" the figure is already dead idiot, no point in breaking his knees. Now if you want to live follow me or stay here and die."

( *facepalm* )

Even of it's dead, it should still actually need it's bone structure to move!" He takes another slash

"the darkness realesses control when the host dies. No need to mutilate the poor man, I'm not saying it again, follow me or stay here and die."

"I just wanna try one more thing first" a dark aura seemed to possess him, no longer showing any remorse or even humanity, he'd given up on the sword, tackling it to the ground and slamming his fist into it's skull, snarling as he repeated the action over and over again.

Leah's dull eyes traced Alan in the dim light from his feet to his head. She turned her head to look around, the cool wind touched her face until she glanced back to the boys. Following a stranger in what seemed like the end of the world to her? It seemed insane, but what choice did she have. Until now, Leah hadn't seen another person since her brother. It was refreshing; and this guy seemed to know what he was doing. Taking one last drag of her cigarette, she tossed it on the ground and leaned her crowbar against her shoulder. " What way?".

As Dom took a second slash to the dead, Leah took a few steps closer to the other man. The needless mutilation didn't gross her out as much as the man behind it was making her feel so uneasy. "Seriously, " She paused and looked at him, " the longer you stick around killin' the dead, the more of these things are gonna catch up with you. ". Her eyes flashed back to the one offering what seemed like escape, giving him a concerned look about this other guy as he snarled. Her head shook and her grip on the crowbar tightened.

"finally some one with the right sense. We're going to my shelter down the road. Keep up or the darkness will envelope around you and you turn into one of them." Alan continued walking without caring who followes him or stays behind.

Dom continued to throw caution to the wind, howling to himself as he doubled the power of his strikes, his flurry of punches now no more than a contorted blur, bone cracked, the creature wasn't dead by a long shot, the host was yet to expire. It was certainly slower and damaged, "okay, I'm done" he sat up and walked up to the new girl. "Heyo" he seemed normal and joyous once more.

Alan walked to the front entrance of his house and walked inside. He turned in the generator and the engine churned on a few seconds later. The lighrs came on and made a barrier of light around the house. "if you want to come in go right ahead and make your self comfortable."

Leah sighed and followed behind, ready to swing at whatever came too close. As the breeze hit her, an overwhelming sense of gloom slipped under her skin. Here she was following a complete stranger to his "shelter" while darkness consumed all around and some guy attempted to create pulp out of what was already dead behind them. Was she ever going to find her brother? As said man approached her, her wrists jolt forward and lock as she realized she had nearly attempted to swing. Conflict wasn't what she needed right now.

As the light filled her eyes, she felt a little safer, and slipped inside. She hadn't been in anything this close to a home for a few days, but it felt like a decade.

"I'm still not flowing a creepy middle-aged man with a handgun into a shelter... Giiiiirl, what's wring with you following him in there"

"Id rather take on a horde of zombies or whatever these dam things are than get in an enclosed space with a random guy I met on the streets who wants me to follow him to his house..."

Alan sighed when the stranger said that and he saw more dark figures coming with chain saws and axes. "Stay out here then and become good friends with them." Alan shut the door and put the locks in place. "have fun out there."

Leah stood inside, looking around for a sign of alcohol anywhere; nothing. "You live here before all this went down or is this someone who..." Her words faded quickly. Would it be correct for her to say "died"? They were up and about still, corpses didn't do that. " Consumed? Infected? What's even happening out here? ".

A glare struck out to the man being difficult outside. A sigh of relief passed over as the home owner closed the door. "You think he's half way to becoming one of... them?".

"Thank you!" It only took a few seconds for Malice to kick in, being surrounded tended to flip a guys 'danger warning' pretty fast, he was on his feet and dancing through swinging metal blades, shining in the weak light as he went feral and manic.

" good luck taking on people that won't die or be affected by anything except light." Alan returned to his small desk and continued typing on his type writer. "When I came here, the people were like this. I don't know what happened but I have a good idea."

Leah walked over and leaned against the edge of the desk and looked down at the type writer. What an odd thing to have right now. "And what's that?".

"Holy shit I regret my decisions!!!" He said this, but he was laughing his head off, he'd just took a chainsaw off of one of the figures, decapitating it, it'd kept moving "hehehehehahahaha!!!!!!!" He was now utterly and completely insane, he'd left his katana embedded into one of the creatures skulls off somewhere "Mother Malice is here to f**k s**t up!!!!"

"this is my latest story I'm working on right now. I'm a writer if you couldn't tell by now." Alan took out the oage and began typing new one.

Leah furrowed her brows. Oh no. A writer. Inwardly screaming out of shame for her lack of ability to read, she looked away from the type writer and back to the man. "I was asking about what you thought was going on out there? You said you had an idea of it. ". She slipped her hand onto the desk between the writer and the machine as to split his attention away from it and onto her stare directed to him dead in the eye. " I need to know. I have someone I have to find and I need to know what I'm up against. "

Alan turned his attention back to Leah "I believe the characters from my latest horror book have come to life and are haunting me." A few tears started ti build in his eyes. "I lost someone to these bastards to. I lost my poor abigale. I miss her so much" Alan tried to hild the tears back but came to no avail.

Dom was laughing his head off, obviously as if he was having a great time, his clothes swathed in blood, some of it his own. The chainsaw he was using had stalled, he tossed it away, turning to the closest figure to him, charging it and biting a massive chunk out of its neck as it fell to the ground. He kicked the fallen creature before pulling his Katana out of a figures skull. One of them barrelled towards him, much larger and muscular than the rest. Certainly stronger "we've got a big f**ker over here don't we?" He charged it, it was a few seconds before a large thumping sound resonated through Alan's shelter, Dom had been tossed and smashed against the door, he coughed a bit of blood... Damn... His fever hadn't gone yet... He couldn't last much longer..."

Raising her eye brows, and pulling her arm back away from him and into her lap, Leah pursed her lips and sighed. Great, another lunatic. There was no way this was happening like that. He didn't seem too far gone to ditch right away yet. "Are you sure--", She noticed the tears and shook her head slowly, " Crying ain't goin' to get her back. ". The woman looked down at his tear soaked cheeks, fighting back her own emotions. She missed Lucas.

As the thud shook the door, Leah jumped, standing to her feet and grabbing her crowbar. " Hey! ", she snapped through the door, clearing the lump out of her throat from the previous conversation, " You done out there?". Leah paused and snickered, " Y'dead yet? ".
