I have a few questions about the setting that would help me out a bit. Is this supposed to be a low fantasy medieval-world with the existence of a "magic?" Also, are there any irregular species (dragons, giants, orcs, etc) or is it just creatures that would appear on Earth?

In no man's land/uninhabited there are magical creatures of any sort you care to write about, and very rarely are the same creatures present in areas far away from the uninhabited lands.


This is around the introduction of wheel/Flint/matchlocks, with 'magic' as it is.
