The shadows then wrap around the 'man's' hands, burning through his armor quickly. The shadows then make their way up into the helmet, then in seconds the guy drop dead. When he does a woman is standing behind him. Her white lab coat is stained with blood, and open unlike the other scientists within the building. She has her pistol aimed for the teens, yet she quickly pulls her gun back and looks to Axle. "Bailey.." Axle mutters slightly, yet his expression then turns to stone. The building trembles roughly and Axle begins to rush the teens out another iron door.

Bailey looks over some of the teens as they exit and notices they are injured, "
I can help. Let me come along.." She says. Axle hesitates, she can indeed help yet he also knows that she also wants to join to save her own life. Without replying Axle rushes the teens out the door and into the concrete area that resembled a parking lot yet was actually a landing pad for helicopters, cargo planes, and other aircraft to land. Bailey trailing after them quickly.

Axle leads them through the parking lot when he spots Luca, hiding behind one of the posts. "
Luca." He barks, "Get over here." Axle leads them all the a grass area, and up a rather steep bank that led into a forest.

Saul toughened up more once Abbey said something. He leaned on her less, but still had his body against hers. When they come to the kitchen, he stepped defensively in font of Abbey encase more bullets were to head her way.

Once they reach the steep hill he is slightly out of breath, still dizzy and weak. He struggles to gain footing on the hill, slipping slightly as he can only use one arm to grip at the slick grass.
