Glass spread around under pale bare feet, the sound of popping shards almost gut-wrenching as the swift female glided over them, barely wincing. With every step she took across the lab, little droplets of black blood began to feed on the material scattered along the granite floor, sizzling steam hovering around her as the acidic liquid ate away at solid debris of the unfortunate window. The long black lab-table was filled with beakers, mason jars, and all sorts of glass containers. The stench of decaying flesh and formaldehyde was thick in the air, causing the halfling to place a hand over her mouth and nose. Pressing her back to the wall, Monica let her vision scan the scene, thick tanks captivated her. A clear liquid encased several different stages of life, each being a human of some kind. Except that they weren't, they were motherless things created to kill men. To slaughter soldiers, civilians, and anything not bread within the confined shorelines of America. A small scoff fell from her muffled lips, her breath making condensation form along her upper lip. Eyes gleamed a bright orange, indicating she was annoyed or frustrated by something.

Humans.

She spent many days and nights cleaning up after them, as if she were the maid of the human race. Or a mother desperately trying to get her children to tidy their rooms. An almost impossible task. "They're ripping each other apart." she whispered to herself before slinking towards a pair of pure white doors, a thick blue pad on the side suddenly shifted on. A seductive female voice echoing from the small computer screen.

"Hello, Doctor." It breathed, startling her. Red hair bounced as she took a step back, quickly avoiding a retinal scan.

"Error" it pinged, and turned itself off. Crouching down below the sensor, she gripped a small light green crystal from around her neck and pulled it over her head. She waved the stone across the security system, causing it to malfunction and automatically open the doors.

The wind blew softly, the fallen leaves of the ground rumbling across the ground. He lowered his sunglasses, green eyes scanning the building he was to infiltrate. He felt his gun, the smooth metal painted a dull black with a weight of a few pounds. It reassured him, and he steped forward, strapping the weapon to his back as he began to climb the cold fence. His eyes narrowed in determination, pulling himself up and putting his jacket over the barbed wire on top. He's done this on multiple times, it was nothing new to him by now. The breeze blowed again, his blonde hair ruffling as the wind raced through. He looked down, the building was so dull and grey. It was made of cracked concrete, and the doors were a heavy metal.

He sighed, jumping down and landing roughly on the ground. Thank the deities he had a high pain tolerance, or else the fall may have hurt him. He stood upright again, straightening his back as he walked forward to the doors. He layed his gloved hand over them, the metal was smooth and solid. He determined it would be impossible to breakthrough. He walked along the concrete walls, trying to feel for any faulty walls he could breakthrough, or perhaps a window. He scoffed, those entries were never that simple. At least he knew that meant his target couldn't have escaped yet. He planned for it to be an easy kill, he loaded his gun, smiling in anticipation. He just loved the kills.
