Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

"I just came for the drinks. Since I have no family." He said casually before downing the rest of his drink and then setting the empty glass on the counter and tapped the glass with his finger while looking at the bar tender. It got his attention and he took the glass before going to get a refill. "Honestly, my family has way too much troubles that i don't like going back really. Especially the situation they stuck me in. It's really a pain."

Des turned around and gave her a look of "and you wouldn't go get pizza if you were wanted by the police?" Then turning back he watched as more police tried to circle around the shield. Annoyed Des raised his other hand causing another large green wall to appear blocking off their path. Then turning back to ilaani he looked at her for half a second and said, " if I opened you a path, what do you think your odds of escaping are?"
Ilaani sighed when he looked at her, looking around at the amount of police officers that were surrounding them "Uhh..." She continued looking around to find a gap she could go through if he did so. Her eyes focused on a gap near another table, thinking it over for a moment, she looked back at him "Pretty good. I think I can manage it" She said with a nod.

Sora blearily opened her eyes and saw that she was in an entirely different place from when she last opened her eyes but whatever, not that that was a New concept to her. Rolling back over she went back to sleep, entirely trusting that her "things" would keep her safe. When she woke up once more, the pounding in her head had subsidised a large amount, to sleepily standing she decided to investigate her surroundings. Leaving the room she glanced at her surroundings .
((I don't know what said surroundings look like so I leave that to you))

The area she had entered was a narrow hallway that lead to the dining room and kitchen. She could now smell perfectly exactly what was cooking. Ramen. Up ahead there was sliding doors to her right as well that lead out to the Zen Garden. Probably where Keith meditates. She could hear murmuring coming from the kitchen. The corridor also jutted out to her right, with sliding doors to her left that also probably led to the Garden. There was a training dummy laying against the wall from what she could see from the other hallway. Looks like she could either go check out the training room, check out the Zen Garden, or investigate the dining/living room.

Arako just giggled a bit before resting herself on C4's body. She was having a blast with this new guy she met up with. She totally forgot they met just today. Literally. It was mainly C4's warmth that made her forget this kind of stuff. Soon, their drinks arrived. It was a small wooden tray with a bottle of sake and two small cups. Arako just continued to snuggle with C4 however, resting her head on his big chest.
C4 laughed as he felt Arako press her head against his chest smiling he rubbed her shoulder with one hand and poured their cups full with the other. Leaning in he rubbed his face against her ears before speaking, "so what you wanna do after this?"

Kaz was soon served her drink, nodding to the bartender in thanks before his attention was back on the male who he had joined in conversation. "That must be hard. Wish things could have turned out better for you with them, dude. I'm working on building my family back up, making sure we're back on stable ground since a few months back some stuff came up with my girlfriend... Guess I wasn't being considerate enough when I ran out like a dumbass." Kaz still hated that he did that, it almost costed him his relationship, but Minako was somehow able to fix everything for them. He was glad to have her around... "Enough about that though, don't wanna ruin anyone's mood. What's your name?"

C4 laughed as he felt Arako press her head against his chest smiling he rubbed her shoulder with one hand and poured their cups full with the other. Leaning in he rubbed his face against her ears before speaking, "so what you wanna do after this?"
"I dunno... Maybe call it a day. Or a night. Mom would be worried again if I didn't come home before dark." She said with a giggled as she rested there. Of course, she wouldn't want to trouble her mom. Maybe Arako and C4 should exchange phone numbers?

"My name is Qrow. Spelled with a Q instead of a C. Also, sorry about that." He said before the bartender bumped a glass off the counter and hit the ground. He groaned a little before getting a glass for Qrow then going to the back to get the cleaning supplies. "As the name suggests, I sort of bring misfortune and unluckiness like the bird usually does when they fly over your head. So if any misfortune happens to you in this bar, might have been me. Sorry that I can't control this kind of stuff." He then took a sip from his glass and then looked at Kaz. "How about you?"

This kind of family atmosphere that Lilliana was in was one that she definitely cherished. Her old life with Ken and her parents seemed to have fallen apart, and being the kind of kid she was, Lilliana needed that family atmosphere. Specifically, she needed a dad. That wasn't to say she didn't love her mother or Ken, of course she did, but there was something about having a dad that was different. Maybe it was because she always felt like an outcast, and her father was the only one who understood how she felt because they shared the same dark exceed genes. Nobody else could understand that, so it led to Lilliana having a strong attachment to the father figure in the household. Which is why, when her biological family fell apart, she couldn't help but cling to the only other fatherly figure in her life - Ayen, who she happened to meet some time ago. And now here she was, about to have her first holiday dinner with family ever. Just as Len had, Lilliana too had jumped up from the couch and ran over to see the food being pretty much done, getting just as excited about it as she had been about the buns. With a smile, she glanced at the food before turning and giving her father a smile. "It looks good, papa! Can we eat it now?"

no slide
no slide
((This one will be without code till I get to Ayen's coding))

Ayen always strove to understand his children, knowing that each individual has there own needs. If nothing else, his vast age granted him vast knowledge as well. Not on the modern age, but on the workings of people, regardless of age, race, species, and general background. Everyone had cravings, wants, needs; but not everyone had potential, and that was always a factor in his choosing of children. Though their were certain criteria that had to be met, once Ayen took in a child, he'd never turn his back on them, supporting them to his fullest. After all, taking them in was his choice. How did that relate to now, in this moment? Well, there's Lilliana, a demi-god who inheritance the powers of her now dead godly father. Though she was timid, and seemed to have a inferiority complex, Ayen also saw the possibility of great things if she was given the care and nurture she needed. Thus Ayen took Lilliana in as his own to be raised along side with his illegitimate son, Len.
On this given night, they were finishing celebrating the end of last year with a large stew that had been slow cooking all day. Both of his children seemed eager for his cooking tonight. To that end Ayen donned a happy smile before getting out three bowls. The stew was made with veggies and spices that would usually be from frozen stock by human limitations, but for one such as Ayen, those limitations didn't apply. The broth and meat were both supplied by a great buck, the broth being thick, rich in umami and slightly gravy like; the deer meat was diced finely, and the veggies were all freshly grown earlier that day. So when Lilliana asked if they could eat yet, Ayen let out a small laugh and set the table with the bowls of stew "Of course you can, how else will you grow big and strong my princess?"

~Maya Radkov~
While Cecil had gone off earlier in the morning Maya had woken up and had went off to visit Moriko and Peaches. She hadn't seen them in a long time and since Cecil was out and they hadn't had a weekend off in a while, she thought she'd stop with them for an hour or so. After coming home she stepped inside and looked around "Cecil?" She called as she hung her jacket up on the coat rack. She didn't see him around, maybe he wasn't back yet? She walked down the hallway, something catching her eye as she passed the bedroom. Pausing she glanced through the door to see Cecil laying on the bed. She smiled lightly, it seemed he was taking his day off well. Entering the room she made her way over to the bed, well, if he was going to relax, she might as well join him, right? "Good afternoon~" she said with a giggle as she lay down beside him.

Yawning in his sleep, Cecil moved around a bit, especially when Maya had laid down beside him. As he slept, he was dreaming of being a cat, seemed sort of odd for someone his age, but he's always had an active imagine, even as a little kid. In his dream, he had purred, causing him to purr a little and cuddle up against Maya, though feeling someone beside caused him to wake up. He blinked a few times, looking up at, Maya before jumping out of bed in embarrassment. "Haha... Hahaa... I'm sorry about that, Maya! I didn't know you were here." Cecil sighed as he finished speaking, hanging his head in defeat. "I think I'm a little too old to be having cat dreams... Where I'm the cat."

Cecil sat down on the bed, leaning back so he was laying down again, "I've missed you, honey. You weren't here when I got back from running my errands, so I was pretty bored without you." He told her, a smile on his face as he did so. "There isn't anything we can do here, while you were out, I cleaned the place up and set up the bed, dishes are done, clothes are washed... I was thinking since all our house chores are done, maybe we could spend the day out? We rarely ever get the chance with how busy we are." That was something they both couldn't deny. All their time had been poured into the cafe, even on the weekends and they weren't able to have some time to themselves.

Sighing Sora tilted her head and listened carefully for the muttering. If it was her choice she would go find food, but to fair she should probably figure out where she was and who had taken her, either to eat them or to thank them.... Or both.... Thinking this she walked into the dining room/kitchen to see who was making all the noise.

"My name is Qrow. Spelled with a Q instead of a C. Also, sorry about that." He said before the bartender bumped a glass off the counter and hit the ground. Kaz chuckled, Qrow's name was unique. Something many people were lacking these days. "Nice, pretty different from anything you hear nowadays. The rest of us are just normies." He said, laughing lightly before taking a sip of his drink. "It'd be different if someone brought me misfortune instead of myself, don't worry about it though." Kaz then remained quiet, not saying anything for a short while. "My name is Katashi, but since my first name sounds like a last name, I go by the first half of my last." He explained before holding out a hand to Qrow, "Nice to meet you."

So you said it'd be different if someone brought you misfortune instead of yourself. What do you mean by that?" Qrow asked before he took another sip of his drink, his kamikaze almost halfway finished.

"I mean exactly what I said." Kaz said, taking another sip of his drink before twirling it around a bit. "My actions have gotten me into places with people that I wish I could take back, but none of us are perfect... That's the thing though. I bring misfortune to those around me or simply myself with those choices. I've just decided to go against what my gut tells me, and well so far, so good." Kaz explained. He had lost count of how many times he's been hurt or hurt someone, whether it be emotionally, or physically. "Yeah..."

So I don't exactly have to hurt myself whenever I see a friend get hurt. Besides, people do get the gist that my name would cause misfortune. So they stay away anyway."

Maya tilted her head when he hadn't responded to her words apart from just turning a little. He really was out for the count it seemed. She didn't attempt to wake him up, feeling that his rest was obviously well deserved so she instead just stayed laying next to him, maybe she'd eventually fall asleep too. She had gotten comfortable, her eyes even beginning to close before she heard...Purring? Her eyes fluttered open again as Cecil had continued to purr and cuddle himself against her. Just what on earth was he doing? She smiled, finding it kind of adorable before he woke up and stared at her and then straight off jumped off the bed. Maya quickly sat up in a mixture of surprise and confusion. Staring at him as he explained himself, she couldn't help but giggle at his reaction, putting her hand near her mouth "I missed you too. I didn't mean to startle you, you just looked so cosy that I wanted to join you! for the record, you were being very cute" She responded with another small laugh after he had laid down again. She had laid back down as well and moved herself closer to him, nodding in reaction to his words before continuing to speak softly "That is true. As much as I love running the café with you, I do wish we both took breaks just a little bit more sometimes that's both our faults" she smiled back at him "For going out today, what did you have in mind?" She asked curiously.

"I dunno... Maybe call it a day. Or a night. Mom would be worried again if I didn't come home before dark." She said with a giggled as she rested there. Of course, she wouldn't want to trouble her mom. Maybe Arako and C4 should exchange phone numbers?
C4 looked at her idly for a second before remembering he was the strange on in this scenario. Ordinary people had families that waited on them and expected them and he was the outlier for not. Well unless you counted cross, but not really... Smiling at Arako once more he nodded and looked down at her leaning on his chest. "Well then I guess we better eat our meal huh so we can get you back home."

"Trust me. It does." Kaz said, shaking his head as he thought back to some of the crappy choices her made, only to have people end up angry with him. Sighing lightly, he took a sip of his drink, the amount of liquid having barely went down from when he had got the glass returned to him. "I'm not a afraid of a little misfortune, and you seem like a really nice person, that being said, I wouldn't mind being your friend." Kaz looked at Qrow with a smile. "Maybe we could even help each other out... Y'know, because everyone can use a friend after all."

Cecil blushed lightly as he listened to Maya's words. He was being cute? That's not one he was expecting... Then again, Maya liked cute things, so she'd know a lot about them. He himself liked them too, but he didn't think a grown man purring in his sleep would be even the slightest thing of cute, but he took her word for it. Sitting up, he turned to face her, crossing his legs in a criss-cross fashion, smiling at her as he began to speak, "Well, I'm surprised you think that my purring and cat like behavior is cute. If I could, I'd do it all the time for you~" He said with a smile, soon listening to her as she spoke again. What did he have in mind? There was a lot of things the two could do to enjoy the day, being the one who came up with the idea, it was only right he threw a few things they could do. "How about we go have ourselves a nice dinner? Maybe before that we can go and visit a few of the cities landmarks? Take some pictures to hang up around the apartment?" He asked, looking at Maya with a smile, awaiting her input on his ideas.

Presuming that shadow stepping is silent, Vito doesn't hear her since he is in deep meditation and continues meditating. However, after another few minutes of a deep calmness, Vito's clothes change once again to a deep blue colour. As he starts to slowly lower to the ground, the air grows cooler and small snowflakes start falling in the immediate proximity around him. He has changed his attunement once again to Water. The naginata remains still on the floor, still sheathed.

Keith was responsible for the smell it seemed. Keith was sitting down by himself with a bowl of ramen. He had taken off his bandit mask so he could eat. He looked up at Sora who had entered and gave a curt nod before looking back at his ramen. "Are you feeling any better? I made you some ramen if you want any. It's on the counter." He said. There was an uneasy presence again, like there was some other presence besides Keith here.

Masumi smiled and nodded, "If you say you're fine, then I guess you are." She responded with, laughing a little. It had been the first time she's opened up a little since the two started talking this entire time. Masumi would definitely know if she was hurt though, it'd be written all over her face and through her body language. "Well, maybe we should go do something else. Destroying school property won't look good on our records now would it?"

"Probably the only thing we're good for." Kaz said, laughing lightly. With his mind off the troubles he's caused in the past, Kaz was able to drink freely, his mind not keeping him from enjoying the conversation or his drink. He took a swig, knocking what was left back, ordering another, along with a glass of water. "I got myself a job dealing with supernatural stuff. I hunt down beings who are causing a problem with everyday human life... In other words, I'm a supernatural cop." He explained, taking a sip of the water that was given to him, sitting it beside his drink that had been refilled. "What about you? What do you do?"
