The ships horn filled the air with a chilling blast as the ship began to depart (It's a fog horn designed to be frightening) from port.

"Same to you." Shadow takes wing to leave Dim to trying to handle his subordinates while returning to deal with her own.


 
"And away we go I suppose." Star says to himself.

"Take it you're not a smoker then?"

"My father is on life support because of those damn things." The pegasus said with a scowl.

Caramel runs back towards the edge of the railing "THIS IS AMAZING" He yells as he watches Canterlot disappear.

"Heh, I think I like this one. Can we keep him? Preferably still sane." Thinks for a moment. "And if we fail at that can I make sure we make him the right kind of crazy?"

 

[Balancer]

An awkward silence hangs over the area as Blue watches the mare's face. Slowly he extinguishes the smoke and spits it out. "Sorry,"

"Yeah what ever" The mare says as she walks away.

"What?" Caramel asks.

 

[Ebonysdagger]

"Nothing. Just talking to myself. So you like flying eh?"


(I can get in about another 30 minutes and then I'm going to have to hit the hay in order to be rested up for that work later today.)

 

[Balancer]

Well aren't we just smooth today? An all too familiar voice chides Blue.


How was I supposed to know her dad was a in hospital? He thinks back before scowling at the horizon as an ashen grey mare sits beside him, her hair blowing opposite to the wind. She tilts her head back and laughs, her peals of laughter ringing out over the deck as Blue's scowl deepens.


"Stupid hallucination." He grumbles.

Dim trots over to Blue "Get rejected bud?" he asks somewhat sympathetically.

"Commit it to memory, kid. It is the simple things in life that are the best after all." Star tells him as he looks back toward Canterlot. "And they also tend to mark the start of a story worth telling to someone."

 

[Balancer]

Shaking his head Blue frowns. "It's not always about tail Dim." He says with a sigh, the apparition fading as Dim walks through it. "I could ask the same of you, not one for bat ponies but I can respect your tastes."

"You know it kind of feels like I'm just a regular private again, but the worst part is it feels natural" Oh well hopefully the feeling will pass faster than last time.

"With any luck it will. I suppose we should try and find your friend. I think she took offense to something Blue did."

Dim laughs before he gets serious all of a sudden "Just remember that around my sister, go it."

"I would just leave her be, she'll get over it" Caramel says as he peers of the ledge.

"I'm not interested in Greenwall like that Dim, just battlefield flirting, nothing more." Blue says, a serious tone in his voice as he looks at Dim.

"Keep it that way" Dim says before chuckling and asking "Now who were you talking to when she left?"

 

[Ebonysdagger]

"Ah. Sounds like most of the other pegasi I've known then. So any enchants you going to need before we start this? I have no doubt its going to be hectic once we arrive."


(You know, I'm half tempted to go off in an rp thread where Shadow actually looks up who Star is just out of humor.)

 

[Balancer]

"Just a couple of ghosts." Blue mumbles as he looks back out over the horizon.

Blue rubs his face, a tired look in his eyes. "How old are you Dim?" He asks.

 

[Ebonysdagger]

"Well put simply we put magic into things to make them have unusual effects." He levitates a coin out of his robe. "This for example could be turned into an electric mine just waiting for someone to step on it and fry them with a minor enchantment. Similarly one could make it so a sword doesn't get damaged as easily or cuts better than its edge would provide. There are a lot of things an enchanter can do provided they know the spells."


 
(Well I'm off guys. Let me know when we can do this again. Warning ahead though I'll be out late next Friday and probably won't even be home until after 9 east 8 cent.)

Blue mentally does some numbers in his head. "So your about 15ish years younger than me, don't look it." He says, flashing a quick smile before frowning. "Sorry if i'm bit out of it right now, after everything I've seen some of it refuses to stay in the past. You know how it is."

"Heh once drink as much as I have you start to forget." Dim says with a shrug.
