Futuristic The Codes of Humanity

Shura paid for his food before heading toward the door. He'd gotten to eat and got some info. All in all, his trip to the town square had ended pretty well. Just when he was about to leave he spotted something - something that made this trip even more worth it. Walking across the small restaurant he stopped next to the blonde and held up his tombstone. "I believe we may have something in common," he deadpanned.

Before he gets to far he goes back to the wreckage. Maybe there's something i can use. He starts looting the dead for their money and valuables. By the end of his grave robbing he had two bags full of money and miscellaneous items. I think i can pass off as a hobo when i get to the city. I'm already filthy and i'm carrying my home in my bag. He starts off for the city once more. I'll get situated tomorrow. My life is finally my own. Now i must figure out how to ease my way into society.

Her eyes wandered up to the guy before her, watching as he lifted the tombstone. Although she was relieved to find she wasnt alone, she was also a bit concerned. Holding the beads to her chest still she managed a smile, "It would seem that we do" It would seem coming to the town squar wasnt such a bad idea after all but that still didnt give her a reason to wanna stay.

"Do you want to leave?" He asks her. He didn't mind being among people, but she seemed quite uncomfortable. Did she have a bad experience with them? He didn't see how that was possible, but hey, he didn't know enough about her to understand. "I know humans are - hard to deal with," he whispered.

A few moments later, Elle finds herself in the mist of a big crowd waiting to cross the road by her. Not only does she feel uncomfortable, but they were getting too close to her. Her heart starts to race as she looks around for an exit. Getting up, taking her orb with her before walking once more. The city was just too overpopulated. She couldn't withstand the pressure as she walks over to a park. Seeing no one in sight, she sits down to look at the stars in the moonlight sky, smiling lightly.

She gave a small nod before whispering a thank you, her eyes scanning the area for a better place to go. Its not that she hated humans, but she didnt like then either. She was a secluded person only leaving to deal with the shade and then back to being alone, thats how it had always been for her. Who was this person though, he seemed rather kind for being a code. She had met one before and he had been cruel to her. "Lead the way"

He finally made his way into the city, sticking to alley ways and big crowds. He finally finds a suitable unoccupied alley and sits down next to a dumpster. "If i'm like this people will pay me no mind." He looks scratches his head as he waits for midnight to begin his new start. "A shame everyone died." He lays down on his bags. "I'm not all that interested in killing shades."He lays there staring at the wall. "I just wanna lay in bed and forget the world."

Shura nods, going to the door and opening it for her. "Ladies first," he spoke. After she walked through the door he followed behind her. "There's a nice little pond near by," he says rather coldly, but with no hostility. "I saw it earlier. Not many people around there. Is that fine?" he asks.

"Thats fine" she noted the change in his tone, making sure to still be careful of him even if he was the same as her. People change she thought to herself as they made their way towards the pond, now that their home was gone they could do as they pleased.. including harm one another.

She looks around and smiles more knowing that park was vacant for the rest of the night. Elle holds out her orb in front of her, closing her eyes. I wish there was a place to train. It might pass the time. The orb sparks brightly before phasing into a sword. Laying in on her lap, inspecting any damages from the crash.

Shura walked with his fellow Code down the street. She was a quiet one, shy to be exact. She looked fragile, like she needed to be protected. He wondered how such a girl lived as a Code. speaking of which, he didn't even know what Code she was. He doubted she'd tell him, she had no reason to. They barely knew each other. Besides, he didn't like talking about his own Code. Forbidden Codes tended to frighten even other Codes and that would do him no good right now.

She noticed him size her up, She was going to be underestimated again not that she minded. "Did you fall in the city as well?" her voice was normal yet quiet, unless irritated she had a very gentle tone which didnt fit her at all knowing she killed shades for a living. Did he think she was weak?Did he plan on harming her?

Shura shook his head. "I landed outside the city. Came here when I heard sirens," he replied, cold as usual. He was bad at speaking with emotion and it was very rare he showed it, often getting him into trouble or having others misunderstand his intentions. "I was hoping to find other Codes..."

Everything seemed to be in check, the sword wasn't chipped or damage in any kind of way. Only one last test. Elle plucks a hair and glides the strand along with sharp blade. Half of it splits and flies in the small breeze passing by. A smirk comes across her face. A few seconds in the making, the sword forms back into an electric ball. Laying down on the soft grass. What happened this morning exactly? I would obviously recall a piece of home stabbing me in the leg. Reviewing over what she remembered and still nothing. Sighing into the brisk air, hoping to find answers soon.

She nodded, Stopping once they had reached the quiet pond. "Looking for them is fine, but its best to be careful not to run into the wrong ones.." Her code would stay secret, Being a forbidden code would only cause a problem and it wasnt what she needed. She wasnt the type to give an explanation anyways.

"The wrong ones?" he asked. He assumed she was referring to the Forbidden Codes. That being the case he resolved to stay quiet. The two of them finally reached the pond, and true to his words, it was relatively empty. Shura sat next to the water, took off his shoes, and dipped his feet in before rolling his neck and nursing his right shoulder. He'd been ignoring it since he woke up, but it hurt - a lot.

"Your hurt..." She hadnt realized it, which was odd since she was normal very perceptive. She sat beside him glancing towards her reflection in the water. they would need better clothes soon, some that werent so... shall we say destroyed if they were to blend in. "Do you need help?"

Lost in her thoughts, she turned and twisted from discomfort. The grass was lusciously soft and she had everything she needed. Immediately jumping up to unwrap her thigh. Blood seeping through the last layer, Elle examined the wound to see it's progress improving. The hole through her thigh is closing up, slowly but surely. An itching sensation overcomes the slight pain left within. Resisting to scratch, she lays back down to give the wound air to breathe.

Shura nodded. He wished he could find a Code who could heal. "I hurt my right shoulder when I crashed. It still hurts, but I don't think I can do much about it. We heal fast anyway, right? I'll just wait it out," he says, still rubbing his shoulder.

Hesitant for a moment, she let her good grace win the battle in her mind. There had to have been more than one code who could heal so she wouldnt be found out right? " Here, stay still" Demi moved behind him, never one looking at his face as she unravled her beads, resting them between his skin and her palms. They glowed a faint blue for a moment as she inhaled filling herself with the energy around her, it was thrilling.. the feeling of her body being filled, yet someone disappointing once it left her to heal his shoulder. Staying silent she continued the process, giving him her healing treatment.

Waking up, she realized she'd dozed off for a moment. Elle checked her surroundings as her mind ease to the same vacant park. Leaves flowing to the wind's commands. Silence. She hasn't had too much of it since she arrived. It was nice for a while despite her yearning to mingle, making it as an odd feeling to obtain with what she's known of the world. People interact all of the time. How is it that difficult to say one simple word. Sitting up whilst looking at the view in front of her. Trees swaying to their neighbor in a flowing dance. For now, she's comfortable, which is safe despite the scenario. She'll need to find shelter soon. Another breeze came by, her hair began flowing in the same direction.

Shura was surprised when she'd started healing him. He hadn't expected her to have the ability and now he felt very lucky. "Thank you," he said, "its starting to feel better already." Shura relaxed as she healed him, letting his mind wonder to finding shelter for the night. After that he figured he should probably look for some work or something. A normal life would be best for a cover - well as normal as it could be.

She nodded at his words of thanks, stoping once she finished with his shoulder. This was the first time she had healed another code, it was a little strange and took a bit of effort. "You should be fine now" Demi stood, once again gazing off into the mellow water, it was beautiful. Figuring it was getting late even for regular humans she figured it would probably be best for her to go back to the abandoned building she had been in earlier for the night, she would focus on a real place in the morning.

Standing up with both feet, one leaning towards the toe a bit after grabbing her orb. Sleeping in an alley would seem private enough, but it doesn't protect you from any of them attacking you. She kept thinking of different places to sleep at the time being. Elle thought back to the bridge where she arrived. She blacked out all that time, she was sure a night under there wouldn't be bad. Heading towards the bridge, thinking back to her site seeing. Money will run out soon. I'll need to figure something out. Approaching the bridge, still cluttered with debris as she lays down in a clear area. The rumbling of the vehicles above lulled her to sleep after a while.

"What now?" he asks. "It's getting late." He hoped to find some shelter, but there was a more pressing problem. Shade attacks became more frequent the later it got. In all honestly, he was surprised there hadn't been any today. It was lucky, in his opinion.
