So what will be the format, so to speak, for actual tournament battles?


I'm gathering that everything will take place on the main thread, one battle at a time and non-fighting combatants would be in the stands, as it were, commenting on the battles.

Very much so yes. I didn't put this in the rules, because it should be self apparent, but at most you can launch one or two attacks at your opponent so you can give them a chance to respond and counter. Also you have to take a hit sooner or later (unless you the other guy forfeits or is just incompetent).

Don't worry. I'm quite familiar with battling; just curious as to how the event is to be organized.


I will, however, advise that you seek to start this sooner rather than later. Waiting for another four competitors may leave us waiting for a while.

Thats why i have allowed practice battles between the competators to get things going a bit.

Its a 1v1 tournament. And yes Electricity is taken, however a variation of it is allowed if you can find it.

First though, I get you are mad, but I thinking bothering the staff is a little overkill right now, jumping the gun if you will.


Now I can attest to two things, the first being that Flapjak is earnest in the fact that he does want to join this RP. He has never really made a CS before and is a little lost. I am working with him to revamp his CS to an acceptable state. Dare I say, maybe even to become the second best CS in this RP~ The first CS was nothing but a troll, but the second was an actual try, and surely you can understand that no one is a pro there first RP.


However I really must address how hasty you are to bring the staff into this matter. It's, and I mean no offense, quite unessacary. I mean no ill will, but that hasty trigger finger is doing no one any favors.


Both CSs will be deleted and replaced with a new grand spankingly shinny one soon enough.


I ask for your patients during this time. Thank you!

Well this is my first attempt at GM-ing a thread, and a troll is something i expected but wasn't prepared for. And yes, you may be right on the fact i was a bit hasty on the trigger. However those two applications are considered spam by the sites rules, well almost. And if i same rash or hasty then i apologize for it, but the title of the RP is The Elemental Tournament and the keyword there is Element, so it should be obvious that the powers involve the elements. Not to mention the fact that i have provided a perfectly acceptable list of potential Elemental Manipulations to use, and yet he posts the exact same thing just under different titles. Now having a backstory like a businessman is fine, but they must have an actual manipulation not whatever he kept using. Now i get that he wants to keep a theme, and that is admirable, however it is not an actual power and it is a waste of time to look at them. Again if i seem rash and hasty, i apologize, but this is what i consider to be the truth.

Well you did put in your post that she was born during the times of the inferior iPhone model. And the first iPhone came out in 2007, and if she is 19 years old, then the year would be 2026. While that is an acceptable year for me, personally i would push it back a bit to around 2020 or 2018, but 2026 is goo enough for me. The reason why i didn't call you out on that is because 1. I had no idea when the first iPhone came out and 2. I just liked your character's main backstory in general and over looked it.
