Fantasy Tales of Saniwa

Props to you for the extremely interesting plot and ideas, I would love to partake in all this if possible.

One question if I may though? What do ou suppose the occupations of the humans in the anti-kyonshi should be? As in, do they need to have any connection to a sacred power of some sort, sch as being able to purify twisted entities? Or may samurai, ninja, etc. apply as well to the ones to form this group?

By "being able to purify twisted entities," I'm assuming you're referring to onmyōji? Onmyōji are actually much less likely to join the anti-kyonshi group set up by Suisen since the onmyōji of Saniwa are all from families of onmyōji. This being said, they're much more likely to do their own thing within their own families in regards to defense against kyonshi. The reason why Suisen is forming a diffent group is because he feels that the onmyōji aren't doing enough since they have duties other than simply dealing with kyonshi.

Basically, anyone is allowed to join the anti-kyonshi squad. Well, anyone is allowed to participate in the trials, anyway. The thing is, the actual concept of defeating kyonshi is pretty simple: remove or destroy the tag that hangs on their faces. There's no special power required so just about anyone can defeat a kyonshi. The problem is that kyonshi tags aren't so easy to destroy and removing them tends to be even harder. This is because the kyonshi in Saniwa feel no pain and don't really have the same limiters that humans have. Also, the kyonshi retain the skills that the human once had back when they were alive despite the kyonshi technically being a hollow shell that's being manipulated like a doll. This being said, the only requirement for your character is to prove that s/he is strong enough by passing all of the trials during the competition.

Extra note: Normal humans can use "magic" (more like supernatural powers) even if they aren't an onmyōji. You'll see an explanation on how magic works in Saniwa in the official thread once it's up.

Sounds good.

Also i'm reading through the rules and stuff now, something caught my eye, in a good way mind.

Interactions: If you can't ever start anything, then I doubt this is the RP for you. This RP isn't completely character driven, but we still need to get things moving and this depends on characters actually doing something instead of simply reacting to a situation with only thoughts. If your character does nothing but sit there and think about what's going on, then they might as well not be there. If you're character is shy or antisocial, place them in situations where interactions can occur without having to have them directly start the interaction.
This, HOLY CRAP THIS!

This has pained me more then anything else, aside from people.. you know.. not actually reading your psot, onyl skimming the first few lines then assuming everything else.

i understand if somebody wants to play a wallflower, but being one and watching everyone else do things is... boring! hell when somebody comes to them it's like talking to a brick wall!

god damn...

good rule, good rule.

Good to know that this will apply to character interaction.

I tend to be afraid of approaching other character due to have them reject it for someone else or be forced to interact with mine when clearly are not interested...

This will certainly help me personally.

Is this groups still active and searching for members? If so I am I interested!
