You changed more than the Compendium did.  I have been posting on it the way I did for years, and TSJ even longer than me.  Trying to create an idyllic past for it (by your standards) is a bit silly.

Well, it certainly works for me


I think part of it is the low number of members in the beginning. There was not that many people trolling around and posting stupid stuff. And most people were also rather new to the game, so everyone had a kind of humble curiosity. Well, that and the fact that I'm hopelessly romantic and may be blurring out some unpleasant facts in the interest of good memories.


As to you and TSJ: yes you have always been rude, but seldom stupid. Being rude in an intelligent and civil manner is not so bad compared the abysmal stupidity faced in so many other forums.
