Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Talia hummed to herself as she made a couple buckets appear along with some little shovels. "Alright, lets get down to business. Now I know it won't be the best sandcastle, but since you helped make it Zenya, it'll be one of the greatest." she said with a smile. "First we have to collect some sand into a pile." With those words, Talia took her bucket and used the ocean water to get the sand to be a little more dense and it'll stay in place. "The other can stay dry just in case." She then filled the bucket up with sand and dumped it out, the sand being a little damp due to the water that was inside the bucket.

Zenya just watched. She wondered what was in the ocean. She looked out at the see and saw something shining in the water. She pointed at it before she asked softly. ''There's...something shining in the water.''

Serenity smiled wide. "Oh, I love friendships." As she spoke, a serene breeze rolled over the park and a sense of calming fell over everyone. "Gee, I actually hadn't had a friend in a while...." She said in a sheepish way as she shook Ramona's hand.

Ramona smiled as Serenity stated that she loved friendships, in which she fully agreed with her. "Yeah, me too!" She told her happily as her hand was finally shook. When Serenity mentioned the fact that she hadn't had a friend in a while, this caught her off guard honestly. She seemed like a nice person so for her to have gone so long without a friend was quite the surprise. When the handshake was finished, Ramona winked at Serenity and pointed a finger at her, "Well, that's not something to worry about anymore. You've got a friend standing right in front you now~" This was followed up with a light giggle as she put her hand down, "Maybe we can get lunch sometime, y'know... Do what all friends do, just spend time together and have fun while they're at it. What do you say?"

(((( It doesn't say anything :ppp ))))

"I didn't ask for input" Ken said as he dropped Zeke. "You're failing the test already as it is. Don't rush." He then put his hands in his pockets and turned to him. "You're lucky I even agreed to training you. I'm only doing this because one day I want to fight you again and I want it to be you fighting me at full power... Not some half assed kicks and punches," he told him

Zeke looked at ken ,“how about we train right after I eat.” Zeke said looking at ken as they walked to Ken's home,“maybe I'll learn new techniques Like summoning stuff that would be awesome!” Zeke said while imagining him having bone claws,“ Maybe I'll awakening a new power that I never knew I had I wonder what it will be like. Training will be so awsome. One question what is your house like and how many people live there?”Zeke said will rubbing his head and walking at the same time.

Quaza Keido

Quaza blinked a few times and tilted his head. "Outside?" He asked before going to the really small window. He looked down and could hardly see the ground. Just a dense forest... With a few gnarled trees. That was enough to tip him back. "Okay okay, maybe I'm overdoing it a bit. I'm sorry you 2." He told them. "I'll try to limit my daily magic rituals to once per day." Then, he quickly ran over to a book. "Hey, since your both here, why not have a bite to eat?" He asked them before finding a spell and grabbing his staff, waving it in a specific way to make spaghetti and meatballs appear on a nearby table. Probably Quaza's dining table. It was kinda small, meaning Quaza probably didn't get visitors too often. Maybe he was quite lonely most of the time?

Celia smiled and nodded when Quaza came to an understanding. "Good, Han, do you with to accept his hospitality?" She asked him lightly, looking up at him more cheerfully now.

Han sighed in relief when Quaza agreed to relac a bit on how much energy he was emitting into the wilderness. He then looked at Celia with a smile, "We didn't have to fight after all.. We're getting better at this." he told her as his attention was turned to Quaza who offered them food. seeing how he hadn't eaten anything before hand, he could go for some spaghetti. "Yeah, I will Celia. You should have some too. It'd be nice and we could even take this time as a little celebration."

Satoshi

Satoshi shook his head. "It's okay Leia, don't be so down on yourself. You want to be great at this sort of thing right?" He asked her curiously, scratching his head lightly. "Well... I think if you want to be good at something, you gotta be committed, dedicated... And most of all... You need to believe you can do it. Self fulfilling prophecy, y'know?" He explained to her.

Leia Roux

She nodded when he asked if she wanted to be good at magic and spells and curses. She did, she had been working her butt off to be good at this stuff since she was a kid. "I'm trying that. It was just, when I couldn't figure out how to break you curse I felt really bad, since I had promised I'd cure it" she said, smiling sheepishly.

ASTRID FINCHETT

Astrid was still breathing hard as Alejandro went down. She didn't even flinch as the ground cracked beneath him, though it was slightly surprising to see that she had that kind of strength especially against someone like Blue. God he really pissed her off. Like, really pissed her off. Why did she had to be partnered with such a... before the thought could form in her head, Alejandro was responding, and he took her off guard by showing her the necklaces that she had bought. Even though she bought it with him in mind, she wasn't actually sure if she wanted to give it to him. It was just a stupid, impulse purchase. Right?

The redhead found herself just staring at Alejandro with what was probably a dumbfounded look as he stood up and began talking as if he had been here the whole time. She stared as he put on the necklace, her anger growing again. "o...of COURSE I care!! You're my partner!! Partners don't just.. disappear!" Astrid grit her teeth as Blue tried to explain herself, only getting more upset by his words. "What, do you not trust my ability? Not trust that we'd be fine together? Like leaving me behind would keep me safe, who says I want to just stay safe?! You don't just... leave your partner behind..!" As she spoke, she could feel the tears stinging her eyes, but she didn't care, even though she hated it. Why could this boy, of all people, make her get like this? Without realizing it, Astrid's hair lightened to a more orange color, her eyes changing to match. It was a form that came from (unwittingly) showing a side of her that she had never shown anyone before: vulnerability.

"Damnit...!" Astrid covered her face to wipe away the liquid pooling at her eyes, hating that this was happening. She wouldn't admit she was crying, especially since none of the tears had made it past her eyes. Her eyes were covered as Alejandro came closer and placed the snowflake necklace around her neck, which caused her to look up at Alejandro with surprise. "Home? Y-yeah, sure, I guess..."

Standing there, the snow began to fall and as Alejandro listened to Astrid's rant. His appearance changing once more, again due to his emotions as he wasn't filled with rage anymore, but instead a feeling he was most unfamiliar with. He didn't know what it was, but there wasn't anyway he could ignore it. His hair fell straight and became jet black. He simply looked at her, and when she finished talking, he sighed lightly and grit his teeth, making a fist with one of his hands. He then exhaled and took Astrid's hands in his own, "I'm sorry. Next time I won't leave you behind, but I just had a bad feeling about taking you with me. I know now that I wouldn't have to worry about it... You're strong and I should acknowledge that." he told her as he gently let her hands go, turning around so his back was facing her now.

Alejandro took a few steps forward, seeing that the local authorities had arrived to check out the scene, along with an ambulance and firetruck. He looked back at Astrid, and smiled a little. "You've been through enough today, at least let me carry you home." he told her, the snow coming to a sudden stop. Alejandro made his way closer to her, "You'll have to be quick on your decision though, don't want those guys to catch us on the sight of a "crime scene"."

Zenya just watched. She wondered what was in the ocean. She looked out at the see and saw something shining in the water. She pointed at it before she asked softly. ''There's...something shining in the water.''

Talia blinked and looked up at Zenya, "Really? It might be something cool, we should check it out really quick... Not like our pile of sand is going anywhere anytime soon." She said with a laugh, now making her way over to the water. She soon motioned for Zenya to follow her over to it and show her where it was coming from.

Alejandro was sipping his tea, and when Giselle said what she said, he almost choked, but luckily caught it just in time to get the liquid down safely. "A-Ah.. Oh." Alejandro was at a lost for words and the best thing he figured he could do was look the other way to hide his awkward blush... Which is exactly what he did. "So... You stay here alone?" he asked, still trying to avoid eye contact so she wouldn't notice his face.

--Giselle--

"No, my roomates are off doing whatever. I stay here with my friends Ruri and Scarlet." She said as she noshed on a cookie from the tray. "So tell me, what is there to do around here, other than flirt with you?" she said as she began flipping through her phone to check messages. Ruri had sent her report, but other than attempting to max out mommies credit card, the Little Miss was okay.

--Giselle--

"Be careful what you ask for, I just may decide to go for broke and attempt to learn everything about you." she said coyly as she sipped her tea, as her exaggeratedly long sleeves barely moved as she brought the teacup to her gentle lips.

--Ashukira--

It decided to order. "I will have some tea and the house special if you do not mind." it spoke politely.

--Misafune--

(I assume we are leaving the area, so I will pick up from the point of the lessons conclusion.)

Dusting himself off, he offers her his hand as the path out of the clearing was not exactly smooth. " Maybe tomorrow we can move on to something else?" he spoke as he navigated the exposed roots and rocks leading out.

--Hector--

He sat with her for awhile longer. "You are very nice to hang out with. We should do this more often." he complimented her as he relaxed after his many fatalities.

--Achilles--

He could barely move. He was left confused as his body barely responded to his commands, and he did not like it one bit. "Yumi, I am thirsty. Are you okay?" he spoke with a dry, coarse voice.

((That's what I thought was happening.))

"Chiharu." he spoke out a little. He was worried about her. He actually harbored thoughts of adopting her when he graduated. But finding her was tops. Last time he had seen her was in the infirmary. "Do you think she is still resting?" he asked Rini, as he walked with her. "I could check really quickly.." he spoke as he removed two wooden thin plates with beautiful etchings carved into the surface. Pressing them to his forehead he chanted..

Oh servants of mine, hear my plea.

Solve my problems and come to me.

He tossed the plates that were beginning to glow to the ground, and in an over dramatic theatrical show of smoke and flashing lights, two little girls leaped at him with the ferocity of wild animals. Soon his cheeks were being pinched and stretched...

Rini Yelil

Rini slowed her walking speed for a moment at his words "I really do hope so. She seemed okay when we left, I just hope she didn't get scared and run off. That notion now pulled at the back of her mind now, making her feel a bit worried and anxious for the little girl. She looked to Misafune when he said he could check, she smiled with a bit of relief washing over as she nodded in agreement. But she wasn't expecting the show that started up right beside her. She watched him with curious and confused eyes. Her eyes widening when two little girls appeared and jumped Misafune. Although she was worried about Chiharu, she honestly couldn't help but giggle at the two girls that were pulling and pinching at his cheeks "Oh? Who are these two?" She asked with a smile.

...ΨKenji looked at his pair as she spilled her feeling out to him, his hand moving to cup his cheek as she spoke. Through all the stuttering, Kenji could tell that Lumina was feeling horrible about the situation. In truth, Kenji was happy to be with Lumina again, like he always was. Seeing his pair crying infront of him was devastating, he never wanted to see her cry, as each time he did his heart broke. He could feel her fear and sadness slowly slip away as they both embraced each other, but he couldn't help but rub her cheek with his thumb. With a bright smile, Kenji moved his face closer to Lumina's and replied, shortly before he placed a kiss onto her foreheadΨ...

Lumina... you are my family. Without you, the celebrations would be pointless. What good is celebrating the new year when you don't have the woman you love by your side?~ Besides, we still have half an hour before the bells ring for the New Year, so it's not like we're missing anything~

LUMINA

441045-439024_shiemi_gets_frighten_ep._11.png

The tears that were left in Lumina's eyes were gone now, either dried up or wiped away by Kenji's gentle touch. His embrace had stopped any shaking that her body was doing, so it was easier for Lumina to think now. The cold night air seemed significantly less cold with their combined heat, which in reality was actually quite a lot, considering who they were. It was one of the reasons why they worked so well together, in Lumina's opinion. And even though she was having one of her many moments, here Kenji was, still looking at her with the same smile she had fallen in love with all that time ago. How he could just smile all the time was beyond her comprehension. Sometimes, it felt like smiling was the hardest thing to do. Lumina felt like Kenji was one of the few people who could actually make her smile.

Lumina looked up at Kenji leaned forward, her eyes locked on his as he gave his response. She was his family? The thought didn't really occur to her much, if at all. He was the closest thing she had to family, but somewhere in her mind it got twisted that he didn't think the same way. How could she have been so stupid? She would have thought more about that if her attention wasn't brought to the last thing that Kenji had said. There was still half an hour to midnight? So it wasn't too late after all? Lumina's eyes widened and her gaze dropped, both in realization and embarrassment at blurting out incorrect information. "There's still time?" she spoke aloud, more along the lines of thinking out loud. Though her face didn't really show it, she was really happy that she hadn't missed it yet.

"Oh, white? Same as my sister." Ansom nodded. "She adores it actually." He didn't seem to notice the trailing of Celaena's voice. He obviously had other things on his mind. He walked in silent for a few more minutes, his thoughts droning on while the sounds of the mall erupted around him.

The god had gone a long while without using his power and doing so really made him feel off. Even doing something as simple as making a man hear thousands of voices at one telling him to jump off a cliff, made Ansom's insanity level rise. Maybe clothing would help him get to a right state of mind.

"Here we are, madam." He stood and gestured to the doorway like it was some grand entrance. He gave a small laugh and walked inside the open doors. Racks and shelves of clothes were obviously everywhere. Pants, shirts, jackets, and even cheap accessories lined the walls.

CELAENA

"Oh, you have a sister?" Celaena piped up, after Ansom's comment that she shared a favorite color with his sister. She didn't really know much about him other than his name and that he was kind enough to help out an out-of-place stranger, but that made sense considering they had only met just recently. "Well, white is a nice color to enjoy." she added, running a hand through her own similarly-colored locks. As Celaena followed Ansom, she couldn't help but notice that there weren't many people with the same hair color as herself. Was it really that strange of a color? Was she really that out of place? The more she existed in this world, the more that theory seemed to come true. Well, that was why they were here, to hopefully fix that and help her blend in.

The fae nearly bumped into Ansom as he stood in the door way of the clothing store, lost in her own thoughts about her hair and what that meant for herself in this world. "Oh. This is it?" The question came out slightly derogatory and vain, though she didn't mean it like that at all. It was meant as a genuine question, and she hoped Ansom took it like that. To try and smooth it over, she stepped into the store and looked around, marveling at the sights. Compared to the interior of the mall, which had occasional plants in pots, this store was nothing but metal and stone and other non-natural materials. But even still, all the clothing was more beautiful than she had ever seen before, and her worry about the lack of nature seemed to not matter anymore. Like a kid in a candy shop, Celaena began flitting between all the racks and shelves, looking at all the clothes the store had to offer. Occasionally shed even be so bold as to touch one and feel the strangeness and wonderfulness of the different textures. A smile had bloomed on her face as she took in the sights and tried to decide on her favorites.

Yuto

Yuto blushed lightly at her words. She always knew just what to say to him, even if she did forget everything. "Well, I should be thanking you more, it's not everyday you meet somebody as wonderful as you." He laughed in a flirty tone before being a bit more honest. "Having you around the house has been great, I consider it a blessing. Stay here as long as you like. I'll be taking down our Christmas Decorations for the New Year~" He said before heading towards the door, getting ready to take down a missletoe.

NOIR

Noir shook her head at Yuto's words. "I'm not anyone you should thank. I literally owe my life to you, because you were the one that found me after I woke up with no memory." she scribbled on the paper before grabbing a bunch of basil to slice. It was true; if Yuto hadn't have found her, who knows what would have happened to her? Well, she didn't have to think of that, because now she was here, living well so far. In recent days, especially with the whole Christmas-means-buying-presents thing, Noir had been considering getting a job to help out with expenses. But, she wouldn't worry Yuto with that, so she'd have to do it on her own after the holiday. Yeah, that was a good idea. Noir turned around as she heard Yuto moving a chair to take down the mistletoe, before scribbling down some words. "Um.. what is that?"

Zenya nodded and made her way to the water as well, where the shining was. It seemed to keep shining. Talia should also be able to see it. ''It just keeps shining.''

Ken continued to walk, "We will. There wont be any lacking on your training. I want my orders to be taken seriously." He told Zeke, not even turning around to make eye contact. If Zeke wanted Ken to train him, he should know how serious he was about it. When asked about what his home is like and who does he live with, he simply answered, "My fiance and her family." he told him as they continued on their path.

CELAENA

"Oh, you have a sister?" Celaena piped up, after Ansom's comment that she shared a favorite color with his sister. She didn't really know much about him other than his name and that he was kind enough to help out an out-of-place stranger, but that made sense considering they had only met just recently. Ansom nodded. "Yeah, her name is Serenity. She's sort of a pain but I guess she's cool. You guys have the same weird hair color." He laughed to show that he was teasing. When she made her remark about the store, the god shrugged. "Yeah, it's not the greatest of places....but it IS a mall." He said with a nod. Malls didn't always have the most luxurious stores to shop in.

As Celaena wandered about the store, Ansom walked over to a counter and began to browse the watches. None of them were ones he wanted or didn't already have. He sighed and shrugged, moving over to the ties. "I remember why I never shop around here. No class" He muttered before walking over to his new found acquaintance. "Just...uh...find something that looks nice. I'm starving."

--Mikazuki/Akiyo--

After punishing Misafune enough for whatever crime he committed, the twin girls stood and bowed properly to the Deer girl. "I am Mikazuki, and this is my sister Akiyo." the girl in black introduced herself and her sister, as their three tails swished. "We are his Shikigami. Please forgive our dense master." they apologized and bowed again. "Now what do you need us to do, besides spoil an almost passable date?" they spoke, turning on Misafune with puffed out cheeks.

--Misafune--

Flustered, he gets up and dusts himself off. "What I need you both to is to go to the school and find this girl and see if she remains in the infirmary." he spoke as he touched his forehead and used the other hand to touch each girls forehead. With two deep bows and Akiyo almost falling over, they vanish, leaving a small whirlwind of leaves. "They can check the infirmary and return quicker than us going there ourselves." he spoke gently to Rini, as he rubbed his sore cheeks.

@Roman

Alejandro only got redder and soon was hanging off the side of the couch in an attempt to hide his entire face from view, "Erm... I... I don't know. Usually when I head out, I don't run into people who want to flirt with me. I guess one thing to do is just do as we are, getting to be friends and stuff." he said with a nervous laugh. He didn't know exactly why he was nervous, but he was.

Serenity nodded quickly. "Oh, yes. Lunch sounds amazing. Especially with an actual other person than my brother and his daughter." She giggled slightly. "I'm free any part of the day. It's kind of sad really." She shrugged and gave a small shrug. "Anyway....you're obviously gifted...may I ask with what?"

Things had calmed down finally. No people coming after them, no real danger in the world at the moment, just living peacefully. Lilliana had grown up a bit, aging to around 10 years old now, and was settled in quite nicely. She had grown quite used to, and quite fond of, the life that they lived away from the school. Her adoptive father, who she thought of as nothing but her father, had begun homeschooling them only recently, but it was the holidays now so he had given them a break, at least for a little while. Lilliana was always the studious type, so she did like learning things and her father's lessons, but she was also a child. She enjoyed being able to just relax and do what she wanted for a little while. She wasn't really familiar with Christmas or New Years, so it's not like she was losing anything to be celebrating the Winter Solstice instead. She thought it was a cool thing to celebrate anyways.

But at the moment, she was in the living room with her brother watching Television. It was the cartoon channel, with colorful creature animations doing funny stuff. She didn't really understand it, but it was entertaining, so both children did seem to enjoy it. What made the experience even better was that the duo managed to convince their father to let them have a single sweet each before dinner, with the promise that they'd eat all the healthier things at dinner. They were each given a bun with sweet red bean paste inside, a dessert that both kids really enjoyed. Lilliana was careful to not eat the whole thing at once, even thought she wanted to, because she wanted to savor it while it lasted. She took slow bites as she watched TV, having a great time. But her brother was not so careful, and sooner rather than later he had eaten the whole thing, to Lilliana's amusement. That is, until he tried to convince her to let him have some of hers.

"No. Len, you already had yours! Yours was bigger anyways!"

This worked for a while until he tried to sneak bits off of hers. Now she was getting upset.

"Papa, Len's trying to take my dessert!"

Ayen & Len Naefaerne

Ayen couldn't help but snicker at Lilliana's complaints. Sure, he was going to step in and stop Len, but he also knew how he and Len, and probably his whole race adored sweets. So after he slid a tray of assorted mint and chocolate cookies into the heap of stone bricks and wood that was their oven, Ayen snagged the last stuffed bun and walked into the living room.

Of course, like any place he called his own, he walked around as if he was king; and when he came up behind the sofa Ayen promptly smacked Len upside the head. Of course, Len not being fully developed physically and the pure and utter power difference between him and his father lead to his head and rest of his body moving a few feet to the side. But through the training Len had been through in the past several months, his body had become more durable, but not pain resistant, thus leading to an "ow."

"Now Len, what have I said about taking others food?" Ayen questioned in an amused tone as he sat down next to Lilliana.

"That it's rude and not right, so I shouldn't do it?" Len answered grumpily as he rubbed his head and glared at his father.

"That's right!" Ayen proclaimed with a slight chuckle while holding up the last stuffed bun and looked over at Lilliana "However, you get no more sweets till tomorrow Len, thus, Lily gets this last one!" Ayen finished in a tone similar to how gameshow hosts would announce special prizes as he handed the bun to Lilliana.
