Fantasy ☯-⊕The Age of Kemonomimi⊕-☯

I think @Karcen meant the Forbidden Ruins, which is (correct me if I'm wrong) the ruins of a human city.

Oh, damn. I thought maybe at most you would be just a little ways off, but no you're a bit over half the continent lmao. But yes, it is the ruins of a city and also where the Sapient Brotherhood is located.

May I just confirm where in the kingdom the Guild is? out of curiosity.

Also, @Zareh I have a feeling we may be intercepted by some guardians.

Well I'm assuming that they are in with the guild and were educated quite well due to their status.
@Verdas
Hmm... I still don't think that the Kemonomimi know that much about humans. Only bits and piece from what they've recovered from the human ruins.

@Verdas
Probably due to human artifacts and research of the past, that's how they figured it out...also no humans today...

How exactly would either of the guilds gain that knowledge though? All they have to base what humanity is is off of whatever wasn't completely destroyed, thus the continual hunt for artifacts and the studying of ruins. Just the fact that they aren't anywhere to be found and all the buildings are in ruin doesn't necessarily grant the information that humans had nearly destroyed the world, just that something had happened to cause them to 'vanish' and their structures in ruin. On top of that, by the way it was described where most Kemonomimi do not, in fact, believe that humans were real and are simply a myth could suggest that nothing with any real evidential value was found to support that what they were were humans, let alone anything pointing to their downfall, or possibly something else if we're looking at it from what their knowledge is, besides the fact that something must've occurred. That point is very evident in the fact that the Sapient Brotherhood believes humans to be immortal, while the Arkhaios Guild can be presumed to not be following that ideology, though it isn't exactly mentioned what they believed had happened to the humans. If there was something strong to support one side or the other there would presumably be a lot more support from the public.

This is just my take on it, anyway. It's really up to @Zareh, though.

You made a lot of good points there! It's very simple actually....let me explain.

You're right that Kemonomimi believe that Humans are myths because not one was even found not even a skeleton which is kind of odd. Some Kemnomimi groups like the Brotherhood and the Arkhaios guild believe that humans exist because of the evidence which are ruins and unusual structures left behind. The Sapient brotherhood found that the technology that humans possessed far exceed the powers of Aura by centuries (which is what led to the formation of the secret society so the brotherhood kept the technological secrets from the public for themselves so that they can study it and use it to their advantage. ) while the Arkhaios guild only got the tiny slice of the cake which are simple broken down parts, human literature and machines. So again Kemonomimi do not understand technology therefore believing humans to be just some sort of fairy tale myth.

-Any Questions?

This would still mean that they wouldn't know how the humans had led themselves to the extinction of their own species and near destruction of the world though, correct?

Correct, like the Dinosaurs, Humans don't know what caused them to go extinct so they make up theories. The Kemonomimi are a similar case though some assume that humans went extinct since there are none found at all. Still it's just a myth because no skeletons have been found.

O.K., thanks. That's all I was wondering, or I guess it would actually be we including the other people that were talking about it.

Yo @Pretzel Heart WELCOME TO THE GOD DAMN CULT.

I was gonna say, man I wish we had a man on the inside of the Guild.

Now we need a guy in the Guardians...to get close to those royals.

Then when they least expect it...

Get stab happy!
