"The time for making deals is over. I warned you once, since I have run out of patience with you I shall not again. This time we fight!" Kai barked. Kai released a shockwave that blew away all the burned trees leaving the area much more open. "I'll stop you now." Kai said.

"Well now I don't have to worry about burning things, as much." he said under his breath as he looked around at the now empty place. He took his hand and light his own aura on fire as he, still, waited for one of them to make a move so he pulled out a piece of meat and started eating on it, better now than never.

Suddenly a robed figure jumped in between the 3 of them. "That's enough you three, save your strength for later, you will need it." Xavier looked at the figure and motioned towards the followers that everything was ok. "Long time no see, Kalim" he said in a open tone, grinning. "Fine with me, I don't feel like fighting anyways, to much to do, after all the star is coming as we wouldn't want her destroyed, isn't that right Kalim? Kalim with a calm tone looked at Xavier and spoke "Xavier is right... even though I do not agree with his methods, she must be saved" Xavier got up finally and started to walk to away "I'm being called, apparently I am needed" he pointed up towards the sky. Suddenly, as if he was being lifted up by something, stared to go off into the sky. Xavier used his link with Ankasha and spoke to her "You are incharge for now, I will be back soon."

Ash walked up beside Kai and placed his hand on his shoulder and said to him "Hey, idea, look at it this way, here it's only two on one, no audiance, no crowd, no glory. Let's take him up on his offer, let him have his fun little run around while he still can, then we kick his ass at the turnament, biggest crowd there will be in five hundred years, think of the humiliation he will get, all the embarassment, he would be the laughing stock, self proclaimed king cant even defend himself. Think about it Kai, you and I both know it's tempting, he will take the hardest hit to his ego." Ash said all of this like the snake from adam and eve, the thought goes right to your head and sticks there.

 

[Federoff]

After Xavier left Kalim turned to the two boys and looked at them. "I would not be cocky if I were you, Xavier is a powerful opponent indeed, the best thing you can do right now is save your energy and wait to be evaluated an qualification round. I would recommend you two train, for even if you do somehow... beat Xavier you will have to somehow be able to reflect the impact... I hope you two are capable of beating him,."

 

[Field Marshall]

Kai listened to Ash picturing all that he said. Kai smirked and his aura faded. "Sounds good to me. Crushing the King's ego, body, and plan at the sametime is even better than it would have been crushing him now." Kai looked at Kalim and waved him off. "Whatever we got this in the bag. Xavier may be strong but so are we. Don't you forget it." Kai turned his back on Kalim. "So Ash want to go and recruit others to participate in crushing the Fool King." he said with glee.

 

[Federoff]

Kalim smiled at the two "Your confidence is great, but remember you have to past the test before you qualify foe the qualification round. Your test will be held tomorrow." With that Kalim was gone...

"Oh absolutely, I bet I could talk Ana into joining us, and I coulda swore that there was a couple other short people running around that I'm sure that I could talk to." He grinned wildly thinking of all the little thoughts he could plant in their heads, oh so many things, but right now he was going to talk to Ana, they had left her behind anyways. "Now, first on our list is Ana, the short, pretty girl." His mind began to wander off with thoughts that should probably not be said aloud.

Ana sighed. She'd been sitting next to Ankasha, waiting for her to wake up. The winds had carried the confrontation in the woods to her and she sighed in dismay at the thought of a war. The thought of a fight made her stomach turn and she just couldn't believe that Ankasha would join that maniac. Lost in her thoughts and listening to Ash and Kai in the woods, she didn't notice when Ankasha jerked awake and left. Ana was left alone in the filed with a corpse of a dead dragon, staring into space.


Ankasha jerked awake when she heard Xavier's voice in her head, quickly she brushed past Ana and took off to her dorm to recover.

Ash walked up behind Ana and knelt down and gave her a surprise hug and put his face next to hers. "Whatcha thinkin bout there Ana." he was very sarcastic in what he was saying being stupid about it as well then he whispered in her hear. "Was it me." he let her go and wandered off to the dragon carcass and started to cut back at it pulling of the meat.

Ana jumped in surprise when Ash hugged her. "Maybe I was." she grinned. Gracefully rising from her crouch, she paused when she noticed that Ankasha was gone but dismissed it and followed Ash. As he cut meat off, she decided to try out her powers and pushed a burst of wind in between its bones and flesh and gave a sharp jab so the bones were pushed. The effect was the instantaneous; the body slumped over, the flesh immediately spearing into a puddle. Ana turned to Ash, "There, that should make it a lot easier, instead of pealing it from the bones, you just have to skin and chop it!" She gave him an innocent smile, leaning against the bones and peering up at him.

 

[Field Marshall]

From Heaven Sora was watching proceedings. "Seems I'm needed down there. I've finished this crash course of Divine Force Manipulation with Michael. I should make my way back down there." A pillar of light surrounded Sora as he prrepared to teleport back to the school. A pillar of light appeared near the dragon bones and then Sora did, then the light faded. "Saw what was up." Sora said.


Kai who had went with Ash back to the dragon bones said "Alright that's another recruit for our team. I assume you went to Heaven to learn one of the stronger divine powers.


"You know it." Sora replied.


Then two othet people popped into Kai's mind. "Why don't we recruit Noctis and Belia?" Kai said.

"Well if that's the case don't stop thinking, I like to know I'm being thought of, but you never know if I'm thinking of you." He took his hand and pressed it against the skin of the dragon and walked down the whole thing as the skin the peeled back as he walked to the tail. He then took the meat whole and started stuffing it in his pouch, little by little he finally got it all there as he drug the skin over to Kai and looked at the new person "Here you go, and who might you be." he said very bluntly towards Sora.

 

[Field Marshall]

"Sora Ashura the Ascended Hero recently curse free." Sora answered. "I was watching and know the situation down here. I'm with you guys on this one."


Kai took the skin and said "Awesome maybe I should make myself some dragon armor out of this though I pierced these scales pretty easily. Maybe I could ........" Kai's mind drifted off to what he could make the scales into.

Ash took a hand and flicked Kia'a ear to get his attention back on the task at hand. "Well that's another on our side, well met Sora, I'm Ashatera Rin Gollare, the Original Windigo." He walked back over to Ana and picked her up again and walked past Kia and Sora "Well if you two don't mind, I have a bit of, conversing, to do. Don't to forget to fill in Sora and get Noctis and Belia in on this as well." He put emphasis on the word conversing as he wandered off with Ana in his arm.

Ankasha gingerly lowered herself into a steaming bath. With a groan, she realized she'd have to ask Ash to help her readjust to her powers because the amount of power she put into that summoning put a lot of stress on her body, her muscles were aching. Leaning back, she turned on the jets, and slipped into an exhausted sleep. It was close enough to sundown that she didn't care.


Ana squeaked, clinging to Ash when he picked her up. Giggling, she swung her legs happily as he carried her away. "You know, you seem a lot more, I don't know, excited now a days." She raised an eyebrow, ensuring he knew what she meant by 'excited'. "I don't really mind, but I thought you'd be more focused on war strategy or something." She said, tugging on his hair playfully.

"I wouldn't call it excited more than I would call it, revived to say." He wandered through the halls for a bit before he took a right down the angels dorms and stopped in front of Ana's room. He could hear few angels in the hall already gossiping about the two of them. He opened her door and set her down inside her room as he closed it behind her and sat down on the ground and leaned against the door. "Normally I would be, but were just dealing with an army and a nimrod of a self proclaimed king, I alone would hold him at a draw in battle for who knows how long."

"Hm, true. Well, I like revived you." She tossed herself onto the couch. Barely a second later she sprung back up like a jack in the box. "Actually, it's so great, that I think we should celebrate revived you." She said, darting to the kitchen and popping back with a bottle of bourbon and a bottle of flavored vodka. "I didn't think you'd like cake flavored vodka, so I got you some bourbon." She chirped, throwing herself back on the couch. Holding the bottle out invitingly, she gestured to the seat next to her on the couch.

"Well it seems like I rubbed off on you a bit, don't you think." He watched as she got the two bottles from her kitchen and then sat back down on the couch. "I don't think I would like it either." He got up off the floor and sat down next to Ana on the couch as he picked up the bottle from her hands and pulled the lid off and held it up to a toast "To me." He paused for a bit before continuing "To..... to us." as he said us he leaned over and gave Ana a small kiss on the cheek.

Ana froze in surprise when he kissed her cheek. "To us." She nodded. After a long internal debate, she chugged about 1/4th of the bottle and, ignoring the burn, she climbed onto the back of the couch so she was a bit taller than him, leaned over and said, "If you're going do it, do it right." Not letting herself over think it, she caught his lips in a quick kiss, drawing back quickly. Giving him a small smile, she settled back on her side of the couch and looked down at her bottle, ignoring the blush she could feel spreading across her face. "I'm warning you right now, I get very giggly when I'm drunk o you better brace yourself."

"I'm gonna go see Azura and update her on the situation. You should go find Belia and Noctis." Sora said as he vanished in a flash and reappeared next to Azura. @HoneyBear\-Kat


Kai said "Well I'm gonna go make some use of these scales I'll recruit Noctis and Belia later." Kai Flash Stepped to his dorm and darted into his Vault. He worked the scales into an orb then imbued them it with magic. He set it aside on the shelves dedicated to magic orbs. He exited his Vault making sure to seal it and settled down on his bed. "I could use some women about now." he said. As if answering his call two hot female second years appeared in the doorway. Kai got up and locked his front door and returned to his bedroom. "Tims to relieve some stress." he said.

He drank about the same amount as Ana did in the bottle before she interrupted his drink with a kiss on the lips, he was awe struck a bit as his cheeks blushed a light blue as he half expected her to slap him for doing it in the first place. "Well I'm going to tell you, I'm not going to brace myself, I'm going to brace you, maybe to this couch if your not careful, and, this is how you do it." He took his bottle and hers for a second as he pulled her against him and gave her a big kiss as he sat her back up and gave her the bottle back and he took his and drank another quarter of it.

Ana blinked, stunned. Letting out a shaky breath, she took a large gulp of vodka too, shaking her head in determination when her vision started tilting. After a few minutes of both of them drinking, Ana stared at the bottle thoughtfully, and when she could finally focus her vision, she burst into giggles at the picture of a piece of cake on it. Unsure why she was giggling, she none the less collapsed laughing, falling into Ash. "It's a cake on a bottle, look! Ha, caaaaake in a bottle!" She sung, her voice painfully off key as she held the bottle up to Ash for him to inspect.

As he finished off his bottle he didn't feel much of a buzz but it was the thought that counted though, he looked over to her as she was holding up the bottle "Yes it's a cake in a bottle Ana, a cake in a bottle." He knew that she had had more than her share of alcohol for the night, he took the bottle from her hand and set it down on the floor as he looked for her bed he picked her up and set her down on it as he walked back into the living room and took off his tailcoat and hung it over the back of the chair and walked back into her room and laid down with her and wrapped his arm around her as well before he passed out holding her hand.
