Sage smiled at Philips discoveries. She continued to look around the kitchen for anything else. In the floor was a small cardboard box that had "Food drive" written on the outside of it. "BINGO!" She said happily making her way to the box, inside were tons of cans, they could feed the group for about a week. She smiled back at Philip. "The group will be very happy with us about this.we should check the other rooms too."

Jessica shook her head, "I think they went upstairs... I need to straighten Phillips leg... He's in no condition to be walking around like that... just because we're in an apocalypse doesn't mean we're invincible. So can you go find him before he completely wrecks his leg?" Jessica asked, a strained stress in her voice. She rubbed her forehead with the back of her hand, looking at the Jesus on the cross statue.

"I say we make a great team if i do say so myse-" Rain cut him off, he whipped out his knife in panic but quickly put it away once he realize there was no danger. "Care to join us ? We were just about to check out the other rooms, if you're interested."


Of course he wanted to be alone with Sage, maybe he could get Rain to check out a room by herself so they could be together, but then again, he didnt want to make another enemy by turning away from Rain.

After patiently following the people from the woods and sleuthing through the trees, Gracie-Anne found herself standing before a church. It appeared to be safe enough and the two people from before had seemed harmless. I should meet them she thought as she absentmindedly picked at a spot of dried blood on her overalls. She had just begun walking toward the building when an undead came toward her, growling low in it's throat. It took her by surprise but she managed to kick it's legs out from under it before falling backward herself. As it clawed at her, she took a large gulp of air and let out an ear-piercing scream. Maybe someone in the church would hear me. She thought to herself.

Justice felt his cheeks flush with anger. He didn't know Philip or rain well enough to trust his baby sister alone with them . He was just about to head upstairs when he heard a a loud scream. What a FUCKING surprise. He said out loud , loud enough for everybody to hear. He opened the door, but before he could react Rain ran past him cutting off the brains head.

Rain ran down the stairs when she heard the scream.Running outside seeing a girl being attacked by a undead.She cuts off the undeads head then asked if the girl was ok

Gracie-Anne stared in astonishment. There was a decapitated corpse lying before her and a girl standing just a few feet away.


"Thank you... so... thank you." She panted breathlessly before swallowing down hard.

"dont want anyone dying now do we"rain says as she reaches her hand out for the girl to take.which was true she didn't want anyone else dying and she would help anyone she could even if she didn't trust them.

Philip tried rushing down the stairs to see what the commotion was about, his ankle gave way again near the middle of the stairs which caused him to plunge down. No serious damag was caused to his body, except his ankle worsened and he was of course embarrassed. He looked at Justice, and then at the little girl. Another one ? He thought to himself, Justice didn't seem too thrilled either, he gave Phillip a sour look.

Gracie-Anne managed a half smile and looked at the girls outstretched hand. It had been a long time since she'd had any human contact whatsoever. Gracie-Anne grabbed the girls hand.

Sage who had been shocked by the commotion ran down the stairs after Philip, he tumbled over. Sage went after Philip "Are you ok?" She said trying to help him up. Justice appeared before her looking down at her coldly. Sage lowered her eyes to Philip whose ankle looked in terrible shape.


"What were you two doing up there."


Justice demanded angrily.


"We were just looking for supplies Justice." Sage argued back.


"Oh really, and what type of "supplies" did you find up there." He said accusing.


For the first time, sage smiled. "Go look."


Justice wondered up the stairs , he came to a long hallway. Torwards the end was a room . He walked down torwards it. When he entered, his anger vanished when he saw all the food inside the kitchen. He actually smiled.

The seering pain from the hot rod of metal was just starting to cool when there was a piercing scream from outside, Charlie limped up and hobbled outside where a girl was surrounded by dead. By the time he got outside, the group was surrounding the girl, inviting her into the church. He could still hear moaning. He quickly realized the moaning of the dead was coming from the cut off heads.


"Come on, dont you know you have to kill the brain?" He said to the group as he pulled out his machete and hacked into the three zombie heads with it.

"yeah we knew we aren't as dumb as you think we are all I want to do was to keep the damn thing off of her."Rain glared at Charlie.He seemed like a guy I could get along with if he wasn't such an ahole.Rains face softens and she smiles at Charlie. Maybe if I try to be nice he wont be like that.

"Yeah im okay, thanks for asking," he said it so Justice could hear him. He then turned and looked at Safe with sort of a sad puppy-dog face, and asked her for her help in order to get up."Hey Jessica? Mind looking at my ankle now ?" He asked in desperation, the pain was consuming his entire leg now, he knew this wouldnt be good.

Rain pulled the girl up asking her if she wanted to come inside where it was warm.

"My name's Gracie-Anne," she said, her eyes wide. "I have a gun my Momma gave me - it's in my backpack." She continued. Gracie-Anne's heart skipped at the invitation inside into the warmth and she immediately accepted. Maybe this group would be okay.

Without a moment's hesitation, Gracie-Anne followed the girl - Rain - into the building. Mumbling a string of 'thank-you's the whole way.

"I thought you were" He said Jokingly as he gave her a wink. "Lets get back inside before of more of them come" He said as he limped back inside the church. As he entered he spotted the boy who he still didnt know the name off and.. sage who seemed to be just standing up after tumbling down the stairs. "Sorry to interrupt your cries for attention" He said looking at the boy "But we may have another injured" He said looking at Sage and then to Jessica.

Jessica rolled her eyes "maybe if you could listen for once your leg wouldn't have a clean break, come by the fire so I can see..." she helped him toward the fire and sat down and smirked at Phillip, "you're smart one eh?" She was tired of the kids not listening to her, "hey what's over there?" She pointed toward the wall to distract him as she moved his leg back into place. She had found a post earlier and she put it up to his leg, wrapping a cloth around it so he doesn't move his leg at all "would hurt less if you stayed on your ass like I said." She patted his head, "you better listen now if you don't wanna walk without a limp" Jessica stood up, "now who..." she said angrily to Charlie


Emi giggled and went over to Phillip, "I think you made her a little grumpy," Emi shrugged, "I haven't seen her that mad in years." She smiled and went over to the church doors where everyone was outside. She watched Charlie kill one of the dead. Just in the short time she had known him a small attraction grew. She quickly went inside and sat on one of the benches everyone was coming inside now.

Rain sat down back in her corner looking at everything.Earlier it was just her and her sister now there's so many of us."well this is the group Gracie-Anne maybe later we will learn everyone else names.".

Once Gracie-Anne was inside she immediately felt a little warmer. She stuck close to Rain and surveyed the area. "How long have you been together? The group?" She asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.

The shifting of his leg caused a great amount of pain to course through his body, but at the same time it felt alright. He nodded at Jessica and ignored whatever bullshit Emi had to say. "Hey Charlie... I really wish that bandit that fired at you knew how to really aim. You'd look much better with that hole in your head." He knew he shouldn't have said that but he couldn't resist his smart-ass comments. He knew this would anger Charlie, and Probably Emi, he laughed and waited for the reaction.

Jessica looked down at Phillip and narrowed her eyes, knowing he was trying to piss off Emi, "you know you're an asshole right? Being like that ain't gonna get people to like you." Jessica pretended to trip over Phillips leg, knowing it would cause him a lot of pain, "woopsie" she tried to sound innocent and turned Charlie around so no fights were started, she gave him a gentle shove in the other direction. She sat down on a bench and crossed her arms. "Ive always hated babysitting" Jessica said
