[Robin man]

Toby smiled softly and opened the can and took a sip. "Thank you. And really? What does he do?"

 

[KneelingAngel]

"My dad?" Marlie questioned. "Oh, um, he's a NASCAR driver." She said. "He, um, was in the accident from last week, that's why he's in the hospital." She said with a bit of a sad smile. She had watched her own father's car crash into another and flip, she really hoped he was okay. Her mother wouldn't allow her to see him yet.

Toby was taking a sip if his tea when she told him that. He breathed in the ice tea and started coughing. Her father a nascar driver? No way! He was able to catch his breathe. "That's awesome."

 

[KneelingAngel]

"Are you okay?" Marlie asked as Toby choked on his drink. Awesome? Well maybe it was. She didn't see anything special about it, but she could guess why others did. "Don't tell anyone?" She asked with a small smile

 

[Robin man]

Toby looked at her and he slowly nodded. "Okay, I can do that... Some how." Thats not a easy thing to hid.

 

[KneelingAngel]

"Just please don't, it's not a big deal." Marlie said and got the pizzas out. "It's not like anyone likes me for me, I don't want my dad's profession to make me friends."

 

[Robin man]

Toby nodded. "Alright. Your secret is safe with me." He smiled softly at the pizza. "Yes, pizza. Best stuff on earth."

 

[KneelingAngel]

"So... What do your parents do?" Marlie asked, trying to lessen the tension she felt in herself. She usually didn't like other visitors, but there was something about Toby she liked. He wasn't a total asshole for starters.
