((Sorry guys i fell asleep earlier last night, my sleep schedules so scrwed up lately and i needed more than 1-2 hours of sleep last night xD ))

Sage crawled to the tailgate
Of the truck. She hugged her knees as she watched the traffic slowly fade away. On the side of the road she saw some walkers eating at a deer. "I wonder how animals don't get the infection," she said out loud. She also wondered silently if any dogs were still living. She knew at least one cat was, but what about other species? Were humans nearly the only ones left?

Rain looked at sage wondering the same thing about the animals."Maybe its because the virus doesn't work on other species."She said as she played with the strings on her boots.

"Maybe not." Sage said looking around at the truck bed. She had wanted to rest, but there wasn't much room for her to lay back. She laid uncomfortably with her head leaning on the side of the truck bed. They kept hitting bumps in the road and knew she wouldn't get much sleep resting her head like that.

Phillip saw Sage looking rather uncomfortable next to him in the bed of the truck. He slid over, making almost no room in between them, and ut his arm around her back and gently pulled her in close. Her head leaned on his shoulder, he didn't know if she was actually okay with this, but she was tired and needed sleep, and he was much more of a pillow than the truck was. He smiled at her as her eyes closed, he began to pla with the locks of her hair and he two, began to doze off to sleep.

As odd as it was that Philip did this, Sage didn't care. She was tired and Philip was comfortable. In fact she was glad he had. She mumbled a thank you and drifted off to sleep in Philips arms.

Rain saw sage leaning on Phillip and felt a pange of pain.not that she liked Phillip or was jealous of Sage its just that she missed doing that with her ex well he was her boyfriend till he got bit and she had to shoot him.He was the first undead that she killed. She moved her legs closer to her and placed her head on her knees thinking about what it was like before everything went to hell.

Up ahead of the group Troye and Alex were just beginning to see the little town that they were going to.
They entered the town
And turned a small curve which was the road to the police station. They came to a stop in front of a tiny building that read "Shelby county Police station". Alex and Tryoe got out the car, and opened up the trucks tailgate. Troye smiled as the girl Alex called Sage was leaning into the boy that had obviously liked her. Alex saw this too. He began to help the kids out. "There's only 4 showers, so ladies first. Little girl, little girls sister, Jessica and Sage you guys are first. " he said assisting the little girl out. " Troye ran to the police station and opened the door.
They entered the town

The truck came to an abrupt stop. Phillip yawned and opened his eyes, Sage was still in his arms, he smiled. He shook her a little so that she woke up and pointed to the police station "We're here," he whispered. He jumped out of the truck and extended a hand to Sage, helping her out. "Guess you get to shower first, lucky." He chuckled. He walked into the station, and began setting up his own little area for the time that they were to be settled there, and all he could think about was taking a nice hot shower.

Rain was so happy to be taking a shower that she almost fell out of the truck and into Alex "oh sorry"She said moving back and grabbing MacKenzie's hand not letting her out of sight till they got to the showers.She turned on the water as hot as she could enjoying the water.When she got out she was a little disappointed that it ended.

Jessica climbed out of the truck and smiled at Troye, "I can wait till last... I don't like showering around people..." she said shyly and shrugged. She leaned against the truck amd watched her sister get out, assisted by Charlie. A smirk touched her lips and she rolled her eyes.
Emi saw her sister roll her eyes and giggled, "what?" She nuged her sister snd walked into the police station.

Sages eyes lit up as Philip told her she was showering first. Troye showed her , Mackenzie , Rain and Emi to the showers. Troye made a promise that there'd be clean clothes outside of their showers when they got done and he told them to take their time. When Sage turned the knob of the shower she was surprised to see not only that there was water, but Hot water.

Charlie helped Emi out of truck, it seemed like the two of them had some weird relationship going on. They were now at a small town which was just before the city. Everyone quickly rushed into the police station. Charlie was last to enter as he kept looking around suspiciously for any sign of bandits or biters.

Troye and Alex took the girls dirty clothes with them. They would need them to know what sizes the girls were , so they could find them some new clothes. Alex wrote down the sizes of each girl before he ran to a small clothes shop and returned with everyone's new clothes.

Rain got out finding new clothes but her boots were gone and she panicked.They were her mothers and they were the only things that she would were.She got dressed and knowing that Alex was the one who gave them the clothes maybe he's know what happened to her boots.
She spotted him in a private investigators office spinning in a chair.
"Umm excuse me but have you seen my boots."She asked shyly.

"oh ok...well mine are gone but I probably just misplaced them.Thanks though."she walks back to where the showers were and searched everywhere.She finally found them in the corner."thank god."she whispered to herself ad she put them on then walked back to one of the offices sitting in the chair going through the drawers looking for another gun.

Sage, who had dragged her shower out as long as she possibly could finally decided it was time to get out. When Sage got out, there was a towel and clothes. She wrapped the towel around her body and went through the clothes that Alex had brought her. There were underwear, a cute sweater, a scarf, warm socks and some skinny jeans. She smiled, for a grown man he knew her style pretty well. She dried her body before getting dressed. She combed through her hair with her fingers and walked out to the part where everyone was sitting, and she sat beside Philip.

Charlie went straight to the armory, and to no surprise it was locked, the key had to be in one of the offices. He walked to the other side of the station where he found Rain searching an office. "Found anything?" He asked her, leaning on the door frame.

Phillip looked at age and smiled "well you clean up good!" He sat with her for a few moments before falling to the temptation of the showers."If there's any hot water left, I'd like to take a shower," he told her jokingly. He got up and walked to the shower room, making sure all of the girls had finished their showers before walking in. He told Alex what sizes he was and grabbed a towel and headed into the shower.
For once, he had a tiny piece of civilization, if you could call it that. He just sat in the shower, pretty much motionless, and took on the hot water, enjoying every single drop of it. Scars covered his torso and his arms. Surviving was tough, and for once he was not just surviving, he was living. He scrubbed all the dirt and blood from his body, and walked out of the shower. His clothes were gone, but no new ones were in their place. He rolled his eyes "oh come on guys, this isn't fucking funny!" He wrapped the towel around his waist and looked outside of the door, "Who took my clothes?" He asked.
