Emily actually glares coldly at Sastu, before trying to shove the girl aside and head inside. She didn’t know what happened between her walk outside and coming back. That didn’t matter. If no one stopped her she would head right up to face Anya, pull an arm back and aim to give the ***** the biggest shiner she could muster. “The world is harsh *****.” She would say either way. “Get used to it . . . if this is tough love, then you need to ******* expect to get the crap beat out of you if you keep up the way you do.”
Sure she noticed the other leave that was good for the other, sure she didn’t seem to be glancing at anyone else, sure she knew she was probably going to be kicked out of the group. But hell if she managed to pull off that punch, a punch that probably held years of mocking and resentment towards her from her past . . . if she could pull that off even a night or two in a cell would be worth it. “Watch who and how you talk about people. You won’t always be protected.” She warned her if the hit landed or not.
