Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

As Gail flips through the pages of her history book, remembering some of the events described in the pages like the back of her hand, she sighs somewhat...not bored, as such, but as if life could be more interesting. Soon after she thinks this, however, she hears a familiar voice call her name. She looks around, her short etheric blue hair flushing side to side with the movement, as a smile bursts onto her pale face, seeing who it is. "Ren!" She calls with vigor, her voice echoing unnaturally when she shouts for him, as she puts her book away into her bag. The bag was incredibly plain - no more than a simple leather satchel that clearly didn't cost much for her to buy. Luckily for her, Gail's new roommate was more than happy to pay for the bag since she doesn't carry her own money. Gail hasn't used money in so long, she almost forgot what it was like, and necessary it was, to have some money.

After the book disappears into one of the many pockets of the bag, which was clearly filled with multiple books of varying subjects, she gently floats over to Ren with a happy smile on her face. "Hi!", she says with a chirp in her voice, "what's up?"

LUMINA
The alarm buzzed loudly next to Luminas head. Groaning, she reached up her hand, slapping it until it stopped. Blinking, she looked at the time, slowly remembering that there was school again today. And, that she had spent the night at Kenji's house. A small blush found her cheeks as her eyes fell on the sleeping figure next to her. Honestly, she spent more time here than at her own dorm that she accidentally kind of loved here instead of there. She enjoyed it, but never really thought to bring it up. Sure they were engaged, but asking to move in seemed a bit...presumptuous? Either way, she figured that if she left early, she could spend some time in the library before class. Maybe they would have some books on phoenixes as well. Yeah Kenji said he'd look into that with her, but she didn't want to impose too much. Lumina lightly kissed Kenji on the forehead before quietly slipping out of bed and getting dressed, making it out of the estate in less than 15 minutes. The air was crisp and fresh, perfect for flying in. With a flap of her wings, Lumina was in the air and making her way toward the school, holding her backpack against her stomach. Soon enough she reached the school, just as the first wave of students began to arrive. Lumina landed lightly, slinging her backpack on her back as she walked into school. She waved to a girl she had met in her history class the day prior as she walked into the library, grabbing a few books that looked interesting and promising. Glancing at the clock, Lumina sighed when she realized that she didn't have enough time to sit and read before class. Another look at her schedule confirmed where she had to go. Stuffing the books in her bag, the blonde girl quietly entered the class where the teacher was already waiting, dressed in a strangely fancy dress. Thankfully, there was an empty seat near the back of the class. She preferred to sit in the back where her wings wouldn't block anyone's view. Once seated, Lumina pulled out her notebook and pencil, as well as one of the books from the library, planning on reading until the teacher started the class.

ASTRID
This guy was something else, for sure. Astrid knew that one misstep would mean the end for her, and she wasn't about to let that happen. She was good enough, or so she believed, to at least hold her own, even if she couldn't win. But she'd be damned if she didn't try. She managed to sneak a glance back up at the hilltop where Blue and Hyou were sitting before snapping her gaze back to her opponent. She guessed that he figured they all came together, so it wasn't a huge deal, not like she was giving away much anyways. They were just her teammates. Yeah. That's all they were. But bug-man seemed to think a bit too highly of himself for her liking. Astrid saw his attack and barely managed to roll off to the side out of way, righting herself soon after. Seemed she wouldn't be able to play around. Regaining her composure, Astrid ran around the ring a bit before charging up some energy in her sword. Turning her body, she began to run toward Perfect, releasing it as she swung it at him. Hopefully it would distract him enough to where she could get a few more strikes in.

ISUZU
Isuzu watched in amusement as the smoke cloud just carried away the huge amount of groceries that Fenris bought. As she watched them go, Fenris asked whose house they were going to. The girl looked at her own groceries, nodding her head toward them. "I think I should probably get this stuff home, so my house sounds good. It's an apartment, so it's not huge, but I think it'll be good for just the two of us to hang out in. I think the walls are soundproof?~" she winked before starting to walk in the direction of her home. She hoped he would follow. He was carrying her groceries after all. As she heard him speak again, she turned around to face him, walking backwards as she gave her response. "And the same goes for you. But it's not my fault you couldn't resist my charms~ I suppose today is a good a day as any to get to know each other, right?~" she smiled cutely at him before turning back around, not wanting to ruin the moment by tripping over something.

KANSUKE
So it was finally school day number 2. The first day seemed to pass by fairly uneventfully, minus the music class. He wasn't one necessarily seek out the spotlight, but wasn't going to refuse it if he was put there. So for the rest of the year, he was going to be student conductor on half of the songs, the other half joining the winds section on his ocarina. It was his first class of the day, which also meant seeing that girl again. There was something strangely familiar about her, though he had never seen her before as far as he was aware. It was like they had some long, crazy history between them, and that she was someone that was important to him, but Kansuke had no idea why. Walking into the school grounds, the pointy-eared boy adjusted his cap, which was being messed up by the breeze. With a nod, he began making his way toward the music classroom, remembering the teacher saying it was going to be held inside today.

KANON
Kanon awoke with a start. Her body jerked upward into an upright position, breathing hard at the sudden movement. Looking around, the raven-haired girl noticed she wasn't in the infirmary anymore. Sighing, Kanon rubbed her eyes. That's right, a few days after the incident at the infirmary, she woke up and made her way home, even with Yumi protesting. That was...a week ago. Achilles had visited, but...things were weird. They were still weird. She hadn't talked to him since...yesterday at least. It might have been longer, but Kanon wasn't sure. The days kind of blurred together. It was like she was living in a haze. Looking at the clock, it was nearly time for school to start. The date... ah. Right. It was...that day. Kanon didn't hear Yumi, so she guessed that the younger girl had already left for school. Of course it wouldn't really cross Yumi's mind about what day it was. She barely... well. Kanon felt everything seem to just drain out of her, leaving her feeling like an empty shell. School wasn't even an afterthought at this point. All that mattered was going there. Kanon managed to get herself out of bed, somehow get dressed, slip some shoes on and make her way out of her dorm, locking the door behind her. Slowly, the girl began walking in a direction opposite the school, stopping only once she reached her destination. Sitting in front of the weathered stone marker, Kanon finally spoke, her words tired and sad.

"..hi mom."

VIOLETTA
The second day of school. That meant the second day of work. Being a security guard meant she needed to be there before the school opened and the students arrived, meaning she had to get up much earlier than she would have liked. Not that exhaustion was really a problem for her, it was just annoying. Who wants to wake up when it's still dark out? Whatever, she was getting paid, and that's what mattered. But did it really? She was the goddess of time, money wouldn't ever truly be an issue. But, she couldn't deny the very...mortal pleasure in getting a paycheck. Plus, it was kind of fun being a security guard and putting punks in their place. The students could be quite stupid about not getting caught doing whatever illegal things they were doing, and she was always down for a challenge if some dumb creature thought they'd try and attack the school. Fighting against someone who controls time, much less the goddess of time, wasn't going to be easy. Though, she still hadn't told Kai that she had returned her time powers yet. Or about the job. Oops. She'd get to it eventually. Kissing the sleeping babies in their cribs, Violetta slipped out of the house and made her way to the school. She didn't see that goof of her coworker, but whatever. She could handle things on her own. Eventually the students came trickling in, making their way to their classes. She couldn't help but smile at seeing all the different students, reminiscing on when she was a student herself not long ago. Those were good times.

Mizuki had already made her way to the music classroom earlier that morning and was sitting with a her roommate and a few other girls, her harp sitting on the desk next to her. She was actually the first in to class since not only was she an early riser anyway, she was yet again plagued with vivid dreams that demanded her attention for most of the night and after waking up for the 4th time that night she honestly didn't feel there was much point trying to sleep again. She thought after coming to the school like the dreams had asked her too they would stop but honestly they were just becoming more naggy, mostly about talking with that boy again, or a boy. Said dreams still have neglected to inform her if she had found the right person yesterday but something was telling her that she had, something about him just seemed familiar and she simply couldn't ignore that. For now though she continued to gossip with the girls around her or rather, listen to them gossip, she found the art of gossip a bit silly, not to mention that she knew noone else apart from her roommate and the two girls with her so most of it honestly went past her. Where she sat gave a pretty much perfect view down the corridor so she could see as each student arrived, it was only when a familiar looking face was making his way through the corridor to the music room that she really took notice of that though. Blinking a few times she had separated herself from the group a little as she took a second look to confirm it was the boy from yesterday. She smiled softly giving a small wave in his direction. Class wouldn't be starting right away so she thought maybe she could have another chat with him.

Han's smile had soon faded as he gave Kaz what was known at his serious face. Honestly, it was just an emotionless stare, but it usually help him get his point across. "No, I'm rejecting you. You said everyone likes you, but I just so happen not to like you. I'm starting to think you can't get over the fact that I don't like you. I'm no where near confused either." Han said, shaking his head a little as he and Kaz continued to walk. "And don't get me wrong, I could drop you, right here and right now, though it wouldn't really make much of a difference. You've gained the majority of your energy back. Now, either you except the fact that I've been rejecting you, or you can forget the free food." Han told him, mentally laughing at Kaz. He was so confident in the discussion, but so far, Han didn't care much. He isn't attracted to Kaz, which he can guarantee, one hundred times over.
Kaz sighed and waved his hand nonchelantly "fine fine. I can see when I've pushed a joke to far you nondescript spoil sport." Walking along besides Han, Kaz sighed once more. "So where we going for food anyway man? Also just so you know, I don't do eggs."

Greg smirked as his girlfriend gifted him with that small kiss. He then listened to her argument about him coming to her classes now officially. It made so much sense now that he thought about it.
He nodded, gently stroking the side of her neck with his fingers before moving away a little, breaking the hug.
"Of course I'd want to join that class... all to spend more time with you, my love" He exclaimed happily, looking her in the eyes
Ariel looked back at him, still smiling "Good! I'd like to be in the same music class as you, it'll be fun!" She said happily with a nod "Not to mention, it would be such a waste for you not to join the music class with a learning speed like yours" She pointed out as she lifted her hand then poked the side of his cheek gently with her finger.

He smirked, taking her hand into his own and kissing it gently, laying it on his lap afterwards
"Why wouldn't I want to join your class now? Besides I might just come up with a new power... who the heck knows..." He exclaimed happily, looking swiftly at the guitar before returning his eyes onto his girlfriend's.

Fricka meanwhile listened quietly to her friend. She didn't mind it, really, but it still hurt her ear

"N-No... don't worry, it's okay..." She exclaimed, rubbing her ears lightly.
"Say, how are you doing currently?"

Celeste sighs slightly, and smiles at her once more. "Me? I'm fine. Just got a new roommate lately, so that's been fun." Celeste says, with careful consideration. She takes a very confident stance, as Fricka would know her to usually take, with her hands on her side and her head tall. Celeste's father always taught her, 'You don't win by being lucky - you win by being bold'. This is simply her way of showing that.

Rini had eventually reached the infirmary, not really caring where her "master" was at the moment. She didn't want to know. She couldn't even begin to understand why she was asked to do this, what would the girl even gain from Rini doing such a thing? Maybe a getting a laugh from it? She didn't understand the humour in it at all, but whatever. Knowing why didn't make it any more right. Reaching the doorway of the room Misafune was staying, she took a breath before walking into the room. She looked uncomfortable and rightfully so, who wouldn't be? She was just about to speak before her eyes had immediately moved to view the other boy that was now in the room with them both, blinking a few times her eyes narrowed, like she was trying to remember who he was but had quickly stopped when she realised she didn't recognise him at all. Great, now there was someone else here while she had to ask an already embarrassing thing, this was too embarrassing. Her cheeks were threatening to flare up now. Maybe she could hold up this...task she was given until this person left or atleast she hoped. "I'm Rini...nice to meet you Thomas" she said eventually, her tone a bit unsure.

--Misafune--

Misafune held up a paper doll. "Rini..come...here." he spoke raspy and painfully. "Before Serra....comes.....Exchange...with...doll. You.....me.....on....bed, Thomas....hide you....next to me...magic." he sputtered out. he was recovering, but it was slow and painful. All she had to do was..was..snuggle next to him! his pale face grew bright red at the thought, and some energy shot out of his puncture wounds. Those needed treatment asap. He tried to hide his face in his hat, but it was not working.

Beatrice was livid. But she knew better that to draw out any confrontation in the middle of the school. "Its almost time for class to start." She tried to sound authoritarian, but it was thinly veiled anger. She needed to return to class to await the bell, but this little bitch wanted to play games. So she decided to just walk away, before this thing provoked her even further.

Serra just brushed off the old ladies suggestion as she waited for her new pet to return. How hard was it to comply with one command. But she figured that there must be something off about the situation so she wanted to test her hypothesis. she slowly step for step walked towards the Infirmary. Maybe it was a matter of range? If she got closer, maybe she would get faster service? it was obvious that it would have some effect.[/QUOTE]

((It's fine, I was busy too))
Levi nodded "Really" he answered giving his usual smile he wore on his face, though he had to hold in a chuckle as he watched how excited Tuesday was getting over simply going to a library, he found it rather amusing, cute even. Though his expression had quickly changed into that of surprise when she bolted past him in this new skeletal form which caused the boy to stop in his tracks, changing forms wasn't a spectacular thing to him, he was a short himself after all. It was just how sudden this "human" had changed then changed back again had just caught him by surprise. When she had turned around and called to him again he was staring at her, his mouth agape like he was about to say something before he shook his head and walked towards the library, deciding against asking Tuesday what that was because he was pretty sure she hadn't even noticed the switch herself. "Yeah, yeah, sorry. I wasn't expecting you to dart to the door like that" he said, laughing lightly as he had reached the entrance. "Well? You ready to go in?" He asked, gesturing to the fact she was still holding the door handle.
Tuesday had seen the look on Levi's face, but had decided to dismiss it, because obviously, it was no big deal. "Alright then." She was ready to go in. "Of course!" She opened the door and burst into the room. She suddenly stopped, her eyes wide. She did a slow three-sixty around the room, taking everything in. It smelled like her attic; musty and old. It was deathly quiet, except for the echo of the door. But the sight of it was unreal. At least, to Tuesday. The bookshelves lined the walls, all the way to the top, too. There were desks in the center of the room and some of the larger alcoves. There were a few students and teachers scattered around. In a word, she was speechless.

Kalin stepped back after setting his dish down in front of his classmates. He smiled confidently as each of them brought their plates close, grabbed their forks and took a bite. Closing his eyes, Kalin pushed away his cart as his classmates and even his teacher collapsed from the explosion of flavor, their bodies twitching gently with their remaining pleasure spasms.

Pushing the cart out of the room, Kalin wondered what he'd do with all of the leftovers. He'd cooked for the whole class, but he realized quickly that a normal serving would just go to waste, so...

Well, he could just throw the rest out, but that wouldn't be any good. Maybe he could find someone to eat it?

Oh yeah! that works.

Looking around, Kalin noted one classroom that seemed busy and walked up to the door. thinking it over, he just opened the door and pushed his cart through without waiting for a reply.

"Hey! Good Morning, everybody! Who wants breakfast?"

Opening his cart, Kalin revealed his food to all of the students and smiled brightly.

Ariel blinked as he moved her hand away before smiling softly, deciding to just keep her hand where he had left it. She stared at him when he mentioned learning a new power "Oh! Levi had walked in quietly behind her, almost chuckling at her reaction he bent slightly so he'd be closer to her height, that way he could whisper without disturbing the other students. Not that he cared about disturbing them. It was just that he wasn't exactly on the good side of the librarian "Is it what you thought it would be like?" He whispered to her with a smile. From the desk not far from him, a woman sat with narrowed eyes at Levi. Standing up properly again he straightened up his uniform and smiled back at the woman "Unless you are here to actually work Mr. Roux I'd prefer you left" the woman scolded in a hushed tone. Levi simply waved his hands closing his eyes for a few moments "No Ma'am. I'm being this young lady's tour guide today, I won't be any trouble I promise" he answered before the woman simply scoffed and went back to her work. Levi began walking on, leading Tuesday on with him "I maaaay have pissed the librarian off more than once while in here" he admitted as he moved his hand through his hair. "Turns out napping isn't an option...well unless I sneak one in cat form" he continued, grinning afterwards.

Unlike Mizuki, Kansuke was not such an early riser. If anything, he was the type to sleep in, and it had definitely gotten him in trouble over the course of his many lives. But, he knew he couldn't afford to constantly be in trouble, so he had to try and break that bad habit of his. Today he woke up at a decent time, though it meant that he was one of the last to arrive to class. He wasn't late, exactly, but the rest of the students had pretty much all arrived and set up their instruments already. Thankfully, he had some innate sense of direction to actually find the classroom, otherwise he would have never made it on time. The students at the school were all so different, way more than the seven or so species of people back in his homeland. It was kind of interesting seeing the diversity of the students interacting with each other - it was a rare day when you'd see a Goron talking to a Kokiri. Actually, Kansuke couldn't remember a time when that actually happened. So yeah, it was cool to see that happen here. Soon enough, the classroom came into view, and he slipped inside, his gaze immediately being drawn to the blonde girl from yesterday. Yup, every time he looked at her, he got this weird, manifest destiny nostalgic feeling. He didn't understand it, or know anything about it, but it was there. A little weird, but not bad. It felt...familiar. Returning the wave, Kansuke gave a smile as he walked up to her. "Morning!"

Lumina Lumina

Lumina had settled down in her desk, her nose stuck inside one of the books. Titled "A Complete Guide to Phoenixes and Other Winged Firebirds", she figured this would be a good place to start. For some reason the teacher had decided to step out for a bit, which meant that class could potentially be delayed, she also figured that now would be a good time to read a bit, since the teacher looked like she wouldn't tolerate any slacking off. Not that she wanted to slack off or anything. So if she wanted to read, she had to do it now. The current page was part of the chapter on the physiology of phoenixes, and Lumina was surprised to find out that a phoenix has enhanced senses (smell, sight, etc.) as well as an enhanced physical condition (enhanced reflexes, strength, flexibility, ability, etc.). Lumina never thought of herself as having any of those things before, so it came as a surprise to her. Not moments after reading this, Lumina got a whiff of something that smelled amazing, looking up out of her book and toward the classroom. It was then that a red headed student walked in, pushing a tray carrying plates of food in front of him. So that's what that smell was. But, it wasn't the food that intrigued the Phoenix. It was the boy. Lumina's eyes widened as she looked at him. There was something about him that just seemed so...familiar. She didn't know what it was, but it was a strong feeling for sure. It was like time had slowed down for a moment as her eyes fell on him, her mind trying to wrap itself around why seeing this boy left her with such a feeling. Nostalgia, fear, sadness, hope? A jumble of emotions were bouncing around in her head as she just stared wordlessly at him from the back of the classroom.

As everyone stepped forward, Kalin was there to hand off a small plate to each of them, and offer a smile. He watched them return to their desks, and take a bite, and crumble under the myriad of flavor in the dish. He laughed gently to himself, patting himself on the back for another job well done when he noticed a girl sitting there that didn't have a plate. More interesting was the way in which she stared at him. As he looked back at her, his eyes focused, and the cheerfulness that was in them before vanished

Without a word, he picked up a plate and made his way towards her, setting it down on the desk. He slammed his hands down firmly on the desk and stared.

"Hey there...you sure do have some nerve, showing your face around here..."

She lowered her hand, using it to pull the harp that was at her desk onto her lap gently. "Good morning to you too, Kansuke~" she answered, her head tilting to the side slightly as she smiled up at him from where she sat. It seemed as though the teacher still wasn't arriving anytime soon which although she loved music she was glad of, she wanted to actually get a chance to talk to Kansuke today every previous meeting had just been so short. "I was meaning to compliment you on your song you played yesterday, saved our class from messing up" her smile grew ever so slightly for a moment "Where did you learn it? If you don't mind me asking" she added afterwards as she eyed him curiously, it didn't take a genius to notice the effects his song had had on the weather, especially when the teacher had even thanked him for it, so she was pretty intrigued and impressed by it. That and she hoped to make some conversation and learn something more about the boy by asking too.

Without a word, he picked up a plate and made his way towards her, setting it down on the desk. He slammed his hands down firmly on the desk and stared.

"Hey there...you sure do have some nerve, showing your face around here..."

Lumina still couldn't place where she knew this guy from. It was a little bothersome, this feeling tugging at her very being. Like..something locked far away inside herself and her memory that wanted to be freed, but didn't quite know how. He passed out the plates and it was then that Lumina realized she was staring, and averted her gaze back to her book. She guessed he had probably seen her staring, but she figured it was rude to stare as she was. She kept her gaze down until the slamming of hands brought her attention back up, her blue eyes meeting this boy's amber-yellow ones. He seemed...angry? Lumina looked at him as he spoke, wondering what he could possibly be talking about. Having nerve to show her face? Genuinely confused, Lumina responded. "I-I'm sorry... um, who are you?"

Masahi didn't have any hidden motives, nor had he lied. Well, not in a malicious way anyways. Truth be told, he probably wouldn't benifit from this proposition too much, if at all. Not that Roman needed to know that. It would be better for him to believe Masahi had something to gain rather than blankly stating something like 'we need to get rid of some of the filth in the world' or something similar. As for coming directly to Roman, that would be too problematic for both sides, and would stir up too many questions that could leave the Ishida household suspicious. Not to mention the fact that Roman was having selective memory. Though he was a Takamasa by blood, he's never met them because the village covered up his identity after he wondered into it at the ripe young age of five, after having lost his only tie to it. It was only their sensei and Roman that Masahi ever told. Well, it seemed that Roman would hold anything against him it seems. The main reason, besides the suspicion for Roman, that Masahi even waited here was so it wouldn't end up like the other times, where Roman always attacked first even though Masahi was trying to talk. If anything, Roman seemed more snake like in that manner.

After Roman had spoken Masahi turned the chair around to face Roman. His words, to some degree, upset Masahi. All he had done? Trying to talk it out only to be attacked by Roman time and time again? Something was definitely off here. Masahi had tried to recover broken and burnt bridges only to be met with fire and steel. When the time had come, he was the one to save Kaori's life while Roman was powerless in a situation that wouldn't have even occurred if Roman hadn't attacked. "Oh sure, if I had come to you directly we definitely could have had a chat, but only after you were done attacking and attacking, and attacking like every other time. No 'why are you here?' Nope, just, 'There's Masahi, I better attack him even though he's never attacked me out right!' Because that's definitely what the guy that gave up his life, his dreams, and lost his memories for years on end to save your sorry ass deserves, right?" Masahi said a bit loudly as he got out of the chair and walked over to Roman. "And you of all people should know I was orphaned from the moment I set foot in that village. I had to fend for myself since day one there. Unlike you I didn't have a family to support me. So, if you're done fucking around and ready to get your hand dirty like you did for the village, how about we discuss a certain organization called 'Cross'?" Masahi while keeping an emotionless face.

Masahi wasn't going to get off freely with what he had just said. Yes, just as Roman said, 'all you had done'. He meant that. How was he going to be able to trust him after doing all that stuff? Sure he may have saved Kaori, but if anything, he did it only because he loved her. The man got her pregnant then ran away. He tried to kill all sorts of people, what hasn't he done? At this point, he was just as bad as any other bad guy. "Are you seriously trying to tell me I'm the one in the wrong here? Don't act like you're the light shining in the dark, because you aren't nowhere near it in my eyes anymore, Masahi. If you were in my shoes, anything coming from you would be hard to believe. You make it hard to trust you, you really do. I would like to trust you, but I just can't bring myself to do so. Sometimes, at this point in time, I sorta wish you were actually left crushed under that rock. And it doesn't matter that you grew up without anyone, because I had to watch everyone I grew up around die. I'd rather grow up on my own than see that. It leaves scars."

After giving his little rant in return, Roman turned back to his window, looking out at the garden that his family had been growing. It always seemed to put him in a good mood. Taking a deep breath, and exhaling, he nodded. "What do you know about them? I've heard their name come across my desk a few times, but they don't seem much like a threat, mostly because they just aren't really a bothersome group." He said, rubbing his chin. It was true. The organization's name did cross his desk a few times, but he always pushed it to the side. They weren't much to worry about in his opinion. It's not like they were harming the citizens or anything... Maybe they had something planned that he didn't know about.

Ren smiled and waved to Gail when she called out to him, rubbing the back of his head a little in embarrassment. He didn't mean to yell out so loudly, but he was just so happy to see her. he wasn't sure why, but it was a natural reaction to seeing people you liked he assumed. He didn't do it much when he saw, his roommate, mainly because he was always in need of something. When Gail had came over to him, Ren put his hands in his pockets and chuckled, "Hey! It's nice to finally see you again. I had thought you decided not to join us, as for what I'm doing, I'm just relaxing. It's my off period and I wanted to use it to relax, but it's even better that I ran into you." He said, his smile slowly turning into a smirk. "How about you? Now that I interrupted your reading, what are you planning to do now?"

Kaz sighed and waved his hand nonchelantly "fine fine. I can see when I've pushed a joke to far you nondescript spoil sport." Walking along besides Han, Kaz sighed once more. "So where we going for food anyway man? Also just so you know, I don't do eggs."
Han continued to walk, his eyes glued straight as he watched where he was going carefully to make sure they weren't going to end up going somewhere else. When Kaz told him he was a spoil sport, he shrugged. "I was never too good with jokes. I'm really terrible at that kind of thing... I mean, some one-liners, I can do... but actual jokes, no. As for where we're going, its just a small diner nearby. They have some pretty good food, and you don't have to worry about eggs. You don;t have to get them."

Kansuke couldn't help but smile while talking to Mizuki. She was cute, that was for sure, but it was this weird unexplainable feeling that was the real cause, if she was being honest. Just talking to her, having a conversation, was such a nice thing. It was like it was something they never got to do but always loved, and it further confirmed that there was something about her that felt familiar. Like there was some deep longing for these casual peaceful moments in fear that they might be taken away. It was weird, but he liked it. There wasn't many times that he really felt any true deep emotion, so it was nice. He could tell already that this blonde girl was going to be important to him. Kansuke flashed a smile as she complimented him on his song, completely having forgotten about it. "Oh, it's no big deal." He responded, pulling out his ocarina. He turned it over in his hands, running his finger over the yellow crest around the mouthpiece. "It's just kind of habit I guess." Kansuke looked down at the instrument with a nostalgic expression on his face. "As for where I learned it, I... nah, you'd probably think it's stupid." He laughed softly, finally looking back up at Mizuki, who seemed to be eyeing him. He was good at hiding his emotions, but if he weren't, her interested gaze might have gotten him to blush a bit.

Now that I interrupted your reading, what are you planning to do now?"

Gail was happy to see Ren. If it was anyone else interrupting her, she would've probably just politely waved them off and kept working, but she would never do that to Ren - he had helped her for no reason whatsoever, even though she could've hurt him, simply of out his own kindness. Instead of running away or telling Ren to leave her to her work, Gail chuckles as she shakes her head in defiance. "Why would I leave the school? I have little better to do, and I like it here. People aren't so afraid of me." However, as Ren asks his line of questioning, Gail stops to think as she contemplates her answer. She wasn't actually sure what she was wanting to do with her time off. "Well", she says after a few seconds of thought, "It's my off period as well. I was going to use it to do a bit more work since I joined the school a little late...but I don't mind! It's nice running into you." She says with an equally cheeky smirk, as she looks around the garden and at the different colours of the flowers. "I honestly don't know what to do now. Is there anything you want to do?"

Habit? A bit of an odd answer she supposed but she guessed it somewhat made sense, to her anyways. She had looked down at the ocarina he had pulled out of his pocket, her eyes viewing it as if she recognised it. More importantly was that the royal crest was on it, meaning this boy was indeed, from her home (or atleast knew about it). She had seen it before of course, he was using it yesterday but it was only now that she was really looking at it and it seemed to be shaking up some kind of memory she had in her head, fuzzy and barely memorable but it was something. When he said that she'd think his explaination was stupid, her gaze had already moved from the ocarina back up to his face. She blinked a few times when she heard his answer "Oh?" She let a light laugh before shaking her head "No, I don't think I will. The fact you said that just makes the story seem all the more interesting to me" she assured him, hoping he would finish off what he was saying.

Kansuke did notice the way that she was looking at his Ocarina. She was looking at it the same way that he had looked at her yesterday. He definitely noticed the recognition in her eyes. Did that mean she recognized the instrument? Sure it was a little strange of an instrument to have, but he's always had it and never really thought anything of it. But what he wondered was if what she was staring at was the instrument itself, or the royal crest on it. If she was staring at the crest like she knew what it was, then that would mean she had some kind of connection to his homeland. That theory seemed impossible. Meeting someone at this school of all places that was connected to his homeland? What were the chances of something like that happening? Low. Hearing her little "oh?" brought him out of his thoughts, back to the present where Mizuki was now saying that she didn't think his story about knowing the song would be stupid. Instead, she would think it'd be interesting. Well, if that was the case... "Alright, if you insist." Kansuke laughed, bringing his gaze down to his ocarina as he tried to phrase it the best he could. "Well, if I'm being honest I'm not totally sure. I've had this ocarina with me my whole life, and as I grew up, I just kind of...starting knowing things. Remembering things I had never done or learned before. With, kind of hazy memories attached to those things. One day I was playing around on it, when it started to rain, and then all of a sudden it was like my fingers were playing on their own, and I just sort of knew that song. I didn't know how I knew it, I just did. I got this feeling that I've always known it, I just had to remember it again. When I tried thinking about where I knew it from, the hazy memories popped up. There was something about a small town at the base of a mountain that I thought I recognized, then specifically there was this guy with a windmill and an...accordion, I think? I don't know, that probably made no sense." Kansuke gave an embarrassed laugh, realizing he was rambling on about stuff that didn't even make any sense to him.

Elysande sighed as she stared at the piece of paper on her small desk located in the corner of her dorm room. She rubbed her temple and then moved her hand across her face to where to rubbed the bridge of her nose. She absolutely dreaded history as much as she dreaded homework. Put those two things together and a giant Elysande Nightmare was created. She shook her head and gave another sigh, reclining in her chair and throwing her head back with a closing of her eyes. "This is so dumb." She complained. The school was definitely draining her. Although she loved academics and studying, the school seemed to know how to challenge each person individually. Eventually, Elysande opened her eyes and reached into her pocket, pulling out the diamond she always carried around. She then squeezed her hand and focused on the diamond, summoning her guardian. She wasn't sure if the rules prevented males in the dorm or not but she figured her guardian would be an exception.

Celaena finally stood up after catching her breath. Yeah, that was a bit too much for her liking. Too much...not nature. Sheepishly, she looked at her tour guide, embarrassed at her little outburst. "I am sorry about that," she apologized, giving him a bow. "I did not mean to cause a scene or to cause you any trouble." She straightened her back again, her hands clasped in front of her. "I have appreciated your help and lending your time. I do not wish to take up any more of it." Celaena gave a small smile, genuinely grateful that she found someone nice enough to show her around. She was about to turn and leave when she remembered that she didn't know where she was. Looking at Ansom, she spoke again. "I do not wish to inconvenience you further, but could you take me back to the park where we first met? I do not exactly know the way from here..."

Closing up the last of her notebooks and placing them into her bag Ilaani slung her bag onto her bag, she had a free period before her next class so after she had stepped out of her class she had headed outside. The weather was pretty nice out so she decided she'd maybe spend it outdoors, the school had a pretty impressive campus so there was plenty of quiet places to take a moment of rest. Walking along until she came near a part of a wall that gave a good enough view of the surrounding area as well as some sunlight to sit in, she hopped up on to the wall and pulled a candy bar that she had been keeping as a snack out of the front pocket of her bag. Unwrapping it and taking a bite, she glanced around as she gently swung her legs forward and back.
