Kai was gone before the first drop even hit the ground. He was inside back in his dorm room contemplating waiting for the tournament or just going after Xavier now. He decided to get to work with imbuing the equipment in his vault with special properties.

"Yea, now I know that the love of my life is gone forever." He looked up at her just before one of his black tears rolled down his cheek and onto her dress. "I, I'm, I don't know anymore." he looked down to the floor and dropped his head on her knees again and reached for his halo and pulled out a pinch of gold dust "I can't even spin my halo like I used to." He half ass laughed at it trying to make himself feel better, yet somehow just being near Ana was comforting enough. @Dark Elfling

Ana cupped his face, raising it to her level. His height made it so, even kneeling, he was just below eye level. "Ash, I-I don't know what to say. You're not that person anymore, you know what you did was wrong. You can't beat yourself up over this, I hate seeing you like this." She said, the last part of her sentence muffled as she buried her face in his hair, enveloping him in a warm hug, her winds forming a cocoon around the both of them.


Ankasha retreated as well, this time actually going to her dorm to change. She formed a shield of cold around herself, the rain freezing and bouncing off so she didn't get wet. Lost in her thoughts, she wandered to the training fields, standing in the middle, gazing around the empty field as her dress billowed around her. Crouching, she drew a summoning circle around her, the cir le lighting up in hot ice. Drawing some power from inside herself, she decided to practice her summoning skills with ER new found power. Pushing a burst of energy into the field, she jerked back in surprise when instead of a giant lizard, a full blown dragon appeared in the field. The last thing she heard before she was knocked unconscious by overpowering her spell was its almighty roar. Someone's going to have to take care of that.' She thought as the black enveloped her.

He was struck dumbfounded when she lifted his face and then even more so when she hugged him. He just kind of sat there lost in his own world with what Ana just said still floating around in his head 'You can't beat yourself up over this, I hate seeing you like this.' '...I hate seeing you like this.'. He wrapped his arms around her and gave her a big hug for just being here to listen to him, and more so for being a friend, he didn't have many of those, just Kai and Ana. That's more than he had though he was going to make. He lifted Ana up and set her on her bed and let her go before he stood up and spoke. "Look at me, big, mean, and imposing, and I'm crying, how ridiculous." He wiped his tears off his face and onto his pants as he held out his hand to her "Now then, shall we go get something to eat, we never really ate at lunch did we."

Kai was hard at work, he had finished a few dozen weapons, armors, and other equipment when he heard the sound of a roar or rather felt it. He stopped and used his enhanced senses to identify what seemed to be a dragon on the Battlegrounds. Lying near it was Ankasha seemingly unconscious. "She must've lost control of her summoning." he concluded. "I could use a work out." he said leaving his vault then dorm room. He used Flash Step to arrive there in about a minute.

He stood there on the Battlegrounds gazing at the dragon. "I'm gonna make a nice outfit out of you skin dragon." Kai yelled. The dragon roared in response releasing a shockwave. Kai simply shrugged it off an attacked. Using Flash Step he leapt into the air and kicked the dragon in it's head.

Ana smiled up at him, happy that he seemed better now. "Yeah, let's go. Those chips won't hold me over for much longer. Besides, I sense drama in the air, let's go see what's happening." She chirped, grabbing his hand and tugging him out the door. As they walked toward the cafeteria, the faint roar echoed behind them as a dragon reared its head back in pain.

He followed behind Ana as she took his hand along towards the cafateria, his ear twitched once he heard the faint roar of a dragon he grinned again, only his teeth were white instead of blood stained. "I know that sound anywhere, a dragon, good, I've been running a bit low on meat. Let's go." He picked up Ana in both his arms as he extended his newly found white wings and bolted foreward with unimagiable speed, the force of the wings alone knocked over the eight vending machines and sent them flying down the hall crashing into the wall piling up one after the other all half broken. They both were there in a bit over a minuet and he set Ana down as he looked to to Kai and yelled "Want some help."

"I done this plenty of times. But it would give me a chance to test my synchronization ability." Kai said Flash stepping to Ash's side. "Synchronization allows us to not only fight in complete harmony but gives us amplifies our powers along with other benefits. But most of the time I fight solo so I can't do that often." Kai explained. He lifted his hand for a fist bump cloaked in an aura of chi. "We'll synchronize when we fist bump." Kai said.

"Sounds like a deal to me, we are partners after all aren't we." He said half laughing at Kai as his eyes went all black and his aura began to come off of him not as your visual color aura but instead as a physical black colored smoke that smelled like sulfur. Ash lifted up his hand as he was drawing his scythe off his back and gave Kai a good fist bump. "I call the meat from it." He said as he looked back at the dragon hungerly grinning, licking his teeth and lips.

Xavier and his followers returned to the burnt part of the forest, the rain restoring the natural beauty of nature as plants had already started to grow, stronger and healthier then normal, they simply sat around and talked. Suddenly a god and a devil appeared and gave him a status report. The god first spoke "Status report Xavier: 55% of the gods and 45% of the angels are now siding with us: awaiting further command." The devil then spoke "Status report Xavier: Everything is normal in hell, the elfs, draconians, and the vampires, all is still with you: awaiting further command. "Good, anything else?" asked Xavier as he gazed at them. The god spoke "The Orcs are now aligned with us due to the help you gave them, The Patchy has stared the qualifiers and we have already acquired yours along with about 75% of your forces are qualified, awaiting further command." He took the Oracle and took off a glove, revealing the Wu Xing pentagram on his hand. He put it on and then the glove before stating "Good, this looks like it will be an easier year than last, dismissed. In a military fashion the god and the devil saluted "Yes Sir!" before disappearing as fast as they came. A cry came from the earth, Xavier patted the ground and spoke encouraging words "Do not worry, we will save you, just hold on for a little longer, I promise everything will better."

"Let's go for some Team Combination first." Kai said once they were synchronized. "I'll lead and with synchronization's help you'll know exactly where to get it." Kai was then covered in lightning and his hair suddenly stood up.

Kai attacked with lightning speed this time going for the dragon's center. The momentnhe made contact lightning would course all over the dragon shocking and burning it all over.

Ash followed behind him on the ground and took his scythe and stabbed it through the dragons tail drawing all the lightning that Kai had let shock the dragon strait to Ash's scythe and used his body as an amplifier. The moment the lightning hit the smoke around Ash it all burst into flames, all the smoke was truly sulfur, as he stuck out his arm and pointed up towards the dragons head but now the lightning wasn't its yellow that it was it was now a translucent white and was more concentrated and flew right behind Kai and went for the center of the dragons bottom jaw, where its brain was in line as well.

"Off with it's head."Kai said. He jumped leveling itself to it's neck and summoned a lightning scythe. Kai shifted towards the right. Synchronization would tell Ash to jump up to the right of Kai. Their scythes would mimic the shape of scissors. They would then dashed forward and snip of the head of the well cooked dragon.

Ash stayed right beside Kai as he got a scythe that crossed over mine, he looked at him and jumped with Kai and with one big slash simultaneously cut the dragons head off, and as it fell to the ground ash stood on it's head and looked over to Kai. "Well that was new for me, still bad ass though, now then, to the meat, I'm hungry." He shoved his hand into the body of the dragon from where the severed head was and pulled out the heart and took a big bite out of it. "A little over done for personal preference, but it will do." Holding the hear out to Kai and Ana. "Want a bite."

 

[Field Marshall]

"Yeah it was awesome." Kai said. He walked over to Ankasha's unconscious body. He held his hands 18 inches above her body, they glowed with yellow light as Kai probed her energy. He raised an eyebrow upon discovering Xavier's energy within her own centered around her hand. He may not see the mark but he could tell it was there. "She serves the Pyro, she's technically my enemy so I should just...." he whispered to himself. He sent his scythe back to his vault. One of his hands became cloaked in a lightning his stuck out his fingers like how one would for a karate chop. He raised his hand over Ankasha making it clear he was gonna kill her. He swung but stop just before hitting her as the winds carried the report made to Xavier. "To do this to her would mean that I'll have to do the same to half of the gods and angels. She's not my enemy the Pyro is. Defeat him and all of his forces will turn away from him." Then another thought popped into his head. "He didn't stop all operations meaning I can go after him now.


Kai walked away from Ankasha and said to Ash who was feasting on the dragon. "Ash my enemy is the Pyro who I can feel is currently in the forest. I ask you to help me crush him. What he's doing almost lead me to kill Ankasha just now. If he's beaten his forces will turn their backs on him. Ash will you help me stop what could turn into a war that could end up tearing the Earth apart."

Ash looked over to Kai with his cheeks stuffed full of dragon meat and swallowed what was in his moth before he spoke. "You mean the new guy that's full of himself?" He was curious as to why he was Kai's enemy but that didn't matter, Kai was his partner, if he needed help with something then, well, he needed help. "Yea, sure, give me a second." He reached in as far as he could into the dragon and pulled out the biggest slice of raw meat that he could and stuffed it into his pouch, even though the pouch didn't change size at all. "Alright, now lets go, can't go without having a snack." Even though he had already eaten half the dragon, he got up and wandered over to Kai and offered him a nicely cut cube of meat, this one was cooked. "Bite for the walk."

 

[Field Marshall]

"Well thank you." Kai said accepting the cube and eating it. "I'll explain while we walk there." They began walking to the burned forest. "Earlier just before you came to my room he sent me a message that basically showing he was challenging me, that was only strike one. I went down to the beach after you left to ask him about the message. That's when he revealed his intention of annhilating the humans in the name of protecting nature which was strike two. What he said is one way to protect nature but not one of the goo ways, that was strike 2. There's also a tournament coming up to determine who gets to deflect a deadly blast from the Elder Gods to wipe out Earth, I was originally planning to defeat him then at the tournament. But I told him to cease all operations or I'll come after him immediately. Just now over the winds i heard a report made to him detailing how his army has grown. He hasn't done what I ask, so I now I'm going to crush him. Once he's beaten his forces will abandon him. If I leave him unchecked he'll end up sparking a war and Earth will become a battleground, no matter who wins the Earth would be scarred o worse destroyed. Also he wants to absorb that blast from the gods if he does he'll become even more problematic."


By the time Kai was done with his explanation they had reached the burned forest. Kai stopped for a moment and asked "So what do you think of this?"

Listening to Kai talk for what felt like a long time Ash continued to eat some of the meat he brought with him. "So long story short he found a way to both get on your shit list and get even more powerful, enough so to start a war on earth." He looked around at the burnt part of the forest not sure what he was supposed to say to Kai he looked over to him and made a simple statement. "I personally don't mind if a good number of people get annihilated, but, I do have an issue with killing off everyone, their my food as well." After he said that the right half of his body starting to revert back to it's original black and red but he didn't notice as he turned towards Kai "So why don't we just, instead of deflecting it, shoot it off into a direction that will never come back to the earth again?"

 

[Field Marshall]

"I think it's somehow finds it's way back. Never looked into specifics of the blast, I think it's like a guided missle controlled by the Elder Gods." Kai replied recalling his knowledge of the blast. His senses told him they were closing in on him. Kai whispered "Let's approach him from above." Kai used the air to fly upward and above the trees. When he reached a point over the area were Xavier and his followers occupied he began to descend. He stopped still quite a ways in the air above Xavier. He said smirking "Seems someone doesn't know how to listen, now it may cost that arrogant fool his life." He then continued his descent and landed about 3 yards away from Xavier.

"Well we don't know until we try." He extended his wings and pushed off the ground with note able force making dust fly everywhere, once he was high enough in the sky he just glided behind Kai picking up the draft from him. He stayed behind Kai as they landed but when he did he went back to his white and blue colors, as he saw the pyro not to far off. "Wait a minuet, he looks familiar."

Xavier turned his gaze to the two that had interrupted his nap. "What do you two want now?" asked Xavier as he straightened himself up, still sitting leaned up against a now fully restored tree, stronger then it was previously.

 

[Field Marshall]

"You were told to cease all operations or i'll come after you. I'm not deaf I heard the report meaning you didn't cease operations, Simply the act of hearing that report violated the agreement. As such I'm gonna take you down right now." Kai explained. He emitted an aura of chi to surround himself showing he was not in the mood to beat around the bush.

Ash pulled his scythe off his back and set it over his shoulder as he began to produce his black smoke aura around him as he walked next to Kai and didn't say anything as he pulled the hair tie out of his hair and put it in his pocket and waited to see what Kai or the pyro was going to do next, while he waited he began to heat up his hands from claw to shoulder.

 

[Federoff]

"That's what this is about?" asked Xavier. "I'll make you a deal, win the tournament and nothing will happen, lose the tournament and humans will be diminished by about 65% of their population." The earth began to rumble, as if someone did not like this agreement. He pat the ground and started to talk to it "Don't worry mother, we will succeed, I promise you that your oceans will become cleaner, your forest will spread back to their normal population and the animals will return from their hiding places."
