Fantasy The Dying Ashes - Dark Souls

Hi all. I've been playing all the souls games and I would love to start a new dark souls role play. The basic plot to this would be about a group of undead struggling to survive. If you're worried about spoilers, don't worry, this won't be connected to the main plot directly. You are not the chosen Unkindled... You are a doomed undead trying to ward off the curse for as long as possible. As of now, there isn't a real goal apart from surviving. Please give feedback and your ideas!

What kind of starting equipment are we allowed?

It depends on your history. I'll allow most non-exotic weapons and some elementary magic, but no overly powerful things.

Is a grass crest shield alright? What about the elite knight set

They don't have to be items directly from the game, but if you really want to, go for it. The stats of the items won't really mean anything in this rp anyways

I'm partial to a little more structure and plot, but Dark Souls is a great atmosphere for a role-play and I wish you the best of luck getting this up and running.

I had a question pertaining to what incognito mentioned actually, Would this be taking place before, after, or during the main storyline? For example would we be experience the bells being rung or Frampt appearing?

It would take place just before the events of dark souls 3. And I'm working on a plot
