"H-ha... me, come with you..? Mm..."

Unsure how to respond, or even where to truly direct her focus on, Mariko awkwardly scratched at her cheek. It's the apocalypse, certainly no time for any leisure. Though perhaps in the situation of overexertion and similarly analogical to the tendencies of society after events of trauma- it would be nice.

"... maybe for tea sometime."

Looking towards Zoroark, Mariko nodded her head, finding it awfully unnerving that he's taken the appearance of someone she had grown so accustomed to screaming nearly every other word. To have a monologue, dead-pan expression as he spoke with the word "perhaps" felt uncanny, though that wasn't anything she didn't expect, with the guide of someone mentally quadruple his age. Zoroark, in his own interests and Mariko, kept the guise as the two familiar bodies approached. Abby, the Guildmaster herself, directed for the "duo" to round up everyone with all the supplies they had gathered, as well as board up the building, ironically the first thing that Mariko and Chase had intended to do before Koi's predicament had followed. Nodding towards Abby's direction, her focus was now brought towards Futakichi, to which Chazona was revering. While the creature's reactions were sluggish on it's own, not given any proper orders by it's "commander", it did appear to be awfully curious of the strange, red beanie being flagged in it's face, a steel-plated claw raising in attempt to grab it. Chazona's preoccupation, from what Mariko had briefly experienced, seemed odd- with her unusual compulsion drawn from Koi. To have her not focused on him, that would mean the two had left, whether it be when she wasn't looking or through some violent mean.

Clapping her hands together, Futakichi raised it's head upwards, a shrill fife similar to the faint whistle heard from a dog whistle would emit, before the creature would return it's focus to Chazona. Chase would have heard that, if anything relatively in that direction, or he might as well have gone off to some other body of land entirely. Studying the small group that collected, it wasn't that hard to surmise that Zoroark would use this opportunity as Chase, who needed to "round up" people as a mean of leaving the conversation as soon as possible. The man was never one for words- in fact, it was only his impersonations where she seemed to see him talk, specifically this one. The blame would get pushed to Chase for not doing his job, and Zoroark would get some sort of playful kick out of it. It wasn't like Mariko to sell him out of that any time soon.

"No concerns, Chase and I were going to try and repair some of the current headquarters as well. Chase can apprise those on the outskirts, while me and Mr. Idealist can try and gather the people within the periphery."

Briefly locking her gaze with Zoroark, she cocked her head back, allowing him to finally go off and do his own thing, unless he wanted to maintain the impersonation that he held now. Pointing her hand to the rusted tool box and large planks of wood that Chase and her had poisoned, she continued.

"We have a few supplies, though I'll try and see what I can get. Take it easy, Commander. You may have a head of duty and the adrenaline from the world's current Nadir, though there's only so much a gijinka can take."

Nodding towards Abby, Futakichi would sense the mental directive for it's next action, finally clearing it's dazed sense of thought. Dropping it's focus of Chazona, it approached Mariko, allowing her to hop back up towards it's arm. Beckoning Aden to follow suit, it was apparently her assignment now to collect everyone that she could. It wouldn't be hard on an incongruity nearly quadruple her height.

"So-Something just popped in my head...if that weird demon thing was outside, didn't that mean your sis-"

"Wha?! Huh?! D'ya say somethin'? I can't hear you over the sound of MY TENACITYYYY- oh wait, what?"

After scouring what he could, managing to fortunately obtain a half-used roll of cloth, some very, very used blankets- most likely clothes that were supposed to be traded, and some preservatives, Chase turned to look towards Koi, who seemed far out of it, as if he was in a daze and speaking to some disembodied voice. Remaining quiet for a few seconds for Koi to speak, it didn't seem like he was going to, before realizing something and remaining stock shook. Unaware of the injuries he inflicts on most people, Chase' gaze lowered down to his scratched up friend, something bright lodged in his arm, reflecting dimly off of the light through the clouds from the caravan.

"... heck, that sure isn't good."

His voice would grow reticent, before increasing worry would grow on his face as he skid down to his knees in front of him, his eyes dilated as he found great difficulty in setting his sights focused on one location.

"Oh maaaaan, oh man, oh man, oh man oh man... oh mannn... oh man... frick this isn't good at all! That isn't good, nope, not at all, nope, uh.. yea, that ain't good. Not good. Nope. U-um, Mari told me how to d-deal with this, wait, h-hang in there! You're not allowed to die, that's lame!! STEP UP!!"

His outbursts appeared to be more fueled by panic as he seemed to ramble on and on, even to himself when he stopped speaking at a volume that people could comprehensibly hear at (which for him, appeared to be very loud). Fidgetting with the half-used roll of cloth that he found, he carefully wrapped the area around the wound, but not directly on the glass to push it any farther than in his skin. He was surprisingly benign when dealing with Koi, at least at this moment, though his panic was apparent. Stuffing the cloth into his pocket after tearing it and tying, Chase lifted Koi in a bridal-style carry.

"Mari taught me how to do that, she's so cool!! If only she'd stop- no, wait, YOU'RE the one injured, right now, we gotta go find some help!! WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO!!"

Kicking himself out of the caravan, he bolted out of the area, searching for the first person he thought could be of potential help. He didn't want to risk getting kicked out of the guild- or in trouble for hurting a guild member, that was certainly something he couldn't risk right now, at least that was his priority. He remembered walking with Mariko and catching sight of the Guildmaster herself, and today was certainly not the day he's going solo. After running max speed for a fair bit (hopefully Koi didn't get motion vertigo), there appeared to be a lone man, walking friskly towards some of the caravans farther off, away from the house that he decided to bust the window of, twice. Making a beeline towards the Lucario, Chase' boots skid on the ground as he stopped a few feet in front of him, a trail of dust trailing from where he dashed.

"Lad, lad, lad, lad, lad, I like your vest, it's super coo- no, wait!! Can you help my friend? You seem, uh, Marikish. She told me not to talk to strangers, but my friend is dying!! I think! He's probably dying. He's not allowed to do that- so, can you help?!?"

Elias had to tilt his head as one of the houses he had been trying to scavenge fell down. "Ah, I wonder how that happened." He asked himself as he tried to come up with answer when in reality, it had been him that had destroyed the house. Let's get back to a minute, he had been standing in front of the door to the house and had been trying to open it but it got locked. So being the humble person he was, he had trying to maybe find a weakness to the weakness and behold, he had found it and the house came crumbling down. "Such a bad thing to happen to this house." He wasn't sure who was the owner of the house and even if the owner came back, well, there wouldn't be a house anymore. He placed a hand on his cheek and started calmly walking toward the debris, just looking to see if he found anything interesting. After all he wanted to bring something back to the guild, and having the house fall and finding nothing, well it would such a shame that the house fell for no reason.

Nexus

The Lucario swiftly made his way back to the caravan, trying to get back to his own wagon. However, something that was within his aura sight slowly came more and more of an anomaly to the Lucario, something that he hadn’t quite paid attention to until now. Noticing this, he paused in his tracks, his eyes and tips of his fingers glowing a dim blue as he continued to channel small amounts of aura to maintain his sight. Keeping it active for too long would slowly tire him out, but this seemed to be something he needed to address and study. First of all, he could suddenly see a red aura flaring up near the caravanIt was definitely Chase, as he had noted before...but something had to have happened to cause his aura to flare like that. He studied it for a few moments longer. He felt a blue aura, seeming to be flaring itself, but as if it were in desperation, and in shock, and that flare was steadily growing weaker.

And so, he also knew that blue aura was Koi. He definitely knew that the two were very close together, and being prideful and hot-headed, Chase exceptionally so. He hadn't really been around them at all, interaction-wise, so it wouldn't be fair for him to judge. He sighed lightly, running a hand through his blue hair. Honestly, he didn't know very many people well, possibly due to him sticking around the back the most, and sitting in the caravan mostly meditating. It was a needed trade-off though...right?

He snapped out of his thoughts however when he suddenly felt Chase's aura flare even more, and Koi's aura being mixed in with it as well. It seemed quite weaker now that usual, the flare of blue aura having died down. Was Koi injured? He didn't exactly know, but it seemed like it, as a weak aura usually meant some sort of problem, and that of course, was not a good thing at all. He instinctively moved a paw down to his satchel, leather and very worn, one of the straps hastily sewn back together. It was his old satchel, coming from his village, a memento of his life there, and even though he had found many better ways to carry items around, he refused to get rid of his one, until it was completely worn and broken down.

He paused his blind opening of the satchel as he could feel Chase’s aura moving, and it was moving quite quickly, around his direction as well. Taking a quick glance around, it seemed as if he was the only person within the general area that was around in the open, and likely would the one he would encounter. Analyzing his pace, he looked off in the distance and decided it would be best to meet in the middle...which wasn't too far away for himself. He continued on his brisk pace, his eyes in the meanwhile staring at the distance, feeling their aura getting closer and closer to him. Finally, he saw the two in the distance, Chase carrying the far smaller Koi like a bride, and his eyes widened in shock, immediately stopping. Not at the sight of seeing Chase carrying Koi bridal style, but the fact that there was a glass shard embedded in Koi’s arm. He watched Chase skid to a stop in front of him, watching as the dust trailed behind him as he stopped.

He stared at the glass shard, before slowly shaking his head. "What even happened? Did he go out a window or something?" He questioned this, staring at the shard of glass closely before responding. "Well...shoot, that looks like it’s embedded in there pretty good...you hanging in there, Koi?” He needed to check if he was undergoing shock or anything like that...if so, that would make the situation even worse. “I’ve got something that might numb the pain for a bit, but he definitely needs to see Spiritzee…” He quickly opened up his satchel, rummaging around and revealing a variety of things, sifting around until he what he needed...three Oran Berries. They were hard to find, and would only really numb and provide full healing to minor wounds, but this would help him for awhile. He gave two to Chase and one to Koi himself. “Eat that for right now, Koi, you’re going to need it. Chase, you need to get him to Spiritzee, they should be somewhere around the caravan, just hurry.” He didn’t bring up the fact that Chase identified him as a stranger, and just focusing on the task ahead is what he had to do first. Names didn’t matter when someone was in serious trouble...

Perhaps speak to your while your in the washroom as well." his sass done and over he finally relayed information he was getting to her. "..it seems... Our resident bark has taken a bite. if you are able to go and help them before.. well... Koi dies, that would be most appreciated. Follow the general sense of stupidity and you will find them."

Sugary_Paragraphs Sugary_Paragraphs "Koi, help is on the way, stay put and... Don't die." really the best advice he could give at the moment.

What else should he do really? hell he is up on a roof thinking/talking to people so.. he couldn't right just... go there.

"Better yet, use a cloth and clean the wound, whatever said wound is." Really shoulda paid more attention in the future sight "And do try not to pull out anything thats lodged in your body, the wound needs to be CLEAN. or do you want to lose that limb... it is a limb correct? Hopefully, you can lose a limb, but your torso? To much to simply snip off I'm afraid." Sho continued to... help.. in his special way.

"Whom is with you?"

Koi:
Waiting for Sho to offer some kind of response, he began to increasingly grow worried. He didn't know whether to take it out or leave it in, but it was starting to actually hurt. Looking back at his arm, his eyes widened when he saw a bit of red beginning to leak out. 'Uh-Uh...' Koi thought, jumping in surprise at Chase's sudden obvious comment. Snapping his head toward the Charizard, Koi watched with a frown as the guy began to talk at an even faster pace than usual. "Wh-What? Chase, I'm fine! I-It doesn't even hurt! I'm not gonna die! I'M TOO TOUGH!" He said in response to all of Chase's panicked outbursts. Koi blushed as he watched Chase take out the bandages and begin to wrap his arm, pursing his lips and looking away. He hated it when people fussed over him. It didn't just make him feel uncool, but it also made him feel...weak. "Du-Dude. Don't make such a big DEEAAL?!"

Koi's blush grew redder when Chase picked him up, yet this time, more like a 'boyfriend carrying his girlfriend' type deal than the usual 'Potato over the shoulder' style. "Chase! For the last time, it's not a big-" And he already took off. Koi gave the wound a glare as a red sport appeared in the bandages, the red spot steadily growing bigger. The pain increased as well, still mild, but would grow even more if this wasn't treated...Koi grumbled at the thought, jostling in Chase's grip. A sudden skid to a stop caused Koi to roughly hit Chase's chest, his arm lightly pushing the glass in a bit deeper. "SHIIIiii'm fine!" He said in response to Nexus. He'd actually seen the guy around before, always meditating when Koi was finishing his training in the forest. When Nexus mentioned the Spritzee, Koi frowned deeper. Great. More people knowing he got hurt. Bad enough people in the guild already thought he didn't fit in, but he knew some would have a field day when they saw this. "...Thanks." Koi practically groaned, looking away to nibble on the oran berry, already feeling some of the pain ebb away.

Hearing Sho in his head, Koi stopped, halfway into his first Oran berry. He couldn't help but face-palm at Sho's word of advice. Right. Because that was TOTALLY his plan from the very beginning. Koi nodded at the actually helpful 'clean the wound' part, but first they'd need to get rid of the bandages, right? Koi began to sigh, loud and long, as Sho began to give him more 'Advice'.
'Sho? I get it." He told him before looking at Chase at his question. 'Uhm, Chase and Nexus, right now...and define hel-WAIT. You didn't call HER, did you?!' Koi thought, tone laced with fustration and disgust. He was a social Magikarp, meaning he knew most of the guild members. And he also knew that there were only two heal-y type guys. That strange Spritzee dude...and GAEL.

"You heard him, Bro!" Koi said in a panic, smacking Chase's arm. "We gotta get there, Stat! I can feel more blood coming out!" He lied...or at least, he thought he did. In reality, this was actually correct.

Chazona:

Chazona, meanwhile, was having the time of her life.

"~Shushushu! ~Yes! ~Go, Go, Go! ~Shushushu!" Chazona cheered, climbing on top of its head and grinning at the moving world below her. Although the Owner (She'd have to get rid of her later) was down there, she still felt like the queen of the world. Everything was so small, so fragile, so easily stompable! This lucky thing! If only she were this big! Her grin widened as she thought of all the things she would do. Oh, if only Koi were here! Too bad the lizard took him away...oh, well! She could always just snatch him back if she encountered the two again!

Aden grinned, giving a hard pat against Zoroark’s back affectionately. “Sorry pal, but Mari comes first. Maybe another ti-“

He jumped slightly as Zoroark hugged him, bewildered. “Ah, uh, thank...s?”
But before he could finish, Zoroark had already let go, his hands now placed on his shoulders. As Zoroark explained that to him why he wasn’t in the house with Koi, Aden gave a scrutinizing stare at the young man before him.

He looked like Chase. He sounded like Chase (though it seemed a biiiit off, though maybe he was just tired?). It had to be Chase. So why did that hug seem off to him?

“Hey, Chase, are you feeling alright?”
Maybe it was because he wasn’t yelling?
He tilted his head, bringing his face closer for inspection. Everything seemed alright.

“Oh. You have some dirt on your face.”

He sighed. Guess he’ll just let it go for now. Turning to Mariko, he flashed a bright smile. “I’ll take that as a yes! It might be awhile, but I promise I’ll bring you sometime.”

His eyes trailed towards the sudden appearance of Vola, and raised an eyebrow.
“Eh? You like tea too like those geezers? Don’t drink with the quinteat. Faron’s far too gone to be saved, but you can’t join them. Mari, and several other old men will turn you into one of those cranky grannies if you do!”

He fell silent as the others kept talking. He was listening, of course, though he was glancing towards the woods again. Though he looked and acted like a ditz sometimes, Aden always managed to pay enough attention to the conversation to know what the gist of what was going on. However, he looked back as he heard that Mariko had just volunteered herself and him to go round people up.

It made his smile even bigger, and playfully he nudged Zoroark, leaning towards him.
“Going on a date with your sister doesn’t break the bro code, does it?” He had a cheeky grin on his face as he whispered this.

"Ya sure, man? I'm talking to ya, but I ain't started runnin' yet. Ya may look a bit shady, but haven't actually threatened me yet, so I'm bettin' yer just fine," Doublade stated as she levitated off the ground some, so that Robin didn't need to look straight down and she didn't need to look straight up to see each other's face. Yes, he was definitely a tall one, that was for certain. The ghost bit into her sandwich as she looked him up and down. Tall, muscular, an archer... Yup, he definitely had an intimidating figure, but Doublade wasn't scared of anything (or so she told herself), so this man wasn't a big deal to her. "Then again, whatta I got to be afraid of? I'm only the best swordswoman in the entire guild, so nothing, that's what! Why don'tcha walk out with me to show yer not that scary? Better yet, ya could carry me out of yer shoulders!"

"Don't do anything stupid with my body..."

Doublade reached one of her small hands out to poke Robin's nose, completely in spite of Misdreavus as she told her not to do anything stupid. She'd do what she wanted, this was her body now! Additionally, she severely doubted that Robin would actually do anything about her doing something as simple as poking his nose. Maybe he would do something if she did something like, say, punching him, but she didn't, and she had no intention on swinging on the Decidueye. Not unless he decided to punch her, then she would swing on him. With her real body, her swords, not her fists. "Whattaya say, Robin? Wanna go hang out with others?"

Kurama
Since arriving in the ruins of the village, Kurama had quietly followed Abby as she searched the remnants of buildings. It wasn't uncommon to find the old fox near her, offering what advice he could, putting some of their more rambunctious guildmates back in line, ignoring Sho... Today really wasn't all that different. Especially with the blasted Xatu spouting poor attempts at poetry in the back of his mind.

Another ruined village to scavenge, another potential disaster to avoid - Sounds like Koi managed to get himself injured once again...

Kurama's ears gave a slightly annoyed twitch before he quietly cleared his throat. "I'll see about getting the ones back at camp moving. There's a foul wind headed this way..." He said before stepping away from what was quickly turning into quite the scene.

It wasn't long before his crimson hues fell on a familiar sight, Bennett was practicing as he almost always was. "Diligent as ever, it seems." He mused as he stood nearby, silver tails slowly swaying around him.

Curtana
Curtana sat at the base of a gnarled old tree, observing the various pokemon milling about the ruined village. While she may have agreed to travel with them, the Aegislash wasn't in a hurry to go out of her way to help any of them. Unless it was putting one of the fools out of their misery, something she'd offered on more than one occasion. Though the twisted spirit would be lying if they said there weren't any potential new hosts among their numbers.

Chase, for example, had a powerful body but a weak mind. Though she'd admit he had a rather stubborn spirit. Breaking it would be so... fun.

A small smirk crossed her pallid features as she watched the charizard run off with an injured Koi. Seemed the stupid kid had gone and gotten himself hurt once again. Shame it isn't a crystal... This wasn't a world where a pathetic excuse for a pokemon could live anymore.

Here, only the strong could survive.
