Taking Flight [Inactive]

"You may not want it. That has no effect on the fact that I... I... uh... hmm.. uh.... uuuuuhhhhh...


Suddenly, Tek collapsed, freeing the angel girl he had hostage. He did have concussion after all, or some kind of serious head injury.
 
Logan raised his brows hastily, dropping Maelve's weapons and kneeling next to him, finding some rope. Quickly, he disarmed him and roped his legs and hands hardly together.
 
"Ugh," Ali worded her disgust at the Angel, the way his hand was clamped around her neck.


She stood and rolled the Angel over with her foot, don't need his wings crumpled.


"What if we just take his weapons?" Ali asked Logan.
 
"God knows what kind of physical attack he has!", he warned as he stripped him from the weapons.

Maeve held her burning nose as she beheld strange, foreign scene unfolding in front her and tried to make sense of it.


Her nose was broken; that was obvious by the intense pain and strange misalignment. But stranger still was these angels' actions. It was obvious that they were protecting her, even against their own kind.


Bewilderment and astonishment possessed her all at once. How can this be real... I must still be dreaming.....





Even after they had 'won' the battle, Maeve could do nothing but gaze in a mystefied stupor.
 
Ali nodded, not really listening anymore.


"Lodgie..." Ali tried saying Logan's nickname not caring who really heard.


"Well I think his cuffs have multiple weapons," Ali stated.
 
"Yeah, mind to doublecheck him? Gotta check up his head", he said as he took a med kit, starting to examine his skull. He disinfencted a few points, covering them with bandages.
 
Logan nodded a bit in his thoughts, patching the angel up and then doublechecking him, taking all his weapons off.
 
Maeve shook her head at Ali. Turning away from her, she breathed in, and, cringing, cracked her nose back into place. A quiet "mmf"escaped her, and she kept the tears from flowing down. It hurt in a magnitude of the sun; piercing and blinding into her thoughts.


And she was already having difficulty with those. A complete confusion had fallen over her as she tried to reconcile what she had just witnessed. Maybe it was staged? A trick? Perhaps they did not know the intruder and did not think they should reveal the truth to him..? But were not all angels in communication?


Something was strange here, and the anomoly shook the foundations of Maeve's inner world.
 
Ali just nodded as Maeve shook her head and turned away. She cringed when the Human grabbed her nose and cracked it back in to place.


"How's the intruder's head?" Ali asked as she walked over to Logan and the 'other Angel'.

Kio walked in to see the intruder tied up. He ran over to Maeve and said "Are you all right? What happened?"
 
"This idiot of an Angel broke her nose," Ali snarled at the unconscious Angel on the floor.


"Also, she cracked her nose back in place which I find disgusting, its really weird," Ali said pretending to throw up.
 
"Right..." Kio said slowly catching up to what happened. "Wow! I can't believe I missed it, I'm sorry..."
 
"Should be glad actually," Ali laughed, "it almost turned into a blood bath!" Ali smiled at Kio then stretched out her wings.


"So, wanna eat something?" Ali asked.
 
"Maybe we should take some out from that weird storage area, I'm not really bothered to go out flying," Ali said, glancing out the opening to notice it was starting to get dark.
 
Ali smiled and nodded at the two before pulling spare meat out of the coldest part of the cave. "Kio start a fire won't you?" Ali called out.
 
"Nah, I haven't seen him in ages. You got any idea where the hell he is?" Kio replied. "You probably scared him so bad he ran away somewhere else.
 
"Oh trust me, I ain't done nothing yet," Ali sneered, a dark shadow falling over her eyes.


She coughed and looked over at the meat which was done cooking. She gestured towards it and spoke, "That's done by the way. You can dig in."
