ten enter the crucible, the gates are only opened when all ten keys (one posessed by each person) are placed in the center and at least four are dead, one would think that this would be simple - there is an all out battle and the last 6 alive leave however 1,000,000 crowns is split between each surviving member and throughout the 112 years the crucible has taken place, no more than 4 have ever left alive. Each member of the fighters was able to bring one weapon with them however this is all they were allowed, if they chose a ranged weapon they got no arrows or bolts for it, they would have to fletch their ammunition themselves. The arena is a large area, with trees coating much of the outer arena and a small island in the center of a pool of crystal blue water. The arena's diameter is roughly a mile, with each participant spaced evenly out.
-This game would be based around making alliances, breaking alliances and fighting with or against the fellow players
- I am GM and I shall decide how each action plays out, you have to accept my decision and you have to acknowledge the fact that your character will probably die
- If I get 10 people interested I shall start as soon as the final one tells me, if not I shall fill any empty places with NPC's under my control and with backstories that I have designed
- 1 character per person, I don't want someone having 5 characters and just allying with themselves to win
- No leading actions (I stab ***** through the chest), however you are perfectly welcome to say things such as (I stab at *****'s chest) which I shall decide the outcome of.
- Again, your character is probably gonna die, nothing personal but it's statistically likely that someone's gonna either murder you in open combat or dick you over.
- Nobody should die of natural causes, there are no predators in the arena and all berries and such are not poisonous (alone, if you combine their juices they can form poisons)
- You will be given 1 weapon and 5 skills of your choice, the 5 skills are ALL the skills you have and I don't want to see anything like "woodland survival" because that can mean a bunch of things, if you're struggling to think of skills that would be approved I'll add a list. Weapons and skills are are allowed or disallowed at my discretion. You can still do things that aren't in your skills at an amateur level.
apart from that, let me know if this is something you would enjoy.
P.S. if there is a demand for it I would be willing to GM a version of this with superpowers/magic added in but for the moment I'll use this, I don't want to get into an argument about balancing.
