Taking Flight [Inactive]

Kio walked along a cobblestone road in the center of the tribe. Kio never liked the central area very much. He only went there occasionally and this was one of those times. He lived near the outer rim of the tribe and liked the peacefulness and quiet of the forest. Of course every once in a while Kio had to go to the center of the tribee to sell some game, but this was not one of those times. Kio just felt like a beer in a nice tavern and to socialize a bit since the hunting was suspended for a while.
 
Goes deep into thought and changes into angel form and starts landing I should go... I don't even really like it her- falls on top of someone "Oh crap!" lays on the ground "Ow... Oh no!" turns around to see who I landed on "Oh god I am so sorry Mr. Kyoshy!"
 
Ali awakens just as Dierk flies off. What was he doing here?! she thought as she stretched out her wings.


She turned her head to Jack who was still asleep.


Maybe it would be better if I let him sleep a bit, she told herself in her head.


Ali jumped up and flew off, following Dierk. She realised as she followed he was going to the tribe.


And he landed on another Angel. Wow, such skill, insert my sarcastic clapping here, she thought.
 
Celeste emerged from her tent humming a tune under her breathe. Smiling brightly she looked around. It was a perfect day to hunt. She was already anticipating the thrill running through her veins as she stalked her prey, getting closer and closer until-


Her excited thoughts slammed to a halt as she remembered. She wasn't allowed to hunt. She scowled to herself. Damn everything.
 
Notices Celeste and helps Mr. Kyoshy up "Sorry..." then jogs over to Celeste "Hey... I was wondering something..."
 
Jack woke up around early morning and saw that Ali had gone off some where. He looked at Dara to be sure she was ok. A bit after that he headed into the forest with his bow notched. He began his hunt searching for animal clues
 
Oh woah, its Celeste she has made an appearance, Ali thought as she watched the two.


She was in a tree on a lower branch hidden in the shade. Sometimes she's glad she is mostly darker coloured as a bird.
 
Smiles lightly sadness in my eyes "I... I was wondering..." tears forming in my eyes "I was wondering if you would miss me..."
 
She cocked her head to the side. There was something in his tone that didn't seem right. "Miss you if what...?" She tried to predict what he was going to say but was clueless.
 
Jack had finally found a few rabbit tracks, he managed to track them down to his best capability, but as soon as he saw the rabbits he heard a limb crack he turned around and saw a bear right behind him. He knew the bear would attack him and that his bow wouldn't be strong enough he got out his revolver and shot a single bullet that rang out around him and he got the bear right in the heart.
 
Looks down at my feet "T-Tribe life just isn't for me... I can't handle all these people... I think I would do a lot better on my own... I just wanted you to know I am leaving..."
 
He regained himself and holstered the revolver. He skinned the the bear and started to head back to camp when he thought to himself that gunshot was loud I wonder if anyone heard it. He just shrugged it off and continued to walk
 
Celeste's eyebrows rocket up. "You're leaving? Does anyone else know?" She thinks for a moment and then asks quietly, "Where will you go?"


A faint noise echoes through the forest and she straightens slightly, before turning back to Deirk. It was probably nothing.
 
"Yes... No..." points at the mountains "I hear there's good housing in there and humans can't climb up it because it is too steep."
 
"But it would be so lonely." But so much freedom. She thinks quietly to herself. She snaps out of those thoughts. "Of course I'd miss you! Can I visit you? What do loners even do?"
 
Jack made it back to the camp and started to cook the meat he let his mind wonder while he stoked the flames, he wondered how on earth he would be able to leave if a tribe heard that gunshot
 
What the hell was that? Ali turned around as she heard the gunshot. Oh god, Jack has a gun. Why now? Ali takes off and looks for Jack from the skies.


Soon she spots Jack. Ali dives down, switching as she falls, and when she lands she pulls out her tessen. "Jack, what happened?" she rushes to push out the question.
 
Jack simply looked up at Ali, grinned, and pointed to the meat he was cooking hoping she would know what type of meat it is." any guesses to what this thing of meat here use to be."
 
Smiles at Celeste "Pretty sure there job is basically everything a tribe has to do but on one person and I would kind of like to be a loner for the freedom and peace. And of course you can visit anytime... Just come to me whenever you need me."
 
Ali squinted her eyes as she stared at the piece of meat over the fire while putting away her weapons. As she realised what type it was she whispered, "Bear..."


She turns around and hits Jack in the back of the head. "What the hell! I thought some tribe Angels ambushed you or something!"
 
Despite Kio's shyness he was too curious to let the conversation pass by, so he quickly flew onto a rooftop and listened from to their conversation from there.
 
A flash on movement catches Celeste's eye. The dark shape of a magpie darts away. Surely not the magpie from the night before? She turns back to Deirk. Clearly, this is a big thing for him but she can visit. He will be here when she gets back. He's always there for her.


She shoots him an apologetic look. "I got to go check something!" She shouts before flaring her wings and shooting into the air.


With her acute vision she is able to easily follow the magpie as it darts between the trees. Suddenly it ducks beneath the dark leaves and doesn't come back out. She pulls up sharply and dives. Seconds from hitting the ground, she flares her wings and lands in a graceful crouch, bow in hand and arrow pointed that the angel before her. "Who are- Jake, what?"
 
" ow that hurts ya know and I had to use my gun it snuck up on me and I had a little bit of time to react." he grinned and saw Celeste entrance," nice if I do say so my self and its jack not Jake." he motioned to the meat." want any bear I just shot it a little bit ago."
 
Nods respectfully and goes to my room to pack some stuff noticing Mr. Kyoshy up on the roof "Ummm... Hey what are you doing up there? Heh heh..."
