Fantasy The Calm After War Forum (OOC)

Quick question. Do the wolves count as spirits of any kind? I want to know if he summoned or conjured a normal, living wolf, or some kind of spirit animal.

Uriko is indeed chasing after Ari's summoned wolves.
So you think that a single kick is gonna kill a fully grown, armored, otherworldly wolf period, let alone kill one with 4 other fully grown, magic infused, otherworldly wolves there to assist? When a seasoned paladin could barely take down one without some advanced deception tricks? No dice. The first and absolute last time that'll happen. I'll soak it up to a glitch in the system

I have zero idea who gave you permission to control my characters, but your character is about to get slaughtered, because attacks from these wolves don't activate Nature's Luck, since it's not natural elements.

On top of that, they have a connection with Ari himself, so good luck, because unless you run or someone intervenes, you're done for

You're absolutely right, and I completely agree with you. Ari would kill Uriko without even twitching a finger. Even if the boy were to berserk out. As he is now the best he could do is take on one wolf who has a physical body. Taking on more than one in a fight would actually leave him being mauled and his tiny limbs being torn asunder. If his hair were to get cut he wouldn't be able to take out even a normal wolf.

As far as Nature's Luck goes, well it doesn't work as directly as one might assume. If he got burnt, later in the day he would find an abundance of aloe to treat his wound. Let's say he were to get part of him frozen. Much like with the aloe he may come across a stone that's been sitting in direct sunlight all day that would help melt the ice. It's defensive but rather something that increases his survival.

I made a huge fumble there. I should have handled things a bit differently. Editing and rewriting shouldn't be a problem. Thank you for the correction, and I appreciate that care about the longevity of my characters life to warn me about my mistakes. If you would be so kind to allow me the privileged of editing I will make the appropriate changes.

All I did was write it off as the armored wolf being un-summoned and about to be summoned back at the manor right after being kicked, so no need to edit

Your character is about to fight the wolves though

(So the Adventurers are basically a fantasy-world version of The Avengers.)
As a group, yes
Individually, no

Ari alone will give the harpies an extreme run for their money. They fly, so they're weak to Wind, which Ari had an entire era using only Wind. Poison-tipped arrows, Ari had an entire era dedicated to Poison Magic so, while not immune like he was before, he is a potion and poison expert, so he has counters to the poison

It sounds more OP than it actually is simply because Harpies are just the absolute worst enemy to send against the group with Ari there. If he wasn't in the picture, then they'd have a big problem

The same goes for an enemy like a giant troll (Strong, physical, somewhat resistant to magic) and Tyr not being there. They're a unit and the strongest as a unit as they cover a lot of bases

The Avengers are pretty much unbeatable period, as group or individually

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how I can insert Valthomir into the story! If possible, could you or anyone else provide some recap for me? Let me know what's going on. If not, I'm happy to read through the last few pages!
No events noting or recapping except that the group is about to head to Faylen, the elven country, all on their different quests

Bailey, the High Prophetess is in negotiations with the Orcs to prevent war
Ari is about to look for a way to help Arabelle
Mithras and Alison (Ari's new bodyguard and long-time maid respectively) are looking for answers concerning a god-level conspiracy theory
Tyr is.............doing something

There's about to be a time skip soon (hopefully at some time today), so unless you want to get in a quick introduction and some quips, it'll be best to wait until after the time skip

No that was unintentional. It just so happens that they're going up against a group that includes Ari.
Only if they fight the group as a whole, which would be on their way to Faylen, because the group is actually gonna be pretty split up when they get there
