Jersey was thinking about something and didn't notice Maya following him

((Well I hadn't thought that far, but now that you mention it... *mischievous smile*))


"Jers- Watch out!" Maya yelled across the hallway, barely able to block a knife pointed directly at Jersey's head. It would have hit if Maya didn't block it with her shadow manipulation. But her cheek was slightly cut by the knife.


"Che... I missed," A voice called out, but it's source had yet to be revealed.
 
((Yep knew it!))


Jersey stopped and closed his, he was listening closely and heard the kids breathing rhythm and opened his eyes as his armor was still on. He turned in the direction the kid was and was right in front of him. He grabbed the boy by the throat and threw him where Maya was. "I'm not easy to kill Child!" Jersey said as he held him in place.

"Really? What about your friend? The angel?" The boy asked with a grin all across his face. He drove his knee into Jersey's stomach, as he threw Jersey into the wall he was about to pass Maya when she drew her rapier, and cut a deep cut into the boy's leg. "What about him?" She asked, her eyes was slowly being filled with black as anyone who wanted to hurt her friends were her sworn enemy.
 
Jersey wasn't affected by the kick nor did he felt any pain by it cause of his armor. He walked to the boy and chuckled "You underestimate us." There is nothing the boy can do to hurt Jersey.

"Oh really? How about the poison running in your poor friend's veins? Even if he joined us, he's still an angel. To him, the poison is dangerous... maybe even life threatening!" The boy yelled out like a maniac following with a matching laughter as his body slowly disappeared into nothing. "I'll be back.... and once I am... you'll be dead..." the voice og the boy ran through the hallway, but the boy had completely disappeared, and was nowhere close yo the building as it seemed he had some help escaping.
 
Jersey sighed "Like I said he underestimates us." And jersey walked calmly to the medical bay like as if nothing was gonna happen Maya is gonna ask him why he's so calm and he knows just what to say.

"Jersey! Hurry up! Luci he-" Maya stopped as the thought of Lucifer dying was something she didn't want to see nor imagine. Her cheek did still hurt as the knife had cut her cheek, but for now she did not think much of it."Jersey! How can you be so calm when Luci might be dying?!" She asked him frustrated with how she was the only one seemingly worried about their friend.
 
"If an angel was accepted by the flames of hell then they aren't really an angel no more, don't worry the fire protects him as it does for me." Jersey explained to her and he knew this fact cause he is The Devils son so what he says is true.

Lucifer met them halfway with his hand bandaged and smiled to the both of them waving with his other good hand. Maya ran off and hugged him tightly, happily crying that Lucifer was okay, despite that was the exact thing that Jersey had told her earlier. He looked over Maya's shoulder and gave Jersey a very confused look.


"Why is she crying? Was she hoping I would die?" Lucifer asked Jersey, as the poison had easily been taken away by the hell's flames, even though the flames became a bit wilder than usual.
 
Jersey shook his head "She was worried the poison would kill you and I explained to her that it wouldn't still she's happy that you're alive." He walked over to Maya and patted her head

"Oh I see... Really? You thought I would die that easily? I fell from the sky all the way down here, you remember that right?" Lucifer asked her to reassure her she wouldn't die easily. Maya's tail wagged as Jersey's hand gently patted her head, as she dried away her tears and smiled as she nodded. "I- I know, but it he sounded so sure~!" Maya cried, as Lucifer sighed and reached out his hand as well, patting Maya on the head. "I promise, I won't die so easily. What about your cheek?" Lucifer asked as Maya had to dry a pair of more tears trailing down her cheek. "He tried to attack Jersey from behind, so I deflected it, but I was too late to dodge so the knife slightly cut my cheek," She explained, but her tears stopped falling at the very least.
 
Maya turned to Jersey and smiled as her tail kept wagging, and Lucifer smiled as his hand didn't hurt anymore, but the boy started to become a real pain in their necks. "What happened to the boy anyway?" Lucifer asked as Maya was too busy being patted by Jersey and was in her own little world, as she loved to have her head patted.
 
"The boy disappeared but is still in hell, he said once he's back we'll be dead but the only one who'll be dead is him." Jersey explained to him.

"I'll give him a piece of my mind... Especially since the flames of Hell is raging inside of me..." Lucifer growled underneath his breath as Maya finally snapped out of her little dream world. "Oh! I cut his leg... I wanted to cut it off, but I decided to spare it. After all a prisoner is no good if they are filled with so much fear they can't speak," Maya said, this was her serious side. It was a truly terrifying thing when Maya was this angry, as she was normally happy and energetic, the anger that could be built up in her would all be released at once. "Nevertheless, let's continue our day huh?" Lucifer said, trying to calm Maya down a bit, to not have any incidents happen.
 
"Here," Lucifer said and gave Maya a band aid before walking past her, without another word and followed Jersey down the hallway. "A- Ah! Wait!" Maya said as she placed the band aid on her cheek, giggled as she realized that Lucifer got a bit worried as well, and ran after the both of them. "What's next?" She asked Jersey, smiling as she caught up with the both of them, carefully looking around in the hallway to make sure that the boy wasn't anywhere close to them, but the shadows would whisper it to her before he got anywhere close.
 
"First we go and check on the construction of the course and then we can check on the troops after that then we'll have the rest of the day to our selfs" he told Maya as they got outside.

"Oh! I know! Let's go to the beach then!" Maya said out loud, happily as that they didn't have to have a lot to do today, and Maya was never really too happy to have too much work. "The beach? Well I we-" "THEN It's settled!" Maya interrupted Lucifer, already decided in her mind that the beach was next up on their program today. "Let's hurry!" Maya said happily, as she grabbed Jersey's hand and dragged him towards her office where they could plan out the construction of the course.
 
Maya smiled to Jersey as she quickly cleaned her desk, as it was rather messy in there and a lot of childhood memories from before Jersey had been sealed away. She smiled as Lucifer entered the office shortly after them, and sighed as he immediately stepped on a file and placed it on her desk. "You ever clean here?" Lucifer asked sarcastically, as he already knew no one was allowed entrance except them. "Why of course! I place her once ever hundred years!" Maya said honestly, smiling as she brought some fresh paper and the construction of their current courses. It was melee training, ranged training, magical training and angology (The teaching of angels, to know their weak spots).
