The Silent Z
Just Here
The time of momentary silence between a response and his words to the pair of men outside his door had been filled with seconds of feint hope that something exciting would happen. Of course the man didn't wish for harm to come to others of his village or for anyone to truly know how to enter the village, in order to engage in such a act of infiltration and a potential assassination attempt on himself life. But it would be quite exhilarating for the Takikage and somewhat of a boost allowing a elevation from his slight noticeable aura of boredom that called his face and body home. It was just simply too quiet and too peaceful for one man to take, not that he was complaining really as the peace was a good sign for his people only issue was the role he agreed to undertake four years ago which didn't allow for much travel and missions for the Takikage or any village leader really. But all this was came to a halt when his ears took to the familiar voice of Ryohei upon the mans entry to his office accompanied by Chiruka.
His eyes soon focused on the pair as he lifted his head and sat back in his chair, accepting the greeting from one of his personal guard with a smile. A interesting man who's Kekkei genkai was rather curious and intriguing, but what was truly a interesting part about him was the seeming inner struggle with another side of Ryohei yet despite it the man proved a worthy shinobi in his own right and valuable guard to his person. As the man entered and greeted with a smile and nod while speaking on the morning, Zō returned a smile but without a nod as a slight kink in his neck proved preferable to going without a nod, likely a result of his morning and angled variations of where he placed his head in comparison to his neck. "Morning, Ryohei....." He began with a slight pause greeting the bowed Chiruka as the man entered and spoke up. "It's been too peaceful, dull...... But great for the people and the village itself. Still part of me... wouldn't mind a attempt on my life, you know just to liven things up a bit." The man chuckled softly in reply making it hard to tell if he was joking or not, though Ryohei likely could tell after the amount of time they had known each other. "But what of your morning Ryohei? "
Truth be told he like doing his role and title yet at times he missed his more active years. Thus he took to using odd hopes of something happening to liven' mood and rejuvenate him a bit, make him feel more useful and alive now that his anbu and jonin years and etcetera were behind him now. But upon responding to Ryohei he then turned his eye back toward Chiruka, a curious man, Zō wasn't one to judge but it wasn't often you found a man wearing women's clothing, least not without reason, well reason that was more expected then what he thought might be Chiruka's, yet he wasn't sure what that might be. Zō never did quite feel it right to ask or how to ask exactly without offending the man, he could only ever come up with more blunt and straightforward ways of asking him. But still that aside his attention was toward male and offering a smile, the guy seemed nervous and full of his own kind of inner turmoil, or was it lacking of confidence in himself? Perhaps he was wondering something? Though despite how others might view Zō's choice of jonin to lead one of this generations genin squads, he liked the pick and saw the potential within for personal growth and the fit as well as growth of his new genin team. "Ah, Chiruka.... I'm glad you chose to stop by the office, saves me from tracking you down and speaking to you before your arranged meeting with the genin squad you now have in your capable hands." He spoke while offering a small reassurance. " No doubt you're excited or perhaps nervous.... Maybe both?" Zō questioned aiming to pinpoint the jonins seeming concerns and issues with some investigating of his own. " Feel free to share anything that may be on your mind. It's a open forum inside these walls here after all." Zō added straightening the files on his desk and making them nice and neat before offering the genins files to Chiruka.
