Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

"I've lost people before, yes, but to a point that seems nearly as impossible as that, no." Ramona responded. "I'm assuming you have though, and I can't say I know how to help someone who feels that way. You just have to be strong so you don't lose anymore, right?" she asked, looking at Raven.

"Sometimes these losses just can't be helped, can they?" She said as she crossed her arms leaning against a wall. "I shouldn't be telling you this... Let's not talk about that."

After packing away, KP also gets up.

"So, what time are you wanting?"

He plans on taking a quick shower, after putting away the only love he will ever experience - his guitar.

@Nona

Ariel hummed in thought for a moment, quickly glancing at her phone to check the time before slinging her bag onto her back. "Maybe around seven? We can meet up at the school gates since I don't live at the dorms" she suggested. It gave her enough time to walk home and get ready.

Snow: "I... I don't like hearing this Hime. I want it to stop." She whimpered out, frowning more as the noises grew louder. The water rushed beside them and Snow's discomfort made the small creek grow in size and danger.

"I'm afraid I can't stop what you're hearing but..." She soon turned her head to Snow before her blue eye started to glow and it engulfed Snow into a hallucination of a beautiful forest with birds chirping and no sounds of battle. In reality, Snow was now being held by Himeragi as she found a place to hide as the battle continued. Back in the hallucination, Himeragi seemed like a different person as she finished her sentence, her voice becoming soothing which was meant to calm Snow's mind and accepting this world. "...I can make you hear and see something else. I hope you don't mind my little... Eye Trick. It's okay. You'll be safe here. Just relax."

Samara listens to the conversation being held, she wants to say something, but feels weird about just butting into someone elses conversation. She'd lost family as well, all of them actually, maybe not to death and some of it admittedly was her own fault some were likely suffering rates worse than death. However; hearing her story made her think a lot about her own and made her curious "Excuse me, I know you said you wish not to speak of it anymore and I apologize for listening in on your conversation,  but may I ask you a question?" She wasn't wearing a uniform because she was new and hadn't quite understood the concept yet, she was more or less wearing a kimono with black leggings and boots and a slight accent kind of japanese-ish though it was only slightly noticeable.

Asako immediately smiled when she saw Kenai. It took a lot of self-control for her not to run up to him out of excitement. She walked over to him, grinning, "Are you ready to have the best day of your life?" she asked, although she was kidding, she was also being serious, snow days were the best. "We are going to do everything there possibly is to do with snow. A snowball fight, building a snowman, snow angel, building a snow fort, Every. Single. Thing.~"

Kenai Yelil

Kenai watched her walk over, holding in chuckle, he knew how hard she was trying to stay calm, he could see it in her face. "The best day of my life, huh? That's quite the statment to make" he asked with a slightly raised brow. Listening to her list it sounded like it would be pretty tiring too, but a promise was a promise after all. That and he actually wanted to spend the day with Asako anyways, he had grow quite accustomed to being pulled around by her since she always managed to pull him into something fun.

As soon as Raven heard the voice, she snapped her her to look at the voice's direction. She soon turned her body towards this new person. She then examined the way she talked and how she looked. She then made an assumption this girl was Japanese too. She sighed before she spoke in Japanese. "It's not nice to listen in on people's conversations..." She said before she went back to English. "What is it?"

Samurai sighed and nodded, blushing a bit from shame and embarrassment  "It sort of just happened by I apologize anyway," she replied back in Japanese before returning to English herself "I'm not sure if you know much about Yuki-Onna, actually it's highly unlikely any have been seen due to their preference to hide away from the rest of the world due to the horrendous crimes committed against them for the sake of greed. However; as one who values family and friends...do you...do you think it is selfish to choose your wants over what they want? Especially if it means you'll never see them again? My family...believed it was foolish of me to want to see the rest of the world, I believed it was stupid to hide from the world because of what some people do. For safety reasons they told me if I left that I was never allowed to come back and that I would never hear from or see them again, I would be exiled, and knowing that I left anyway. If it had been you...would have stayed? Should I have stayed?"

Raven thought of it for a second. "As for how I've become, I would do what my clan does. Will it be murder, steal, kidnap... Whatever the mission was, I'll do it. But now that I lead my clan, I can do whatever I want." She said as she removed her mask to reveal her face. A smile, sort of appearing. "However, I do have a twin brother, who betrayed the clan and left. You're like him. Except, he didn't want to do what the clan does anymore. Because his mentality was weak." She soon held her mask by her side as she looked at Samara. "The weak die, the strong live. Those are the rules. And I will do what I think is best for my people. And I still believe it was foolish of my brother to betray the clan. But like it mattered to us." She soon went back to Japanese again. "It may have not answered your question. But that's what I think."

Ramona blinked as she watched Raven take off her mask, showing a smile, which made Ramona herself smile a little. Seemed like she was opening up a bit more. She silently stood there, listening to Raven explain to the girl who had just joined them. Turned out she was listening the entire time. She had to agree with what Raven was saying though. Ramona too had stuck by her family, even in her absences, but that didn't seem to be the girl's case. They gave her a tough choice, and she went what felt was right to her. Ramona looked at Raven, "You're right on what you thought though, I do agree with you, but I think this girl here went on and followed her own desires which I think is perfectly fine too."

As the clones packed up, Kaori's things, they conversed about only things, Roman would think of himself. In his opinion, they sounded like idiots, then he thought about it and he soon realized that he called himself an idiot. "Alright you two. Take these suitcases back to my place. Get a room set up and ready for Kaori upon our arrival. If anyone asks where I am, just tell them I'm out doing some important business, that being said, have fun doing my paperwork for the day." The clones groaned in annoyance as they all walked out of the back room, Roman following behind them, though they soon disappeared and went to his house. Roman made his way into the kitchen where he was told Kaori she'd be, "Hey, you're all packed up." he said, giving her a thumbs up. "My clones are gonna get you a room set up when we head that way. We'll have it custom made to suit your needs." he told her.

Roman then turned to the window he was looking out of when he arrived, "And you don't have to thank me for none of this." He said, raising his hand and then lowering it in a lazy fashion. "I just want you to be as comfortable as possible in my home... Consider your home now too. You're free to stay as long as you want, even after your kids are grown up. It's always nice to have someone like you around." turning back around, he looked at Kaori with a smile, "Oh and I know it's sudden, but don't think too much on it. You know why I did this, and that being said, you know I care about you. We can hangout for a bit if you want. Go grab some lunch or something, or we can just head to my house now. I'm leaving all decisions to you as I have all day. My wife is away on some trip with our daughter so it's not like I'm looking forward to returning home or anything in the first place, and my son... Well he does his own thing, so all my attention is yours. No one else's." he told Kaori, placing an arm around her with a smile. "So, what do ya wanna do?"

KAORI HANA

Even in the kitchen, Kaori could hear the clones running about packing all of her things in the apartment. It's not like there was all that much stuff, considering she had pretty much run away from the Home and it's not like she had many things anyways. Honestly most of what she had was the stuff she had collected at her own apartment, and the things that Roman had gotten for her while she had stayed here. So there wasn't much work for the clones to do, and they seemed to finish up pretty quick from what Kaori could tell from the kitchen. Being in the kitchen surrounded by food, Kaori's food cravings came back (pickles and hot sauce, seriously?) and had to steel herself to only drink water, considering how she'd been throwing up all day. Food was the last thing she needed right now.

She couldn't help but overhear what Roman was telling his clones, how he was out on "important business." If that was the case, then that meant that she was the important business. A light blush formed on her cheeks at the thought. She already believed him that he cared for her, but it was still nice to know that she was actually important to him as well. It only grew when she suddenly heard her favorite voice behind her, stating that she was all packed. Trying to calm her blush down, Kaori turned around, taking another drink of water before placing it on the kitchen counter. "T-that's good to hear. Roman, than-" The kunoichi spoke, but stopped herself once Roman began speaking again. He was saying how she didn't need to thank him, even though that was literally what she had almost done. He continued on by saying how she could consider his home her home from now on. The thought was a comforting one - honestly, even with her own apartment, she couldn't remember the last time that she really felt like anywhere was home. To think that her home would be the same place that Roman called home... yeah. That was a nice thought. "It's nice to be around you too," Kaori added, giving him a small smile.

Now that his duty of packing her things for her new home was complete, he apparently had nothing to do for the rest of the day. Kaori's smile faltered a bit as he mentioned how his wife was gone on a trip and that's why he wasn't looking forward to going home, but it never truly left her face, as she didn't want to raise concern with him. She couldn't show him that she was upset about his marital status, the kunoichi knew that he cared for his wife, as she expected he would, so any discontent from Kaori wouldn't sit well with Roman. So, she'd just have to ignore that fact for now if she wanted to even enjoy her time with him. "I-I'm good on food, so we don't have to waste time on that," she spoke once he gave her options as to what they could do for the day. Her words came out a little faster than she wanted or expected, but her opinion was dead set on food. Didn't want to waste his time by being sick. "We could go do something, I heard they opened an aquarium/zoo just recently, that sounds like it could be fun." Really, if Kaori was being honest, doing anything at all with him sounded like fun. Her blush darkened a bit at the feeling of his arm around her, but she wasn't going to run away from it. It was a nice feeling and she wanted to hold onto it as much as she could.

"I see, well I personally never saw a reason  why we should have to hide maybe I thought if I left they would eventually see too. I found it better than sitting everyday paranoid and worried about jewel slavers. I didn't rule out that my decision may not have been the best for the entire clan...however," She sighed crossing her arms as she looked at Raven "I don't much like being forced into things. No matter how safe and beautiful it is, a cage is still a cage, it's practically no different from the ones that opress us...only it's sadder because we do it to ourselves," She went back to speaking Japanese, smiling a bit herself "I'm not sure if it actually answered my question, but it did remind me of the full reasons for my choice...I miss them, but I do not regret this," She bowed her head in respect and smiled returning to English "Thank you for your time, we may not think exactly the same, but it was still nice to talk to you."

"What's you're name?" She asked in Japanese. Somehow, this girl peaked her interest. She felt like she looked familiar. She wasn't sure in the slightest. "And what is this... Yuki-onna? I've never heard of that..."

Samara scratched her head slightly and replied back in Japanese "My name is Samara,  Samara Rozenwyn," She looked at the sky for a moment then back at Raven and gently exhaled, causing a slight breeze that felt like winter's chill for a brief moment  "Yuki-Onna, are Yokai with powers over ice and snow, they are powerful enough to make it snow it the summer and freeze over active volcanoes. They are a race, strictly made up of females with the ability to reproduce asexually. However; by using this method the Yuki-Onna can only have one child and the child will always be female. Yuki-Onna are often the victims of slave crimes because when a Yuki-Onna cries our tears freeze over and turn into rare jewels that only we produce on top of an even more unique jewel that is only produced during child birth. However; only one jewel is created per child so the crimes committed against us if capture often include torture...among other disgusting things. Yuki-Onna can reproduce with and species,  but they choose to keep to themselves so most these days were born asexually,"

"I see..." She said before something sparked in her mind. They were weak. But why did she get a vibe to protect them? Why did this thought come up now? The weak die, the strong live. Instead, she should've thought that they should die if they were so weak. But instead, she felt a need to protect them. She soon held her head with one hand and sighed. "...The weak die... The strong live... I'll have to make this an exception..." She said before she took out a scrap of paper and wrote a phone number on it and gave it to Samara. "Raven Karasu. If you know of such a place where these... Yuki-Onna get held captive... Let me know."

Ramona having mostly been quiet throughout their discussion decided to butt in for a second time, "Me too! Let me know too... I'm willing to help if I can in anyway." she said, rubbing her arm nervously. "I didn't introduce myself yet... I'm Ramona." she said, smiling a little. "But yes, I am willing to help your people."

Samara takes the paper slightly confused as she took the paper from Raven as she listened she and Romona offer to help her people who had been held captive,  blinking a few times. She had planned to look into the issue to see if anyone from the outside world knew anything about these crimes, she had believed she might even have to take care of this herself at the risk of being captured. However; having help was...kind of a relief. "I see...Raven Karasu and...Romona...thank you, I will remember this and I will definitely let you know when I know anything," Samara smiled, and actually cried a little, not much only about four tears, but she honestly didn’t expect for people to be so nice and be willing to help her so quickly if at all. The tears froze over before they hit the ground,  turning into four bead sized jewels, that were clear and sparkled more than a diamond. She sighed and blushed a little embarrassed, compared to how other spices cried it felt a little awkward to have jewels falling out of your eyes in front of other people. "I'm...sorry, I'll pick those up, I try to refrain from crying in front of people...it gets a little weird," She kneeled down to pick up the jewels and pull them in a little pouch on her belt.

Nox smiled as she talked, finally noticing her attire was similar to his. Was she from Egypt? He wondered what her nationality was, but he would get into that later. Then she spoke of the key...Key? His key was in his braid..? He went to check, and blinked as he saw the key tied into the end of his braid. "So this is where you've been hiding!" He said to the key as if it was alive, sighing and shaking his head as he slid it out of the braid. "Well, thank you for helping me find my key then! I would have surely been in some deep trouble if you didn't find it!"
He chuckled, finally sliding the key into the hole and unlocking the door, opening up the apartment. Inside seemed almost barren, a couch, bed, a small table in the corner near the kitchen window. No personality, nor any color to emulate the man and his bright colors he wore. He set the bag aside when he strolled in, looking back at her "I don't have visitors but you can come inside if you like, set those bags down for a while. I don't think I have a lot of food in the fridge..So I'm unsure if I could make something for either of us. That is if you'd like to stay for a bit!"

ISUZU INARA

c45f98fe7a6da3c3f588dd3f5287900e.jpg

Isuzu couldn't help but laugh at this man's lassez-faire attitude. He seemed like the kind of guy that just went with the flow of life wherever it took him, and that sincerely intrigued her. Perhaps it was because she was the same type of person, not really the type to plan things out and just kind of see what happened. His words and actions were endearing, and Inara found herself smiling without even meaning to. What a charming man he was. "It was no trouble, really. Glad I happened to see it at all." She shook her head, shifting her weight to her right leg and resting her free hand on her hip. She didn't have any reason to stand here, as she did have food in the bags on her arm that needed to be put away, but she did anyways. Maybe she wanted to make sure he actually was able to get into his apartment, even though he had found his key. Thankfully, it seemed to work, and the woman turned to go to her own apartment when she heard the braided stranger invite her to come in. She stopped, leaning toward his door for a moment before chuckling softly and waving the bag of food in his direction. "Well, if that's the case, I just went shopping so we can probably make something with this!" And with that, she entered his apartment, taking care to shut the door behind her. The barren apartment didn't really take her aback all that much, though the color of his garbs was a striking outcast from the rest of the living quarters. In Isuzu's opinion, it made him kind of look shiny. She took a moment to stop at the door to take off her shoes, though she didn't let go of the grocery bag until her shoes were off and she reached the kitchen, where she put down the bag on the counter to rifle through it. "Lets see... oh yeah, looks like I bought some stuff for stir fry... how's that sound?"

"You'd be surprised." She said before she turned away to an opening. She soon put on her mask once again and unsheathed her sword. She soon sliced at the air as it made a red-portal to where it leads is unknown. She looks back and spoke before walking towards to portal. "She might help you the most."

Ilaani

UjXNxhr.gif

Closing over one for her notebooks, she stashed it in her rucksack. "Well, that's that out of the way..." She said quietly to herself, stretching a bit before she stood up from the table she was sitting at. She had shoved her studies out of the way for today, which she was glad about. As happy as she was to get the chance to actually go to school, this magical theory stuff always bummed her out when she had to study it, not being a magical being herself, she didn't have as quick of a grasp of it as her classmates. Slinging the bag over her shoulder, Ilaani left the room and headed for outside. Outside the exit of the library was a vending machine that she always stopped at to get a snack from when she finished studying. Walking over and putting the money in, she chose her snack, only for it to get stuck on its way out. She grumbled in annoyance, leaning back a bit "Are we going to go through this today again?" She asked, probably sounding like a crazy person. But it was always just her luck that the machine would jam when she got to it. She sighed a little before giving the machine a swift kick with her foot, causing the cereal bar she had chosen out to fall. With a nod of approval she took her bar and started on her way out of the school grounds.

Des sighed as he dashed along the sidewalk, cracking the concrete slightly with each stride. Turning back and looking over his shoulder Des sighed as he saw the helicopter gunships still following him. Honestly, he would have thought the Japanese government would have done something by now. This was obviously disregarding a few international treaties, even if he had accidentally strayed onto one of their military bases, but still. He had even apologized to them, yet they still were chasing after him. Des wondered if he had accidentally offended some big shot in the military. That was possible, Des really didn't have much tact. Although if he was honest, Des would have preferred that they got a bit more accurate, it was rather annoying having to constantly protect his surroundings. Dashing along Des looked back and sighed when he saw the helicopter fire a pair of missiles and he was even more annoyed when those missiles almost immediately strayed from heading towards him towards the surrounding buildings. Flicking his fingers, walls of pale green energy appeared on either side of the street and the missiles harmlessly collided with them, causing no damage. At this point Des was rather fed up with the damn military firing rockets at him so growling in frustration he pointed at the helicopter and flicked his fingers once more causing a pale green cube to neatly appear around the heli, causing the heli as it attempted to fly out of the cube to crash against the side of the cube and explode, detonating the remaining missiles on the gunship and create a very large explosion, yet everything was neatly contained inside the cube. Sighing Des shook his head and pulled out his book from the shoulder bag he wore before releasing the green energy around him and allowing the remaining wreckage of the gunship to fall to the ground, "If i dont get out of here fast, then i'm going to end up on the 5 O'clock news, and thats not going to be any good." then turning, Des buried his nose in his book and "jumped" to the other side of the city. When he reemerged, he figured that about 45 minutes had probably passed when suddenly he found himself starring at the sky. Wondering why he was now on his back, Des sat up only to see another girl sprawled out on the ground in front of him. "welp..... this is awkward....Uh..... sorry?"

((i couldn't figure out how to introduce Des, so i figured teleport to faceplant sounded good XDD ))

"You'd be surprised." She said before she turned away to an opening. She soon put on her mask once again and unsheathed her sword. She soon sliced at the air as it made a red-portal to where it leads is unknown. She looks back and spoke before walking towards to portal. "She might help you the most."

@Roman

Samara tilts her head, still confused about who this she is. She also wasn't sure about walking through strange portals made by people she'd only just met, but...Raven seemed nice enough so she figured she could trust it and if not, it wasn't like she was incapable of taking care of herself so she began to follow her through portal "I guess if it helps it can't hurt right?" She shrubs slightly as she walked into the red portal.

They soon appeared near a snowy village-looking place. It seemed they were on a mountain. There were crows and ravens flying around. People in the village walking around wearing something similar to Raven. But they didn't have masks. "This is the home of my people. But we're not going there." She said before turning her back to the village and began walking the opposite direction from it. "She lives near here."

Samara looked around as they exited the portal to a village she was a bit surprised to find was Raven's home, the look of it combined with snow reminded her a lot of her home, well used to be home, and on top of that you could see the sky, and not a cave ceiling. She turned to follow her as they continued in the opposite direction of the village to find this she they were here to find. "This place reminds me a lot of my home...only we lived in the mountain, not on it,"
