Realistic or Modern Surviving The Suburbs

Darian

Hit Me!
"Have you ever lived in the suburbs? It's sterile. It's nothing. It's wasting your life." - Ed Koch

That's how the kids of a town called Llyn feel about where they live. The suburbs. Somewhere they long to escape. They feel trapped. Bored.

Basically, the RP would be about a group of teenagers that live in the suburbs and what what they do. Parties, school, fights, hookups, fighting with parents, breaking into abandoned houses and farms, entertaining themselves because if they don't they'll go crazy.

Mallory

Mallory sat on the cold ground next to her car, her jeans doing nothing to keep the cold away. Her hands shook as she lit her cigarette, she hated gloves. She would be sitting in her car but it didn't have heat either, she had ment to fix it over the summer but never got around to it. She glanced behind her at the school and the streams of people walking quickly, getting out of the November cold. She would have to go into the school soon too, but she was always a few minutes late to first period. The teacher stopped caring after a few weeks and as long as she shows up within the first five minutes he won't get her in trouble. She was still dreading walking into the building though. A full day of dealing with the other people while she was sleep deprived and just annoyed in general. Mallory pushed herself off the ground, almost tripped on her untied laces and opened her car backup to look in the mirror. She was tempted to just drive away, not go to school. "You have an important test today, Mallory." She said out loud. She shook her head and dropped her cigarette onto the ground, tied her shoes, then made her way towards the school, hoping to run into her friends along the way.

Jason

Jason was making his way through the hallway towards his first period. Everyone was already hyped up over the fact that it was friday and they were loud and rowdy, annoying Jason. It was way to early for people to be yelling.

A s a h i

She woke up early at the morning so she would be able to cook them breakfast. She still hasn't gotten used to this place and she;s still wondering why would Tetsu chose this place over the others, since the lifestyle here is very different from what he is used to but still she's thankful and forever will be, that he saved her. after cooking some bacon and egg, she went upstairs to Tetsu's room. Made a gentle knock at the door, "Tetsu? Breakfast is ready..."

T e t s u y a

He heard Asahi's door closed at he looked t the clock, "That's early" seeing 5:30 am. He was worried, well, he's always worried about her. He kept on wondering if she would ever be able to move on from her past. He stood up, and did some push ups (a daily routine of him) just before he could finish the 50th time, he could smell the bacon and egg down stairs. He plopped down the floor, feeling his stomach churn. Then as he anticipated, Asahi knocked.
"Tetsu? Breakfast is ready..." He reached for his glasses at the bedside table then wiped the sweat on his face and opened the door. "Good morning..." he greeted her with a smile.

They ate in silence, then...

T e t s u y a

"Sahi, do you want to study again?" He asked. "There is a school here you know, not far from here and we could go there together or best, we could attend the same class.." He added, with cheerful voice.

A s a h i

She looked up at Tetsu, seeing how excited he is. She didn't thought of that, she's just contented with her life now, with Tetsu. "If you want to..." She said with a faint smile. "I don't want to be alone here, if you go. I'd be happy to go there as long as I'm with you." She added.

T e t s u y a

He knows well what Asahi meant by her words but he can't stop his heart racing. He really likes her and want her to be happy. "Then...It's settled. Let's go out today" he smiled.

Morgan Bluthe

Morgan zipped her sweater up to keep warm and rubbed her hands together as she ran out of her step-brother"s car and into the school building. She sniffled slightly although she was only outside for a minute. Kayth walked in behind her yawning and ruffled her hair before passing her by and going down the hall to the bathroom. She smoothed out her hair and put on a beanie before walking bumping into Mallory and falling over.

Damion Kayth

Kayth locked the car after Morgan ran out and slowly walked into school behind her, heading straight fr the bathroom, fixing my hair before walking out to find Morgn on the floor. I let a small laugh leave my lips before walking towards her.

Mallory

Mallory scowled and stedied herself against the wall. "People should learn how to walk." She muttered, before turning around, but smiled when she realized it was only Morgan and Damion, "Hey guys. You okay, Morgan?" She asked, looking at the girl on the ground.

"Should watch where you're going." I joked shaking my head.

Morgan Bluthe

Morgan quickly jumped up and dusted herself off. "I'm perfectly fine." she muttered before looking up. "How are you this freezing morning, Mallory?" Morgan asked picking up her belongings and fixed the beanie that rested on her head. She glared at Damion as he continued to laugh. "Shut it Kayth." she said before looking bck at Mallory.

Damion Kayth

Damion waved at Mallory and laughed as Morgan got up. He cleared his throat and fell silent for a moment.

Raven Maddock

The chilled air whisked around her as she shoved her way up the steps and inside the school doors. No lighter, no cigarette, Raven had had enough of this day already. She paused to the side of the doorway, rummaging in her bag one last time, hopeful the lighter would miraculously appear. It didn't. With brisk steps she moved toward her locker, slamming in the combination and staring at the dismal interior of the metal rectangle. Empty, she'd forgotten her books.. again. Today was going to be a long day..

Josh Zackary

He found himself in the middle of a push-a-thon on the stairwell to the ground floor, people stumbled and shoved to get towards their first lessons. Josh saw a clearing and dashed through catching up to Daniel. "Thanks for waiting" he muttered, sourly.

Daniel greeted him with a cheery smile, "no problem, brother!" he announced.

Josh walked with Daniel down the hall before splitting off to go to his locker, he stopped spotting Jason walking alone. He waved, "Hey Jason!".

Daniel Zackary

Continuing on alone, Daniel danced his way over to Kayth. Slinging an arm around the other boys shoulders, he grinned. "Good morning, sir!" he beamed.

After eating and dressing up, Asahi and Tetsuya went out the house. Tetsuya asked for directions to where the school would be while Asahi just followed him silently. "People here are friendly, don't you think?" Tetsuya asked. Asahi just nodded, "They are better..." she answered. Tetsuya smiled, and held her hand. "Let's go, check out our new school." He said.

They arrived at their destination and entered the school.

T e t s u y a

"It's bigger than I expected" he said, looking back at Asahi with a smile. "See? things will be better.."

A s a h i

Tetsu was right, it was bigger than we both expected. I'm scared, she thought but then feeling Tetsu's warm hands, made the worries vanish. "I'll make a quick go to the bathroom, tetsu..."

T e t s u y a

"Sure...I'll come with you" he said and walked down the hall with her.

(Be there in a sec, please welcome my charas. Haha)

Jason

Jason turned to Josh and smiled, "Hey man, how's it going?" He hoped that the day would go by faster than the rest of the week, which has been dragging. Jason turned to watch more people coming into school, rushing to get to their first class before the bell, and saw two people looking a bit lost, "You guys need directions?" He asked, deciding to help the two.

Mallory

Thrusting her hands in her pockets she shrugged, "Freezing. They never seem to turn the heat on in this god forsaken place. How about you guys? Ready for this week to be over?"

Kier

"Stop dragging me. Stop dragging me. Stop dragging me." Kier repeated over and over in a bored monotone voice, more out of habit then anything, as he was dragged toward the school and away from his warm car by his spare comforter. He always kept one in his car so he could nap during lunch. He had arrived to school early after his mom kicked him out when she left for work and had been napping when the red headed menace he dared call his friend had ruthlessly dragged him out into the cold world.

Kellan

Cheekily grinning over her shoulder at Kier Kellan shook her head as she continued toward the building. One hand dragging Kier and the other around her pet skull 'Juuzo'. "If I do that we both know you'll go right back to your car and to dreamland."

Kier

I guess she's right. Yawning Kier finally went silent and let himself be dragged. I'll just sleep in class. I just hope the teacher doesn't tell at me again. She is such a drag.

A s a h i

Asahi stopped more like halted, at the sight of a guys (Josh and Jason). Her heart racing wild, she stood there like a statue.

T e t s u y a

"Oh!" he said cheerfully gently gliding in front of Asahi. He smiled at the guy who spoken, "Hi, well...not actually lost. But we don't know where is the bathroom..." he chuckled.

He smiled back, "I'm good thank you" Josh answered Jason, "what about you?". He glanced at the two individuals Jason had spoken too, he didn't recognize them. It was nice to see new faces.

Raven Maddock

As if wishing she had superhuman abilities, Raven stared into the emptiness of her locker before giving up. No matter how hard she tried, a lighter would not appear... the books weren't worth the effort. Slamming her locker shut, she rested against the cold metal.

Morgan

Morgan let out a sigh and watched the fog leave her mouth. "I can see my breath in here." Morgan said pulling her hood over her head. "I wish it was just Saturday already. Even if there is nothing to do there's still no school."

Kayth

Kayth looked at the other boy and smiled. "Morning Daniel." he answered pushing the boy's arm off his shoulder.

Mallory

She nodded, "Speaking of nothing to do I was thinking that we should all take a trip into the city? Sneak into the ice skating rink or something." She had been watching a movie last night about ice skaters and had suddenly felt the urge to be on ice herself, even though the last time she went ice skating she could barely walk, much less move around on a blade. The hallway around them was emptying as the bell rang, but Mallory didn't move from her spot where she was leaning against the wall, not wanting to walk all the way upstairs for class.

Jason

He shrugged in answer to Josh's question, "Ya know, as good as I can get I guess." He said, smiling. He then turned the guy in front of him, "The bathrooms? If you turn down the first hallway, down there," he stretched his arm and pointed behind him, "they're will be a sign. I'm Jason." He said, introducing himself, "And this is Josh." He gestured to his friend beside him.

Morgan

Morgan tilted her head in confusion and looked around the empty hallway. "That doesn't sound like a bad idea." she said adjusting the strap of her bag. "We could go now but if you want to do later talk to me at lunch. I can't be late to class again." Morgan said patting her back and hurriedly making her way to class before the bell rang.

Tetsuya followed Jason's hand. He doesn't want to go circling just for a bathroom trip. "Thank you, I'm Tomori Tetsuya, and this is Takada Asahi..." He introduced. "Nice to meet you" He bowed and so did Asahi, slowly and surely not making any eye contact with the strangers. :I'm sure will be meeting like this in the future..." he chuckled.

(I'll be in after three hours or so. Need to go to class, I'll try to follow, please don't left me out so much. Thanks, tc guys~)

Kellan

Why do they force kids to go to school? Probably as an excuse to give our parents some free time. Placing Juuzo gently in her locker Kellan gathered her algebra book quickly before picking him back up. Slamming the locker shut she adjusted her hold so one arm held her both before lashing out with a carefully aimed automatic pencil at Kier who was leaning against the lockers napping. She felt victorious as he yelped and fell to the floor in a pile of cloth. Stuffing the pencil in one of her over large pants pockets she smirked sticking her tongue out at him. "Your own fault for sleeping at school."

Kier

She's some type of demon isn't she. Kier pouted staring up with large wounded eyes at Kellan as she began to cackle menacingly. Sent here to torture me by depriving me of beautiful sleep. And just being generally troublesome. Gaze shifting to a glare he accused her dramatically." Your evil rant you! Here to steal my beautiful soul!"

Kellan

Irritated Kier is a strange Kier.
Grinning impishly she wiggled her nose teasingly. "If only. Unfortunately I'm just little old me. Your dear best friend who likes skills and dead things."

Kier.

That may be worse.
Kier sighed finding himself quickly growing tired of the game he began. I really must be tired of I'm acting so energetic. Standing he grabbed her wrist and began soldier marching them to class. "Let's go. I need sleep badly."

Kellan

"Thats the spirit!" Kellan giggled hurrying to catch up to him. Walking beside him she playfully bumped his hip. "See this is what it feels like to be a dedicated student. Or as dedicated as you'll ever be." Tugging her hand free she danced on a head slightly. "The teacher will be so proud!"

Nicolette

She rushed through the front doors just before the bell rang, pretty much barely missing a late slip. She quickly ran by her locker, grabbed her needed supplies and darted for first class. On the way, she passed by Dani's classed, who was already in session, but was staring with boredom out of the classroom's door window.

Dani

As he saw his sister past in a panic to not be late, he rolled his eyes at the thought of her missing another day, to the point where their dad would be forced to court.

Nicolette

She was basically running through empty halls, being late as she was. She sheepishly skidded into her first period, closing the door behind her in a hurry. She began apologizing, "I'm sorry," on a continued loop, until she finally calmed, sitting down.

Dani

He tapped his pencil against his notebook, staring at the wall clock, longing for the end of today; Friday. He looked around the room, taking a mental check of the faces, hair color, teacher included; basically looking at anything else than the work they were supposed to be doing.

Daniel Zackary

He grimaced as Kayth moved his arm from around his shoulders, "well.. that's the bell" he uttered rubbing the back of his neck. Daniel glanced around and back to Kayth, "I'll catch you later buddy".

Raven Maddock

She walked alone down the halls that got less and less busy as time went on, finding her classroom she took her seat.

Josh Zackary

Giving a small wave to Asahi and Tetsuya, he smiled, keeping quiet. He had never been good around new people.. most of his friends were Daniel's, and Josh couldn't help but wonder if they were simply his friend because he was Daniel's brother. Brushing off the sour thought, he looked to Jason. "I'm gonna head to class" he muttered closing his locker and holding his books to his chest. "It.. it was nice to meet you two" he said glancing back to Tetsuya and Asahi, before his eyes darted away to the floor.

A s a h i

She watched Josh silently. Somehow she thought they are actually the same. Living like mutes, even thought they have voices on their own still can't speak the way they want to.
"It.. it was nice to meet you two"

"M-me t-too.." she stuttered as she bows towards Josh.

T e t s u y a

That was weird, he thought. Asahi doesn't speak, not until needed. Seeing her stutter like that to blurt out the words she wanted to say to a stranger, stung Tetsu a little.

He would have thought someone else's nervousness would have made him feel comfortable, it didn't. Josh felt his cheeks warm, he was blushing, he had never been good at talking to people. "I'll.. um, see you both around then" he smiled looking to Jason and back to Asahi and Tetsuya. Josh stared at the ground before starting off down the hall towards his first lesson.

Mallory

Mallory made her way down the hall and up the stairs towards her classroom. Opening the door to the classroom the teacher stopped talking and glared at her before continuing. Mallory made her way towards the back of the class and sat down next to a kid who was sleeping, something she wished she could be doing instead of sitting at an uncomfortable desk.

Jason

"It was nice to meet you too, if you need any help getting around or anything don't be afraid to ask people. Most of them will help." He told them, smiled, then followed after Josh towards his own class. For a split second her couldn't remember what that was but found himself in his class, thankful that his subconscious knew where he was going. He heard his stomach grumble a bit as he sat and looked towards the clock, only four more periods until lunch.

Morgan

Morgan opened the door to class as her English teacher glared at her along with everyone else in the classroom. She took her seat in the back of the room and dropped her bag on the floor, staring at her teacher.

Kayth

Kayth smiled and nodded his head before walking to class. "See ya later." he shouted as he continued walking down the hall and turning into a door.

And then, there's just the two of them now again.

T e t s u y a

He clears his throat. "Let's go?" he asked Asahi. Seeing her nodded, they followed Jason's instruction to where the bathroom would be. As they arrived, Asahi quickly entered the female section. He waited outside.

A s a h i

After going out to one of the cubicle, she washed her hands and stare at her reflection to the mirror. She clenched her fist, seeing some flashbacks from her past. She took a deep breath, and knew that part of her life now, is over. After a minute, she went out and approached Tetsu. "Are you okay?" she heard him asked, she just nodded. "Okay...I've asked for directions to the principal's office, let's go there..." saying nothing more, she followed him. They stopped in front of an oak door, on the second floor. "Wait here..." then she was alone. She looked out the window in the hallway, the sky was awfully blue today, she thought. "I hope...everything would be fine." she muttered.

T e t s u y a

The conversation took minutes before they were enrolled. He didn't knew it was that easy since he never enrolled himself before. "You can attend this class..." the principal handed him a piece of paper, with a certain class's schedule. "You can attend now or start tomorrow..."

He bowed as he said thank you. He went outside, with the paper on his hand. Saw Asahi staring out of the blue again, "You waited long?" he asked.

A s a h i

"Ah...it's fine" she answered and turned back to him.

T e t s u y a

"Let's look for this class..." he said handing her the paper and lead the way.
