Mmm, I don't see why you would die. This fight is based on the dice so since you blocked the damage for the most part it is your job to come up with a fitting response to your roll(s). You wouldn't die in this instance, rather you would take 5 damage. You would then determine based on Sachi's post what type of strike would seem to deal 5 damage. For example, 1-3 damage would be like a minor cut or something like that. Anything 10+ would be critical. Does that make sense at all?Lockett said:

If it takes a lot of your life, a vital organ. If I take little of your life, then you managed to defend and I scraped you.
The roll decides what I hit.

I'd say you got a decent gash somewhere. It doesn't have to be a vital organ. Its whatever you want. Having 9 HP is pretty low, so your guy should be pretty beaten up..
