Taking Flight [Inactive]

She shouldered her bow. "Let's see if there are any deer around this area." Flapping her wings, she guided herself onto one of the topmost branches of a nearby tree. Using this as a vantage point she scanned the area.
 
Sits next to Celeste in bird form looking around then changes to human "I see one right by that lake... Heh... That was easy."
 
"Off we go!"


Celeste dives from the tree and onto the ground before rolling to her feet. The impact jarred her wrist slightly but she figured it was a cool move. She took off towards the river, her laughter ringing through the forest.
 
"Hey, Deirk! If you want close up cuddly time with Celeste you're gonna have to do it when I'm not around!!" Ali yelled out as she zipped through the trees, stretching her wings. Ali cheered as she passed heaps of trees until she collided head first into a large tree.


"Owww..." she said as she rubbed her forehead, flapping to keep her in the air.
 
Jumps high off the tree spreading out my wings figuring if humans didn't hear Celeste's laughter they would see a huge angel flying while laughing loudly at Ali "Smooth move! Try looking before talking it really helps!"
 
Celeste reached the river. Her bow was already in her hand and the arrow flying before she had fully stopped running. A deer dropped, dead. Around it, the other deer were beginning to realise they were in danger and panic rippled through the frightful animals.
 
Kio left behind suddenly realised that he should probably follow before they left him so off he soared into the sky and tailed behind Dreirk.
 
Drops down wrapping both my arms around two deer bringing myself on purpose to a crash land which ended in me killing both of the deer "Woops meant to grab only 1."
 
Kio dropped from the sky timing his fall perfectly and landed on a deer with his katana facing down into the deers body. The impact hurt his knees a bit but the fun and the cool way it felt quickly pushed the pain aside.
 
Watching the angels descend upon the deer was truly awe inspiring. Celeste watched them for a second more before shouldering her bow, drawing her daggers and moving towards a second deer. She sprint forwards and jumped, her wings flapped - once - twice - to give her extra lift and she brought down her twin blades, ending its life. She wiped a hand across her forehead.


"Fresh meat has been scarce among the tribe. This will almost certainly be welcomed."
 
"Guys its hunting! Not mass murder!" Ali yells from the sky as she throws one of her closed tessen blades, a piece of fabric wrapped around it to keep it closed.


The blade hits a deer in the chest as Ali lands.
 
Smiles and grabs both deer by there antlers and lifts them "Wow... Heavy but lighter then I expected." 
Smiles at Ali "We aren't just feeding ourselves. Heh... Well I call dibs on this one." lifts the light one that I carry in my right arm "Heh."
 
"Well I don't exactly eat this sort of stuff straight away. I'm a Pica Hudsonia, I scavenge," Ali says proudly as she pulls her tessen out of the deer and cleans it on the grass.
 
Kio slung his game over his right shoulder and watched as the other angels, his friends (he liked to assume) collected their game.
 
Smiles at Kio "Nice... I think this one weighs more though." chuckles and lifts up the one I'm carrying on my left arm
 
Celeste rolled her eyes at them both and grabbed the nearest downed deer. "I have weapons training, I need to get back to the tribe. See you later guys."


She turned and sprinted away, her wings opened and she was flying through the air, heading towards the tribe. The deer barely weighed her down.
 
Kio laughs and throws his deer at Deirk. "Bet you can't catch it though since mines to heavy" Kio teased.
 
"You males are so dumb," Ali jokes as she hauls the deer.


Maybe I'll take it to Jack, she thought.


"So, I'm going to Jack's camp," Ali said and flew off.
 
"Hey, maybe if you build some muscle, Celeste will return your feelings," Ali jokes and sticks out her tongue. Then she speeds off, way ahead of Deirk.
