Ah, I didn't read Dannigan's reminder before I made my roll and I also messed up on something else. My initiative roll gets +1 from my combat training and another +1 from the enhanced sensors bonus. This means my initiative roll should be 23. My bad xD


 
@Sherwood Was I also supposed to roll damage in my post in case it did hit?
 
I usually take care of damage to help speed things along, but if you wish to, feel free to post your damage roll and I'll edit my notes on how hurt the Officer Pod is.
 
It was something I started to do in another game to save time.
 
You should just be glad that I don't have a fumble chart in play.
 
Hey there. If folks want to roll their own damage, may I recommend an old time-saver from Dungeons and Dragons? Roll your strike and damage at the same time - if it misses, just disregard the damage. =)
 
Excellent idea. Damages for all the weapons are posted with each mecha or on the missile chart. Its up to you, but if you decide to roll your own damage, it will save me a step in the fighting.
 
Techie, it counts as one attack (note the dual particle beam cannon shots Taniya has been making at the cost of one action). =)

Ah, mmk. Thanks for confirming it. I noticed you have a pretty "Supporter" banner under your name now :P . Decided to donate, I see.
 
Dannigan is correct in the fact that it only takes one attack for a dual blast

Looks like my penchant for rolling ones at bad times has followed me to this game... Oh well! =)
 
Hmmm.. I think the scene that's running through my head is perfect. It's a little yellow minion saying "Oh poop." Now, how to dodge that shot............. YOU DON'T! TAKE ONE OF THEM WITH ME! No, seriously though, hope the dice gods are with me on my next role. Not that damn Tetris god. All I wanted, was a line piece. Instead, you give me nothing but squigglies and inverse squigglies. You bastard, Tetris god.
 
A sad day is coming to my home tomorrow. A kitty that has been in our family for nearly 19 years is going to be put down so he doesn't suffer in his old age anymore. Our old man. Lots of tears are going to be in our eyes, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'll be crying the most. He's been my boy for longer than my teenage daughter, and I have to say goodbye to him. Keep our home in your prayers.
 
I have a 16 year old kitty lying on my desk right next to me, tucked up in the blanket I've made for her. She's still feisty but arthritic despite the monthly shots we give her. I enjoy every day I have with her because I know there's far fewer ahead than behind.

Oh my gosh; my heart goes out to you. I will pray for you and yours (2-legged and 4). Our little "Blue" is around 3 years old. We're like Pips in that we enjoy her every day (wonderful little beastie that she is!).

No problem. Thanks for the heads-up. Also, a friend from another game that just happens to be married to Dannigan is probably going to be joining us. @Kaerri is a top-rate gamer, and she will be a great addition to the game.
