Cyan: She nodded and waited at the top as his footsteps grew softer and softer. She listened and heard the it's okay. "Oh yay." She took a step down before she heard the Ack and her blood ran cold. She could hear nothing else... dead quiet. "H..Hector?" She called out softly. "Hector!?" She said a little louder. Her feet bounced up and down nervously as her heart raced. Oh no... what if something had happened. Should she go down? What if she was caught too! Maybe if she went in her kitten form, small and black furred and basically unnoticeable. She breathed and quickly changed into her tiny kitten form. She hopped down the steps, her soft padded paws making no noise as she hid close to the wall in the shadows. She took it one step at a time, ready for anything to jump out.


Assana: She looked at Kris and frowned a little. "You are in your brute form."


Miyuki: "Should we call you huge? That's what she wanted to be called."

--Hector, the dead monster chow--


He woke up. This time he struggled to get free. Once he was free, he looked at what had eaten him. It was a slime with tentacles, but whose body was that of a woman. The monster seemed confused and promptly devoured him again, as a kitten wandered into its nest.





A few seconds later...


Alive again, he ran back to the stairs. The slime girl thing had a crude shape of a heart on its skin. "Stop eating me!" he shouted as he ran to the stairs. He could hear its faint movements giving chase, then he felt the tentacle. This one had a sting to it and he stopped running and was again...promptly devoured.


"Are you kidding me?" the woman said again to Hector. "This is causing untold amounts of paperwork to pile up. So here, coat yourself with his stuff, and do try not to get eaten again. Or you will owe something precious to you next time." she said as she vivisected him with her scythe and he woke up at the base of the stairs where the monster was chasing the kitten. "Kitteh..." it stuttered out. He coated himself with the jar of putrid smelling sludge.

''Huh...? You mean Heavy? Oh. Do you not like this form?'' Kristako asked as she felt a bit surprised. Now she knew what they meant when they went somewhere.

Cyan: She cried out and began running as the Slime woman chased her. Her panic turned her into Cyan and stumbling she pumped her legs as she ran faster, her tail swishing. "I'm not a Kitteh! I'm not oh god oh god oh god oh god!" She panted as she tried to get away.

Assana: "No its not that I don't like it... I just hope you are you Kris and not Heavy. She scared me."

''She doesn't mean to scare. That's just her.'' She said with a sigh before she looked at both Assana and Miyuki. ''So, what shall we do now?''

LUMINA

At this point, Lumina's memories had come to a stall in returning to her, stopping right at the beginning of what she remembered of her current life, waking up in the middle of a forest as a young five-year-old girl with no idea where she was or how she got here. It wasn't long after wandering the forest that she came across the old man, who so happened to be out collecting berries on a whim. This is when she was found and taken in, and from then on raised. But that was as far as her memories were restoring, like they were stuck and needed some kind of jolt to get them going again. Apparently even with the barriers between her lives being restored, it wasn't a perfect process. Dying  was kind of complicated after all.

But that wasn't what mattered right now. Yeah, there were thousands of years of memories with Kenji that were locked away in her mind, but it was the memories she was making right now that mattered to Lumina the most. It was being able to spend time with him right here and now, in this restaurant, laughing and eating food with the man she loved and would spend the rest of her days and the rest of her lives with. As a phoenix, Lumina knew what that meant in terms of what happened when she died, but perhaps that would mean that she had to vow to herself to make sure that no matter what life she was living, she would find and be with Kenji. Something deep within her told her this was the right thing to do, so it was what she'd do. But dying wasn't really on her agenda anytime soon, not if she could help it. Dying would make Kenji sad, and that was the last thing that Lumina wanted.

Even though Lumina was a phoenix, which meant that she'd be reborn upon her death back to life, but that didn't mean she believed that her life wasn't something to be taken care of while she was living it. Her time with Kenji in this life, the life that she believed she had met Kenji, was not something to be taken lightly in her book. It was more precious than words could explain, so she was going to make sure to cherish the memories and the things that she did. Because otherwise, the good feelings that she was currently feeling would be put to waste, and she wasn't going to let that happen. This was yet another reason why she was doing her best to put her entire focus on Kenji and the date at the moment. As Kenji explained how he found the restaurant, Lumina blinked before smiling and giving her own laugh-filled response. "Oh, I see. Well, you definitely went to the right place it seems. I think it was a great decision." At that moment, the waiter brought over a basket of garlic bread, and Lumina's eyes lit up in excitement.

...ΨKenji is a Sanctum, a race of higher dimensional beings who created The Existence, the place where the omniverse dwells, and all the Gods and Goddesses living within. Sanctums themselves reside within the Alpha Verse, a place where Human concepts don't apply. From there, the Sanctums watch over time and space through The Oracle, a machine created by Sanctums to allow them to gaze at specific events spread throughout the omniverse. From there, Kenji studied the numerous books pertaining to the races within The Existence, yet he always found that he had a keen eye on phoenixes. Something about their race called out to him, like a moth to a distant moon. To him, he couldn't stop reading about these fiery beings, with their uncontrollable ability to reincarnate -rise from the ashes, and their unique control over fire, his older brother Akira's creation, albeit a watered down version. Due to Kenji having a natural affinity to fire, being that he was the Sanctum to create heat, it seemed only natural that his pair would be a Phoenix. Kenji didn't realise it yet, but he'd always known about Lumina. Not by mind, but by heart. And on the fateful day that they met, his heart skipped a beat, and he just had to have more of her heat -her gaze and love. Now Kenji wasn't one to live in the past, as ironic as that is, given that he was rather slow at getting accustomed to new eras, he always wanted to live in the moment, as he found that to be the best way to live. Money wasn't a problem to him, nor was distance, so he could live his eternal life like he wanted. Despite Kenji's power, he'd always been kind to the living beings within The Existence, animal and human alike. His power never corrupted him, as his heart and mind was pure. Lumina was his tether to the world, something to keep him grounded and sincere even in times of distress. A date was the least his could do to reciprocate Lumina's feelings, even if she already knew how he felt. Kenji loved Lumina, with all his heart, so he enjoyed setting things up for the both of them. He even had plans to go on a picnic with Akira and Asuka sometime soon, around the time after Christmas. Not to mention the present he'd gotten for her, but that's for another time and place. Returning to the restaurant, Kenji and Lumina sat at their tables, with a basket of garlic bread sat between them. The garlic bread was on the fancy side, with some herbal shavings topping it off to add extra taste. Noticing the look of excitement in Lumina's eyes, Kenji took a piece of garlic bread and placed the basket closer to Lumina's side, replying to her previous comment and continuing to talk with the basket being placed just infront of where her plate would be. He then took a bite of the delicious appetiser and smiled warmly at his pairΨ...


“ Why thank you~ I'm glad you like it~ Dig in, you can eat as much as you like, I know I will~ ”



...ΨThe lights had dimmed by now, with the only light being the candles that was lit neatly around the restaurant, along with the numerous street lamps being visible all around the city from the window seat they'd picked. What Kenji hadn't told Lumina, is that he'd rented out the entire restaurant for the night, so that the date would feel a bit more personal and romantic. He didn't want to hear anyone else talk but her. He didn't want to see anyone else but her. He wanted to focus entirely on Lumina with no background noise and no distractions, as minimal as they may be. His overall posture had relaxed, and his mood was nothing but the bliss of being in Lumina's presence. He wanted to enjoy the night, and with that in mind, he gave a subtle motion with his hand under the table to signal the waiter to officially commence the dinner. Suddenly, a piano began to play in the background, with a smooth violin intrusion to support the piano's notes. From the dim light that the candles provided, the waiter approached with a bouquet of roses and daffodils and a bottle of some fine aged red wine on a tray in his free hand. Handing the flowers to Lumina with a smile, he took two wine glasses from the tray and placed them at Kenji and Lumina's sides respectively. He then tilted the wine bottle ever so slightly and allowed the red liquid to escape the bottle's neck, causing it to drop into Lumina's glass, and then Kenji's. Placing the bottle onto the table, the waiter bowed and returned to the kitchen. Kenji's gaze softened even more on his pair, his grin turning into a smile filled with pure love. He focused entirely on his pair, blocking out his surroundings, and when he opened his mouth, he laid his feelings out on the table for Lumina to hear, so that she'd know just what she meant to himΨ...


“ Lumina. You are my world. The voice of reason within my head, and my love. Everything that is good within me, was created from you. You make me a better Sanctum, and I know you'll make the perfect wife. My paradise is you. It's always been you. The minute I laid my eyes on you, the love I felt intoxicated me. I haven’t been sober since, nor do I care to be. When I am with you, the only place I want to be is closer. In my days of rest, I often think that my love for you couldn't be any stronger, and when I do, my heart always proves me wrong by showing me it can just when I lay my eyes on you. I love you for all that you are, all that you have been and all you’re yet to be, Lumi-chan, and I can't wait to begin the rest of our lives together. This date is but a small gesture among many for me to show you how much I adore you and our bond. I will remain by your side through everything, forever and always, sickness and in health. And the second time Hector had saved her. They made a very strange team.

Yuto smiled and laughed a little, blushing a bit. "Thank you. Anyways, do you happen to remember anybody? Maybe not all of your memory is lost." He said before it occurred to him she must of forgotten how to use her power too. "Hey, Noir... Did you know you have the power to make anything you draw come to life? I-I mean uh... Considering you forgot everything." He said as got a bit nervous. He really didn't want to scare her and he was trying the best he could to help her so she could remember.

Noir wondered why he was blushing. She didn't think that saying he had a nice name was really much to blush about, but then again this Yuto fellow definitely was strange to say the least. She looked at him with a confused expression as he spoke, shaking her head "no" to his question. She didn't remember anything. It was a wonder that she knew her own name. Really, her name was the only thing that she actually did know, and that made the world around her extremely scary. She was about to respond when he asked another question, one asking if she knew she had the power making anything she drew come to life. Her pen stopped right above the page, now afraid that if she wrote anything it might jump out at her. Instead, she just looked up at Yuto with an unsure expression, once again shaking her head no to answer his question. Yuto was definitely being careful not to scare her, but she was getting scared and a little overwhelmed anyway, though she knew it wasn't his fault.

Cyan: She stretched out as she woke from her nap, blinking a little. Her eyes caught her tiny paws and she mewed  as she shifted back to her human form, sitting up. She looked around and then finally noticed she was in Hectors arms on the stairwell. Ooooh no not good. Dangit Cyan! She thought to herself as she wriggled free. Just because you are a cat and you like cuddles and are drawn to anything warm when you sleep does not mean you can cuddle your new friend. She felt something strange on her neck and looked at it, her heart stopping at the pretty necklace.. oh how lovely!

Celia let out a heavy sigh. "Nothing... It's just... Akuma released an all powerful wizard from the past when you were fighting him. He's too lazy to go wrangle him up and he doesn't have the strength to fight him anymore, seeing as he lost pretty much all of his power. The wizard's name is Quaza. He lives in a magic tower where he pumps an overdose of magic into the world. This is because all he does is magic, even the ones forbidden by law. This could lead to some deadly consequences... But I don't want to take away his right to life or his practice of magic... I just want him to stop abusing it's power." Celia explained to him, and smiled softly at him when he comforted her. It actually made her feel a lot better.

Han smiled and kissed Celia on the cheek, "You can fix this. I believe in you so believe in yourself too." He told her, smiling as he patted her back once again. "And you wont even need me.." He then let her go and walked towards their dresser. "Besides if we can take down Akuma with words, who's to say we can't with this guy? He doesn't seem like the type to not be reasonable."

She smiled sweetly. "My name is Giselle, and yours?" she said as they walked and talked. She was enjoying herself as she could relax and shop, without having the Miss following around.

Alejandro looked at the bags in his hands and then at Giselle, "My name? It's Alejandro." He said with a nod. "Nice to meet you, Giselle." Pushing his hood off, he placed a hand over his eyes. "Man it's been so bright out. Um... So where did you go? Your clothes, from what I could tell, are of a different fashion." A few bells rung in his head, but he decided to stay quiet on guessing.

Being locked away in his dorm so long, he began to forget what society was like... That didn't mean after he helped Giselle, he wouldn't be going back to his place to wrap himself up in a blanket and sleep for an unrealistic amount of time. "So what do you usually do around this place? Not much happens around here since the chipping thing."

''Hmmm...Then, would you like to learn how to shoot a gun?'' Kristako asked curiously. They were curious on how she used her weapons. Most of her weapons were guns. So she wondered if they ever wanted to learn how to use it.

Nai listened as Erica spoke. They should stay? Roy told everyone about the situation... Hopefully he didn't say he was a danger. He preferred the no one know about him type thing. He instinctively put his hands on her waist as she sat in his lap. "Make it up? That's an enticing thought." Nai replied as he rolled over onto the bed so Erica was looking up at him. "Hopefully that door is locked." He said with a grin. 

"I hope it is too... You better go check now just in case." Erica pulled the sheets to her chest and watched Nai. Then once he made sure it was locked AND he came back to bed Erica ran one of her hands down Nai's chest, "Does it hurt at all anymore?"

Cyan: She nodded smiling. "Where did this necklace come from, did you give it too me?" She purred in satisfaction, her tail swishing and her ears perked up.

"Yes I did, I found it on the floor, and put it on your neck." he said as he smiled. He stood and stretched. "Well I do believe my adventuring thirst has been quenched. How about we leave, and maybe come back when we are a bit...more prepared." he suggested as he gathered his things.

''Hmmm...Then, would you like to learn how to shoot a gun?'' Kristako asked curiously. They were curious on how she used her weapons. Most of her weapons were guns. So she wondered if they ever wanted to learn how to use it.

Assana: "Ooooh a gun?"


Miyuki: "I've never shot a gun before. That sounds like a great time."

Cyan: She nods and stands as well smoothing out her dress. "Yea these adventures are getting a little too scary..." She paused and hugged him suddenly around the waist before letting go. "Thank you for the necklace. It is very very pretty. I am glad I made a new friend with you."

"I hope it is too... You better go check now just in case." Erica pulled the sheets to her chest and watched Nai. Then once he made sure it was locked AND he came back to bed Erica ran one of her hands down Nai's chest, "Does it hurt at all anymore?" 

Nai smiled and put his hand on Erica's, "No. I'm fine. No pain anywhere." He said as he climbed onto the bed and kissed her. "That being said, don't worry about it. Let's just focus on now."
