Sword Art Online [Inactive]

Mercedes was too busy in another world (a female touch can do this to you) that it had to take a bunch of blood red glowing hexagons that read 'warning' to fill up the sky to get him to snap out of it. "Wha--? Is the game having issues? Is there a virus in the system? Gah don't tell me the game's going to be delayed! Oh I saw this movie called Summer Wars-" he was interrupted by a gross blood-like red substance that began to pour from the sky and begin to take form...

The bloody redness took formation as a person, at least the outline of a person. They were wearing a red cloak and they spread their arms open wide.

"I.. Don't ever remember this in the Beta..." She says warily, unaware of the upcoming events. She grasped Mercedes arm a bit tighter, kind of afraid of the giant thing in the cloak.

He shoved people down in the crowd, acting superior over them. Afraid and pathetic. "Come out, oh Godly Master of this world. Show yourself!"

Avery shuddered, this was getting really creepy to her, and probably everyone else too. The red stuff took form of a large person. "Is this just a really weird way to introduce the creator?" She asked, even though she was sure that couldn't be it. This was too dramatic for that.

Nicholas sat there his full helm unequipped viewing the display in pure awe. He watched as the crowds went insane and a familiar figure played the fool challenging the powerful entity. He was waiting for what this entity had in store for all of us.

"Attention players. Welcome to my world. My name is Kayaba Akihiko. As of this moment, I am the sole person who can control this world... I'm sure you've already noticed that the logout button is missing from the main menu. But this is not a defect in the game. I repeat... This is not a defect in the game. It is a feature of Sword Art Online. You cannot log out of SAO yourselves. And no one on the outside can shut down or remove the NerveGear. Should this be attempted, the transmitter inside the NerveGear will emit a powerful microwave destroying your brain and thus ending your life...." He said as multiple people began crying out for what was going on and happening.

"Unfortunately, several players' friends and family have ignored this warning, and have attempted to remove the NerveGear. As a result, two hundred and thirteen players are gone forever, from both Aincrad and the real world..." Then appeared various news reports and images around him.

"As you can see, news organizations across the world are reporting all of this, including the deaths. Thus, you can assume that the danger of a NerveGear being removed is now minimal. I hope you will relax and attempt to clear the game. But I want you to remember this clearly. There is no longer any method to revive someone within the game. If your HP drops to zero, your avatar will be forever lost. And simultaneously, the NerveGear will destroy your brain..."

"There is only one means of escape. To complete the game...." He then explained how you had to clear all 100 floors in order to beat the game...

"Finally, I've added a present from me to your item storage. Please see for yourselves."
Then everyone went into their inventory to find a mirror. This mirror then showed the actual person in real life when they looked into it. Their avatar had changed into their actual selves. Yuchi however practically remained the exact same.

"Right now, your probably wondering, 'Why?' Why would Kayaba Akihiko, developer of Sword Art Online and NerveGear, do all this?' My goal has already been achieved. I created Sword Art Online for one reason... To create this world and intervene in it. And now, it is complete. This ends the tutorial for the official Sword Art Online launch. Good luck, players." And with those last words uttered, he dissipated into thin air, vanishing with red smoke... The sky cleared of the red warnings and now everything looked normal... However nobody said anything yet. They all just stood there...

(I WENT TO EPISODE ONE AND GOT THIS! YOU BETTER THANK ME HOWEVER I DIDNT TYPE THE DIALOGUE FROM THE 100 FLOOR THING BECAUSE LAZY... All this typed down in only 15 minutes... RECORD)

Mercedes stared in silence, even the great touch of woman couldn't help him right now.

He was now his old self, tall and thin with no muscle, skin that lacked sunlight but not totally pale. dull blue eyes, a messy mop of curly black hair. And he had to live with this...or die.

Die.

He would die if his health points reached 0

He sucked at video games!

Austine was an ass, surely he would pull off the helmet...

He was now a loser in the d*ck-wad virtual world, with the looks of a former teenage loser and he was going to die a shameful death. He knew this. And he fell to his knees and like the manly man he had proven to be for the last hour...he began to cry.

Duncan stood there in shock. As soon as his brain processed the news his hand began to shake.

He tried not to cry. He tried to keep calm. He tried to look tough so that Snow and Cassie didn't think he was a coward. But he failed to do so. The tears began to roll down Duncan's face. The news were too much for him to take. He felt nausea and great panic.

"N-no....this c-can't be happening...." He whispered.

As Mercury fell to his knees and started crying, Yuchi bent down to try and cheer him up.

"Mercury? Everything is okay, don't cry, we just have to clear the game." She said with the same kind smile and sparkling eyes. She then stood straight and put her hands into fists. Raising them into the air, she was the only one who cheered.

"YES!!! WHOO!!!" She shouted out loudly as heads looked over in her direction... Sure she was sad for those who wanted to go back, and she would help then defeat the game. However, this idea was amazing and she had always contemplated life inside of a cool MMO game, really, who hasn't?

"Try not to be sad.. I'll be here for you okay?" She said as she looked down at the crying boy.

Nicholas changed to his real life image, but the only thing that happened a is that his hair shifted a bit to the right. He didn't feel cursed he felt like this was a gift a life inside a world that had something to it. His bland stare in the air reverted to Yuchi as she let out her cry of hope. A smile began to build on his face as he equipped his helmet once more and began to make his way from the chaotic bundle of cry babies. He was quite intimidated by permanent death, but that could happen at any time in real life. He was on the way to his last location expecting the quest to be valid and every shop to be selling now.

Hoshiko looked at herself. She was pretty much the same since she didn't want to risk anything with creepers. She looked and saw Lefions falling to the ground and crying. Hoshiko couldn't help snickering, "Nya nya, you're crying~" she teased and stuck her tongue out at him, "but seriously, relax. There are tons of people! If all of us band together we can totally get out of here!" Hoshiko made a thumbs up.

(My glasses! I can't rp without my glasses! ;~; ...Ah screw it, i'll squint)

This woman was crazy. She was all up for this...but, I guess, looking up at her she didn't see it all bad. Her looks didn't change a pixel. I mean, I don't really care about staying here in this world. It's still a fresh job without work and high school but it was still scary.

"I can't fight..."

"What if Austine removes the helmet off my head?"

"And I'm not the blonde hunk of dreamboat anymore...I'm pathetic old me," he sobbed. "That's the worst of it all!" Yuichi, she must really be forcing herself to be friendly with him now. Pity, defiantly. But as soon as somebody else came along, she's sure to drop me off and run away. She was all for that blonde hunk of dreamboat I once was! I know it!

Now... my hair isn't blonde and looks like it's been soaked in neutrogena. My skin doesn't look as if it's been kissed by the sun gods. My Muscles have been deflated and my deep voice has lowered to my crummy 16 year old one.

Avery stood there, she had no reaction at all, except for pure hatred for the creator of this game and shock that it was possible that she would die. She shuddered, this time more heavily than the other times. "W-What does this guy mean? We're trapped! This has to be a terrible trick or something!" she yelled, even though something told her that the game was the trick in the first place. She had felt no need to look in the mirror, as her avatar had been created to look like her, as she wasn't so desperate to try and fool someone over the Virtual Reality, but still, the changes of the others were enough to make her scared, the fear everyone else had seeping into her, and yet she stood still.

Duncan slowly began to stand up. He cleaned the tears off his face and looked at Cassie. His real self was much younger than his avatar. "How can you be so calm right now?...". Most of the other player had left or were leaving the center. Only a handful of people remained in the center.

"I'll train you." She said simply as she pulled you up from off the ground.

"With all the hype happening in the real world about the NerveGear, I'm sure nobody will remove our helmets."

"And don't worry about being yourself, I'm not interested in anybody who acts like they are the best. I already figured that most of the players here buffed out their avatars, but that's no reason to not like the person underneath them."
She says with a smile. Yuchi then put her hands up on your shoulders.

"See, your still taller than me... Now, I know a lot about what to do in this game. Are you going to come with me, or are you going to stay in the Town of Beginnings?" She asked seriously, her pink eyes looking into your blue ones.

...Looking around, teary eyed and trying to form proper thoughts, staying around in the Town of Beginnings is the safest thing he could do. But... would he regret it later on? And would just sitting there wasting away in the virtual world make him depressed. Maybe Austine won't remove the helmets and if he did there was nothing he could do about it even if he chose to stay in the battle of beginnings or venture off into the game and try to complete it. What did those annoying preps use to say all the time...yolo? Uck, he still hated that word but yeah...basically that. He looked down at Yuchi, her face serious waiting for his answer. She's the only person he had here. He doesn't remember any of his few friends from the real saying anything about joining the game. The ones who did like video games couldn't even get their hands on this. Mercedes just won this game from a chance drawing, as lucky as he was. Though...reality turned out to be a royal b*tch in the end.

"I....I'll stay with you..." He mumbled softly, still upset. "If you'll have me that is. I may get in the way honestly." No sense in lying anymore, he already lied enough as it is.

"Don't worry about getting in my way.." She said mischievously...

"And of course I'll have you. Now come on, we're burning daylight..." She said with a grin, taking her party member's hand and dragging him along. The two jogged past the group of three, Cassie, Avery, and Leafion, until they reached the outskirts of the Town of beginnings. (Pulling a Kirito here xD )

"We should get over to the next town as soon as we can..." She says, stopping a moment for the two to catch their breath.

"From there we can get the stronger creatures and drops before anyone else. I'll train you to fight once we get there, but I'm in serious need of leveling either my actual level, or even my skills..." She said as she contemplated a moment, still holding your hand, as if to make sure you don't run off like a coward.

Hoshiko watched the girl and guy pass them, "Hey, you two, they're passing us! We've gotta go and get them!" she said angrily and ran behind them, "Hey, you think you can pass us, chumps!?" Hoshiko asked angrily with her hands on her hips.

Any other time Mercedes would be in some strange sexual touch by the extravagant female race heaven by given the liberty to hold such an adorable girl's hand but right now Mercedes wasn't paying much attention to the fine details.

He was breathing heavily from all the nonstop running that he was defiantly not used to. Physical ability must've been programmed into the game too. What a b!tch.

"Wha--? but shouldn't we start fighting the ones here though? I'm a level one. This is the first time I even stepped out from a safe zone...." his face went deep red from embarrassment. "I haven't even touched my weapon yet..." he whispers that last part.

But before Yuchi could say anything another voice is heard from behind them.

"Hey, you two, they're passing us! We've gotta go and get them!"

Mercedes turned around and watched as another cute girl ran behind them, but she wasn't happy "Hey, you think you can pass us, chumps!?" asked angrily with her hands on her hips.

"Wha...?" Strange is there some kind of stupid rules of modesty in this game or something? Damn i should have read that manual! Can you get reported on this game!? He gasped. What if characters who are reported get a death penalty!?

"huh?" She said as she turned around towards the girl that ran towards them.

"I.. Think I can, yes.." She said tilting her head a bit to the side idiotically.

"I'm Yuchi... Who are you?" She asked with a smile, introducing herself.

Avery shook her head, partly to wear off the shock and partly at Cass' statement. "Cass, wait! You shouldn't just confront them like that!" she yelled, not aware that she was conflicting herself. She cringed at what Cass was doing, although it wasn't a lie if Avery said she'd suddenly confronted people like that before.

Duncan shook off his sadness and then stood up. The only thing that kept him from crying was the fact that deep down he thought that everything the creator said wasn't true. That it was all just a lie to make the experience better. He would cling to that idea as long as he was inside SAO. He rubbed his eyes with his hands to clean the remaining tears and then he followed Cassie and Snow. He noticed what was going on and stepped forward with a small smile. "Let them be Cassie, they haven't done anything bad to us."

"Umm..." Yuchi said while she looked at the party request.

"I'm kind of busy heading to the next town with the person I'm already in a party with.. So.." She says, awkwardly motioning towards Mercury...
