Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Samara looked around as they exited the portal to a village she was a bit surprised to find was Raven's home, the look of it combined with snow reminded her a lot of her home, well used to be home, and on top of that you could see the sky, and not a cave ceiling. She turned to follow her as they continued in the opposite direction of the village to find this she they were here to find. "This place reminds me a lot of my home...only we lived in the mountain, not on it,"

"I see. Well... We're going to a sort of castle or palace. Something grand." She said as she kept walking. They were starting to go up the mountain side.

Des sighed as he dashed along the sidewalk, cracking the concrete slightly with each stride. Turning back and looking over his shoulder Des sighed as he saw the helicopter gunships still following him. Honestly, he would have thought the Japanese government would have done something by now. This was obviously disregarding a few international treaties, even if he had accidentally strayed onto one of their military bases, but still. He had even apologized to them, yet they still were chasing after him. Des wondered if he had accidentally offended some big shot in the military. That was possible, Des really didn't have much tact. Although if he was honest, Des would have preferred that they got a bit more accurate, it was rather annoying having to constantly protect his surroundings. Dashing along Des looked back and sighed when he saw the helicopter fire a pair of missiles and he was even more annoyed when those missiles almost immediately strayed from heading towards him towards the surrounding buildings. Flicking his fingers, walls of pale green energy appeared on either side of the street and the missiles harmlessly collided with them, causing no damage. At this point Des was rather fed up with the damn military firing rockets at him so growling in frustration he pointed at the helicopter and flicked his fingers once more causing a pale green cube to neatly appear around the heli, causing the heli as it attempted to fly out of the cube to crash against the side of the cube and explode, detonating the remaining missiles on the gunship and create a very large explosion, yet everything was neatly contained inside the cube. Sighing Des shook his head and pulled out his book from the shoulder bag he wore before releasing the green energy around him and allowing the remaining wreckage of the gunship to fall to the ground, "If i dont get out of here fast, then i'm going to end up on the 5 O'clock news, and thats not going to be any good." then turning, Des buried his nose in his book and "jumped" to the other side of the city. When he reemerged, he figured that about 45 minutes had probably passed when suddenly he found himself starring at the sky. Wondering why he was now on his back, Des sat up only to see another girl sprawled out on the ground in front of him. "welp..... this is awkward....Uh..... sorry?"

((i couldn't figure out how to introduce Des, so i figured teleport to faceplant sounded good XDD ))

Ilaani

Ilaani had continued on her path when a person had just appeared next to her so quick that she had no time for her abilities to even reach so she fell to the ground. She looked ahead with a confused expression first. "Jeez..." Grumbling to herself before sitting up she turned to see a boy looking back at her. She hadn't heard or seen or even sensed him running at all, in fact, it was more Like he had fallen from nowhere. She paused. Teleporting. Why did everyone here teleport?! It freaked her out everytime someone would just, appear beside her. Her roommate however, found this halarious and jumpscared her in that manner more than a few times. Though not only had this person appeared beside her, they had whacked her onto the concrete, her cereal bar flying out of her hand and sliding across the ground. She simply stared at him when he apologised. Her brows furrowed a little but instead of a rant of how on do you teleport more less onto a person she held her composure as best as one could after falling ungracefully onto the ground and busting your elbows, instead shaking her head "It's fine, I'm sure you didn't mean it" she answered as she dusted herself off.

((Hey, a start is a start xD))

"I see. Well... We're going to a sort of castle or palace. Something grand." She said as she kept walking. They were starting to go up the mountain side.

"Something grand...well I do believe I would be interested in seeing that, I've never seen a castle of a palace before,  not really anyway, but I've seen plenty of pictures," Samara continued to follow Raven up the mountain side, she was actually very used to conditions such as this as she had to walk through the mountains for a while when she was leaving her village.

KAORI HANA

Even in the kitchen, Kaori could hear the clones running about packing all of her things in the apartment. It's not like there was all that much stuff, considering she had pretty much run away from the Home and it's not like she had many things anyways. Honestly most of what she had was the stuff she had collected at her own apartment, and the things that Roman had gotten for her while she had stayed here. So there wasn't much work for the clones to do, and they seemed to finish up pretty quick from what Kaori could tell from the kitchen. Being in the kitchen surrounded by food, Kaori's food cravings came back (pickles and hot sauce, seriously?) and had to steel herself to only drink water, considering how she'd been throwing up all day. Food was the last thing she needed right now.

She couldn't help but overhear what Roman was telling his clones, how he was out on "important business." If that was the case, then that meant that she was the important business. A light blush formed on her cheeks at the thought. She already believed him that he cared for her, but it was still nice to know that she was actually important to him as well. It only grew when she suddenly heard her favorite voice behind her, stating that she was all packed. Trying to calm her blush down, Kaori turned around, taking another drink of water before placing it on the kitchen counter. "T-that's good to hear. Roman, than-" The kunoichi spoke, but stopped herself once Roman began speaking again. He was saying how she didn't need to thank him, even though that was literally what she had almost done. He continued on by saying how she could consider his home her home from now on. The thought was a comforting one - honestly, even with her own apartment, she couldn't remember the last time that she really felt like anywhere was home. To think that her home would be the same place that Roman called home... yeah. That was a nice thought. "It's nice to be around you too," Kaori added, giving him a small smile.

Now that his duty of packing her things for her new home was complete, he apparently had nothing to do for the rest of the day. Kaori's smile faltered a bit as he mentioned how his wife was gone on a trip and that's why he wasn't looking forward to going home, but it never truly left her face, as she didn't want to raise concern with him. She couldn't show him that she was upset about his marital status, the kunoichi knew that he cared for his wife, as she expected he would, so any discontent from Kaori wouldn't sit well with Roman. So, she'd just have to ignore that fact for now if she wanted to even enjoy her time with him. "I-I'm good on food, so we don't have to waste time on that," she spoke once he gave her options as to what they could do for the day. Her words came out a little faster than she wanted or expected, but her opinion was dead set on food. Didn't want to waste his time by being sick. "We could go do something, I heard they opened an aquarium/zoo just recently, that sounds like it could be fun." Really, if Kaori was being honest, doing anything at all with him sounded like fun. Her blush darkened a bit at the feeling of his arm around her, but she wasn't going to run away from it. It was a nice feeling and she wanted to hold onto it as much as she could.

tumblr_ojba6lvv5z1v5sogro4_r1_540.gif

Roman stood with Kaori, smiling a little when she told him about the new aquarium and zoo that had opened up. He would have known of it himself if he wasn't so busy all the time, but he was glad she knew. "Been a long while since I went to a zoo... Guess that's what we'll do then, Kaori so good idea." he said, taking her hand. "I'm pretty sure we'll be there for awhile so we'll just head straight to my place afterwards." he added, knowing that there would be somethings he'd have to take care of once they got there, so there was something to not look forward to at the end of the day. Roman looked at the door and then Kaori, nodding his head, signalling her that it was time to go. "Let's get going." Roman then led Kaori out of the apartment. "Gonna have to add that to me list... Getting rid of that place shouldn't take long. Just a simple call." It was useless anyways now, and he had other places he could use around the city, so getting rid of one cramped apartment isn't a big deal... Not like it was valuable on top of that. Taking note of the silence, Roman figured it was time to spark up conversation with his friend, "Soooo.... Kaori... Ah..." This was a failure of a start. Roman soon laughed a little in embarrassment, rubbing the back of his head. "Wow... Now that I'm here with you, I don't know what to ask you. There's so much I want to talk about, but I don't know how to bring it up." Roman sighed, "Uhh.. Well actually, on a more caring note, have you been to a doctor lately? I'm curious as to if you're having a boy or girl." he said, placing his free hand on her stomach.

It may have not been his own kid, but he still cared. He figured it was some sort of thing all people in his position felt, seeing as how his own kids were off doing whatever they pleased, he could only wish to spend time with them, but now since he promised to help Kaori, maybe he could do better. Not saying he didn't do well with his own children, it's just that they never come visit anymore... Well Misaki does but the others don't. Roman started to feel that maybe he was thinking too hard on it, maybe even getting old... Scratch that. He didn't like that thought.

They soon arrived at a shrine entrance. Raven was mistaken. They were going to a shrine house. Raven soon went inside, expecting Samara to follow. They soon found a girl walking around in a shoulderless sweatshirt with a short skirt. She had icy blue hair and eyes. As well as a lolipop in her mouth. Raven soon turned into a raven, a bird, and flew out of there. Soon the girl faced Samara's direction before she held her arm and spoke. "Who are you? How did you find this place?" She said before she saw a raven fly into a distance before it perched itself on a tree branch and watched. The girl looked back at Samara coming with a conclusion. "One of Raven's friends I suppose?"

Samara followed Raven inside of the shrine when suddenly she literally turned into a Raven and flew away off into the distance. She was kind if impressed by it, she really hadn't gotten a chance to see any of the other students powers. However; for now she turned back to the girl with icy blue eyes and hair. From the look of her clothes, much like her she didn't seem to be bothered by the cold, actually if she was anything like her the old wasn't even noticeable. As she asked her questions, quickly coming to a conclusion she nodded bowining her slightly in respect and out of habit,  if there was one thing her mother did teach her it was manners "Yes, I am, she wanted me to meet you, she believed you might be able to help me, more than anyone else actually...I'll assume there's a reason she flew away so quickly or might I be wrong?"

"You don't have to change your look just because I think something's cute." Logan said, putting his arm around Scarlet and laughing. "You're cute to me no matter what! It was just different to see you without them for once~" he told her as he began walking, holding Scarlet's hand. "Now let's get going. Stading around isn't gonna do us any good unless we wanna waste time now."

Scarlet nodded, "Ok~ Where should we go first? There has to be at least one place you want to go to." She said and smiled. Since Logan was the one paying for everything, she'd feel bad if he didn't get to go somewhere he wanted to.

Kenai watched her walk over, holding in chuckle, he knew how hard she was trying to stay calm, he could see it in her face. "The best day of my life, huh? That's quite the statment to make" he asked with a slightly raised brow. Listening to her list it sounded like it would be pretty tiring too, but a promise was a promise after all. That and he actually wanted to spend the day with Asako anyways, he had grow quite accustomed to being pulled around by her since she always managed to pull him into something fun.

Asako put her hands on her hips, "I guarantee you that you'll have so much fun that when we're done, you'll love me for dragging you out here~" She grinned. Thinking of what they should do first she soon spoke again, "Since you're a beginner, we'll start off small with a snowman~ Anybody  can make a snowman~"

"Let's just say... She had better attire for approaching a Goddess of Ice and Snow. Her current attire just... Doesn't sit well with me." She said before Raven came back and perched herself on the Goddess' finger, explaining Samara's situation. Soon, the Goddess looked at Samara. "So... They're doing this to Yuki-Onna people..." She said as Raven soon started flying again and perched herself on a nearby wall and spoke to Samara. "This girl's name is Fuyumi. A Goddess of Ice and Snow. She carries traits of a Yuki-Onna, so she would no doubt take this seriously."

Logan looked at Scarlet with a smile, shaking his head, "Nope. If I see something worth getting, I'll get it, but I pretty much have everything I want already." he said, laughing a little. "I have a variety of outfits, but I kind of get lazy and only wear this one... Maybe I'll try on a different one when we get back, but as of now, you can get anything you want. Consider it my way of saying thanks." he told her, nodding his head in reassurance that he was fine with not buying anything for himself.

Samara looks over at Raven as she explains who the woman is before her, explaining that she was a goddess of ice and snow who carried traits of Yuki-Onna. From the way she looked, she didn't seem like a goddess and yet she had never seen a goddess before so she wouldn't really know. "I see, and you believe she can help me with what exactly? Can she help me find them...or is there another reason you had in mind?" She looked a Fuyumi and nodded "It's as she says,  Yuki-Onna are being hunted and kept as slaves for their tears by horrendous methods,  because of this it has forced the majority of my people to go into hiding. However; as little to no people even know what a Yuki-Onna is, no one is aware of the jewel slavers so my people will be forced to hide forever or until they are all eventually made slaves...and I don't want that for them. I want them to be free, really truly free, can you help me with that?"

"Of course. If it's something I've learned, you can truly be one with the blizzard." She said as Samara felt a hand on her shoulder from behind. Soon, a voice. Then you realize, it was a clone of Fuyumi behind you. "It's nice to have a family who has stalker written all over their blood. It makes tracking others so much more easier. Isn't that right, me?" Fuyumi just giggled as the Fuyumi clone behind Samara disappeared. Soon Fuyumi leaned against a tree. "I'm not sure if you are able to have such abilities like me. But once you know how to use it, it really is fun~ And of course, I'll help. Seeing an entire race hide forever until eventually, they will just be a slave race generating profits for the bad guys, doesn't sit well with me."

...ΨKenji looked back to Lumina and listened to her as she spoke about wanting to look for her parents. He could see the passion in her eyes as she spoke about the topic with an embarrassed tone, and could easily tell that it was something she felt strongly about. In his studies of reading books on Mankind, the Humans who didn't know their parents were reluctant on finding their parents, as they saw it as abandoning them in their time of need, this wasn't the case for Lumina, though. As he knew that with every reincarnation, Lumina's memories would reset, and given that he saw an old man in the forest with her in her past life, Kenji figured that she must have seen him as a parental figure. Remembering that there was a lot of books in the study within the estate regarding every being within The Existence, Kenji nodded. He knew there was a few books on Phoenixes, as well as the heritages of the most renown houses, so he figured Lumina's family would be written down in one of them. When Lumina was finished talking, Kenji spoke, his smile remaining ever wide as he did soΨ...

Of course it's okay~ We can go to the study now~ Although, wouldn't it be better to look through the books in the morning? You'll be able to retain more information with a fresh mind~

LUMINA

The blush remained on Lumina's cheeks as she waited for Kenji's answer, her eyes sparkling with the passion that fueled her words. She knew that Kenji would help her, but it didn't stop her from getting nervous all the same. But, as she figured, there was no need to worry as Kenji happily accepted her request, though he did advise to wait until morning so as to retain more information about what she learned. Lumina's determined face turned into a more excited smile as he agreed, releasing a breath she didn't even know she was holding in. "T-thank you!" She exclaimed, leaning forward and grabbing his hand to show her thanks. She guessed that Kenji would probably end up telling her that she didn't need to thank him, but she felt the need to anyways. This was something that was actually kind of important to her, so she was quite thankful of any help from anyone at all. Though, he did make a good point about waiting until morning. It was already after midnight, and she had been up for a good part of the day. Kenji probably already knew that getting lost and being around a bunch of new people was exhausting for her, and was making sure that she didn't overdo it. She wasn't weak, but she wasn't the strongest either. She probably was a lot more tired than she felt at the moment, so she had to agree. "R-right, I guess we can wait until morning." Lumina nodded, leaning back in her chair, still not letting go of his hand. "I guess it is late." Her voice had hints of disappointment, but also showed the exhaustion that was slowly sneaking up on her. Before long, the phoenix found herself yawning, blinking slowly as the yawn came to a finish.

"Of course. If it's something I've learned, you can truly be one with the blizzard." She said as Samara felt a hand on her shoulder from behind. Soon, a voice. Samara looked at the Fuyumi clone, slightly surprised merely from the touch of someone being behind her, she was more than capable of making clones herself, but she wasn't sure how similar or different she and Fuyumi's powers may have been. As a goddess she'd probably suspect a great deal, but then again as she thought before she'd never met a goddess "I'm not really certain myself, maybe we'll have to find out one of these days, but at the very least at least nothing can get too cold for us, right?" She smiles and nods her head as she listens to Fuyumi's answer "That is very good to hear I must say, I do feel better at the thought of having a goddess on my side,"

Perfect sighed lightly, running a hand through his hair before face-desking. "I want this to be spectacular. Something to remember and blowing people to bits and hijacking a national broadcasting place is all I we can come up with?" Scraping his brain for more ideas, one had finally come into mind. "Y-Yeah.. I think I have an idea. Ribbon? How do you feel about big explosions and thousands of lives being taken away in said explosions?" he asked, rubbing his chin. "Then YOU can go make the announcement for me while I go set up a place to fight, though the location for this tournament will have to be figured out first before you make the announcement."

Ribbon tilted her head and shrugged as she sat in the recliner. "It doesn't seem like you have this very well planned out... How long ago did you contact up with this idea? Also why do you want to destroy the earth, and lastly.... I demand my ice cream to be paid in advance."

...ΨKenji felt his chest warm as Lumina held his hand, his smile growing and his eyes closing as a sudden rush of happiness flood his being. Listening to Lumina talk, he nodded his head in response as she spoke to him. He couldn't help but release a small laugh as Lumina released her breath in relief. He wanted to kiss her right then, but he figured there'd be a better time for that, his mind immediately thinking on when they went to bed. Kenji replied to Lumina as he stood up and began to lead her to his room, the lights dimming as they left the room. Making his way up the Euphorian styled stairs, he maintained his gentle, yet firm grip on Lumina's hand, his eyes occasionally looking back to Lumina. As they walked through the hallways, there were a lot of pictures hung up on the mahogany walls which showed Akira, Kenji and Marica's childhood, starting off from the pictures of when they were born, to when they left Euphoria. There was also a few family portraits along the walls. Among these pictures, there were moving pictures which showed the three heirs to the throne training, as well as Akira's coronation as King of Euphoria. After a few turns around the hallways, they arrived at his bedroom door, it being signified with the engraving of Kenji's name on it's dark mahogany frame. Pulling down the handle and opening the door, Kenji led Lumina into his room, closing the door behind her. He released Lumina's hand and walked over to the side of his bed, the side closest to the door, and spoke to his pair as he began to get undressed, no doubt expecting some kind of reaction from his shy fiancéeΨ...

You don't have to thank me, Lumi-chan. I'll always help you~ Yeah, it's getting late, we should go to bed before it gets any later~ I'm going to get undressed for bed, if you want, you could do the same~ I don't think it'd be very comfortable sleeping with our outdoor clothes on~

It's about the cause." She said before she later frowned. "The fact that other people abuse the lives of women in particular for profit, it's a terrible crime. It's probably even a crime against humanity. And as a Goddess, I must do what is right. I don't care if you give me offerings. Those offerings had better been obtained legally.'

Isuzu couldn't help but laugh at this man's lassez-faire attitude. He seemed like the kind of guy that just went with the flow of life wherever it took him, and that sincerely intrigued her. Perhaps it was because she was the same type of person, not really the type to plan things out and just kind of see what happened. His words and actions were endearing, and Inara found herself smiling without even meaning to. What a charming man he was. "It was no trouble, really. Glad I happened to see it at all." She shook her head, shifting her weight to her right leg and resting her free hand on her hip. She didn't have any reason to stand here, as she did have food in the bags on her arm that needed to be put away, but she did anyways. Maybe she wanted to make sure he actually was able to get into his apartment, even though he had found his key. Thankfully, it seemed to work, and the woman turned to go to her own apartment when she heard the braided stranger invite her to come in. She stopped, leaning toward his door for a moment before chuckling softly and waving the bag of food in his direction. "Well, if that's the case, I just went shopping so we can probably make something with this!" And with that, she entered his apartment, taking care to shut the door behind her. The barren apartment didn't really take her aback all that much, though the color of his garbs was a striking outcast from the rest of the living quarters. In Isuzu's opinion, it made him kind of look shiny. She took a moment to stop at the door to take off her shoes, though she didn't let go of the grocery bag until her shoes were off and she reached the kitchen, where she put down the bag on the counter to rifle through it. "Lets see... oh yeah, looks like I bought some stuff for stir fry... how's that sound?"

Equinox

Nox smiled pleasantly at Isuzu as she came in. Sitting himself down on the couch. "I don't mind stir fry, as long as you make lots I can eat it!" He smiled, taking off his cowl and setting it aside, he stretched and a few bones cracked in satisfaction from his stretching. "Oooohhh.....That hits the spot.." He then stood up quickly "Would you like help making the stir fry? I'd be honored!" He laughed, scratching his hair. "I hope that doesn't sound weird at all..!" Hopefully that didn't sound weird to Isuzu. He didn't want to make the girl feel awkward and leave...

Ribbon tilted her head and shrugged as she sat in the recliner. "It doesn't seem like you have this very well planned out... How long ago did you contact up with this idea? Also why do you want to destroy the earth, and lastly.... I demand my ice cream to be paid in advance."

"Well of course it isn't." Perfect said, resting his head in his arms. "The reason I want to destroy this place is for my amusement. After I destroy it, there's another place I have to go so I can start my slaughter there, but that's going to be a lot harder than it is here." he explained, smirking a little. "But I'll destroy the Earth if no one can put a fight to protect it, besides, aren't the humans already destroying this planet themselves?" Perfect soon stood up and grabbed his coat. "Come on then, we can get your ice cream now."

Kenai Yelil

Kenai laughed lightly "Is that so. Well, since you sound so sure..." He looked at the ground briefly after she said to make a snowman. He had never done any snow related activities other than shovelling it of the training rings back home so they could use them in winter, (( a job he actually didn't mind)), but he could atleast manage a snowman, he'd seen it done, he knew how it worked "Alright then. Let's build a snowman" he said gesturing his arms forward in way that meant for Asako to start.

Fuyumi giggled slightly. "I'm not sure if I'm using this word correctly, but your kinda naive. It's not about being on who's side.

Samara laughed a little, shaking her head "I don't think you quite understood me, just because I say I feel better at the thought of having you on my side, doesn't mean I think this is what it's about. I am fully aware of the cause, but as someone who originally intended to go into this alone, I think it's alright for me to take confort in having help, especially from someone who is considered to be a goddess. If you were in trouble, wouldn't you feel better knowing someone considered to be strong was helping you?" She raised an eyebrow at her for a moment in curiosity then sighed and shrugged "However, if you think I'm naive, I can't really change your mind, likelihood is that probably am...but you don't have to over analyze everything I say either. I'm just...happy to have help, that's all..."

"I guess so... Hmmmm, hey..." She said before she took out a lolipop. It looks like the same one that's in her mouth. She took it out of her pocket and held it out to Samara. She was offering her some. "You want a pop? It's just an offering..." Fuyumi said in a sort of soothing voice. The pop looked small and sweet. The color of it was blue. It had a wrapper around it saying cotton candy flavor. "I have other flavors if you wish."

Samara looks at the lolipop and tilts her head looking at it both in curiosity and confusion, she hadn't been in the outside world very long and wasn't familiar with every little thing. She knew knew what a lolipop was she had just never had one or cotton candy for that matter "Sure, it's alright I've never had either of those before so it should be a treat," She held her hand out wbf took the lolipop and unwrapped it, she smelled it first and then put in in her mouth seemingly surprised.  "It's good!"
