Surnaturel Academy

Man, my main thing is scaring people. How am I supposed to do that when peeps can just shrug it off?

C'mawn

They're just NPCs to teach

@CSA Have you not seen what happens when scare someone with a gun they start shooting, you scared him and he almost shot

Well CSA. Really you can't if that is the case. But look on the bright side.... uhh... Spooky Scary Skeletons send shivers down my spine.

I got nothin'.

But they haven't taught anything?

Mostly it's just been FIGHT THIS GUY and then next thing is defense which so far has been DO SHENANIGANS and then we'll have weapons which will, again, be FIGHT THIS GUY.

It's just fighting all the time.

And if I recall, the first class was less about teaching combat, as was the subject matter, and more about random calling people down to use their powers.

Teaching would be more like, showing some basics of combat and such. And then applying those combat basics to the powers you have.

Ok I want you all to think

What normally happens in the first days of class? A pretest right? X gave the pretest today.

What pretest? A physical examination would involve mundane tasks like pushups, running, and obstacle courses, i.e. things that can arbitrarily measure physical ability, not some battle royale.

This is not a gym class. The class is meant to improve your combat capability, so naturally you have to be pretested in combat.

Martial arts are also directly correlated to physical ability. Even if you went to a boxing or judo class, they'd still have you running and doing pushups.

So it should be form exercises, shouldn't it?

Like the teacher taking a look at how good can you punch and kick and the like. Again, not battle royale as ComradeSenpai puts it.

Yeah, full contact sparring is something only advanced martial arts students do. You can't just send anyone in, because they're probably an amateur, and that means one or both would get seriously hurt.

Everyone has their method of teaching, the best way it seemed to test was how well they can fight in a combat situation.

So that's a no?

Most of these at least pretend to be a school, interesting to see one that actually is a straight-up child soldier bootcamp.

This isn't even very good as a bootcamp.

Coked up child soldiers in the Congo are more effective child soldiers than us, and most of us have superpowers.

Sorry i have not posted me alerts died >_< did i miss anything important?
