Nico smiled, feeling giddy from the small peck. She tried hiding her cheeks from blushing any deeper. "We're already at the park, so why not here?" she suggested. 

Drakon nodded. "Yea, it's a nice and peaceful spot, so why not?" He laughed as he sat her down under a tree. "I'm gonna go get us something to eat. I'll be right back okay?" He told her as he ran quickly to the nearest street vendor, ordering them cotton candy.

The disdainful look on Hyou's face didn't escape Skylar's gaze. She noticed it, and hated it. The thought of her best friend and boyfriend, the two most important people in her life, not liking each other was heartbreaking. She could understand where each side was coming from, but it didn't make it any less awful. There was a moment of tension in the air between all three of them before Hyou turned and smiled at Skylar, making her heart beat faster as his heterochromatic eyes locked on hers. Her own blue eyes expanded in intrigue as he stated that he learned guitar while she was recovering. So he kept it a secret from her? "O-oh, I see. I'd love to hear you play sometime, if that's alright." Skylar responded, a smile finally forming on her lips. And then he mentioned their coffee

Astrid wanted to puke. On top of the fact that Hyou was getting on her nerves, the whole scene was way too cute for her own good. She didn't understand the appeal in acting like that. What was the point of romance, anyways? Letting someone in just to get yourself hurt in the end? No way. Sure, dating could be fun, but that's all it would ever be. Astrid could never see herself being serious about that kind of thing anyways. "Doesn't mean I have to like it." Astrid muttered under her breath so neither the dragon nor her friend could hear her, after narrowing her eyes at Hyou after his snide comment about being around. She doubted she'd ever warm up to him, even if it was someone who mattered to Skylar. Not this guy. Not after what he did to her.

Skylar glanced back at Astrid to see her annoyed expression, deciding that was a good time to move on from the situation. "Coffee sounds great! I'm fine with going now, since you said you don't have much time." Skylar didn't think much on Hyou's words, but Astrid did. He mentioned "the boy," and the only one who he could possibly be talking about would have to be Alejandro. Almost immediately, Astrid's tone changed from annoyed to curious and almost worried, looking at Hyou with a wide-eyed expression. Though, it was more like a subconscious reaction, one that Astrid didn't intend to show.

"Are you talking about Alejandro? Does that mean you know where he is?? He left without saying anything so nobody knows what happened to him, but you apparently do? What's going on??"

Hyou smiled and nodded, putting an arm around Skylar and holding her close. He placed the other hand on his strap of the guitar, and then turned to face Astrid who heard mumbling. "If I'm able to forgive you, and Skylar is able to forgive me for what I did, then maybe you can do the same. We don't have to be at each other's throats all the time." With that, he gave his attention back to Skylar.

"We can go now if you wish, but I think we could at least invite Astrid. She may not like me and I may not like her, but she's your best friend." He was then cut off vy Astrid who began asking a barrage of questions about Alejandro. He forgot Taylor paired the two in class.

He turbed back to her, gritting his teeth, "You're too close. I was talking about Alejandro. I do know where he is. He left for something important, but he had been back for about a week now. Probably longer. He had a mission, one that had been specifically given to him." He explained before letting go Skylar. 
​

"He wanted you to tag along from what he told me on the phone the day he left. He was told he couldn't bring others, which he said did make him sort of happy which was weird. Your safety makes him happy and you worry." Hyou stood there for a moment. "Here's his phone number and dorm number,  but before you run off, why do you care? Is there... Are you two involved?"

"Hmm... So you mean a place where he can still do magic but it limits the effects of his magic? So it won't harm anybody else? Cause he means well it's just... He sometimes is... In over his head. Reckless I mean. He doesn't always think of the consequences of his actions. It's a good and bad personality trait but it's a recipe that just breeds disaster... Sorry if I sound like I'm being harsh on him but there might just be a place that can limit his power... Y'see, he used to own a watchtower back in days of old. He had constructed it all his life to be immune to magic and magic interference... That was before people went under the superstition of Witchcraft and it being related to the devil... They brought catapults and knocked his tower down. They called him a heretic. He drove them back and fled. The people hadn't realized the mistake they had made. Since Quaza didn't have place to safely do magic, he just brought about chaos, doing bizarre experiments. There's a rumor that he was doing it solely to get revenge. I don't think it's true but they might be right, he was upset about what happened. Quaza had no family. He casted a spell on himself so he would never age. Sadly the spell was single use only, and the rest of his family had died. He had tried to bring them back but they became zombies instead. He killed them in cold blood and sechluded himself from other and focused on the study of magic, hoping he'd learn the secret to immortality. He learned the secret, but never accomplished his dream. He was already too obsessed with magic, and he realized if he made other people immortal... He'd doom people to the same fate he had. He began to study other magic, and then more and more... And he's probably studying right now." She said, basically spilling his life story. It was tragic... But it was true...

Han grabbed his sword and twirled it around. "We can go now and see what he says. If anything happens, I'll protect you with my very life." He said, smiling a little. "That's if he doesn't mind visitors, and I say this so casually." Taking his seat beside Celia, and put the sword down against the wall closer to the bed and laid down. "I don't even think our luck with these guys are any good. There's people who can negate power, myself being one, but I don't think it'd be good to do that. Tell me Celia, how would you handle this guy?"

"That's the thing... You didn't... And the only way a person can't obey is if they are a supernatural being."

"Well, I was using a magic barrier from the moment I walked in a saw you. You behave like one beings who feed off of sexual pleasures of their victims or at least you did, so I did that. So maybe I was protected. I remwmber you telling me to do something but I refused." Nai explained. "If that helps."

Han grabbed his sword and twirled it around. "We can go now and see what he says. If anything happens, I'll protect you with my very life." He said, smiling a little. Celia laughed and shocked her head. "It's okay Han-San, Quaza is in fact fond of visitors. Anybody who is willing to learn magic he also teaches. However magic isn't very easy to control at first when learning, so he makes sure he teaches the fundamentals first and foremost. He's just difficult to reason with when it comes to NOT doing magic. You'd be fine by yourself. Just don't talk about his family or his love life." She said with a serious nod. "Want me to send you there now?"

"Yes it is." she said happily. She liked making friends, but with her powers she had to remain deadpan or everyone around her would be feeling as she was feeling.

Alejandro and looked at Giselle, "Thanks. For being my friend that is. It's always nice having people you can trust around here." He said with laugh as he turned to face what was ahead of him. "How far are we away from your place?"

Nico nodded 'okay' before digging in her small bag for a lip gloss. She applied a sheer amount on her lips. She didn't even know what she looked like right now. She smacked her lips together before putting her makeup away. She tried fixing her hair, by tossing it to one side to create volume. Nico felt okay with result and leaned back against the tree.

Han sat up as he listened to Celia talk about Quaza some more. Feom the sounds of it, she wouldn't be going with him. Yep. That was the case. "Why aren't you going?" He asked in a confused tone. "I wanted you to come with me since I still don't know much about this guy. I just know what not to mention."

isla sat at the edge of the woods, hunched over and against a tree with her legs to her ribs. she didn't have any friends. it didn't bother her, at all, because animals were her friends and they had quite the personality; each of them. but today she realized that other people thought it was strange that she didn't have human friends like everyone else. isla stretched her legs out so that they were straight in front of her, and her back firmly against the tree. there was someone nearby. not human, of course.

a squirrel fell from the tree and landed directly in front of her. he wasn't too old or too young. a teenage rock squirrel. squirrels were skittish around humans and attacked easily, but this squirrel was unusually calm around isla. she held out her cupped palms and he crawled into her hands in a curled ball. she brought one hand from underneath the squirrel and stroked him gently. he let out a sort of purring sound and closed his eyes.

Kristako just giggled. ''Auntie Neo, I wanted to teach or show my friends how to shoot a gun.''


''Oh is that it? Alright. Follow me.'' She said before going inside the mansion. Kristako followed as she gestured Assana and Miyuki to follow.

Assana: She followed after then and looked around at the huge house. "Woo..." She bite her lip nervously, her mind racing at what it would be like to actually shoot a gun. Maybe it would be scary...oh maybe this wasn't such a good idea. She looked to her sister to see if she was feeling the same but Miyuki was over the moon excited.


Miyuki: She grinned, her wings fluttering like crazy. She was ready to shoot a weapon. To learn even more ways to fight and defend her and her sister. She was the side of them after all who was supposed to be more powerful. She was the defender.

"But part of you is human... But I guess that the magical side is more powerful than the human side." Erica sighs then kisses his lips, "Will you always have that barrier up?"

"The magic side gets stronger as I both age and learn new forms of magic." Nai explained before he was kissed. When asked about the barrier, he kissed Erica again, "Only when I'm in unfamiliar places. Right now I'm in a very familiar place." He said jokingly. "Don't worry though."

Cielo didn't have a lot of casual clothes and it was coming around Christmas time so he decided to go shopping downtown, seeing most of the lampposts decorated with fun little garlands and such. Cielo's cheeks were slightly reddened and snow touched. He had forgotten his scarf which he always wore around Christmas time. He began to regret his decision of deciding not to layer his clothing. He let out short but cute sneeze before looking up at the sky with a smile. It was decorated with glittering stars, which made him happy. This was perfect. He wished Shuu or Drakon were here to see this. He looked on and looked at the various signs for shops looking for a clothes shop.

Fiona gave an annoyed sigh. "So what do we do now?" She asked loudly and filled with anger. "How do you manage to single-handedly ruin my day that just started!?" She shook her head. "I'm just going to go to school in Discordia." She waved her hand and a portal of swirling purple appeared.

Zenya was walking through the city with her hands in her pockets and unarmed. She was on satisfied terms with Talia, though it doesn't solve a lot. She was just walking through the city on the the sidewalks aimlessly as she was thinking about Talia and herself.

"Yes, this is the place," Cooper said to the cab driver as he craned his head towards the window to see what his new school was going to look like. The snow and the fog on the window of the cab made it almost impossible to see, but Cooper knew that this was definitely the best school here. The land was green and quite unlike the noisy streets filled with gray ground and sky-piercing buildings. Granted, there was noise, nowhere was safe from the sounds of traffic, but it seemed this place was a place of peace and quiet, a new start to his life. Turning his attention back to the cab driver, he barely heard what the driver had said. "That'll be 25 bucks," the driver said absently, looking at the meter. Cooper fished through his pockets, finding a 20 and a 5, giving that as payment, then got out of the cab. The sudden temperature change from being inside the cozy cab to being exposed to the elements making Cooper shiver as he got his luggage. The rolling wheels of his Copilot Carry On Luggage Roller filled with snow as he rolled it across the ground, and with a small growl, Cooper ended up awkwardly hugging it down to the school.
