Pixel jumped off the rock and accelerated again, attempting to slash at her other side with his crimson blade.

...♅Under the chill of the mist that spread over the battlefield, two large powers were released. The clangour of the swords had died away, the pale bleak sun that glittered so blindingly from the sky was now red and dull. The streets that once thronged with life stood empty. Gone were the food vendors and the women in their bright clothes selling hand made goods from carts and baskets. Gone were the children who played amongst the crowds with their games and laughter. Gone were the stores with their windows of fine clothing or delicacies. Now even at midday all that you would find would be the dusty street with only the wind for company. There were cracked side-walks, empty cars and broken store fronts laid waste by the conflict between Akira and Zero. A violent noise cracks into the startled air as Akira and Zero's swords clashed one-another, each impact causing a large shock-wave. An instant later, there was a blinding flash, like sheet-lightning, and a huge ball of varicoloured fire belched upward, leaving a series of smoke-rings to float more slowly after it. The fireball flattened, then spread to form the mushroom-head of a column of incandescent gas that mounted to overtake it, engorging the smoke-rings as it rose, twisting, writhing, changing shape, turning to dark smoke in one moment and belching flame and crackling with lightning the next, spilling fire into the red sky. Akira and Zero cam to a standstill♅...


...♅In that frozen second between stand off and fighting Akira and Zero's eyes met. Their faces were unreadable, no fear, no invitational smirk. Akira was banking on Zero making the mistake of attacking, and he did. In that instant, Zero flew at Akira, ignoring the rising of Akira's power. A sudden gush of pain jolted throughout Zero's body as Akira appeared behind him. His stomach ached, his arms lost tension and his legs began to weaken. His tongue was soaked in the taste of blood. Bruised and winded, with a leg in agony, Zero grabbed his sword and spun around, attempting to slash Akira's back, yet Akira was prepared. He brought his sword around and parried Zero's sword, soon planting his foot into Zero's stomach. When Zero went flying back into the opposite end of the crater, Akira spoke, purple sparks igniting around him as the ground began to tremble under his power. Akira wore a serious facial expression, one that wasn't commonly seen on his face♅...

Her demon form was a different side of her; a different personality that takes her over and drowns her out, always bringing her reminders of the job she's supposed to be doing, but doesn't have the strength to do it. It gets progressively harder for her to get out of it, especially since the shadows returned, and they didnt like leaving. "Tyler...who were they?" She asked to distract herself.
