Strangely, the wifi here seemed to be better than at home, which surprised him since there were so many people in the school compared to his home--with only two people living in it. When Caspian finished up and left the dorm, Cooper put away his phone, "Great. Let's go."

He finally spoken up to avoid his wife's little scuffle. "Taylor, Apollyon, sorry for my rudeness, but I am not really in the talkative mood. But how are you both doing? And hello, Ms. Akane." he said politely as he could feel the angry energy pulse off of his wife. Things were going to get a whole lot worse if he could not restrain his wife. So he pulled out a small crystal encased in a device of some sorts. "I do apologize for this, anyone in the room with any kind of power, but this will cause some discomfort." he warned everyone who was not actively engaged in a heated debacle who was not clearly paying attention to him. He triggered the device and immediately a wave of euphoria washed over him and the room. The device was a personal project of his. One made to keep his wife and daughter's powers in check, but he found it had an interesting side effect. It sent waves of small pleasures through those within range, enough to overwrite the heightened emotional states, and replace it with a calmer, more sedate feeling. He really hoped never to use it, as it tends to make him lose critical focus until the device powers down after a few seconds.

She could not help but slump back in her chair as the food was being served. She wanted to rage, and destroy Thetis, but she could not find the will or energy to. She tried to look over at her husband, but could bare think straight enough to put two thoughts together. "Oh. This looks delightful." she said softly as the now unlit pipe fell from her hands.

She nearly lost it, when her head began to swim. It was as if she ate an entire lotus for herself. This stupor she resented the most, but could not make herself become angry as her plate of food was set before her. "Why?.." was the only thing she could squeak out.

"Dude, turn it off now!" he said as his head was on fire. Every cell in his body was screaming at him to get away, but he could not even manage to draw a gun. The device powered down and his mind settled. "Totes uncool, man." he said as he tried to regain composure.

Taylor looked at Randall with a confused look. "Coming to a social event without the intention to socialize is weird bro. On the matter of your question, I'm fine. Seeing as how I'm surrounded by my friends, I can say I've never been better actually." As he picked up his glass, he had to quickly put it down or he'd drop it since Randall activated that device. "You're so wrong man..." He said under the influence of the device. 


Akane -


Akane sat unaffected. Her Sanctum genes keeping her unaffected by it. She knew what was causing her friends to be in the situation they were in and planned to destroy the device if he didn't turn it off... Soon enough he did and the two were okay and Beatrice stopped her bitching and Thetis was quiet. Once her food arrived, she silently began eating. 


Taylor - 


"Remind me never argue around you." Taylor said as he raised his hand a little. He heard the arguing come to a stop and he was content with the new calm environment.

Caspian smiled lightly as they exited the dorm rooms into the brisk cold, "The place is in the park close by to here, takes a couple of minutes," She said with a smile before she started walking. After a couple of minutes they arrived at the place, their was barely anyone in the restaurant as it was after hours, two staff memebers and seven people being served, "Excuse the lack of people, it's after hours. And it seems Elisa isn't here... Oh well, i'm sure she'll be back shortly, but first let's get out of this cold..." She said shivering a bit before she entered the restaurant, "You coming inside?" She asked Cooper from inside the restaurant.

Not wanting to be in debt to anyone, and having knocked this girl over accidently, it used its telekinesis to lift her and her candles up out of the snow and set her right. "You should be careful. Not alot of nice people in this world." it said as it brushed itself off. "Are you okay?" it asked her as it snacked on the candy cigarette.

Elisa was slightly surprised as she was lifted off of the ground, her candles being placed back into the bag and laid on the ground, "I know that too well..." She said in an extremely low tone replying to his statement before he asked his question, "Oh... Uhm, yes, thank you..." She said with a smile before she reached out her hand, "Elisa Darthwell, and sorry about bumping into you..." She said with a sad like laugh.

Rosalie puffed out her cheeks "Get it out of you. That seems like a lot of work. What if I just ask nicely, then will you say?" She asked as she then smiled. Her eyes drifted to the note that was slid under the door. "Does anyone use phones here or is it all just notes below doors" she asked before she noticed Zac's expression. Staring between him and the note she then furrowed her brow ever so slightly "Everything okay?...I'm guessing that letter said something you didn't like.."

Zac smirked lightly, "Nup, you'll have to force it out of me," He said lightly kissing Rosalie, "Sadly, some do, but most use the letters since well... The place hasn't changed much in the past 73,000 years..." He said sighing lightly. Looking back at the letter as she asked her question the look of annoyance came back, "The letter said, "Hey! How was the fuck?" You can tell my brothers are great..." He said with another light sigh.

Alex nearly jumped back when the boy took up a fighting stance, but she managed to keep a hold of herself; if she backed down now, she could get walked over all year.  "I was looking."  She snapped back as she looked over him.  He was carrying an overstuffed backpack and had a map of some sort, probably of the school.  Another new student probably, especially considering he was around the same age as her.  Maybe just a tad older?   Still, the fact that he only had the bag probably meant he was not only pretty poor, but hadn't even moved in yet.  Getting lost would make him frustrated...


The boy's voice brought Alex back to the task at hand.  As much as she wanted to prove herself, it was probably best to disarm the situation if he was going to be this jumpy.  Besides, she needed to make contacts here.  Step one, bring yourself to their level, "Ah... yah, just getting used to the bedding here," She said, keeping herself calm despite the boy's outburst.

Upon reaching the dorm, she opened the door and held it open for Alejandro. "Entre vous" she said to him as she led him to her room, past girls coming too and fro in various states of dress. Cat calls and shrieks followed them as she unlocked her door. "Please set them on the desk." she said depositing her load next to the desk, and then moving to remove her sweater. Once comfortable she moved to the little kitchen like area and began to brew some tea. "How do you take your tea?" she asked as random girls poked their heads into the room, just to see what the fuss was about.

He stepped inside, and could immediately smell the perfumes and scented lotions and candles. It was really different from the boy's area... It usually smelled of gym socks and sweat... Not Alejandro's dorm of course. He cleaned up well. Sighing lightly, he made his way pass the girls, waving nervously to them as he went along. He quickly entered the dorm, still sensing girls nearby as they crowded by the door to see what was going on. Placing the bags in the table, he turnef around and he could recall seeing a few in class. He looked at them and was caught off guard and immediately blushed before answering Giselle, "I'm not picky, so I'll just have what you are."

She sighed.  Step two, present an offering.  She could see that he was clutching that map quite tightly; certainly frustrated, maybe even desperate?  Was he really having this much difficulty finding the dorm?  Granted, it was a big campus, but Alex couldn't help but smirk.  "I see you're new too."  She said, glancing down at the map.  "What, are you lost or something?"  She wanted to just point him to the dorm and be done with him.  However, having someone this rowdy as a friend could be useful; grenades are messy, but they get the job done.

She had laid out some cookies on a tray with the tea service. She carried the tray to the small table she used primarily as a coffee table. Setting the tray down, she pours him a cup of hot tea, then herself. "I am sorry my room is plain, but I tend to only collect clothing." she apologized for her rooms lack of flair.
