Here is what I have so far. One hundred years after a nuclear war, around ninety percent of the Earth's population was wiped out. The resulting damage from the bombs has created a dark, dreary atmosphere of radioactive clouds which for reasons that are currently unknown, persist to blanket the Earth. What was once the United States is now a cratered wasteland, void of vegetation, its lakes and rivers are either dried up or turned into radioactive waste. The last American remnants, survive by propping up "H Pumps" which, despite the name, do not really pump anything, but produce Hydrogen by way of a process called Radiolysis. A way of taking irradiated water and disassociating its molecules and refractoring them to create hydrogen. The new hydrogen is thus combined with oxygen and thermal forces to create fresh clean water. This is in fact the best way in this world as overly irradiated water cannot be cleaned and filtered out but still hold its original molecules. Currently the mass quantity of H-Pumps is controlled by a very mysterious shadowy organization known only as The Cross, who distribute the water out to couriers, who then deliver supply crates to all settlements that bend their knee to the organization. Those that don't, do not get any water, and they are usually raiders, thieves and criminals.

As for the setting. It will take place all over what was once the United States, now known as the Blight Lands. A fitting name for such devastation it represents. If any of you have any further ideas, please feel free to message me. I am currently brainstorming ideas everyday. I would like to start up first trials in a week, if I can, with two to three characters. Use your imagination for any character you desire, whether it be a raider type, soldier type or whatever. Mutations do exist and there are negative mutations and positive mutations, which enhance senses or gives a character a wide range of special abilities. You can be a Clean One (Non-mutated human) a Mutant (fully mutated in any way you desire) a half-mutant (human but with either little or substantial mutations) or an Orc (massive beast like folk, some intelligent, some not so intelligent, with heavy mutation and a wide range of abilities)
