"And the funny thing is that he actually cried when I broke up with me seemed that he really loved me too bad I didn't love him" She thinks for a second "I think today we have the supplies for your favorite sweet so while we're in there I'll make it for you"

"Hey, Danny!" She said cheerfully, pulling out a seat far enough for her to sit down. "Ken, come on, sit down. sit." She motions for Ken to sit, rushing him into his seat. Val then turns to the food, delicious and ready to eat. Her favorite kind. "So I'm assuming this is on you?" she questions Daniel playfully, "If you need me to pitch in, I've got a few bucks. By the way, this is my brother, Kenneth."


Kenneth


Ken shyly walked behind his sister, obviously not used to this loud, clustered environment. He spots the food, and barely has time to look at anything else, except when Val ushered him to sit, and now when she intruduces him to her friend. "Hello, I'm Ken." He says shyly, holding his hand out in place. He thinks, 'Please, dear god, please have him shake my hand so I don't look stupid..'

Chuckling at Val's comment, he looks to Kenneth and shakes his hand. "It's awesome to meet you, Ken" Daniel says, before releasing Ken's hand. Looking towards Val he smirks, "nah, it's on me, babe" he replies grabbing his bag he takes out spare forks and spoons passing one each to Val and Ken. "Enjoy" he says tucking into the pasta in front of him, "how are your days going?" He asks them both.

"Me next!" Kellan exclaimed. Letting Kier go she hopped onto the bin then the roof. Turning on her heels she watched Kier from her perch on the edge of the roof. "Come on slowpoke!"


Kier


She's lucky I'm fond of her. Rolling his eyes Kier followed the two girls up the bin and onto the roof. Flicking Kellan on the forehead as he passed her he headed toward a slightly shaded area next to a taller portion of the roof. Settling down he began getting the junk food out of his bag and into a pile for easy reach. Looking up at Kellan he teasingly stuck his tongue out at her. "Who's the slow poke now?"


Kellan


Rolling her eyes Kellan joined Kier and began spreading out her own food. A small pan of cold cut sandwiches, a large salad, a canister of soup, and a large two litter soda. Her mother was well aware of their lunch ritual so also made sure to pack extra bowls and canister of soup for any who desires it. Licking her lips as her stomach growled she waved toward Raven. "Come on!"

She watched the pair climb up onto the roof, taking a drag of her cigarette. Kellan seemed to have a routine, setting out her food on the roof top, an all manner of foods. Raven joined them setting her bag down and pulling out a wrap wrapped in clingfilm, she took another drag of her cigarette making sure to blow the smoke away from them both. Rooting in her bag she took out her phone and a small music player, sticking on her music from her phone, The Pretty Reckless were her favourite band. Blasting out the music she glanced at Kier and Kellan, "hope you don't mind, I need background noise" she smiled lying down on the roof. "What's the deal with you two then? You together?" she asked, putting her cigarette in her mouth.

Kier


Yawning as his usual mid day tiredness set in Kier shuffled some sandwiches and salad onto his plate before grabbing the extra canister and leaning back against the wall. Ignoring the girls he focused on eating. He was midway through when Ravens questions registered and he was sent chocking. Drowning some of the two liter to clear his throat he leaned back again with a relieved sigh. Shooting Raven a glare for the choking he allowed Kellan to explain their strange relationship.


Kellan


Us together? Glancing back at Kier as she heard his choking fit she snorted. Turning back to Raven she shook her head. "Nah, we are just friends. Siblings really. Even if Kier denies having any fondness for me. Plus I prefer dudes that don't sleep a day and though Kier doesn't dislike females in a romantic sense he prefers males. We have just known each other long enough to get a routine up and be comfortable around each other. "

"Die quietly, Kier" she teased looking back at him with a wink. Her eyes moved back to Kellan as she spoke, "that's cool. Thought I should ask.. Aw, I am sure Kier loves you very much in a friendship way" she said, taking another drag of her cigarette. "You two always lived in Llyn?" she asked taking a bite out of her wrap.

Rolling his eyes at the playful jab Kier scrapped up the last of his salad. Picking up his sandwich he pushed his bowl away. Shaking his head he answered her. "Na, only until I was twelve. Lived in Chicago until then. "


Kellan


Snorting at the jab toward Kier Kellan leaned back against the wall. Picking up the canister she opened it and went about pouring the soup into a bowl as she answered. "I've only lived here for the last eight years. Before that I lived in Peoria. I have to say it may have not been as boring as this place but I'm glad we moved. It was going to he'll in a hand basket. What about you?"

"Cool, cool" she said taking the last drag of her cigarette, she chucked it aside and off the roof. Raven glanced over at Kellan before sitting up, "nah, city girl. I lived in New York with my parents, me and my dad moved here when I was twelve" she uttered running a hand through her hair. Raven grabbed her wrap and ate the last few bites.

Morgan


"It wish I saw his face." Morgan muttered. "I'll help you." she said excitedly, keeping cation of letting go of Jasmine. "I'm glad to have you as a friend." Morgan said placing her head on the girl's shoulder.

Nodding Kellan ate some of her chicken noodle soup and sandwich. It was really good. Turning her attention back to Raven she enquired. "What's New York like? I bet it's more interesting then this place. Is there really alligators in the subways? Or rats the size of horses?"

Jamie went through the rest of the day, but he could not get Aali out of his mind.


He found himself watching his phone, hoping for a text, anything from Aali.


After leaving his sister at school since she was tutoring.


Starting up the car, he drove for home, his eyes floating to his phone..

Sarah had spent the rest of the day putting together an overall plan for how the tutorials would work to get Dani's grades back up.


She was sitting in the library looking over her notes. Once she was sure she had everything ready for the study session, she


decided to work on her own work for a while. Switching her phone to silent as she did keeping it in front of her so she could see

She smiles and digs into the food to finally eat the wonders of the canteen. "I've been fine. Work is a pain, but not much to worry about. Whenever you want, I could give you a haircut." Val winks at Daniel and motions her fingers like scissors.

His sister's flirting is getting out of hand... he thinks, "she's graduated for God's sake!" Though he only smiles and pretends to laugh in a very low tone. He looks to Daniel to change the scene off the flirting, "Um..I'm sick right now, actually. So I'm not at school. Do we go to the same school? I, uh, haven't seen you around." keep your cool, Ken... Kenneth then takes a fork-full of food and stuffs his mouth so he doesn't have to talk, followed by "Ew! You're so gross, Ken!" from Valentine.

"Interesting for sure, but no giant rats or crocodiles" she answered with a laugh. Raven's mind wandered to her memories of the city, the memories of her mother. "If you ever have the chance to go there take it, you won't regret it. As soon as I can I'm moving there" she said with a smile.

"Seen as we're sat in the same cateen in the same school, I think that's a pretty big sign we go to the same school" he teased with a laugh. His eyes moved back to Val, "what're you up to tonight?" He asked, "I wanted to see if you wanted to hit the town".

Well that's a Shame. Resisting the urge to pout Kellan sighed. Taking another bite of her soup she nodded. "I can understand why. This place must be pretty boring compared to New York. "

"It's... plainer" she chuckled. "There's so much life in the city, in the people, the buildings, the atmosphere. There's so much going on" she said thinking about what she remembered. "It's okay here.. I just, there's not enough variety" Raven shrugged.

Hearing Kayth's answer, he looked back at the lane and saw disappointed faces from those who probably got the same as Kayth. "At least you got something.." he laughed. "By the way, we just got enrolled today and the principal said to look around the place...and this is our class..." he said feeling the paper in his pant's pocket. "Here...do you know where that is?" he asked. (You could just invent or maybe they could be classmates)

She continued eating while all ears to their conversation. I would like to be classmates with them or at least one of them, she thought. Of course, Tetsu is fine with me but...she thought contradicting herself. She gulped down her juice to clear her thoughts.

Nodding in sympathy Kellan reflected on her own past with a busy place. Peoria was much more busy then the suburbs. Usually because there was ton of crime. "Yea it really is plainer. Makes you long for someplace more busy and entertaining. Heck, I would take Arkansas over this place. At least there you can go swimming or ride horses. "

The teen shrugged, "it'll do for now. It's safe.. I guess. We'll just all have to make our own fun, bonfire parties, ghost hunts, stuff life that" she said lying back down on the roof. "There's always something to do"

"Yea, I guess. " Kellan agreed nodding. She paused when an idea hit her lips curling in a smile. Pushing away her finished bowl she leaned forward eagerly. "Why don't you join Kier and I? We are going to that old haunted house by the oak tree tomorrow."

"More like I'm being dragged to the creepy place. " Kier muttered. Ignoring Kellans answering eye roll he took a bite of his sandwich. Swallowing he looked up at them. "Why don't we invite some other people along to? There must be other kids to bored to have anything else to do. So why not bring them for the scaring entertainment. "

Kayth sat down and grimaced at his food. He looked up and skimmed through the classes on the list. "That's my next class. I'll walk with you two there after lunch." Kayth said looking down at his food once again, picking up his fork and poking at what he thought was a brownie. "Do they just make it this bad for the people in the back of the line?" Kayth questioned before dropping his fork in the 'food'.

"Well I'm sick so I shouldn't be in any school.." Ken clears his throat, digs into his pocket, and pulls out a cough drop. He pulls at the ends to unroll the cough drop and pops it in his mouth.

Val smiled, "Tonight? Hmm, well I was just going to take a shower... but town sounds fun." She takes another bite of her food and licks at the sauce around her lips. "I really missed this stuff."
