Welcome to the land of Ylisse.
In a sense, this isn't much of an "A.U." it is more of a "After the fact" sort of deal. Either way, this is happening after the events of Awakening, for those who have played the game, you will know what I am talking about. I'm going off of the ending where "Robin" is still alive, though he/she disappears for some time, as stated in the intro.
"Robin" can be either male or female it is up to who whoever desides to be "Robin"
Anyways, so a bit about the world. This is taking place several years after the events that took place within Awakening. The kingdom is mostly at peace with each other with little issues from either sides of the border.
The Exalt --Chrom-- has taken up his duties as the Exalt, and as his place as head of the Shepards. Of course, he realizes that he cannot take care of both the kingdom and the Shepards and a child while still having time to do other things that are needed. So he had taken on a bad of younger people to try and fill the ranks of the Shepards to something that would be able to defend the people if the time ever arose.
These people are from all different background, from Plegian nobles, to thiefs who are trying to redeem themselves, to orphans who think that fighting is the only way to get over the loss of the people they love. While all these people are different, they are the same with the common cause that they have. To defend and protect that people of Ylisse from whatever is to come.
