Taboo

"Whatever you want babe," Evan said to Anya. She was already being forceful and controlling. This made him smile. Oh yes he had made the right choice in coming her after all. He could already feel the pleasure he would get from the girl and wondered if anyone else would be willingly. He wasn't sure. He thought that maybe one of them might be another sadist, but he had missed the earlier confessions and she hadn't said anything yet. He would see.

Evan was in a state of bliss, that he was only vaguely aware of the continuing confessions though.

Jupiter blinked when one of the others, a girl with choppy blonde hair, asked her to talk. She was listening to Andy which a small smile. If only her family knew about this. Even from the small things she knew, they would scream and holler about the sin that was in this place and how all of them needed to be punished. She shut her eyes in fear at the kind of things they might say about how they should be punished.

"I..." Jupiter found it hard to speak. Would they judge her harshly like the sinner she was? No. She couldn't think like that. Sure her family saw her that way, but she had long turned from God. She was no sinner. "I am obsessed with sex," she managed to force herself to say. They had all managed to confess, so she had to do it too. "And I'm also pan as well."

"Pan," Evan said, his eyebrows knitted across his forehead in confusion. She thought he might know that word, but his mind was still distracted.

"Pansexual. It means I like anyone sexually. Guy, girl, trans, shemales, whatever. I'm your equal opportunity slut," Jupiter said, her tone almost bitter about it.

As the dark-haired girl turned to meet her eyes, her lips curving into a smile, Anya held her gaze without comment for several moments, then returned the smile. The smile held no real joy, but only a dark, secretive understanding. The girl had not spoken, but clearly, after Anya's introduction, she too had sensed a kinship of spirit. That was no issue to Anya...there was always room in her mind for another of her type, someone to brag about past conquests with, someone who would not only give her a satisfactory audience, but also feed off what she had to say.

Anya just hoped she wouldn't get possessive over Evan...then again, maybe she did. That could be REALLY interesting.

As Andy spoke up, Anya had little to say to her. She had known at a glance what Andy's secret was, and to her it wasn't much of a secret at all. In fact, she yawned openly, then stretched, as though to convey what she thought of this secret.

"Fan of Moulin Rouge? Or just Rent?" was her only comment. "Rocky Horror Picture Show casualty? Gotta be one of those."

Keegan, however, stared at Andy, looking over her features, her body, and her clothing with unbelieving scrutiny as she took in the fact that Andy was biologically female. Shaking her head, she muttered again under her breath about weirdos even as she pulled her legs up to her chest in her chair.

As Hedric made some comment to his imaginary friend about someone being anal, Anya snickered, nodding subtly to Andy as she remarked, "Don't say "anal" around her, she might get stimulated."

Eyes flickering to Charles as he refused to share his obvious issue, Anya flicked a lazy hand in his direction. "Well this one is obviously a casualty of Nightmare Before Christmas. Idolizes Jack Skellington, or else a coat hanger...next?"

Raising an eyebrow at Evan, she scoots just a little closer to him, her thigh brushing his, and digs her nails into his knee hard as she looks him in the eye, smiling. "Sit. Stay...and no speaking unless spoken to. Got it?"

But her attention was immediately drawn out by Jupiter's proclamation, and she couldn't resist yet another snarky comment. "How about flora and fauna and wild beasts? Those too? How about Miss Lolita, you hot for her too?"

She jerks a thumb in Keegan's direction, and Keegan jumps up, immediately angered, her face reddening. She appears from her posture ready to deck anyone who further implies such a thing.

"Don't you TOUCH me! Don't you even LOOK at me!"

“Clever,” Hendric simply said in reply to Anya’s comment on what he had said, largely indifferent to her remarks at the moment. It was obvious that she simply had to reply to everything that the people in the room confesses, in truth it seemed that she needed validity or something similar. His eyebrow raised as he looked back at Iness, her eyes rolling at Anya’s comment followed by a wise remark toward Anya. To that he chuckled a bit with a nod, “Maybe.”

Kins tilted his head as Iness walked to his side, her getting more interested in the talk now. She had always been one to be drawn to confessions and the such, he figured she liked them because of her interest to all things that made a person vastly different from everyone else. Iness almost clapped as Jupiter confessed, it seeming like Iness was becoming a metaphorical audience with each passing moment. He sighed at her enthusiastic reaction to Jupiter’s confession, him rolling his eyes at Iness. Hendric said in a whisper to Iness, his finger over his lips after he spoke, “This isn’t a talk show Iness, Shush.”

His attention was drawn after Anya made another comment targeting two people, it seeming that she wants someone to punch her in the face. To that Kins briefly thought that she did like pain in regards to it being done to herself, maybe she’s rather incite it herself. He chuckled a bit to himself as they were in the middle of a confrontation of sorts, him finding his thought a bit comical. Iness remarked in reference to thinking it would be funny if someone would do some sort of pain to Anya, turn-about being fair play and all. Hendric shook his head and then paused saying with a thoughtful expression, “Maybe that would be a decent idea Iness.”

Charles, who was normally a social guy, was not liking Anya's attitude. The Evan guy might like it which was fine with him, but he didn't come here to get insulted. He was accepting of all of them, but this girl seemed to just want to start a fight or something. So far it seems no one was willing to play, but he didn't think she'd just stop.

He looked at the latest person to confess and wondered how weird the "taboos" were going to get. It was already pretty strange. He felt sort of uncomfortable. Not because he didn't want to be around these people, although he could do without some of them, but because he didn't think this was going to work.

Charles ignored Anya, thinking that was the best method to dealing with her. Instead he looked at Keegan. "No one is going to touch you," he said in a rather calming tone. "Don't worry. I'm quite sure no one wants to be here either. But no one is going to hurt you or anything."

Evan made a noise that could only be called a grunt when he felt Anya dig her nails into him. He swallowed hard, trying not to show how much he enjoyed even just a little taste of pain. It had been far too long for him. He ached for more, but he was beginning to learn the girl's ways. He would play by her rules as long as he got what he wanted. Besides it was all too good anyways. He didn't mind at all.

"Of course. You're in control here."

Jupiter raised an eyebrow at Evan. She was glad she wasn't sitting near him. Though his pleasure at being hurt started to make her realize it had been a while since she last had sex. She pushed away that thought. No needed to start getting turned on and horny in the middle of the meeting. She was sure none of the people here would appriecate it if she jumped them. Well, maybe. She wasn't sure actually.

Anya's comment hit her hard and she looked away. What was this girl's issue? Well she could guess but still. She went into a defensive mode, but she bit back any comments she might wanted to say. It wasn't worth it.

"Actually she's not my type really. Not that I really have one, but she seems rather young for me to chase." She looked at Keegan. She seemed to be almost terrified of them all. She wondered why. She knew that they were not really normal people, but she seemed to think that they might attack her or something. It was kind of sad. She also wondered how she was viewing them if she was acting this way.

Yanking the knot of his tie lower and then tightening it back up in frustration, Trevor walked faster after he hopped off the bus and aimed for a plain-faced building his brother had driven him by a few days ago so he would know it. So much for being responsible, he thought bitterly, shouldering the door open. As he took the stairs two at a time, fixing his shirt collar, he briefly longed for the simpler days of—a quick shake of his head interrupted those thoughts and he focused on finding the right room.

The door was mostly closed, but he could hear raised voices; there was tension he could feel even standing outside. It almost stopped him from going in. But he had promised Zach. Fighting against the wary stiffness of his body, Trevor pushed the door open a little more and slipped inside. His eyes were first drawn to a young girl, agitated and on her feet, fists clenched; this was a threatening stance. Trevor turned his eyes away, then wondered if she would understand this gesture. Communication had become much more complicated than he was used to.

Still trying not to incite any warning signals, Trevor tucked his hands behind his back and sidled away from the door, his back to the wall without touching it yet. It wasn’t his place to control this group of humans, but someone needed to soon, because no one was comfortable or pleased in the enclosed space. Mouth closed and tense, Trevor listened and looked at no one, trying to figure out what was going on.

Her eyes flitting to Charles, Keegan stares at him witheringly, lip slightly curled, and continues to keep her arms crossed defensively over her chest. He isn't her type at all, not only because he is thinner than she herself is, but also because he is much too young. All of them are- not interesting at all. None of THESE guys would be able to provide for her, none of THESE guys were big and strong and manly enough for her to even bother to look at them seriously, let alone try to show them the best of what she had cultivated of her sex appeal. None of THESE guys would even know how a relationship was supposed to be, or how they were supposed to love her.

"SOME of you want to be here," she muttered back to Charles. "I don't. I'd leave if my foster mom didn't like sit outside the door making me stay in here."

Sensing another to skewer, Anya turned to her with a smirk, giving a faint, mocking laugh. "Oh, I see how it is. Lolita's scared her mama might get her in trouble when it comes to doing the creepy meeting shtick, but if an eighty year old guy offered her a piece of candy in a sketchy back alley, she'd go running, drooling all the way. Yeah, I totally get it."

"I would not!" Keegan flared up again, turning to glare in the older girl's direction. "Guys THAT old are all wrinkly! And my name is KEEGAN, not Lolita!"

"Oh, sue me, so you have your standards. Gotta be wrinkle-free, or just not yet requiring Pez dispensers filled with Viagra to play the naughty with you?" Anya smirked, and Keegan, not actually understanding what she was saying, snapped back.

"I'm not a FREAK like you!"

"Freak? Damn, how that hurts," Anya rolled her eyes. "Gotta try harder than that, Lo."

Returning her attention back to Evan, she walked her fingertips lightly, slowly up his thigh, just to tease, then slid herself boldly into his lap, adjusting her position with tormenting continued slowness for maximum effect. Then she set one heel down hard on his foot, continuing to subtly press down and grind in as she sat on him.

"Didn't say you could speak, remember?"

Satsu was most certainly enjoying the view, as if she had picked the perfect seat to watch everything unfold. Sitting back and relaxing she shifted her gaze from speakers and participants, watching how they acted and interacted as they spoke. So the tom boy wanted to be a boy after all, who would have saw that one coming? The girl, or perhaps boy was it, they seemed self conscious. A typical teen aside this small infraction. One of the more tame newcomers of the night they would seem, hell Andy's problem was a damned medical disorder.

Andy turned to Anya as she started to speak up. But of course she had something to say about everyone. She reminded Andy of a catty cheerleader. Perhaps they all liked to inflict pain, seemed legit from how they all acted anyway. Though she had heard of Rocky Horror, Andy had never seen it, or even heard of the other two refinances, so Andy only looked blankly at the girl, not getting what the girl was trying to say. Though at the pick up of anal even if she hadn't heard the other speak it, Andy knew what she was referring then and they felt their face heat up in embarrassment at the thought alone.

Biting her lip as to not start cracking up as the references went over Andy's head she couldn't help but to laugh as Anya continued the verbal assault. Yes that reference definitely got a blush out of the gender confused one. And for some reason that got a glare from them. Go figure, she hadn't even said anything. Satsu in turn only smiled and gave the tomboy a wave.

Hendric kept talking to himself, correction someone he believed was there, Satsu wondered just how strongly that audio video was wired and if it could be influenced from an outside source. She would definitely have to look up schizophrenia when she got home, though she had a feeling she could learn more by watching and interacting than a Google search. Skullf*cker seemed to want to snap back at Anya just like the rest of them, Satsu could practically feel all the negative energy in the room towards her kin. Just what was that girl plotting in her head? She most likely just fed off the energy, that or wanted to have one of them try to kick her ass. Hell she was just saying what most the others were thinking out loud anyway. An obvious instigator, this girl definitely had a different technique than Satsu did.

The pansexual surely caught Satsu's attention, hell she was addicted to sex and open to any type, perhaps she wouldn't be as open as others in certain regards but fun could be had with one like her despite that.

Watching Anya tease Evan though, Satsu had to shake her head of the thoughts and excitement she got just from witnessing. Evan shows his pleasure to the torment, relenting control ever so easily. Well Satsu always did like a challenge. She wondered if they could stake claims for the sub and still get along despite the outcome was.She wanted to inflict, she wanted to feel, she wanted to be involved. Hell she very well might have tried jumping the pair right then and there if somehow James hadn't earned her respect and laid down the law. There weren't many rules, but the rules that were were set in stone. It was only a matter of time until the others learned of this and how James truly was.

Another latecomer enters the room and at first glance Satsu recognized a sub. That posture, lack of eye contact and complete in-dominance. Interesting, she mused to herself, keeping her eyes on this one. He didn't seem completely broken, but more than willing to lower himself to anyone, would one like him even recognize a good or bad owner?

Watching the interaction with the child Satsu wondered if she would even make it to the next meeting, surely she could easily play an adult, and she had enough crap on the place to tell her so called foster mom about how horrible it was in here, unless she played that card too often, she may be stuck after all.

James coughed and gave Anya a stern look. “We are very open and accepting here in ALA, and a lot of things we let go, but while you are in this room you shall act every bit a lady and not a wild animal in heat. Remove yourself from Mr. Chamber's lap at once before I have to do it for you. Trust me love, you'd prefer the former rather the later.” questionable drink still in hand, and as mismatched as his outfit was when that man got serious and spoke in such a way he commanded attention and obedience.

Lolita…at the motor mouth’s comment, Trevor fit a couple of the pieces together and glanced at the young girl still on her feet, though his face was turned away from the confrontation. In the same glance he saw the antagonistic girl slide onto the lap of the young man next to her. That didn’t seem right for a place that was supposed to be safe, no more did the rest of the bile spilling out of her mouth.

At that point a sloppy looking man spoke up, voice stern as he looked at the blond girl. Trevor’s ears twitched a little at the authority in his voice, but he wasn’t especially moved. He wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not, though. A new movement caught his attention, another man approaching him in a crouched stance and Trevor felt goose bumps ripple over his flesh.

In a second he wasn’t hovering near the wall anymore but standing up straight, his weight tipped forward on his feet in a threat of forward momentum, his hands at his sides but stiff and ready. The man still running around on all fours shied away from the warning, shoulders hunched and head tucked, averting his eyes. Trevor didn’t break his hard stare until the man had ducked behind someone else’s chair with a soft whine.

Having defended his space he was half-willing to interact with the room now and glanced around evenly, listening for continued verbal assaults.

Anya's eyes slid over to regard James, and as she took in the drink in his hand, the rather silly looking outfit he was clad in, her lips twitched, her eyes sparking with her amusement at this unexpected authority figure. Regardless, she gave him a mocking salute.

"Aye aye, captaino. No fun in this joint, noted and followed."

She very slowly slid herself from Evan's lap and resumed her seat beside him, for now falling into silence, but she is ever alert, and very much self-satisfied. Across the room, Keegan is still standing, still very tense in posture, but as James speaks, her attention is finally drawn towards him. She looks him up and down, and then she too smiles faintly.

He looks to be in his late twenties or early thirties, just making the criteria Keegan sets for her attractions. And he's shut up that awful Anya girl...this here is enough for Keegan to set him in her sights.

She runs a hand through her disheveled hair, attempting to detangle it with some self-consciousness, and then moves to sit beside him, very close beside him. Her demeanor is no longer aggressive, and in fact she appears eager.

"What's your name?"

Watching this, Anya snickers, but says nothing, only watching with great interest.

Hendric pretty much just sat back and watched as the jabber continued, it seeming to drone on and on with retort after retort. In truth it was rather boring and did not hold his attention long, Iness sharing the sudden and abrupt indifference. Anya was somewhat comparable to a slinky, she was amusing for a short time but you could only watch her for so long before you moved on to something else. With that comparative in Hendric’s mind he crossed a leg over his knee and started to twirl a quarter in between his index finger and thumb, which such things he picked up as he sat through endless sessions through therapy…some psychiatrists are a bit bland surprisingly.

His mind started to wonder as he dethatched himself from his surroundings, him even missing James’ short speech. Hendric laughed a bit to himself as he remembered a scene from a movie that involved a guy accosting a prostitute, her asking for a credit card for services. After he remembered that he raised a brow noticing that everyone had quieted down, surprisingly Anya had done the same. His eyes searching for why everyone had became silent, then finding Iness and noticing that she was looking at the same location that everyone else was. It appeared that Kins missed James-the host of this get together-establish a sense of order.

Hendric also noticed that there was another newcomer to the group that had not been present before he checked out for a moment, he tilted his head at the guy. He didn’t say anything for a moment, Hendric simply looking at the guy for a time. After a certain amount of time with a blank stare on his face he waved at Trevor with a light smile on his face, Hendric’s other side shining through at that moment…of which so far his serious/comical side had been present. “Howdy,” he simply said to Trevor, rather friendly in comparison to his previous tone of voice.

Evan's mind was getting cloudy with desire and pleasure and he whimpered as if asking for more. He tried hard not to get too excited. No reason to make Anya think he was far too easy or reached his peak too soon. Evan could endure pain for quite some time. It was why he wanted to seek out a dom. Someone who would willingly hurt him for as long as they desire, instead of just the normal fights he got into.

Somewhere deep down, Evan wanted to cry from the pain that was inflicted on him. He deserved this. He was pathetic and worthless and he deserved the pain he was being given.

But it ended all too soon. The guy who was in charge, told Anya to behave herself in so many words. He looked at James and wiggled his eyebrows at him. He loved it when people took charge as well, not that he expected anything from James at all. Still he couldn't control himself. But he calmed himself down. He was sure soon enough he'd get what he wanted, what he craved. Just not here.

Jupiter was finding it hard to focus. A lot was going on right now. She had settled down, but her mind was moving as fast as it could, trying to study everyone and understand them. She watched Keegan out of the control of her eye. She seemed to have found something to make her stop acting all whiny and of course it was James. She looked at the man herself. Yeah he was attractive and she could see herself going for him. Then again, she'd probably be with anyone in this room excluding a few.

"So...who hasn't spoken yet," she asked though she wasn't sure if anyone heard her.

James would nod at the girl as she obeyed, his interest would be lost quickly once she started to behave. But of course he had somehow attracted the attention of the child with a male complex of sorts. Looking to her then around the room he would introduce himself . “My name is James and I am for lack of a better word your councilor. Now if anyone else would like to introduce themselves I'd advice to now, otherwise anyone can feel free to take the floor now” he glanced at the individuals within the room before taking a sip of his drink. It certainly was a mix of characters here tonight. He wouldn't really have it any other way though.

Nervously, Trevor scratched his thumb against his palm as the little girl toed the same line the blonde had just been pushed back from. He hoped the minute he had seen wasn’t what the whole meeting would be like. It had to be new group jitters; he didn’t belong with a bunch of sex deviants.

An uncomfortable silence claimed the room shortly after the blond girl silenced and the young girl settled in next to the counselor. That man broke the silence, introducing himself and offering a last chance for them to get friendly and open. In the same span, a man across the room had taken to staring at Trevor, and the intensity of that drew his gaze unwillingly. Still the man stared and then, abruptly with a toothpaste smile and a wave, said “Howdy,” and there wasn’t much confusion about who he was talking to. He was still staring at Trevor.

The gray sports jacket felt stiff and stretched across his shoulders as he turned his upper body just slightly, fully facing the man addressing him, but was a few seconds too long in replying. If he opened his mouth now, the whole room would be listening. Introducing himself no longer required having his body displayed, though; he remembered that so he didn’t step away from his space by the wall. “Hello,” he replied clearly in a deep basso voice. “I’m Trevor.” For now anyway; once again. He was Trevor. The thought made him straighten with unexpected relief.

Anya continues to behave herself, holding her thoughts back from being spoken aloud because she chooses to exert control rather than because she has any real desire to. But although she is outwardly well-behaved, she cannot resist smirking as the dog-boy introduces himself, and as Keegan continues to not very subtly attempt to edge closer to the counselor- James. Looking again between everyone, Anya wonders to herself exactly how much authority and control James has and how long he will be able to keep it before she, or several of them together, usurp it.

Her eyes sliding to Evan again, seeing his excitement even though she is no longer touching him, she smiles, then stretches, briefly and casually resting her hand on his leg for a few moments before removing it. But in that space of time she is touching him, her fingertip quickly traces out two words against his pant leg. "After class." If he didn't catch it, she'd certainly spell it out more plainly when this little meeting was up.

Beside James, Keegan smiles, scooting her chair still closer to him, almost brushing her shoulder against his. "James...I like that," she tells him, her voice lowered in an attempt to sound "sexy." "That's a really cool name."

This one, Anya can't resist shooting down. "That's the most common name in America...what's so cool about it? The fact that it belongs to a guy whose bones you want to jump?"

Emily stayed silent, listened closely, and the only thing she really learnt was she really hated Anya. It annoyed her that people too to that attitude so well. That and she weren’t so badly off. Standing she brushed off her pants before heading towards the door. She paused to smile at them all. “You know . . . I think I had problems . . . then I met you guys.” Her eyes mainly focused on Anya when saying this. “Compared to some of you and your self esteem issues I may as well be normal, least I can stand up for myself and face what I am. I came here for help not some banter or insults. I came here because what I felt wasn’t sure . . . sheesh I would have more luck talking to a bunch of kids on the playground. Good luck.”

Jupiter looked at the floor, taking Emily's words rather hard. She didn't have problems, right? But maybe she was wrong. Still she felt like she had just been slapped. A rage tried to well up in her. Anger that this girl, who ever she was didn't know what she was talking about. She didn't know her or her problems and she had no right to say that they were worse than her either or that they were stupid or whatever. But she couldn't find the anger she wanted.

Jupiter knew she was wrong for the way she felt. For what she did. Maybe she truly was a sinner and going to Hell. Tears sprung up but she blinked them away. No, that girl was wrong. Well sort of. She did think that this was not going the way she thought it would be.

Evan just shrugged as Emily left. Her words meant nothing to him. He knew what his issues were and unlike some, he knew he didn't come here to talk about it. It didn't matter anyways.
He didn't matter.

"You have fun talking to those kids, babe. I'm sure they will be most receptive to tales of incest." He then looked at Trevor who got mostly brushed over and nodded at him and waved. He didn't say what his problem was, but Evan had some guesses.

Satsu watched the girl barely known as Emily as she threw a temper and left mid meeting. Rolling her eyes at the girl with spunk giving up so quick and easily she glanced to the door then James. Did that bastard just smile at her? A realization hit her, the bastard was in her head and she already knew what she was going to do. Shaking her head as she stood Satsu excused herself and followed Emily outside, realizing that she didn't get all that far when she made her grand exit. “I pegged you for having more guts than that” she let her presence be known as she leaned against the outside exterior. She wouldn't speak again until the other acknowledged her by a glance or some sort of response.

I'll let you in on a secret. James lets that type say what they wanna say to let the kids like you toughen up. It's what one may call tough love. But for the ones that got issues that most don't accept, it's a hard lesson learned that you need to get by. If you can't handle negative feedback in a safe environment then you sure as hell can't take it in the real world. You obviously came here for a reason, and it's not like there's other places lining up to take you, so why don't you go back in and accept that everyone got their own issues and that some ******* are just straight up *******. Hell you look like you know a thing or two about being a ***** yourself” she smiled at this, a part of her pondering the two girls fighting it out, but still a part of her wanted this kid to go back in to get the help and growth that Taboo had to offer. Damn that James for making her a softie, damn him for being able to get inside of her head when she couldn't return the favor.

Joan didn't understand why that girl had to have been such a *****, but she was a bit distracted by Anya's biting comments about, well, everyone. She seemed to want to be center stage with her incessant comments. Maybe she got off on being the center of attention as well. Still she didn't really think that all her words were correct. She couldn't be sure if her "anal" comment meant she thought Andy was gay as well, which might not be the case, or if it would just a comment based on her wanting to be a guy. It seemed more the former.

"Are you implying that Andy is gay," she asked, thinking maybe it wouldn't be best to make an enemy out of Anya, but not able to stop due to her curiosity. "Because gender identity and sexual orientation are two separate things. Unless you are as stupid as you look."

Charles rolled his eyes. Why were some of them even trying? He decided that the best course was to ignore Anya and well everyone. Or at least not participate. He was sympathetic to the others problems, but he wasn't one for sharing. After all there was nothing wrong with him. He watched Emily go and then someone follow and repressed a sigh. When would this be over?

Emily just winked and saluted Trevor for his comment. If they all took offense than that was their own problem, after all she did use the word some. That in itself was more out of the politeness to cover up the few who really did have issues in her head. Exiting was easy, and she was about to get her freedom until someone actually followed her? Great . . . but who knows maybe they wised up as well and say the stupidity that was happening before them.

The comment was what got her to turn around with a smile and a laugh. “You really don’t get it do you? That shit isn’t going to help anyone.” She shrugged. “People go to fix stuff that isn’t really wrong with them, that others just claim to be wrong. Sure if you cause other harms you should worry, but why care what others say or do to rule you’re life. Look I know it was wrong for me to go there and not care if I was fixed, hell not see the need to be fix. I just . . . it’s hard when you ******* love someone who will never feel the same way.”

Emily merely rolled her eyes when tough love was mentioned. “I grew up with tough love, I’m not someone to ******* hide the fact I like him. I even tried all types to get over him, males, females, and everything. He’s just what’s stuck on my mind. I’m not ashamed of it, I don’t care what people say about me even. It’s that so call tough love that’s crap. It’s the fact people allow it and don’t do shit about it. If you want tough love let me ******* shove a broken glass bottle in her. She likes causing pain but doesn’t like getting it, well maybe the ***** needs to learn that causing it ends up receiving it in other ways. But no I can’t do that shit, can’t do real justices, and I’m not one to tear down others, like I said had enough of that all my life. You don’t know how much I want to go in there and tell all the idiots to just **** off. That hell, so you like dead things that don’t mean you’re a freak, you have your fun with what works. So you have an imaginary friend, cool beans most kids do as well. Good for you, you’ll never be lonely. Instead they let that . . . don’t you get it? The only thing wrong is when it hurts others unwillingly. The judgments the placing laws cause society thinks its so high and mighty it has that right. That shit right there is what’s wrong, not you guys.”

Anya laughs, raising a hand in a lazy wave as Emily heads towards the world. "Little hint, Gwen-cest, kids on the playground probably ain't up for your tales of brother lovin'. Hint two: if you think this is bad, what do you think the rest of the world is going to do to you? You can say whatever you want to me, and I'm not running out the door. Hell, I'll probably think more of you. Because above all? This is supposed to be a place of honesty. You can't handle that, maybe you SHOULD take off."

She looks around at the others briefly as if to say that they should consider the same before settling back into her seat, watching the interactions again. What some of the others are thinking isn't far from the truth; Anya is feeding off the negative emotions and energy that she herself has helped stir up.

When Satsu left the room after Emily, Anya raised an eyebrow, curious. Was her kindred soul of sorts going out to dig further into her, having Emily all to herself? She almost wanted to get up and eavesdrop, but that would be revealing entirely too much interest in Emily personally, so Anya remained seated.

As Joan snaps at her, Anya turns towards her lazily, shrugging one shoulder. "Excuse me for not being up on the latest with that kind of thing. The stupid thing, that one I can't subscribe to. Believe it or not, you're looking at forerunner for class valedictorian. You on the other hand, you done much research on the kind of diseases you can get f***ing the dead?"

Keegan, meanwhile, seeing an opportunity, immediately stands up with every intention of following Emily out the door. "I'm going too!" she announces hastily as she heads to join her.

Some acknowledgement was directed towards him, but the tension in the room was too high for them to be willing to move away from the locus. The blond girl with strong body language was keeping the strings well in hand; she would make a poor dominant and Trevor thought—felt—that engaging with her would be a bad idea. He didn’t blame the girl with ragged blond hair for her frustration and departure, so he didn’t react to her crossing his space. When the second girl followed he tensed a little but calmed himself with a quick exhale. Maybe Luke was onto something; his suggestions and ideas were making more sense and seemed to be working.

Feeling a little surer of his footing and his grip on humanity, Trevor took a step away from the wall. Tipping his head back a little with his gaze aimed towards no one particular, he asked, “Is there any purpose to so many sharp words?” He didn’t speak very loud, but the low, chesty nature of his voice carried easily in comfortable spaces. There was a brief pause as he shifted his weight back a little, and drew stability from the grounded stance. “The real world has driven us here; does a ‘safe place’ need to be more of the same?” Trevor kept his tone as even as he could and didn’t speak to anyone specific. If they chose to ignore him, he could live with that.

I never said what people come in for is wrong. But honestly if they're gonna be in the real world with whatever brings them here then they will need to be able to handle some negativity about it. No one said about fixing you, this damn group is run to support whatever decision you make. You would know that if you stayed instead of running away because it's too much to handle.” Satsu let Emily go on about tough love and trying to get over her own brother. She didn't understand the sentiment, loving someone and not being able to get over them. Being stuck on someone, it seemed somewhat trivial. But when she started cursing and talking about shoving a broken glass bottle in Anya, Satsu cracked a smile. “That I have to see” let her interpret what she wanted from her sentence, but honestly Satsu didn't think this girl had it in her to be so violent. She could be wrong, but not everyone was capable of a higher violence and this girl didn't fit the bill in her mind.

If you want to tell them off then just do it. Don't run away. F*cking face them and tell people what you want to say. If that's what you feel then counter what she says with your own words.” Satsu leaned against the bricked wall watching the other, wondering just how much she understood, yet had yet to learn. This girl had a different way of thinking, yet seemed afraid to speak out loud. This was something Satsu could change. “Come on back inside, the meeting is half over, I'm sure you can stand that much longer in there, and if you actually speak up you might come to find friends and enjoy the rest of your time, perhaps maybe even want to come back next time...” she gave a smile as she turned around and went for the door. She would wait a minute for her response by either movement or words and would give her a smile and head in if she was coming back in, or shrug and say “Your loss” and enter without another word if she decided to give up.

As Keegan goes to exit out the front door, she brushes past Satsu rather rudely, not bothering to look up at her to say excuse me. Head held high, shoulders taut, mouth drawn into an angry line, she stomps forward, deliberate emphasis put into each footstep, chin jutting out as though she is daring someone to follow her, perhaps even challenging them to. And a part of her is doing exactly that. Keegan feels hostility towards the majority of people she has met so far, especially that blonde bigmouthed girl...but that doesn't mean that part of her doesn't want them to want her, to call her back and ask her to stay. Though she doesn't look at Satsu or Emily, and does not care about them logically, she nevertheless hopes they will stop her.

Inside the room the three have exited, Anya leans back comfortably in her chair, her eyes shifting slowly and unconcernedly towards Trevor, who has just voiced his disapproval of her practice. In response, she lets her lips curve yet again into a smirk, barely turning her head in his direction. Who was he, a hippie, a beatnik, a pacifist? He was in the wrong friggin' room if he thought the people here were supposed to be NICE.

"World hasn't driven me anywhere that I haven't steered my own self...this isn't just a room of victims here, you know, that's not what the group is for those of you who are misinformed. This isn't about being sadsacks or unwanted or whatever sad sorry tales you got, it's about having something about you that everyone in the "normal" world thinks is wrong or stupid or totally out there. If yours makes you a victim, whatever, that doesn't mean the shoe fits everyone's foot."

She raised an eyebrow, sitting up straight as she looked each person in the eye deliberately, her gaze seeming to see through them to the thoughts beneath. Whether or not this was actually true, it was designed to cause them to squirm. "What you call my "harsh words" or whatever is my taboo, so if it's your safe place to be your own freaky self then it's mine too. So you can either deal, or you can't. But if you're not changing or hiding? You bet your ass I'm not."

She full out grinned then, slowly leaning back again. "Because I'm way comfortable here."

Jupiter would rather not watch the drama that was already unfolding. It seemed that not everyone wanted to be here. Jupiter herself felt it would be better to just go. She wouldn't have to put up with anyone's judgment nor listen to any of the harsh words exchanged around the room. Two people had already left, well three really. She had expected Keegen to go the moment she started to make a fuss.

Jupiter wondered about one of the girls who had left the room. She had not really spoken in front of the group or not that she was aware of. She did arrive late. Jupiter chewed her lower lip. She'd get just as much for leaving as she would for staying, but something kept her to her chair. It was easier being in his room she found. She was a sinner out there. She was hated and she did wrong things. She was still a sinner in this room, but she was not alone here. Others with similar problems surrounded her, even if they weren't all pleasant. Jupiter did not want to go. Yet.

She looked at Trevor and gave him a small smile. "Just ignore her if she bothers you. If she wants to run her mouth, then let her." Jupiter wouldn't lie. She didn't like the things that Anya was saying, but it seemed futile to get her to stop.

Evan on the other hand was quite enjoying himself. He looked around and then smiled to himself. This group was a mess, but Anya had a point. He looked at her once she was finish with her mini little speech, then spoke himself.

"She's right. I didn't come here for a safe environment. Quite the contrary. I came because I wanted to seek out what I sought. If that is a problem then well, tough." Evan shrugged. Maybe deep down he felt ashamed for seeking out someone to hurt him, but this was what he wanted. He knew he deserved the pain and he longed for it as well.
