Seeing how most weapons have been looted along with ammunition, Careena still didn't want to leave empty-handed. She started by looking around for Antibiotics.

Joseph just now noticed how badly xD spoke. He looked at the hoard of zombies. Well, they had three people, and they all had weapons "Let's go." said Joseph in an extreme way, just like in one of the comics from the glove box.

Although it took some effort, Careena found what she was looking for. She took what she needed before looking around. The next thing she would need is something to protect her eyes so the Infected Blood would not get into her eye and a scarf of sorts so the Blood wouldn't get into her mouth. When she turned around, an Infected Soldier had spotted her and tried to attack her. With quick thinking, she took the Undead Soldier's own knife and stabbed him through his chin. When she got ready to leave, she found a dozen infected wondering around, but have yet to notice her.

"STOP THE CAR!" Joanne yelled as the city was almost visible. She quickly opened the door and made a run towards what appeared to be a dozen of undead, on the other side was the Military Blockade. But who is that... She squinted her eyes recognizing the girl. IT WAS HER! She almost yelled but knew better than to catch the undead's attention. So instead she raised her hand waving in the air hoping she'll see her.

Joseph curiously walked out of the jeep and walked towards Joanne. He saw what she saw, what she was trying to do. She was trying to wave to THAT girl. Joseph also tried waving. She didn't join last time, at least she might join this time.

Xobic stopped the car like she said and got out with her.He walked up beside her"I think we're going to need distraction that will be one of us,I volunteer myself."He walk away from the group since the zombies are attracted by sound he will fire his gun in the air when he knows his group would be safe,then start running while making a lot of noise.

Joseph wanted to yell at xD . He was making a distraction, but he didn't assign a path for them to go to the base. Instead, Joseph started running on the side, where the zombies population was... Less, but still there. He whacked them with his nunchucks as he sped through the hoard and arrived at the military base, panting.

After putting the Bottle of Antibiotics in her Rucksack, Careena was greeted by the young girl she left behind earlier. "I used to be in the Military." she replied blankly. "I'm guessing you'd rather travel with me?" She asked the girl.

She turned her attention from Joanne to Joseph. Her facial expression was much more blank compared to the last time she saw him. "Look, hotshot, I'm not interested in fighting with you. Its just a waste of my time." Her voice was still full of sarcasm. "I don't even know why you're even picking fights with me, but I'd really be more worried on saving my skin from the Infected."

You know, more protection? But yeah, we still haven't finished that. You're the one who picked the fight with me. I don't pick fights."

Xobic got back to the group and saw that there was no more Infected around them."My distraction work so good I just cannot believe it"he said that as he was smiling.

Although she did like the idea of travelling in a group, her standoffish personality would more then likely keep her from getting along with Joseph. "How exactly did I provoke you? All I did was decline on your offer to travel with a group and I was being honest." Her sarcasm remained. To him, she may be provocative, but in Careena's own perspective, Joseph was just an immature teenage boy. When Xobic got back to them, Careena figured that it was time to leave, however, she was waiting on Joanne, still wondering if the young woman was willing to travel with her.

Joanne stood there for a while looking for the boys, to Careena. Earlier when she chose to be with the boys she had this unnerving feeling that she made the wrong choice, probably because she'd be more comfortable in the presence of another girl.


Joanne then took a deep breath then looked straight into Careena. "I'm going with you..."

Normally Careena would be scathing of everyone. However, she regretted such behavior when she acted so towards her parents. She didn't get the chance to apologize and now she never will. To atone for this supposed sin, she would play nice with Joanne. To most who knew Careena, if she was nice to you, then that meant there was something special about you to her. Next she directed her attention to Xobic. "I was just here looking for Antibiotics. But my queue to leave already passed. So I'm gonna leave now. Happy Hunting, Boys."


She turned around to leave, knowing that Joanne would be right behind or even next to her. For the first time since leaving the Military, Careena was actually taking someone under her wing.

Joanne walked behind Careena. Her head ducked down, The only reason she survived was because of her stealth. Hiding, keeping her self out of sight and staying quiet. Yes she does kill every now and then, but rarely. Only when she knows she really has to.


She had a feeling that Careena on the other hand was the exact opposite, She can fight, clearly able to defend herself easily.


"So.... you used to be what?..." Joanne asked shyly as they walked away. Clearly no infected anywhere in sight. "I mean before the outbreak..."

"okay that settles it kid let's get the medical supplies because I am joining her group."He ran to the Jeep and got a lot of medical supplies out of it and put them in his bag then ran to catch up to Careena

While walking with Joanne, who asked about what she used to be, Careena conversed with her. "I used to be in the Military. I'm trained to kill..."


She stopped when she heard running. Was it a Survivor or one of the Infected? With no way to tell for sure, Careena kept on her guard. "Stay right behind me." She told Joanne. When she turned around, Careena saw Xobic running to catch up to her, much to her own dismay. She sighed frustratingly as he approached them.

"like I said we first met I have a lot of medical supply and I don't mind sharing with a group."He bow to apologize"I'm sorry for scaring you."

Despite him trying to be sincere, Careena had no interest. She completely ignored his apology and quickly got very scathing. "Look, I think its great that you're prepared, but I have no interest in travelling with you. If we miraculously end up in the same safe haven in the future, then maybe I'll work with you...But the bigger the group, the more attention we'll attract. That's kind of what I don't want." She expressed the fact that she had no interest in travelling with Xobic.


Although she was blunt, she was very honest. "I'm just being honest, if you don't like it, you don't have to be around me." She then turned around to go ahead and leave with Joanne, being done with the conversation.
