Testing Humanity (1x1) [Telios and SaphireTsuki)

[Telios]

(Nope. >.>)


Telas walked outside with Selena and closed the door behind them.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

((Initiating timeskip then.))


In much the same manner time passed until the weekend, Selena teaching Telas about her people as much as possible, glad that he was at least willing to listen to her. She'd seen humans be transformed who, in the end, wished they could have returned to humans... all because they lacked the knowledge. It was the day of his ceremony, and Selena wore a flowing, easily removed dress and had her hair down.

 

[Telios]

Telas was sure that he wanted to be a Roronian. Soon the day came and he wore a pair of brown shorts and a red t-shirt. "Where are we going?" Telas asked Selena.


(I can explain the ceremony.)

 

[SaphireTsuki]

(Please? I don't know what's needed to be done. Can my character be in the royal-tribe, but not the line?)


"We've got the religious floor for today, I'll be taking you to our chamber. Everythings ready, and the family's all gathered.

 

[Telios]

(So the same tribe as Markus then. The ceremony starts with a piece of meat that was cooked for the one that want to be changed. In this case, Telas will eat the piece of meat and started to change. The Roronians attending the ceremony will form a circle around him as he changed. The transformation is painful and exhausting but no one can interfere it. You can do anything to that piece of meat since my partner didn't describe anything about it.)


"So we'll be up there, not outside?" Telas asked.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Yes, we can do it outside but..." She looked down, "Let's just say it'll ensure unwanted questions." Her hands tightened on a small package she held.


((Prepared at the ceremony or no?))

 

[Telios]

(Prepared.)


Telas nodded. "Should we get going?"

 

[SaphireTsuki]

A nod, "Yes we shall." She took a deep breath and began walking out of the dorms and towards the nearest set of stairs. The third floor, and their chamber, her family was waiting. How would Telas react to them, and how would they react to him?

 

[Telios]

Telas walked in and saw the Roronians waiting. "Good morning everybody..." He greeted shyly since he was only used to be with Selena.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

The mother of the family, a matron of elderly age with deep-green eyes that were almost black walked over to them, wrinkles evident on her face and a slight limp. "Selena, introduce us to the young man who's decided to join us."


"This is Telas, mother." She gestured between the two as she spoke, "Telas, this is my mother. The tall short-haired woman with grass-colored eyes is Aura, my sister, the youngling with clear eyes is Auren, my younger brother. My twin, Serena, couldn't make it today."


((Do I need more people?))

 

[Telios]

(Any would work. Just 3+)


"Nice to meet you, ma'am." Telas bowed to Selena's mother before saying hello to Aura and Auren.


(Waitaminute... Auren. xD )

 

[SaphireTsuki]

((Lol, partially why I did it.))


"Nice to meet you as well, Telas." Her mother gestured for Selena to go and take out the meat, readying it for use in the ceremony. Selena nodded, going to do so on one of various tables. "Come with me, Telas. We need to form a circle around you with one space for Selena to come in." It was a small family, but some of the members, their cousins and aunts mostly, hadn't been able to come.


(Let's see, Mom, Me, Sister, Brother... that's four. xD )

 

[Telios]

Telas nodded as he followed Selena's mom.


(I forgot to mention something. In the other 1x1, my character was naked at the ceremony so... Yeah. xD )

 

[SaphireTsuki]

(Oh dear.... Well, if that's what it has to be... Please don't go into too much detail.)


"Now, dear... I know this sounds strange, but you'll have to remove your clothes for the ceremony." Ah yes, humans had this strange sense of... well, awkwardness for removing clothing.

 

[Telios]

(I'm not that stupid. *rolls eyes*)


Teals nodded and timidly slipped his clothing off.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

(Well so-ry! Yesh, I was just remembering some people who /have/ gone into too much detail... admittedly on another site, but still.)


Selena shortly returned, the warm bear-like meat floating up. "You, Telias, wish to join our people, the Roronians." Stepping inside the circle, standing right in front of Telas, she offered him the meat, "Take this offering from the family, eat and become."

 

[Telios]

(I'm not those kind of people. I hate over-detailing something...)


Telas slowly grabbed the meat and eat the piece. Soon he felt a bit uneasy as his skin changed to green and his hair turned dirty blonde. His eyes went bigger along with his irises. After a while his change finished and he knelt down, panting as he was exhausted.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

Selena had stepped back, taking her mothers hand and gripping it tightly... once the change was over she looked to her mother, a swift nod, and walked over to him, gently pulling the newly changed man to a nearby pallet, putting him into a comfortable position and placing a blanket over him. "Sleep tight."

 

[Telios]

Telas slept soundly under the blanket, sometimes unknowingly touching the ridges under his forearms and fell asleep deeper.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

Selena sighed as she watched him, it was always so peaceful when they first slept. She ran her hand along his hair, a gentle smile on her face.

 

[Telios]

Telas slept for a good hour or so before waking up with a yawn.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

Selena quickly moved away when he began to wake up, now blushing slightly... he certainly was handsome as a Roronian, not that he hadn't been so before but... she was suddenly very glad she hadn't said any of that out loud.

 

[Telios]

Telas slowly sat up, trying to get used to his new self.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Hello, New blood." A small smile, sad but proud at the same time, "You can choose a new name, now."
