Jessica nodded and started looking in some cars, she found a few cool things like a opal necklace, vanilla perfume, eyeliner, a gold ring and a first aid kit. She was happy with the things she found so she kept them in her backpack. She kept trudging along and looked in a truck, but yelped when a hand grabbed her boot. It was just a walker without a jaw and she shook her head, "jesus..." she bashed its skull in and turned the keys on the car, it roared to life, and had over a half a tank of gas.
Emi hummed as she rummaged through cars, the thing that caught her attention was a small sketch book, she rummaged through the pages looking at all the beautiful drawings. Emi slipped it im her backpack and caught up to her sister.

Phillip walked along the road, keeping his eyes on the bottoms of the vehicles. The thought that there may be biters underneath the cars scared him to death. He jumped a little when he heard the truck start up, but was also relieved, maybe he wouldn't have to walk the entire way after all. He rushed over to Jessica and peered through the window of the opposite side of the truck at her "it have gas?" he asked her.

She ran her hand through her hair with a sigh of relief, she really didn't want any of them to split up.

Charlie walked over to where Emi was searching, his limp was much less noticeable now and he couldnt feel a whole lot of pain from the bullet wounds. "There's nothing to tell" He said avoiding her question. The rumble of the truck not far up the road made him flinch as he grabbed his pistol, although not pulling out of the holster. Charlie had become quite untrusting and anti-social from his experience on the road.

Phillip's spirit lifted when she brought him the good news and he nodded at her. He walked as fast as he could and didnt pay attention to the pain in his foot, he was getting out of here. "Troye! Alex! Jessica got us a car, half a tank full and it'll fit all of us !" He didnt realize he was yelling this down the road.
Some biters emerged out of the woods that surrounded the road near Phillip. He counted 4 of them, but more were sure to come "oh shit, what have I done...." There was no use in being quiet now, he needed everyone's attention "guys we gotta get moving now !! Get in the truck!" His knife was out and he was ready for confrontation.

"Idiot" Charlie mumbled to himself as four biters emerged from the side of the road due to the noise Philip had made. He pulled out his machete abd ran up the road towards the biters. He hacked down all four of the biters quite quickly. "Dont F@cking yell!" He said angrily to Philip.

Sage stood next to Philip, she watched the walkers emerge from the woods, "That's not too many, I'll handle them just watch my back. " she said handing Philip a small pistol. Sage walked forward drawing out her pocket knife, she teased the walkers a bit and waited til they got closer before she stabbed them, but as she stabbed into one of the walkers brain she noticed that it was defiantly not just a few. "Oh shit oh shit." Sage said as she ran back to the group , the truck was already running. She saw Troye and Jessica in Troyes car watching her. "Hurry up!" They yelled at her. She realized they still had to get the truck around the rest of the traffic. Sage jumped in the bed of the truck. "Go go go." She said watching as dozens of walkers came from the woods.

Troye drove ahead in his car, Alex sat next to him. Troye was leading the group to the police station for showers. "Jessica seems nice." He said winking at Alex.

Charlie fired at the biters, hitting each shot before he leaped into the bed of the truck just as it sped off down the highway. After he sat up, he punched Philip hard in the arm (just an annoyed punch, not a violent one). "Thats for yelling" He spat.

Although Phillip hated how sad, and isolated Sage was being lately, he admired how ruthless she had become toward the biters. Something he's never seen before, especially from a small girl like her.
The car ride was almost embarrassing, as he knew most people in the car had at least thought of calling him an idiot or scolding him in another way. He looked Charlie, who had just punched him "cool it buddy, we're all safe.." He had no defence for himself, because he knew he had fucked up pretty badly. And the fact that others had to clean up the mess for him, didn't make him feel any better.

Jessica glanced back at the group "okay cool it kids, this is no knes damn fault now stop your complaints for the restmof the trip." She reached over and dug in the glove compartment, she found an old cd and saw that it was an old johnny cash cd. She smiled and put it in the player, keeping the volume on low. She let the music calm her.
Emi shook her head at Charlie "we're all okay, Phillip just made a mistake. No big deal" she said quietly and pulled her knees to her chest and looking at the old jewelry she found, one was an engagement ring, a gorgeous expensive one. She put it on her pointer finger and stayed quiet for the rest of the trip.

Charlie was about to explode on Phillip but stopped as he caught the look that Emi was giving him, he liked her. That was until Sage told him off. "Sorry for trying to keep us all safe, they were literally flooding the road, it was a last resort" Charlie spat angrily back at Sage. The Zombies already knew they were there, Charlie had little choice, if hadnt of fired his gun, there may have been casualties.

Phillip put his hand on Sage's leg, trying to calm her down. He didn't want another fight breaking loose" no he's right, I'm an idiot for doing that..." He looked down and frowned. Although he hated Johnny cash music he could hear it playing in the truck, and he enjoyed hearing something that reminded him of the way things were before the crysis. He hasn't listened to music in months, it was a nice treat to have.

Troye sped up, the town was only 20 minutes away, but the ride was takin forever. His plans for the town were
1. Get these people showers
2. Find them some decent clothes
3. Break into the Veternarian office and search for medicine.
4.Find a bar and get some booze
5. Settle for the night.
Anybody wanna goo....? Or or we done for the night
