Though Chris gets along with most people, that doesn't stop him from disliking them. He doesn't show it often, but he often judges people within a split second of meeting them. This more than likely is just about how much fun they will be and if he should involve them in his shenanigans, but occasionally includes something deeper. Speaking of his shenanigans, Chris loves to stray from the path others set out for him. Whether this is because of a dislike of authority or a desire for something more in life, even he doesn't know.

Chris knows his behavior isn't healthy. That's the entire point. After everything he has done, he worries that his happiness is fleeting and he doesn't deserve it. Therefore, he uses temporary sources to bring him some sort of joy, even if it only lasts a minute. I wouldn't say he is addicted to drinking, but Chris definitely uses drugs, sex, or other similar substances to bring peace to his life. He gets addicted to things whenever they do bring him that happiness. So, for example if he began to find joy out of video games, he would play them for days straight until he got bored of it.

Despite his flaws, Chris adapts easily to any situation with a smile. This unique ability is partially due to a general chill nature, and partially due to his reliance on alcohol as his only coping mechanism. He is, in fact the person to find the humor in any and all situations. He's always been the one to lighten the mood and be the class clown. He is also the type of guy who knows everybody. He's easy to get along with and makes friends easily. However, his issue comes when attempting to deepen these friendships past the surface level.

Though Chris is able to find joy in the mundane, he does get easily bored and loves exploring. Granted, this mostly translates to climbing a tree nearby his home, as he can't travel as far as he wishes to.

the beginning
Christopher was born a typical child in the year 1950 to your "perfect" American family. He was the middle child of three, with his mother as a homemaker and his father as a government figure. His parents didn't get along well though, but divorce was still taboo in their area, so they stayed together "for the sake of the family". As the middle child, he was often forgotten and he began to resent his family.

By the time he was sixteen, the sixties were in full swing. Music festivals had begun to grow popular, as did the substances that went along with them. This is when Chris's drug habits began and they would not end until his death.

At the age of nineteen, he decided to go to Woodstock, like many his age and economic class. However, this is where everything went wrong. During a party in a tent nearby the festival, Chris's best friend passed out. He began to foam from the mouth. Chris did nothing. He was too afraid of getting caught with his illegal drugs, so he didn't call for help. As far as many are concerned, Chris caused his best friend's death. He just couldn't deal with that and began to spiral.

Isadora truly doesn't stand out much, despite her previous fame. She is rather chill and tends not to show or feel emotions that are too intense. When she does feel emotions, she tends to cope with humor. She tends to joke quite a bit in general as well.

Her calm demeanor can occasionally make people feel invalidated, as she always tries to make it seem as if everything is fine when it isn't. Despite that, she is quite pessimistic. She always believes the worst thing possible is going to happen, which also results in her not trusting easily. While she is fairly friendly, she rarely interacts with people on a level deeper than the surface.

She is extremely adventurous and reckless, so it's quite surprising this isn't what resulted in her death. This has only increased since her death, as she now has nothing to lose. While she sees this as a positive trait, many others do not and tend to worry for her.

the beginning
Isadora and her twin sister Anastasia were born to a young couple in South Africa, but given up for adoption about a month after their birth. It was at that point they were adopted by the Thorne's, a celebrity couple who were volunteering at a local school at the time. Their names were changed to what we know them as now, and they were whisked away to California to live the dream.

middle of their story
The twins were trained for acting since being adopted, having their appearances and personalities perfected by the time they were three. Isadora was the girly one, while her sister Ana was the tomboy. Of course, their true personalities were exactly the opposite, but no one seemed to mind. Growing up, the twins were cast in many shows, including the beloved family drama Packed House, along with many others.

As they aged, Ana began to branch out and try to escape their family friendly image, while Isadora wasn't as bothered by it. Sure, she had a foul mouth outside of filming, but she found no problem in becoming a different person to keep the piece.

Despite this, the two continued filming until their mid twenties, at which point the "incident" happened.

During the last Disney Summer Fest of 2011, Ana and Isadora were performing their hit single, Party Time, when shots ran through the crowd. Security attempted to escort the girls off stage, but Isadora refused, telling them to help the children get out first.

Making eye contact with the shooter, Isa immediately identified them as her birth mother, who had been obsessing over the twins for quite some time. Despite having a closed adoption and abandoning the girls when they were quite young, she'd found them. Hearing of her birth daughters' success, she wanted in. And when they refused to send her money, she got aggressive. Showing up at their home, sending them letters, but this was definitely the furthest it had gotten.

Isadora doesn't recall much of this, but she remembers calling the soon to be murderer a bitch, before a pain began spreading through her chest. She collapsed on the stage and died in her identical twin sister's arms.

Of course, the Thorne family covered up her murder, but that's all Isadora has learned of the events after her death. She was told that the police told the public her death was a result of a "disgruntled parent" which is technically true.

Of course, Isadora has been through the afterlife process before. The first time, right after her death, she actually had a soulmate. She loved him with all she had, but he left her for another and moved on with his new partner. Due to the emotional turmoil which resulted from this, she was unable to move on.

Mari has always had her head in the clouds. She's a dreamer and imaginative. She is constantly coming up with new ideas, concepts, or art pieces. She's rather sentimental as well, seeing as how she just wants everyone in the world to be happy. She loves hard and cries easy. She's generally good with others and she's always gotten energy from being around them. She loves making friends and just, being around people in general.

Due to her optimism, Mari is very willing to sacrifice herself. She hopes that everyone else has more potential and is better than her, so it's a no brainer that her life is worth less than anyone else's. Despite this, it's surprisingly not how she passed away. Despite her love for people, she also loves a good gossip sesh, can be really catty, and just generally has quite a bit to say about anyone that has done her wrong. In short, she trusts easily and her trust is difficult to break. But when you do, it doesn't end well.

As she is very energetic, she needs new things all the time in order to keep her mind occupied. so, she's always doing something. Whether that is picking up a new hobby or a new boyfriend depends on the day. Also due to her energy, she can be quite forgetful. She moves from one thing to another so quickly that it is difficult for her to finish a task.

Being born an accident to an upperclass family, Mariam got used to being alone at a young age. Her parents were never around, so she taught herself everything. How to read, write, etc. This caused her to develop a larger imagination than most children, which has continued into her teen years. Even now, she prefers escaping into a book or tv show, rather than dealing with real life.

As she aged, this has only gotten worse, since her parents had another child in her highschool years. At seventeen she moved in with her grandparents and didn't really speak to her parents or little brother after that.

Mariam graduated at the top of her class, but rarely used her intellect after highschool. She chose to begin working as a makeup artist and spent most of her time doing that.

One thing Skai has always hated more than anything is predictability. Growing up, Skai flourished in an atmosphere with limited to no structure. When she was little her mother would call her "the wild card" whenever she was introducing Skai to her friends and potential lovers. Keeping everyone on their toes excited Skai to no end. In her group of friends, Skai was always the one willing to take on the craziest dares, ready to risk it all just to feel the adrenaline rush after doing something no one else would dream of doing. Her impulses kept her from being afraid of any consequences that would have flown her way. She loved knowing that no one else could predict her next move. While being unpredictable drew people to her, it also kept people from staying within her orbit for too long. Skai was never one for making close friends or having close romantic relationships. When someone wanted to dig deeper into her mind, she would either instigate a chaotic fight to cause them to leave or she would create an elaborate lie that could get her out of the friendship or relationship as soon as possible.

Skai would never admit this to anyone, but her life was lonely. She would often find herself lashing out at herself when she would find herself alone on a week night after chasing all of her friends away. Why did opening up to someone feel like suffocating in their hands? Why couldn't she be normal? When these thoughts would race through her head, she would drink until they went away and she could fall asleep in peace. Skai had hoped that she could grow out of it, but no matter how much she tried to make a friendship or a relationship work, she would feel tense and anxious that her issues would ultimately scare them away anyways. So instead, she would find another club, a new crowd of acquaintances to impress, and she would put on the show again with no end in sight.

While making honest connections with others does not come natural to Skai, she does try her best to be as outgoing and kind as possible to new people she meets. She enjoys learning new things about people, listening to them when they need someone they can vent to, and making them laugh if they've had a bad day. Now that she has passed, she is finally wondering if keeping herself so guarded was actually worth it. Only time will tell.

Skai Hendrix learned from a young age that being comfortable could never hold the same excitement as being kept on her toes. Her mother, Danielle Hendrix, had been Creekwood's beauty queen since her high school days. Whenever they went out, eyes would follow her mother and unfortunately, they would follow Skai as well. What Skai didn't know at the time was that Danielle had her when she was sixteen while dating her high school sweetheart. He had run off after learning she was pregnant and Danielle began the journey of single motherhood. And according to the inhabitants of Creekwood, Alabama, population of 452? It wasn't a good look.

Danielle was never one to let her reputation keep her from doing whatever she wanted. She would stride everywhere confidently, heels clacking across the floor with Skai holding her hand in tow. Aside from the snide remarks from the women surrounding Creekwood, Skai saw that her mother had something that drew strangers to her. With a flick of her hair and a flash of her smile, Skai saw her mom get everything she wanted. Whether it was free slurpees from the local 7-Eleven, phone numbers from attractive strangers, or free dinners when they went out to eat, her mother just attracted kindness from almost everyone that interacted with her. Skai recognized this power that she had and she strived to replicate it as she grew up.

teenage years

Being the young mother that she was, Danielle never missed out on a night of fun. This resulted in Skai being brought to rock concerts, tattoo shops, and more often than not, sleeping in houses that weren't hers. Consistency was not in her mother's vocabulary, but for Danielle and Skai, their life worked. Skai enjoyed going to new places, meeting her mom's new friends, and quite frankly, doing whatever she wanted. Sure, her grades weren't stellar and she really didn't learn manners, but what she did learn was how to get the world to bend to her every whim. She knew she could get deadlines extended at school by playing the sad and damaged role that her teachers labeled with her due to her family's history. It wasn't her fault that they assumed that she was helpless, right? In Skai's head, she was just playing to the expectation that they already had of her. It wasn't her fault that they fell for the own story they made up in their heads.

During her senior year of high school, Skai knew that her chances to go to college were slim to none. Instead of worrying about her future, she picked up shifts at the local tattoo shop her mother would frequent. She knew the artists there fairly well and loved the atmosphere of the shop. She worked at the front desk, taking appointments and talking to clients. When she turned eighteen, her boss had asked her to join their poker night they had each Thursday. Never one to pass up a fun opportunity, Skai took her boss up on his offer.

Her first night playing gave Skai a rush she couldn't explain. She had bet her entire paycheck from that pay period during the last round and watched intently as each person drew their hand. Throughout the night she had studied each person at the table with silent intensity. She had quickly learned their tells and she realized she had a hell of a poker face. She kept to herself the entire night, asking innocent questions to seem confused and sweet, and by the end of the night she had won over a thousand dollars. The men at the table were in awe of her when she pulled her earnings off of the table. Skai passed it off to beginners luck, but continued to play week after week. Soon enough, she was winning at least three games each week. She couldn't get enough of the high that winning gave her and she continued playing with her coworkers and her friends until she had enough money saved to kickstart her dream of traveling across the United States.

entering adulthood

Like her mother, she followed adventure where it led her. She traveled the United States for a few years, refusing to settle down for anyone or anything. She made new friends in several different cities throughout her travels. When she grew too tired of a place after being there for a while, she would pack up her belongings and head to the next state over. Gambling was her con of choice when Skai was low on funds. She would drive to the nearest casino, go to the poker tables, and rake in the winning pot with a sweet smile before heading out on her way. She was a gifted liar with a keen eye for bluffers and she knew how to get them to fold when she knew their cards weren't hitting the mark. Her luck kept her winning pot after pot, which eventually led to her getting a little too cocky.

It was the seventeenth of June when she was murdered. After learning about an underground poker tournament in a small town in Oklahoma, Skai decided to try her odds in winning. When she came to tournament, she could tell it was not the safest environment to be in. There were seedy dealers watching her every move. She watched them intently, counting the cards in their hands in her head. Before long, the adrenaline in her body was pumping and she knew she could win. After seven rounds, she had won the entire pot. All eyes were on her when she had won the final pot. When she was getting ready to leave with her earnings, a man had taken a lead pipe and hit her in the back of her head. Before she could even comprehend what happened to her, everything went black.
