Mirus rested her head in her hands, shouting in pain as her projection inside Shiki's mind was "killed".


"What's wrong?" Harley asked with concern only for Mirus to draw her rifle, aiming it at Shiki's head "He can't be trusted!" She shouted


"But Bishop..." Max butted in


"Bishop was wrong! This fucker is dangerous! He can't be trusted."


"Woah, woah, woah. What's making you jump to these conclusions!" Max replied, taken aback

''I do not desire to harm you'' said Shiki on a calm tone, but his eyes were cold and calculated. Even if the one speaking was Shiki Tohno, he still had a small part of Nanaya withing his personality, which manifested itself when someone showed him hostility. ''On the other hand, I guess actions have greater value than words'' he added. He lifted his right hand with which he was now holding a rifle. It was the rifle that Mirus pointed at him a few seconds ago. Shiki used his supersonic speed to steal it from her, in the split of a second. He then went towards Max and gave him the rifle. ''As you can see, if I wanted to harm you, I would have done so from the begining'' said Shiki, calmly.

Upon recognizing the Sandtrooper armour from history, Syeron drew her lightsaber. "Mil, get behind me." She spoke in a soft voice, shooting the Geth a reassuring smile

"People use that excuse a lot." Max replied "Normally it's 'cause they're bein' genuine at that point. However, Beth just what in the hell makes you think this fellar, even if he's skilled is going to try and kill us."


"I." Mirus paused, if she was to explain her reasoning she would expose her true identity, probably compromising the mission in the process. She doubted that any of the group had even seen a Curabitur before, apart from Harley and Groot of course. She sighed as she began to come up with a lie "Look at his eyes." Mirus stated


"So?" Max shrugged


As the group argued, the horde began to shuffle mindlessly towards them.


"Erm guys when you're done interrogating him..." Harley butted in "We have a bigger problem than just potentially creepy guys in suits."

Seeing the horde approaching Crane said. "We don't have time for this. So are we going with my plan?" He opened up his backpack and started grabbing firecrackers. Crane tossed several near the horde, hoping to delay them.


Isaac had been sleeping for most of the argument and just woke up. He saw the incoming horde and picked up his plasma cutter. Isaac noticed the new guy and said. "So what did I miss?"

Shiki started walking towards the zombies, taking out his knife. ''You guys can go on ahead. I'll catch up to you after I lower their numbers just a little'' he said, smiling and acting in a calm manner. His knife, Nanatsu Yoru (Seven Nights), was indeed a relic of the Nanaya family, but it was a simple knife. It was Shiki's usual physical weapon, but not his main one. His true skills would show once he took off his glasses.

"Oh for Christ's sake." Max snapped in an annoyed tone as both Crane and Shiki made their moves. He began to open fire at Walkers approaching Shiki.


"Idiots!" Mirus shouted "You're only going to attract more of them!"


"That's the plan, sweetheart." Max chuckle


"It's a dumb plan." Mirus complained


"Simple enough, Crane and the others 'ill toss shit, causing these walkers to bundle together. With luck it'll force these hungry pricks into a bottleneck, or at least make them easier to shoot."


He approached Shiki, a revolver in one hand and one of his machetes in the other. "Hey new guy, save some for me."

Shiki looked at Max and sighed, but he was smiling. ''I will be careful not to get in your way then'' he said, as he took of his indestructible magical glasses and put them in his pocket. As he took them off, Shiki's eyes, which were initially grey, became glowing blue, with a purple circle surrounding the pupil.

Now with his eyes unrestrained, Shiki could see the many lines and dots which were everywhere, being the ulimate symbol of death. Through his eyes, the world seemed so fragile. But he had no time to contemplate on the delicate nature of existence. He had some cleaning to do.


By using the special movement techniques of the Nanaya clan, Shiki moved at supersonic speed and slashed through the zombies. Some were cut into many tiny pieces, some where stabbed through the 'dots' and literally disappeared from sight, as their existence as a whole was eliminated. Of course, Shiki didn't only use his knife, and made use of his free hand as well. He didn't need to use an ounce of strength to pierce the dots or cut the lines of death. Only 4 seconds had passed but tens of undead were already reduced to nothing, or severely mutilated. Finally, Shiki stabbed one of the dots on the ground, before jumping backwards, making a 20-meter radius area of the road ''be killed'', thus causing it to crumble and collapse, creating a pit of sorts, and about 30 zombies had fallen into that pit as well.


He retreated near the car and put on his glasses again. He didn't want to risk overusing his Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. ''I am done'' he said.

Max stepped away from Shiki disbelief, as did Bishop "Shit, son. How the hell did you manage to do that?"


"I am Groot." Groot shrugged


"You've got earthquake stabby powers!" Harley shrieked in an excited tone, a smile on her face only for this to quickly shift into a frown "Now do you have road-fixing powers or something...'Cause otherwise we're kinda stuck here."


Mirus sighed and approached Shiki, taking aim at walkers now shuffling into the hole now in the ground. She glanced down at them before looking back up at Shiki, attempting to figure him out without entering his mind. "You keep getting my curiosity, kid. You're a damn puzzle. Someone with that kind of power, yet you get lost."


Anyone can get lost Mirus thought to herself with a sigh.

That was amazing! Said Grail, amazed by Shiki's strength and agility. Soon, all the walkers were destroyed and the horde cleared after Darius opened fire and The Knights tag teamed a dozen of them. Now, let's fix the road and then we can head back to Washington. Said Grail as she approached the hole Shiki made in the road, looking down and setting the walkers ablaze with a snap of a finger. She then rose some of the earth from under the zombies and filled in the whole in the road with some dirt. Slapping her hands together, she made her way back into the car.So, let's get back on the road.

"Damn." Said Crane as he stared into the hole. "That definitely did the trick." He drew his sword and began to pick off the stragglers.


"Now what?" Asked Isaac as he dismembered a walker. "I'm not saying that wasn't useful but we were going on that road." He shot out the walker's legs and stomped its head in. Isaac then saw Grail fix the road. "Never mind." He stated.


Crane and Isaac got back into the car.

"You lot are all full of surprises." Mirus smiled as she walked back to the car and climbed inside "I might almost say I'm impressed."


"I wanna know what kind of shit you've seen where that doesn't impress ya." Max shook his head and he climbed into the back with Bishop


Are you an Earthbender?" Harleen asked Grail excitedly "You have to teach me how...Then again I always thought I was more of a water bender if anything."


Groot remained silent, taken aback by what he had just seen however he remained in the car. Harley searched for some music while Mirus gestured for Shiki to get into the back "Your carriage awaits, kiddo." She spoke with friendly sarcasm.

Shiki laughed, a bit embarassed at the people's amazement regarding his skills. At a certain moment Harley raised a valid point. Shiki fought on instinct and chose the most sutable course of action. He didn't know how he would have fixed the mess with the hole if it weren't for Grail. ''Oh, an earth manipulator. How conveninent'' he thought. Mirius then suddenly changed her behaviour and even asked him to come along.


Just as Shiki was about to enter the car, he could feel the presence of a certain being on an emphatic level. It was his familliar, Len, in human form running towards him at the speed of a moving vehicle. As she finally reached him, she morphed into a black cat and landed on his head.


''Len, how did you-?'' Shiki was about to ask how she got there, but stopped because he understood. She was his familliar after all, and she most likely followed him through the rift. He also wanted to know how she handled the zombies, but it was pretty obvious that she froze them solid, and Shiki realised that quickly. ''Nevermind. I'm very happy to see you'' said Shiki, warmly. Len purred in response.


Shiki eventually got in the car, with Len atop of his head. ''Oh, this is my familliar, Len. It seems she followed me through the rift'' he said to everyone.

The Mask Wearer chuckled at Harley. I'm not an earthbender but I can shape the elements. Said Grail with a friendly frown. I'm afraid I can't really train you either, as one has to find the power within themselves before they can master it. Explained Grail to the woman. Grail decided to take the driver's seat and spoke to "Beth". Mind if I take the wheel. Asked Grail.

Max scratched Bishop behind the ears "Oh don't worry he's fine with cats." He reassured Shiki and Len "It's assholes he hates. Goes right for the balls sometimes." He smiled


"You're not going to question how that lady turned into a cat?" Harleen asked


"Not the strangest thing I've seen this week." Max shrugged "At this point I just don't question things and wait until I get my hands on alcohol."


Harleen sighed in disappointment at Grail's words. "I suppose I'll just have to throw rocks at people the old fashioned way." She then turned her attention to Len "Who are you?" She asked "Can you turn into other animals, like a dinosaur or something? That would be pretty cool." She smiled


Mirus rolled her eyes in response to Harleen's words and chuckled slightly, turning to Grail "No one touches Brian Blessed." Mirus replied "Well except for me and Harleen. She picks the music, I drive, Jim does dinosaur things and Groot says I am Groot, occasionally." She attempted her best Groot impression only to fail miserably.


"Brian Blessed?" Max asked "No, you know what I said I wasn't going to question the crazy shit I see anymore." He shook his head.

Len looked at Harleen, before jumping on Shiki's left side and morphing back into human form. ''I am Len'' she said, on a soft voice, but in a rather neutral tone, then she paused for roughly 30 seconds, before adding: ''Only cat and human form''. Len was the taciturn type, and even on the rare occasions were she did speak, she'd limit herself to short sentences.


''Sorry. Len isn't very talkative. Though I most say, it is actually rare for her to respond using words. Maybe I should present her again. This is Len, my familliar and a succubus'' said Shiki.

"So you're a witch." Harleen replied "What do you turn people into toads and newts for pissing you off? I'm just asking so that I know in advance." Harley laughed nervously


"Don't worry if he turns you into a newt, you'll get better." Mirus chuckled "A succubus though...The kind that seduces people and then takes their souls by fucking them, right?" She asked in a curious tone "Not a bad way to go mind you but...I don't really plan on dying."

''I am...not like that'' said Len, on a neutral tone. It was her answer to both Harley and Mirus. The succubus who had the form of a prepubescent girl with blue hair, pointy ears and red, empty eyes, stood close to Shiki. Her dress was completely black, and her hair was tied with a big, black ribbon as well.


''Haha Len is not a witch. Although she can use ice magic'' said Shiki in reply to Harley's question. Afterwards he turned to Mirus and added: ''Hmm that is wierd. Do succubus do those kind of things around these parts? Len's succubus abilities enable her to manipulate dreams and feed on them. It doesn't have any particular negative effect on the people whose dreams she feeds on''.

After seeing that Shiki was telling the truth about Len, Mirus sighed in relief "Legends." Mirus explained "Legends of Succubi say those things. I suppose that's all legends are. Fairies and fay were aliens in disguise. Rogue scientists experimenting on us humans." Mirus was speaking the truth about the origins of fairies/fay but still lied about her own humanity.


"Tinkerbell was an alien in other words." Harleen explained "Makes Peter Pan look a lot creepier. Like Peter's an alien who abducts children."

Revan: Seeing the small encampment below them, Revan drew a single lightsaber hilt and ignited its green-hued blade. He looked over to Syeron and Mil and held out a flat palm facing them, telling them to stand down. He had this one covered. While the white-clad troopers, human-looking droid combatants, and the golden-clad soldiers carrying shields and staffs were unknowns to him, he could still recognize the danger that they posed. Leaping from the dune, the troopers were alert to the sound immediately and raised blaster rifles upwards, while the golden-clad soldiers ignited blue lightsabers from the ends of their staffs, which Revan now recognized as saber pikes. He could also sense the Force in them, which made them even more dangerous.


He landed and immediately cut down two of the white clad soldiers with a single stroke of his blade, followed by a blast of lightning into the droids, which stunned them and held them in place. Two of the saber pike-wielding opponents slowly advanced on Revan with their pikes leveled and their shields held up in defense. Revan guessed that any Force powers would either be intercepted by the shields or dissipated by the soldiers themselves, so he charged them and feigned a lunging attack, but used the momentum to flip over them midair and slash their weapons in half, catching the soldiers off-guard and causing them to stumble. When he landed, he slashed each of them across the back and finished the job by stabbing them in the back. Unhonorable sure, but they were dangerous foes indeed. Looking up to the two he left on the hill, Revan waved his arm towards the outpost.


"Come on! There's still more left," Revan shouted as he parried a strike from a knight and sent him flying with a powerful Force Push.

Syeron lunged towards Revan, cutting down a droid as it was about to fire on him while Mil loaded it's rifle with cryo ammo, opening fire on regular white-clad troopers, freezing them solid before they had a chance to fire upon it. It ran towards Syeron and Revan, continuing to fire on incoming troopers. Two more golden clad troopers leaped at the Geth, dodging Mil's attacks. As they drew closer it drew it's shotgun. It blasted one of the troopers as he raised his pike, killing him with a shot to the head but the other was quicker.


Mil activated it's omni-blade to defend itself, raising it and blocking the attack while Syeron lept at the trooper from behind. Sensing the attack, he spun around as lightsaber and pike clashed. Syeron winked at Mil as the Geth stabbed the trooper in the back with it's omn-blade, killing him instantly.


"You okay?" Syeron asked Mil


"I am fine." It replied, drawing it's rifle and loading it with more cryo-ammo as the two followed after Revan.
