Paige sighed with relief " well one things for sure..it makes sense..now.."she said sighing lightly"we did a prank on our children and their mad ... "she said shaking her head before sighing and leaning on sam seeing the kids getting out of the water . Avalanche looked at lane she gave a quiet sigh looking at him "so i got a doctors apoointment tommrow.."she said sighing lightly looking towards him she tipped her head"Rowan invited us to a grill out at their place...tommrow ...you want to go?"she asked.


Willow looked at him and sighed" okay we dont have to keep moving we can go back..but...we have to keep this house..in case i need to get away from the craziness"she said sighing lightly she gave a quiet sigh "..i dont like you leaving me alone anymore avery"she said frowning. Kip looked at shiro"i barely know you now i just remember...what i saw of you as a bat..so i dont know what to think of you you..if that makes any sense..."he said frowning he gave a quiet sigh"why do i hear ducks?"he asked.

Lena laughed hearing that. "Nothing wrong with that." She told Paige with a sigh. Muffin sniffed Luna's leg and wagged her tail as she sat down and looked up at her. Lena took notice and laughed. "Muffin likes you Aunt Luna. It's rare for Muffin to like any one." She told her. Muffin was a brownish black dragon with blue and white speckles all over her. Lane gave a nod and sighed. "Okay. We can go. I don't think Rowan's thing likes me very much though." He chuckled. He smiled as he hugged her.


Avery sighed as he held her close. "I'm happy right here.. I just wont move any farther from here." He told her as he placed with her hair. "What happen to you..?" He was worried about her and it showed with the way he cupped her face and looked into her eyes. Shiro sighed looking at him. "I don't know how to feel about you either. Maddie cares for you, so I will have to grow used to you for her. However, shadow is like a older brother to me. He took me in off the streets. Gave me food, clothing, and meaning. Until I met Maddie. She gave me more then just meaning. She gave me a reason to live and change. To want to be something more then what I had been."

Luna looked down at the dragon "oh yeah well shes ...pretty cool look"she asked sighing lightly she looked at muffin"hmm ..you like muffins?"she asked sighing lightly looking down at the dragon she looked at lena"how are your kids?"she asked . Avalanche smiled at lane and kissed him "thats what makes it so fun.,. and your right he dosent..he still sees the old you..im glad ive never heard anything about the old you"she said sighing happily.


Willow looked at avery and sighed lightly "someone just broke in here ..when you were gone one time .."she said frowning lightly she gave a quiet sigh " whoever it was had grabbed me...when i wasnt looking and locked me in the closet''she said frowning "thats were i got the scar on my wrist from.."she said frowning. Kip looked at shiro and sighed"ugh..dont tell me that about shadow i want to see him as the nasty monster i always have,.. so we just try and get used to each other right?"he asked sighing lightly looking at him.

Lena smiled at Luna and sighed. "I guess they are alright. Sage is still struggling with his powers and guilt. Vivi is slowly over coming things. Ivory has become such a strong person. Ebony is still crazy. Saber actually got a record deal. Nova is a dolf." She laughed at the last part. "How are you?" Muffin made a chirping noise at the mention of muffins. Lane gave a nod. "Yeah, but the old me was ignorant and young. I didn't know what I know now then." He sighed knowing that had been half the battle.


Avery frowned as he pulled her closer. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked her feeling guilty that he hadn't been able to protect her better. "I'll be here no matter what. Plus now we have two guest. You wont be alone." He promised her. Shiro sighed hearing that. "Yes and he's not the nasty monster though. He was just someone that was young and stupid. Like the rest of us. We all made mistakes and none of us can deny it."

Luna laughed slightly"hmm im alright i guess.. still missing my one kid..the rest are doing pretty good"she said smiling lightly before looking down at muffin"i got some muffins back at my house lots of them..."she said smiling gently she looked at lena and sighed lightly"cute dragon.."she said smiling"so they are chosing people now are they?"she asked sighing lightly. Avalanche looked at lane and smiled gently at him"hmm you want to cozy up on the couch when it gets night... ?"she asked sighing hearing some people walking towards them"pearl and her dad must be herE"she said sighing happily before looking at lane"you okay?"she asked looking towards him before smiling"would you like a back rub later?"she asked.


Willow frowned"i figuried it was already done and they wouldnt be coming back again so it didnt matter" she said frowning lightly "i was locked in the closet till you got back..."she said frowning lightly "and that was atleast a few hours"she said frowning lightly. Kip looked at shiro and sighed lightly"yeah i guess so.. "he said sighing lightly looking at him "young stupid and hot headed most of us were.. you were just a robot i guess though back then "he said sighing lightly.

Lena gave a nod and sighed. She wished she could help her Aunt find her one child.. but she wasn't the one with tracking powers. "Yes they seem to be. At least that's what it looks like." She sighed feeling proud of her dragons for growing so and yet sad that the time for them to leave her was coming. Muffin chirped at Luna as she reached up and licked her hand. Lane gave a nod. "That sounds like a good idea." Walking to the door he sighed and shook his head. "I am a little bit nervous about Jag and Blake both coming around so much." He admitted.


Avery frowned still not happy. "Whether that be the case or not.. you should have told me sooner." He said as he held her close. "It does matter." He told her before kissing her. Shiro gave a nod. "Yeah. If any one has a bone to pick with Shadow.. it's Samuel and Ama. He may not be 100% guilty of what happen with that, but had he not done things that he had then maybe somethings would have gone differently." He sighed knowing about Simon and how Ama had been left a single mother. How she had lost her children and then even her life. None of them had been the wiser too it. No one had even cared about what was going on with their old friends and family. They all had fallen a part at some point. He wasn't even sure any one had told Maddie about Simon yet.

Luna sighed lightly"bittersweet seeing the babies grow up isnt it..?"she asked sighing"i saw the one aleus been running around with for days now she acts like its one of her own kids"she said sighing lightly shaking her head some. Luna smiled before reaching in her pocket and giving a muffin to the dragon"this is a black beryr muffin my faveriotre"she said happily. Avalanche looked at him and sighed "hun if i can live with you surely you can put up with it.. when they come around..you realize...im not saying its hard to live you becuase thats far from it..its just that..."she sighed lightly"Bren !"she called. Pearl sighed scuffing her feet around slightly*i hope its okay we should up here... *she thought sighing lightly she looked up towards her dad and sighed lightly"..can we go see the penguins sometime?"she asked sighing looking up at blake.


Willow nodded lightly "why?"she asked looking at him before sighing lightly"did you think i just locked myself in the closet that day?"she asked sighing lightly looking at him "it does?"she asked sighing lightly looking at him. Kip looked at shiro and sighed lightly"true that..but im still mad at shadow.. i wasnt the only one he killed that day"he muttered lightly he gave a quiet sigh"so whats with all these animals running around here?"he asked sighing lightly looking at him awkwardly he gave a quiet sigh"my sister still draw?"he asked sighing lightly.

Lena gave a slight nod. "It is. Things happen so fast and when those moments are gone.. they are gone. You can't get them back." She wished now that she had had more time to cherish things. Muffin pulled the muffin into her mouth with her tongue before devouring it. Wagging her tail she sniffed Luna looking for more. Lane gave a nod. "I know what you mean.. but my problem isn't that. I'm worried about more then just one thing. I'm worried about the danger it brings. I'm worried about losing you. But the thing that scares me the most is that I'm afraid of becoming that again. I doubt it will happen, but it haunts me.. the person I had been." He admitted to her hoping she understood. Bren grinned as he ran to open the door. "Pearl!" He said as he hugged her and pulled her in. "It's fine. It's not you my dad has a problem with. I think he has a problem with himself." He told her. Blake smiled at Pearl. "We can go after dinner. Bren can come too."


Avery sighed looking at her. "I don't know. I barely remember that day. I remember coming home to you in the closet. You would say anything to me.. and it frightened me." He explained as he pulled her onto his lap. Shiro gave a nod and sighed. "I like animals and well Maddie does too. She does still draw." He told Kip as he motioned for him to come in.

Luna nodded and sighed lightly"i know what you mean"she said frowning lightly she gave a sigh beore smiling and looking at muffin"i have no more right now..they are all in the lake"she said sighing lightly"to bad we just cant run ovetr the evil people with a dragon stampede...:"she said sighing lightly. Avalanche looked at him and twitched her nose she was trying really hard not to burst out laughing "i get what your saying...but ..im to stubborn to ever.. err.. die dissaper...trust me plentyy people have tried to make me dissaper or have tried to kill me "She said laughing she gave a quiet sigh"Well i dont think you will turn into that.. again.. "she said sighing before eyeing blake she shook her head lightly before looking at lane"you going to tell them to come in .. or you going to leave them out there"she asked sighing. Pearl nodded lightly before sighing some"id like that alot"she said looking at blake before smiling at bren and hugging him "ive missed you so much.... how did your day go?"she asked smiling happily.


Willow sighed lightly looking at him before smiling"i love it ..when you do that... be all caring stuff like you are now ya know?"she asked happily"makes me feel safe.. thats all i really want to feel"she said sighing lightly. Kip nodded lightly he gave a nod before looking around when he walked in he grinned slightly " hmm is that a drawing of hers?"he asked looking at the dog pictures he gave a happy sigh smelling the food "hmm smells good"he said happily

Lena laughed seeing Muffin's disappointed look. "That would be a funny sight. However I don't have quite that many dragons yet." She smiled knowing that she might have that many soon though. Lane gave a nod as he invited Blake and Pearl in. "I hope you are as stubborn as you say." He told her as he leaned over and kissed her cheek. "I couldn't stand losing you." Bren wore his goofy grin as she hugged him. "It was good, but it got a lot better when you hugged me." He told her her.


Avery chuckled hearing what she said. "Maybe I'll just have to be so caring it drives you crazy." He told her as he leaned her back and kissed her. He loved being like this with her, mostly because he loved her smile. It lit up his world. Shiro gave a nod and smiled. "It is. You are welcome to stay for dinner. Maddie and I were almost done cooking."

Luna nodded and smiled she gave a quiet laugh"yeah it would be "she said happily she looked at muffin " dont give me such a look take it up with my parents..all the muffins are in the lake cuase of them"she said sighing. Avalanche looked at lane and stuck her tounge out " now your just being to nice again see there..."she said laughing she sighed lightly though looking at blake and lane"ill go get the food..."she said sighing lightly before getting the food for everyone.Pearl nodded happily at bren "im glad it got bette rbecuase of my hug..i love hugging you"she said happily she gave a quiet sigh"were going to see the penguins after dinner"she said excitedly"i havent seen the penguins in such a long time"she said.


Willow looked at him"awe you that caring ..i doubt it"she smiled lightly she gave a quiet sigh"do you know when ivory will be back?"she asked sighing lightly slightly concerened"why did you leave her ..alone by herself...?"she asked crossing her arms. Kip nodded lightly"i think i will on that offer...nice furniture .. know a hotel i can stay at ?"he asked sighing lightly he shuddered at the words hotel though *ugh last hotel i remeber was the bats..*he thought.

Lena smiled seeing how muffin was staring Paige and Sam down. "I think she might bite one of them at this rate." She laughed before sighing. "So you guys are going on vacation. I think that's great." She smiled knowing they needed it. Lane sighed but laughed. "I see no winning with you." He told her with a shake of his head. Bren gave a nod and grinned. "Sounds like fun. I'm really happy you are here. Your dad doesn't seem so bad either."


Avery smirked at her. "You wanna make a bet on that?" He asked her as he kissed her neck. "I left her because she wasn't alone. She had her boy friend, Grim with her and I thought they could do with some alone time. They will both be back shortly." He assured her. Shiro gave a nod and set the table. "Actually there is the family hall. Ana had it build. It's like our own party hall and inn. You can stay there if you like or you can stay with us until you find a place."

Luna smiled"they were just trying to have a bit of fun dont be to hard on them"she said sighing lightly looking at lena "and yeah we are...soon at this rate..we wont leave though"she said laughing she gave a quiet sigh looking around she smiled before reaching her hand down to muffin. Avalanche nodded before smiling "Hello blake"she said sighing lightly * no need to be rude i guess..*she thought sighing , Pearl smiled"yeah dad hes the best..."she said smiling happily "my mom always loved penguins..which makes me loves the penguins even more"she said haappily.


Willow looked at him"whats the stakes?"She asked looking at him"im pretty sure i could ... win this one"she said before eyeing him"dont do that..you know what that does to me"she said sighing lightly before smiling at him . Kip nodded lightly"ill look into that..."he said sighing lightly looking at him he gave a sigh when he sat down at the table "so if ..me and shadow are half brothers..then that would mean we have the same farther" he said sighing at the thought " thats a creepy thought "he mumured lightly.

Lena smiled watching her family. "I'm sure you'll leave, just might be a little late." She knew Paige wouldn't stand for them not leaving. "Why don't you take Muffin. She's rather fond of you and I'm sure you are fond of her as well." She just wanted every one to be happy. Blake gave a respectful nod to Avalanche. "Hello Avalanche." He had seen her a few times before she had met Lane and she looked much happier now then she had then. Bren gave a nod and smiled. "That's cool. You have something in common with your mom."


Avery smirked at her as he thought of the stakes. "If you lose then you have to paint yourself purple and egg Shadow's house with me." He told her wanting to do something fun and thrilling for a change. Shiro gave a nod. "Yes, and your father.. well he's awful. He's not showed up here yet and Shadow hopes he never does." He told him. "There is a girl named Molly whom will gladly help you out with anything you need. She's one of the family friends." He told him.

Pearl nodded lightly"i think she would have really liked you..."She said smiling at him she gave a quiet sigh"it feels like shes always around when your near me "she said sighing happily "it sounds silly i know"she said hugging bren again.

Avery chuckled as he held her close. "He should be coming over tomorrow." He told her as he picked her up and carried her to their room. "How about a warm bubble bath?" He offered. Luna smiled at muffin "ah i see well thats cool but what about muffins power ?"she asked smiling lightly looking at her " muffin really cute ..what type of dragon is she?"she asked smiling at muffin she gave a quiet happy sigh .Mason looked at blake and sighed"no some days its worse then others..."he said grumbling lightly he gave a sigh looking at pearl and bren he wrinkled his nose in disgust he looked towards blake"just depends on who shes dealing with"he mumbled lightly he sighed and frowned as he felt his wolf ears itched *i want to scratch them but i cant *he thought, Pearl smiled happily as she saw the food"it all looks so good..alot better then the frozen microwave meals..."she said giggling she gave a happy sigh looking at bren "hmm when we grow up promise me ...that you will still be with me then"she said sighing lightly.

Lena smiled as she answered her. "She's a star dragon. She hatched at night and she has the star pattern on her." She told Luna. "Plus the speckles on her glow at night and she has the ability to absorb star light or moon light to convert it to her own like or energy." She knew it wasn't the best power but it was cool. Blake raised a curious eyebrow at Avalanche. "What a personality you have." He chuckled finding it all kind of amusing. Bren smiled at her, "I promise we will." He assured her. He wasn't sure what love was yet, but he hoped this was it.


Avery thought about it for a moment and chuckled. "Then you must dress up as a maid and do it." He told her hoping she would just cave to one of them. He smiled as he laid her on the bed and went to run her water. Molly smiled at Kip. "Hello to you as well Kip." She told him as she laid the supplies down and watched them. So I just started to call her that." She smiled feeling kind of silly for it in truth. Blake took the drink and sighed. he kind of felt bad for Lane, having to live with that strong attitude. Bren sighed getting Pearl her food. He wanted to tell Mason to behave but it wasn't his place.


Avery came back and scooped her up into his arms. "Oh we will see." He grinned as he carried her into the bathroom. He had lit some scented candles. Pulled out the fluffiest towel they had. And the bath pillow too. smiling he put her down and kissed her. Molly thought for a moment and sighed. "Maybe. That's if Maddie doesn't mind."

Luna smiled "haha thats so cute"she said smiling at lena "wish i could have heard that"she said smiling happily she gave a quiet sigh looking at Muffin "hmm.. do you think she will be able to fly or can all dragons do that?"she asked sighing lightly, Avalanche sighed"mason stop..."she said frowning lightly before sighing and looking at bren with an apologizing look *i want to be nice..to them..but i cant do it *she thought frowning lightly, Pearl looked at bren and sighed"its alright bren.. and thank you..so..whats your faveriotre food.. oh i got something for you"she said happily before handing him his present *i hope he likes it..*she thought happily.


Willow looked at him and stuck her tounge out "go on.. hey do you want to take ivory and grim out to eat tommrow?"she asked smiling she gave a quiet sigh"or no?"she asked curioursly " im sure itd be fun..or do you want to do alot of training with them?"she asked tipping her head. He told her. He wouldn't even look at Avalanche or Mason right now. They had upset him with their childish behavior.


Avery smiled at her and sighed. "We can do that. I can't train Grim until he gains weight any how." He grumbled remembering how skinny the boy was. "Plus Ivory should be half way done with her first task by then." Molly sat down and smiled. "Kind of. It's the least I can do for them being so kind to me. I'm a hunter and when I came here.. well I was sure that this whole family was evil." She explained. "I even attacked a few people. After getting my butt beat, well they gave me a chance and I started to realize how backwards my people are." She explained with a smile.

Avery gave a nod. "Yeah, Hazel and Night Fang adopted him and his brother from the orphanage. They were starving them there." He told her as he sat down on the toilet seat. "He does have a bratty attitude. Molly sighed watching Kip. "There are different types of people Kip. Gypsies turn into wolves, Hunters hunt wolves, dragons, and big cats. It's really hard to explain, but once you get out around here."
